Stopped in for a flight of beer after a day of travel and sightseeing. Beers were good and service very good.

Dry Ground is an awesome spot for craft beer lovers. They consistently put out solid, well-made brews with great variety and flavor. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is friendly, and it’s just an all-around great place to hang out. If you’re into quality craft beer, this is definitely a must-visit in Paducah.

So much potential. Please someone place in Paducah Open on Sunday and have a jukebox. I came in had a great beer asked about a jukebox and was told the owner don't want one people ask all the time. I always stop in order ok one beer realize the music is crazy and leave depressed. Tonight there was only 3 other people there. It's worth a chance put one in,surely it will either keep people there longer. Please help me help you take my money. I know there are other people who feel the same

Stopped in on our way thru KY. The staff was great, as well as the Beer. Unfortunately for us it was 30° and snow on the outdoor patio, Im sure this would be great during nice weather. With that said plenty of places to sit inside and stay warm. Thank You!

Very fun and enjoyable place! Beer was fantastic and plentiful. Many options to what you’d like. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Indoor and outdoor seating! Right next to Mellow Mushroom so you can get food too! All in all a great place and perfect to stop at if passing through Paducah!

The place is perfect! The decor is just fabulous! Tried every beer on tap, it was OK. The place is what made an impact on me. Wonderful staff! Enjoy 1 sip at a time!

Cool enough place. First person I had serving wasn't super helpful and kind of standoffish. Second person was super friendly. So service is hit or miss. Cool space. The awkward encounter with the first person who helped me sort of threw off the whole visit, but I did stick around for 2 beers and both were good.

Great location with cozy indoor and outdoor seating options. Service was friendly and the prices fair. I tried a flight, sampling a lot of different styles of beer and each was tasty. I had time to grab a single pour/pint as well and it was also nice. Some good stouts, lagers, and IPAs. Decor is nice, place is clean. I think the only thing holding them back from a full 5 in my book is a few simple fresh food options (some pretzels or tortilla chips, etc.) would be nice--but that's a minor point.

We stopped in for a cold one on our way out west, and while camping nearby. Great beer selection, with delicious varieties of beer. We enjoyed it so much that we stopped in again on our return trip home! Definitely worth stopping by.

This is a nice little brewery overall. We stopped in while traveling through the area and we're glad we stopped in. Our service was good and we got to try 6 beers as they have a large tasting board. The beer was decent overall and they had lots of varied styles, which is always good. We liked the decor as well and it was a nice brewery to visit.

Always a favorite in Paducah! Live Music, outdoor seating, amazing atmosphere. Craft beer is amazing but they have other options if that's what you're looking for. Right next door to Mellow Mushroom pizza grab a pizza and come to the brewery to eat. Service is amazing! They are so friendly.

Amazing spot with lots of space and unique items around. The menu is rotating and they also have limited release batches - make sure to try those. If you're indecisive like me, flight of 6 (for just $12, which is a steal) will satisfy your wondering taste buds. To top it off, the service is amazing. Must visit place.

This brewery was one of the few places open on a Sunday that we could find while visiting family who live here. We stopped for some beer after hiking at LBL and ordered pizza from Mellow Mushroom next year. The brewery has Mellow Mushroom menus at its tables. It goes quite well with the beer. Service at the brewery was good although only one person was working. The four of us ordered Apricot Tart, Della Barnes, Paducah Proud, Uncle Luther and Rapture. My favorite was Paducah Proud. The wife liked the Apricot Tart, which she calls delicious. We bought a growler of Paducah Proud, drank that, and returned to refill that one and get a growler of Della Barnes. I'm not a big IPA person, but our nephew liked it. We will go back on our next trip to Paducah.

great service, cute staff (if you're tall & tatted & work here, hit the line). Very helpful in recommending beers to add to the flight, ended up with 5 house brews & 1guest brew. The pours were very generous, I almost could not finish this alone. Plenty of outdoor space. They don't serve food, but I am sure they would let you roll up with a pizza from their next-door neighbors. I highly recommend Dry Ground if you're stopping through Paducah or needing a night out.

Prices out of sight, beer taste like piss. Craft beer my ass, terrible they don't know what real beer is . This place is crap, service sucks Don't waste your money on this crappy place

Dry Ground Brewing Company has been my home pub since I was ejected from the Seattle area. While in exile here in Paducah, I have cried in my excellently brewed local beer more times than I can count. So, what do I love about the place? Lets start with the beer. I usually order Preacher Pilsner - a very capable and sturdy pilsner. Occasionally I kick it up a notch and take one of their fine IPAs. If you're lucky, you'll be there when they are doing a one-off IPA that has extended fruit notes. Wow. The servers there are awesome. Especially Marley. But really, they're all very special people. Why? Imagine a new-comer from Seattle bopping into their small town Kentucky pub. I show up with my NW accent and attitude, thinking everyone is going to say something like "Hey wow, you're from Seattle! Aren't you special?" Instead, it was more "Welcome to our pub and we're so sorry you had to live in Seattle ... for 27 years". After a few visits, they knew my beer of choice and my habit of settling at the bar with my journal and fountain pen, quietly writing. I managed to make a few friends in the few months I've been going. Sadly, my company is pulling on my dog collar and hauling me all the way back to Seattle. So much for work - from - home [anywhere].

Atmosphere is good. Dog friendly. Dobbelboch is very good. Mellow Mushroom pizza on the other side of the building. Beer and pizza worthy of hanging out. Also, it's beside the train tracks so you get to see cool trains.

It's genuinely not fair ..the beer is great . You drink more then realize you're next to mellow mushroom. The people are pretty dang nice too. As far as ambience ? Great

I visited several years ago and rated this brewery a 3. Tonight, I give it a 5! Very cool vibe, great beer, beer tender is awesome (love the hat bro) and they have flight glasses! The beer is awesome! Keep up the great work!

What a nice surprise this place was. The varied beers, the large outdoor dog-friendly seating and the fast and friendly service all I impressed me. I had a Wheat ale and then an American Pale ale and sat outside to enjoy the sunset. I ordered a pizza from next door.it was also very good. Everything was perfect and the experience made for a nice stop on my road trip.

Visit the flood wall then Head for Dry Ground!! What a great place with some very interesting beers! Several IPA's, Stouts (including a nitro) and one of my longtime favorites, Belgian variants! I had their Triple, it was a winner. The server was happy to answer questions and provide generous samples of styles we wanted to taste. It is a great space, several rooms and outdoor seating. Menus for the Mellow Mushroom next door are available so you can order a pizza for carryout. Recommend a visit!

We were in town for a wedding. This was the perfect spot to end up at afterwards. Great beers and nice atmosphere. I wished they had stayed open later.

One of my favorite places to grab a beer locally. I like to go order pizza from pizza by the pound and bring it here to drink with.

Really cool place! They have a very nice selection of craft brews...not a whole bunch for non-beer drinkers and no food. (Hence only 4 stars) They are very dog friendly!!!

We loved the beautiful building and all the beers they had on tap. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and friendly. We set outside in the garden area to soak up some sun.

One of the best breweries I have ever been to. I have been driving to Paducah from Kansas almost every month since 2016 for military duty. Dry Ground is always what I look forward to most. The staff is always very nice and willing to explain all the new beer selections to you. The ambiance is so comfortable, whether you choose to sit at one of the tables in doors or around the fire pit outdoors. Truly a Paducah gem.

Visited this brewery for my wife's class reunion. We loved the randomness of their bar taps. Great selection and friendly bartenders. They made great recommendations, and really carried great conversations. You want people like that to be the face of your establishment. It's a cool place to host some small or larger events. Food is delivered, and they worked well with us for accommodations.

One of my favorite places when I come home to visit. It has a great outdoor space and the inside is awesome. I love the bistro lights and the laid back feel that breweries have. The beers are good and the staff is always down to have a convo with you. They have a ton of menus to offer for food options and have board games to borrow for a good time. I really enjoy the fact that they've repurposed this historic building in Paducah and it seems to be a very happening spot every time I'm home. I love the names and illustrations of the beer because they have Paducah references. Such as '37 Flood, Spirit of '56, and Kirchhoff Kolsch. Unfortunately, we didn't stay for the live band but they do have bands come and play in the back room.

This is my second time in Paducah and I had to check out their beer scene. I was truly impressed. The venue is really cool with both indoor and out door seating. The beer was great. I am an IPA snob and never drink anything else even though I am a SELF proclaimed beer connoisseur. Lol. I really enjoyed the hazy IPA. I would definitely come back for another one. My wife had the iron tree porter. It was delicious. Great beer and good venue. We will be back.

So I won't lie, their beers aren't my favorite. But what a fun place! The place boosted this review to four stars! We were in Paducah for a day trip from Nashville and decided to try out a local brewery before heading home. I tried all six beers in Flight 2, and, to be honest, wasn't impressed by any. But they also have a few non-DGBC beers on tap, and I had a second round of a beer they offered. So why is this review four stars? This brewery is fun. First of all, it's huge - tons of tables in the main room by the bar, more tables in a slightly hidden room past the bathrooms, and tables outside! It has games! Cornhole and dozens of board games. You can order pizza from Mellow Mushroom (next door) and have it delivered! And the service was great. This brewery has everything you need to stay for several hours: lots of beers, games, tons of seating, and food! If their beers had impressed, I'd be moving in!

Good beer and great service. I love the old building. The only thing that's missing is food.

Next stop on the brewery self tour in Paduch, KY. We referenced our yelpers suggestions and headed to another local brewery in town. This brewery is located in the old Coca Cola plant. Again, this brewery had that same industrial feel and I like the layout of the brewery. It has many areas to seat from the bar to an area in the back where you can view the factory behind the glass window. Definitely more of a hipster brewery than the first one we visited. The service again was great! Our bartender was knowledgeable and let us try different ones before deciding on our beer. I was disappointed we could not do a flight because they ran out of glasses. I think that was just one factor towards my 3 star rating. They also do not have food, but you have an option to order from Mellow Mushroom and have it delivered to the brewery. That is a nice feature! The bonus for my husband and a smart move in the brewery was offering peanuts while drinking. Let's talk beer! I tried the both the Dog Drank my homework and Rapture. Both darker beers, but did not find that the flavor profile was there for me. My husband has the Belgium Tripel which he liked. He agreed the beer needed something. I do like that they have the community tables so you can get to know the other patrons of craft beer. I'm all about getting to know people so I am all over social opportunists, my poor husband. Overall, I do think you need to make this a stop while in town for the atmosphere and the ambiance.

Great local brewery. Try there Stella Barnes it's great. It's located in our original Coke plant and have a great outdoor space.

Great service, friendly beertenders, and BIG flights! You definitely get your money's worth here, not to mention the beer is fabulous. This may be the best spot in Paducah! If you're a beer lover, this is worth going out of your way for. They also have a nice outdoor seating area, games, and a mellow mushroom next door that you can bring your food over from.

First time in Paducah and checked out Dry Ground. Be sure to double check the hours before you go! Yelp and google both had something different listed. We got there before it opened but went to Mellow Mushroom next door to get a pizza to bring over while we waited and the timing worked out perfect. The patio was great and the Marleywine was deliciously dangerous!

I love going to a micro brewery and being able to see the big stainless steel tanks of my favorite brew, "beer"! Nice long bar counter with indoor and outdoor seating, lots of draughts on tap to tempt all taste buds even those with discerning palettes! No food but grab a pizza from next door and eat it to the sounds of live music. They evidently have music on a regular basis. You will not walk to this place that is in an old CocaCola bottling plant, from downtown or the local hotels so plan on driving.

Rapture the imperial stout was excellent Probably beats Guinness My wife had Wheelhouse Wheat complete with fresh blueberries Truly great locally brewed beer

The place is super cute and fun! Service is great. Love meeting friends here. However, if you don't like IPA's, then the house beers probably aren't for you. There's some darker than others. I'm not a big beer drinker, and I can only tolerate the pineapple cider.

Absolutely fabulous experience. Great beer - amazing pizza that can be delivered from next door. Cool vibe indoors and out and a very cool staff. We would make it a point to stop here again on our way through town. Only wish it was closer!

This is my second time here and the second time I had a less than stellar experience. I tried a flight of 6 different beers. Nothing great, nothing terrible. The host was as aloof and unwelcoming as any place I have ever been. He wasn't rude, just couldn't care less I was there, and I was literally his ONLY CUSTOMER. I am an avid brewery visitor/traveler and would suggest if you are in this area, to Google other breweries/brewpubs in the area or state and try them instead. It's a shame because it's a really cool setup here.

I had 7 beers (a flight and 1 full one don't get excited). Of the 7, I just thought 1 beer was decent - a Belgian Brown and that was only after I let it warm up some, otherwise not tons of flavor. I didn't drink much of two others (ESB and '37 Flood). The Fresh Plowed and Adam's Beard, both of which I consider hard to mess up per style weren't that great. They had what looked like 15 beers on tap so that is quite a few but if you are pretty much a beer place the beer needs to be better. The space is pretty awesome, lots of room for...stuff. Mellow Mushroom is right next door. It was hard to call them to get them to deliver to the bar. I feel like there should be a Bat phone at the bar just for calling, only it should be shaped like a pizza. Paducah doesn't have tons of beer places yet so luckily there is still time to work on the beer.

We're from Michigan and have talked seriously about driving all the way back to Paducah just to spend another night talking with a friendly bartender about some mighty tasty flights of well-crafted beer. As former "lager and pilsner only" beer drinkers, we really enjoyed the flavor festival but also learned a lot from our barkeep about why those flavors taste the way they do and what makes the ABV ratings vary. We've got a ton of very fine brew pubs and microbreweries in Michigan, but very few of them have given us as memorable and enjoyable a night of barstool camping as Dry Ground.

WOW! What an awesome Brewery!!!! My husband and I just happened to walk in as we were trying my to find Mellow Mushroom~. All things happen for a reason as the bartenders were very nice and helpful so we thought why not have a couple drinks in this cool looking place! Ended up we stayed a couple hours..this place is amazing! They described the selections and we enjoyed the kinds we chose. If we lived closer this would be a regular for us! We did head to Mellow Mushroom for pizza- this is a must stop! Cheers Dry Group Brewing Company, job well done!!

Wow!! I came to check out Dry Ground while in a business trip and I am so thankful I did. The space is beautiful. It is spacious without feeling cold and was comfortable for me as a solo traveler. The two bartenders were fantastic! Both had great personalities and zero pretentious attitudes. The beers were explained well to me all and the recommendations were spot on. I was able to try the Cold Hard Truth which is a Wee Heavy and the Yardbird which is a Doppelbock (yum). This is some GREAT beer. Very unique and the prices are insanely low for what you are drinking. I would pay more for a bottle of Bud in Tampa,FL than what they are charging for this craft goodness. I wish I could have tried more but they are strong...Uber or Lyft will be a must next time. Even the patrons were friendly and chatted with me. People in this place are very happy to share the history and I loved that. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! Will be back for sure!

Fantastic Place!! We visited this brewery after eating at the Mello Mushroom. Both are located in old CocaCola bottling plant. My boyfriend had a flight and thought all beer was fantastic. The children played board games and had a really nice time. We were told afterward that we could have ordered our pizza and had it delivered to the brewery. Both businesses are owned by same person. We will do that in the future when we visit here again.

Clearly, this place gets it. Perfect atmosphere, outstanding beer, and always great company. The set-up really lends itself well to conversation and getting to know people. It is built into the back of an old Coke bottling plant, ironic that it is the new king of Paducah beverages! 12 of their own beers on tap, I won't make a recommendation, because I assume you have your favorite. I like Preacher Pils and Fresh Plowed because I'm a pilsner or saison guy. The '37 Flood and Adam's Beard varieties are also popular, it just depends on your beer taste. There will always be 10-15 "guest beers" on tap also. There is a beer flight of any 6 for just $12, give that a shot if you aren't sure. They don't have any food, so bring something with you! If you're lucky you'll find a bowl of peanuts on your table. I would recommend getting something at Midtown Market across the street and bringing it in. Pro-tip, go to the left end of the bar, under the huge BEER HERE sign to order. There won't be a waiter coming around to your table.

Paducah's first and best craft brewery! Excellent beer with several styles to try in their awesome tasting room. The location at the back of the historic Coca Cola plant is amazing and was the cornerstone in the revival of Paducah's midtown area. Uncle Luther is my personal favorite which is an extra special bitter but if you like slightly darker beers... iron tree porter is especially good. I think they have over 20 of their own beers now on tap but also have several other craft beers from other areas also available. Another great feature....Mellow Mushroom (the best pizza place in town next door in the Coke Plant) will accept orders from Dry Ground and deliver food right to you in the tasting room!

My first time here and it was great! I went in with no expectations and was happily surprised by the staff/owner-operators, the ambiance and the beer! Perfect for any occasion plus there's a mini fire pit on the patio. If you're in Paducah you're coming here, you're ordering an Adam's Beard and you're going to have a good time.

I'm visiting Paducah and checked out this local brewery. The space is great, open with plenty of seating and tables. They have a varied beer menu and are conveniently located to food and coffee. Their beer is a fairly standard variety. I got a flight and have to say that it was all ok, but none of it was in the running to be a new favorite. Their guest taps intrigued me and if I lived here I would probably be checking more of those out. All in all, it's worth a visit but a flight sized sample is all I want most of their beers.

Loved going here all through the summer for a beer on the patio! The beers are great and the staff is always awesome. It's in an old Coca-Cola factory, so the interior is super rustic and cool. A great vibe especially if you're visiting or going out with some friends!

TLDR: Really chill spot with good craft beers. I can't speak too much on Paducah, KY craft beer scene as I was just passing through recently, but it seems like they have a good brewery in Dry Ground. From what I understand, this is the first craft brewery in Paducah - always exciting to bring craft beer to places without it. Anyway, if you don't use Uber, Lyft, etc. here, there's a decently sized parking lot right by the entrance that's shared by some of the other business next door. As far as ambiance, it's definitely chill and low-key. If this was my neighborhood brewery, I'd probably hang out here a lot with friends. There's a wide variety of beer styles available at Dry Ground, including, but not limited to stouts, IPAs, ESB, porters, kolsch, and saisons. The great thing about Dry Ground is that they do serve flights/tasters so you can try multiple beers out without having to commit to a full pint/pour with each one. I personally have tried: - Della Barnes (New England IPA) - 75 Mile Gose (sour) - Cross Pollination (saison) - '37 Flood (IPA) - Adam's Beard (tripel) - Barrel-Aged Rapture (imperial stout) Apart from the 75 Mile Gose, which I found a bit too watered down, I found the beers to be at least really solid, especially for a new-ish brewery. My personal favorite was the barrel-aged Rapture. There's a lot of barrel aged stouts out there now, and I think Dry Ground did well with their version of this style of beer. Service was decent - I didn't have to wait too long for beers and no complaints there. Overall, a chill hangout spot with good beers and one worth visiting if you're in Paducah.

This place is the best brewery in the area. Great beer selection and awesome atmosphere, very chill, great service . There is a nice outdoor area with a fire pit that is perfect for cold nights. A lot of people seem to come here looking for bud light or other non craft breweries. This place specializes in excellent craft beer. Dry Ground has some excellent craft beers such as their own umbra coffee milk stout (my current fave), Adams beard, 37 flood and many others. If you love craft beers this definitely is the place to go!
