"Opened in July, DryBy is a blow dry and nail art studio that has, in a short span of time, become much more than a salon. In muted tones of grey and pink, it's a haven of calm and relaxation for the working women of Fitzrovia. Aside from the fact that the friendly team are pros at what they do—whether its one of the five blow dry styles, or cool nail art—it's the heavenly interiors, the glass of Prosecco that comes with the treatment, and the owners, sisters Anita and Krisztina, welcoming demeanor. They also happen to have the largest selection of CND Shellac colors and the best nail art this city has to offer."

Giving 4 stars bc I made a last minute blowout appointment (8 hrs before) and they were able to get me in with such short notice, however, service is not what I expected. I arrived 15 mins prior to my appointment and was picked up more than 5 mins past my appointment time. In that 20+ mins I sat there no one was working, everyone just on their phones and playing with a dog. When I finally was pickup up, the conversation was non existent. Later, a man wandered in looking for a woman and they offered him tea/coffee and even looked up the woman’s appointment time (which seems unsafe..). I’d like to point out that they never offered me anything, even in the 20+ mins I waited before my appointment. Needless to say, I turned to the stylist and said “can I have tea please?” So I did get tea. Overall, I liked my hair but wish she would have used some techniques or products for volume.

I just called to cancel my appointment as I have come down with illness and have had a temperature and vomiting all night. I was told that I could come in and wear a mask, which is absurd and I would expect better hygiene from a reputable salon, or I would be charged the full amount of my appointment. This is an extremely harsh cancellation policy and I am shocked that there is no accommodation at all for illness. I have been a regular customer for a while and show up to all my appointments.

I have been going to DryBy for almost a year now. I decided around my 30th birthday to finally start getting my nails done on a regular basis. I work out 6 times a week (weight training, boxing, and hiit) so my nails have never been able to withstand any kind of shock (especially from Boxing). After speaking to the ladies working at DryBy they recommended I get brisa gel nails to help the strengthen my nails. And waouh waouh waouh, after 10 months of getting my nails done they have not broken once, they were growing so well and every 3/4 weeks I get my gel infills and its honestly the best decision I have ever made. The Nail Tech who does my nails, is the only person in all of Europe I let touch my nails: Corinna. She is a rock star at the actual gel nails, they are not thick or chunky, they feel like my own nails. And she is the BEST at nail art (check out her insta: @corinanailsartist ) she will pretty much do anything you want - may I add, that the nails do not chip and are perfectly intact after 4 weeks (even with boxing etc) If you go to Dry By ask for her directly, she is usually pretty busy (when youre that good, everyone wants her!) But try to book in 2 weeks ahead of time. I also get my pedicure done every 8 weeks (slow growing nails), and they always take care of my feet like they just hiked Kilimanjaro or danced in heels all night long. Olga and Paola are my favourite girls for my pedicure. I get classic gel and the colours that DryBy offers are fantastic. Its pretty hard to find a good nail salon that you completely trust, DryBy is one of them.

Treatment I have tried the luxury spa pedicure treatment at cost £85, the whole treatment last for 1 hr. at shown on the pic. I love it! I think so far they are the best pedicure spa treatment I have ever tried. Very sterile tools and very gentle massage. Service This is the only reason i give them 3 stars, I had to postpone my original appt because My leg got hurt(i was wearing heels) and I couldn’t walk, I was so surprised the lady on the phone said I couldn’t re-schedule my appt and no refund, I was like”I am not cancelling, I am re-scheduling”, and then she was rudely said, OK let me see what I can do. After that reply, ok ur appt scheduled on ...., I think she was thinking I am lying. I almost send my leg picture to show her, that my leg really hurt! However, when I arrived, they are OK offer me drinks etc, etc. But the lady who did my treatment she is really good! She made me comfortable and relax. Once in my life i think £85 it all worth it for spa pedicure. And I will definitely come back. Place Perfect, cozy, they provide you with pillow, you can really sleep in there Cleanliness Very clean and smell so good Overall Well this is the first time i think vouge really recommended a good spa bar. Not like last time when I tried shoreditch nails( you can read my review on shoreditch nails in my previous page)

From the second I stepped foot into the Clinique I was not only met by a friendly and smiling person, but also a calm atmosphere. Soon I was immediately indulged into the wholesomeness and aesthetics of the salon: from the delicious cup of oat cappuccino to the detailed work of Paola, who did my nails, I have never felt more happy leaving a nail saloon! I will most definitely be returning!

Carmelina is the best nail tech. I have been seeing her for years now and she is an asset to the salon. I am always received with a warm welcome by the team and feel so at home. Carmelina's work is of the highest quality, she always carries a wonderful energy. I have never left disappointed, with my expectations surpassed every time. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dry By - Thank you for being such a beautiful little bubble in the busy chaos that is Central London!

First manicure since lockdown and it certainly didn't disappoint. The staff are super professional, hygiene levels are extremely high and the team can pretty much recreate any type of nail art you show them. Nine days on and my nails are still looking so good...no peeling or chipping. Will 100% be back.

I booked weeks in advance for a bridal trial and manicure ahead of my hen weekend away. I was so looking forward to the experience as I have followed DryBy for such a long time and lusted after their beautiful instagram manicures. The lady who was on the reception desk was absolutely lovely but I soon discovered to my disappointment, that the wedding manicure I wanted from their instagram page was not going to be able to be done as I was booked in with another technician. I explained that I hadn’t gone there just to have a regular manicure, as I could go to my usual nail place for that and for the £120 I paid, I expected to get a premium service. I ended up having a less than ideal manicure with extremely basic nail art unfortunately. I was also told at the end of my appointment that I should have been booked in with the same nail technician who would be doing my wedding nails in October for continuity and the lady who I was scheduled with was leaving the company the following week. Very, very disappointing experience…

Yelp
After 2 weeks in Europe, I desperately needed a manicure. My nails were even in pain! As my new husband laughed at me, I looked up several nail salons in London until I came across DryBy. I made an appointment and we both went and got the best manicure EVER!!!! DryBy was so welcoming and kind. I jokingly mentioned that I might fly back to London just to get my nails done there again as we left, but it's been in the back of my mind for the last 2 months. I miss you DryBy. Please open another location in Orlando, FL, U.S.A.

Yelp
WORST BLOW DRY I do my hair better than this. Waste of money and time! Girl kept it my hairs out. Terrible place.

Yelp
I used to go to this salon regularly when I lived in London. Now I live outside of London I go less frequently. I recently booked in for nail art and pedicure prior to a holiday and appointment was fine. I had booked for another nail art and pedicure a few weeks later ahead of a photoshoot on Tuesday and had every intention of turning up to my appointment. Unfortunately the M4 was closed and all diversions hugely congested and difficult to get into London without significant delays. I spent 2 hours in my car trying to get into London. I called the salon three times to keep them up to date. The receptionist Lisa was callous, rude and inhumane. She had no interest that a returning customer was having issues attending the appointment. She only cared about charging me for the appointment regardless. At one point she put me on hold and hung up on me. When I called again she told me they wouldn't do anything to help me and if I didn't show I was to be charged. After being stuck in more traffic and at the time my first appointment was due I called saying I won't be able to make it. I asked if they could waive the charge as I had every intention of coming and tried by best, she laughed said no and when I mentioned calling my bank to dispute the charge she laughed again. She then went and charge me the £170 at 10:48 when my appointment was at 10:30 so my appointments wouldn't have even been completed she was that unreasonable and greedy. Upon arriving how I have now seen I never provided consent to their waiver on the app which I used to book my appointment and when I was booking the appointment I raised issue with unforeseen events like strikes or Just Oil protestors making travel impossible and they ignored my concerns. I understand companies need policies to protect against unreasonable cancellations or no shows but this is not the case and they should act fairly and reasonably when clients can't make it through no fault of their own. It is completely unethical not to take a reasonable position. Lisa's email reply to mine upon receiving the receipt was again dismissive and rude and attempted to threaten me not to write a honest review. As someone who has spent considerable money with them when I lived in London and making the effort to use them now I no longer live in London and give them repeat custom I am sicked by how they treat people and with everything the world is going through, I couldn't stress enough how we need to avoid companies who treat ordinary customers with such disrespect.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place with all the great reviews. Unfortunately my experience wasn't good. My hair turned out looking frankly quite terrible... The lady doing my hair was very nice and she insisted it looked good. Curls are going in all different directions and I look like I just went skydiving. I thought maybe I was imagining it and used to having my hair done a certain way. Nope. After walking out, I noticed a lot of stares and they definitely weren't good ones. After asking a friend for confirmation- he agreed it looked bad. A 35£ lesson I learned. Will not be coming back. Edit: the blow dry didn't event last a full day... though in this case that might be a good thing

Yelp
One of the best blowouts I have ever had! And that says a lot bc I get them several times a month. Claudio was a pure gem!

Yelp
The venues is nice and they tended to me and my friend quite quickly, however I feel like the staff doing my hair was overworked, she burnt my hair with the hair dryer a couple of times which obviously hurt so I dont think I'll be back anytime soon...

Yelp
I was quite excited to try this place. I was getting my nails and a blow out. I tried to get the pedi first when I got there and they were inflexible. Then while getting the manicure was taking place, they left a ton of cuticles left. They painted the nails nice but honestly I could have done that as my fingers looked untouched. Also, they don't soak your fingers as they don't want to get your skin dehydrated so they use a cuticle softener. I found that did not work well as the skin was still hard and it hurt A LOT as they were yanking it off. My blow dry was okay. Nothing to rave about. And as I was unhappy with my nails I cancelled the pedicure and they had the audacity to charge me for it. Overall this was super subpar.

Yelp
Booked an appointment online for a blow dry the day before a big interview. Came early, was greeted by a very sweet and friendly receptionist called Lisa. She offered me a selection of beverages and squeezed me in for a quick manicure before my blow dry. Reka, my manicurist, worked magic on my poor misshapen nails that I had done at another salon. She has amazing attention to detail, which took me by surprise as usually manicurists want to get you in and out as fast as possible. Reka really took her time and kept making sure I was happy with my manicure. It has been several days since and it still looks as amazing as it did when I got it done. After, we went back upstairs where I was introduced to Alessandro, my hair stylist. He gave my hair life and was very fast and efficient! (I have long thick hair down to my mid-to-lower back). As with my manicure, I got so many compliments on my hair and even several days later, my hair still looks awesome!! I will definitely be back and will recommend this place! Awesome service and an amazing place!

Yelp
Wonderful! My mom and I came in for express nails and blowdrys. We left feeling and looking great! Thank you so much for a fabulous experience.
