DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse - Newly Remodeled

=====NOTE: Please read UPDATE Bellow===== What is the point of a physical show store that does not help you locate a shoe in stock? I have had previous great experiences at dsw shoes here, but this visit to the store veterans day weekend had me feeling I was at Delta parks Walmart. It's probably the first time in my life that I went to a shoe store and asked if they could help me locate a particular size and staff declined to help. I have a particular difficulty reading the small numbers on a different boxes of shoes and was hoping someone could help with that but I guess that's not their job anymore. I guess shopping online really is better in all ways than going to a physical store these days even for shoes. I used to enjoy shopping for shoes every couple of months at this location. This experience left me soured on that. It all ended up being okay as I went to the website and found the shoes online for $48 less then at the store location. Maybe security should help out with the sales as they seem to actually be a bit more helpful than the actual store staff. Still, DSW online was 👍. UPDATE: Came in on a Sunday. Here is a PRO TIP: 1. Go to DSW Online. 2. Sign up for the online offers. 3. PROFIT! My advice in the store? TALK TO THE WOMEN THAT WORK THERE! Not only were they SUPER HELPFUL today, I was able to pick up my order in less than an hour MIN of Ordering! WOW! Fantastic! This is the BEST way to get $200 Shoes for a 1/4 of the cost online. Even Merrels own Website can't beat DSW shoes source! I have to change out my shoes often due to a foot injury, so I have to buy shoes every other month or so as the soles wear down in crucial areas. And DSW makes it a no brainer! To the Tall GIrl working at the front counter, you saved the day! THANK YOU!

This is one of the best shoe shop. Staff is very good at customer service. One of staff member Allen helped me choosing the right size and explained about wide varieties and also he was there till I am happy with show pair. I really appreciate his service I would recommend DSW to my friends

Dude that checked me out giggled and said "wow" when confirming both shoes I purchased were the same size, 9.5. The average size for women in America is 8.5 at height of 5'4" and I'm 5'8". Freaking rude, no matter my height.

The options are really nice. But it feels like the price range for in stock shoes is primarily the $60-$90 range. If you're looking for a budget sneaker (low), or a specific Stacy Adams dress shoe (high), you might be outta luck. Online they'll have more options. I prefer to use them as the pickup location for ease of returns if I don't care for the fit of the shoe.

If you’re a black man you might as well not shop here. You won’t be treated with the same basic customer service that white shoppers are given. During my entire shopping experience here, the security guard (bald, wears glasses sometimes) kept pacing back and forth watching me like a hawk. Only I received this unwanted and unjustified treatment. I was the only black male in the store. You do the math. When I went to the cash register the girl who rung me up asked if I found everything okay, to which I replied, “Not really.” She said, “Uh oh” and I told her, “I felt like I was being profiled.” She became silent, ignored my response, and proceeded to ring me up. As for the security guard? He stopped pacing back and forth and “making rounds” after seeing me get on the line to pay. When new customers (they were white) entered the store, he was friendly with them and stood stationary by the door, then began tapping on his phone without a care in the world. No making rounds anymore. Interesting. That was not a coincidence and this location needs to do better. America needs to do better. Attached is my receipt showing the total amount I spent during my shopping trip. Every single staff member in there needs sensitivity training. Especially if you’re a security guard. While you’re watching me to see if I’m stealing, someone of a lighter hue is probably making off with the whole store.

I came in last night and ended up finding a pair of shoes I loved that were on sale but wasn’t going to be able to get them at that time so I wanted to see how long they’d be on sale for. The manager Michael was so helpful and kind and spent time looking up the answer to my question and also offered to keep them on hold for me. The holiday season is so busy and stressful for people working retail so to come across someone who despite the chaos of shoppers on a Saturday leading up to the holidays, he went out of his way to help me and more so, did it with the patience and energy of a slow shift during a regular week day and that type of service (especially during peak holiday season) doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated in my eyes. I will definitely look for my future shoes at this store in particular because of this one interaction. Thanks so much Michael, that store is lucky to have someone like you in a managerial position.

The manager needs some serious training in customer service all the way down to the lowest staff. If can give less than one star for rating, in a heartbeat I would. Will never return or oder from here ever again. I placed an online order to be picked up at this location. The order had a free mini bag that was ready for pick within a short time of placing the order. The shoe was going to be delivered in 4-7 days. So I waited to pick up both since the instructions said I had 10 days from the order. I go to pick up and the shoes is the only item on my order. I ask for the bag and the girl says it was canceled. So I ask for a manager who walks up doesn't even acknowledge there's a customer standing there. Says no to the bag. I say why would I make two trips for one order. Plus the order took 2 days longer than it originally was scheduled for. She says bc you gotta an email to pick it up. I say can you give me another bag to make your customer happy. She shrugged her shoulder and walked away. So I returned the whole order and will never return or order from DSW ever again. These store will not be open long with this level of service. These employees do not care about profit or service or their paycheck and should be fired. DSW, if you are going to play in the online space, you better have your process cleaned up AND your staff well trained. Zappos will be much more deserving of my money.

restroom policy is not good. can’t even use if you’re a customer. They send customers to neighboring stores to use their restroom. seems kind of like they don’t want your business. no problem. never going back. this is not a workable policy. takes a long time to try on shoes and they used to let customers use the restroom. i guess i used to shop at dsw.

I went in for work shoes and the gentleman working there was super old school helpful and introduced me to a new brand for my sore feet which was half price as the second pair that I bought. The other gal working there was also very nice. It's hard to compete with Bezos but they are doing the best that they can and I'll be going back there. :)

I went into the store to see if they had my size they didn't so I had to order a size they still didn't have my size but I thought I would try a upper size because I had foot surgery and I wasn't sure it it was going to be to big or just right. The lady ordered these shoes for me and this is how it came from the factory I believe. I'm shocked!! That they don't take pride in their products!! With Amazon out there and other shoe stores competing for business I would think they wouldn't mail packages like this!!! I'm definitely returning this product and NEVER BUYING FROM DSW AGAIN!!!!

Went to get some dress shoes and left with those and more. I needed shoes for a work event and knew I would be able to find something. Their selection of black and nude heels was pretty good, and I was able to fit a pair perfect for my needs. I also found a pair of sneakers covered in jewels. They have the Betsy Johnson jeweled boots, bit those are not a really my style, but my partner found the casual sisters to the boots and I jumped on them. I will say the pricing is okay but not huge "discounts" and also sizing was super limited. I would find shoes I like but there would only be 1 or 2 pairs left, often in 6 or 9.5. So you may not find your "perfect" pair of shoes there, bit if you're flexible you'll find something.

I bought a pair of shoes online had them sent to the store they came in they were the wrong size the gal said she was going to return them put the $69 back on my credit card and then we reordered the right size that was supposed to come in nothing ever was credited back to my account I never got the money back so I'm out the $69 for the shoes I am in the process of having my bank dispute it to see what happens but I will never buy shoes there again because they don't do what they say they're going to do. I'm very frustrated their customer service is horrible.this was the cascade station store.zero stars for me.but it made me choose 1

DSW is a BIG store with a huge selection of footwear from many manufacturers in many styles and price ranges. Probably 3/4 of the store consists of women's footwear, and the remainder is for men's. This is pretty much a self-service store, but one exception was with the person who appeared to be the manager and was actively engaging with customers to see if they needed help. We've always been able to find suitable footwear here (all purchases for men's shoes), but the "per brand selection" is a bit limited (I saw two or three "models" of Merrell shoes, for example).

I ordered shoes a year ago and the delivery kept changing the dates and I didn't receive it until 3-4 weeks later. I decided to give it another try but once again the same thing happened

My husband and I went to DSW at Cascade Station today with plans to buy a minimum of 2 (probably closer to 4) pairs of shoes this morning. After shopping for a while (and making a few selections) I needed to use the restroom. Much to my surprise they have a key pad on the restroom. I went to the front and asked the girl behind the desk if there was a code for the restroom and was told they do not let customers use the restroom so I should try Ross or Home Goods. We left without buying anything and do not plan on returning.

I purchased shoes from this store which failed within the first few days after purchase. I tried to return with a receipt in which the young girl manager stated she would not do a return. I told her I was trying to return in good faith and if she didn't do a refund I would decline the charge on my card and would have the money back before making it to my car. She looked like she had her thumb up her ass and enjoyed saying no not understanding the lack of quality of the product they sold or fixing an issue. She simply needs to be smarter than the floor she stands on, especially heading into recession.

They are never open, dirty and has very little products. I see people stealing all the time and the poor security has been told not to do anything.

Horrible cluttered store with no inventory. Its honestly almost abandoned. Really no idea why they are even open. Just close and stop disappointing customers.

THIS IS ABOUT ONLINE PURCHASES My in-store experience was great! The reason I'm giving one star is because I found a pair of booties that I fell in love with but they didn't have my size, NO problem I just ordered them from the counter and I waited two weeks for them to come in. They did and they were MESSED up, the insole wasn't on there correctly and they were scratched. BUT I LOVED THE SHOE!! SOO I went back to another store exchanged them, waited another two weeks for shipping and what happens well let me show you..... the insole is messed up on BOTH shoes!!!!! CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY I PUT DOWN 80 bucks on a pair of shoes that don't have their INSOLE properly placed on!!!!!!????? And why they weren't able to fix the problem the second time around???! Super disappointed

Some of the staff here are idiots. I ordered some shoes and they shipped me the wrong size. I went back to get it fixed and they had no idea what they were doing or how to refund me. I thought we got it all figured out but they shipped me the WRONG SIZE AGAIN. The store location is 45 minutes from my house so I called customer service and was able to solve the issue. But seriously....do not waste your time going to this store.

My family and I are in town visiting and stopped by the store to buy shoes before heading back home. I must say that the customer service received from Michelle was BEYOND HORRIBLE! To start off, when I asked her for assistance she seemed to be in disgust helping us. Then when I asked her could she check the computer for a size, her response was, "well could you hand me the box"! To top it off, I was trying to take off my shoe, I have my 5 month old strapped to my chest and attempting to move the stroller to get to the shoes that she was requesting I hand her. She then tells me that they don't ship to Hawaii, but I definitely had a receipt in my email from when they did!!! The only reason that they are getting two stars is because the customer service that we received from Maria was as amazing! We still bought 3 pair of shoes, but we would have purchased more if we could have ordered online Michelle

I had been all over the city in search of a pair of 1920's inspired shoes for a themed wedding I was attending with no luck. I was about to give up until I wandered into this DSW. This location has a pretty large selection of many different shoe styles for both women and men. I recommend checking out the clearance racks in the back of the store. I was able to find a pair of black T-strap Naturalizers that were not only comfy, but also had just the look I needed. As the shoes were on the sale rack, I ended up paying much less than I thought I was going to spend. It was clear that I needed to treat myself to a second pair of shoes. I ended up with a casual pair of Converse slip-ons that were also waiting for me in the clearance rack. I love the size of the store and also the selection. What I didn't like is the fact that there were several employees milling about and not a single one greeted me or offered to help. I didn't really require any help, but I find it uncomfortable to browse a store without any employees acknowledging me until I reach the front counter to hand over my money. I can say that the girl who rang me up was super friendly and did a great job. DSW also has fun accessory items like purses, socks, and even jewelry.

The staff at this location are really sweet. I was carrying a single box of shoes when a lovely staff member approached me with a smile and an offer for a huge shopping bag ... it's tidy and organized .. they check to make sure you have the right sizes upon check out ... what's not to like :)

Fab, Fab. I didn't know there was a DSW at the Cascade Station near the airport. Totally, checked it out quick like. I usually get dizzy in the DSW-Bridgeport. It's just so many choices, aisles. I scanned the clearance rack and tried a few. Then tried on some regular priced items. I decided I needed to get going and settled. Not settled!, but picked a brilliant pair of boots. It was a Franco Sarto, tall, grey boot for 129.94 at clearance. I approached the register and the cost was half of that!!! Wow. Thank you so much for the grand deal. 64.97 for suede-boots that make me taller. Gal at the register was delightful.

Love this store, however if you need the restroom go somewhere else, then come back and finish your shopping. I found the restroom at the back of the store, but it requires a code. So now, if you're desperate to use it, you have to dash to the front, stand in line and wait to talk with someone. Politely interrupted a cashier asking for the code, and I was told they would get someone to unlock the door. I go back and wait - rumbling in my stomach and lower intestines we're not going to wait. I dashed back to the front asking where the nearest restrooms are, because no one showed up, and the cashier at the front didn't seem to care.

Horrible customer service. Not one person greeted me. Not one associate on the sales floor. I had to stand in line and hunt down an associate just to ask for assistance. Then was told oh our back room is so tiny we don't have room for back-stock as they laughed at my question of having more inventory in the back. I went to Famous Footwear immediately afterwards and the experience was night and day. DSW need to get their stuff together. Won't be returning to this store. I'll spend my money at a store where associates are friendly, helpful and professional.

Rows and rows of designer shoes on discount. Seek the clearance rack for deeper discounts. The regular rows don't seem to be on special. I picked up a classic black and white converse sneaker for my kid and it was $50.00. That is not a sale to me. I did however, pick up 2 pairs on clearance for myself that totaled up to $60. I went in with the intention of getting heels for the theatre and found a pair. Or 2.

This year I decided to spend my Christmas bling on shoes! So I ventured to DSW and bought not 3...not 4...but 8 pairs of shoes...or so I thought. I purchased all 8 pairs of shoes and walked directly back to the car which was parked in the front row outside the store (need I remind you of my laziness). I drove home and pulled out my bags only to discover....7.5 pairs of shoes! The lady that rung me up at DSW forgot to put one of my shoes back in the box. As my dad says...if you only have one shoe - you end up walking in circles. Well, I'm too pretty to walk in circles with one shoe, so I ended up calling the manager. After putting me on hold for 20 minutes, he asked to call me back. After "searching" the store for my missing shoe he called and said that he checked the security cameras and DSW was not at fault...the shoe had made it in the bag. RIGHT! "So you are telling me. . . .on one of the busiest shopping days of the year, you got some popcorn and started watching surveillance tape for my missing shoe?" "Yes ma'am," replies uneducated liar. I didn't have to read Nancy Drew to know something fishy is going on! Will I get my shoe back? Maybe not. But I plan to get CSI or the FBI involved and at least get a $10 gift card.

I found the cutest pair of leather Sofft pumps for $25. Signed up for the DSW card and got $5 off. Then I cancelled it because they sent a million emails. Went back a few days later with a $10 off coupon, and found another pair of shoes for $29. Sweet. The brands aren't that great ,but every now and then you do get some quality stuff. And I really like being able to just wander around and not have someone ask me if I need help every five seconds.

Horrendous customer service. 7 months pregnant and asked to used their restroom as i saw ANOTHER customer leaving it and was denied service.

It's a warehouse for shoes. If there was a way to type out the sound effect for angels singing I would totally type it. This place is huge. The selection is amazing. I have big a$$ ski feet and have a hard time finding size 11 in other stores. I never have a problem at DSW. They'll also order your size/color and have it shipped to the store or to your home for no extra cost. Their clearance department is a good 1/5 of the store itself. They have bags and accessories to choose from as well.

I hear this DSW is pretty new and expected to be welcomed with a field of shoes. But nope! The selection was not impressive... There weren't any shoes that cried out to be bought. Three stars for the CLEAN and BIG restroom.

The Docker brand belt purchased in July is already worn out! I have never purchased such poorly crafted product ever and will not return. Obviously made to a low price point rather than to be functional! A Belt should last longer than 4 months!

Great selection of wonderful shoes. Unfortunately they did not have my size. Place was clean but it was difficult to find employees to ask for help since they were only located at the register. Would go back if in the need for any shoes.

Friendly staff: they greet you upon entering the store, they greet you and ask if you need help when passing through the aisles, and they offer to call and find your size at local stores if they scour and see they don't actually have it--before you even ask them to. Store itself: well stocked, purses/accessories well organized, but the shoes people try on and leave laying about could get restocked a little faster (especially if I am reviewing that after visiting the store on a Monday afternoon, not super busy time) Bathrooms: spacious and handicap friendly but a little creepy... dimly lit and flickering... please fix the light bulbs in there so we don't feel like we just walked onto the set of scary movie DSW prices: not sure if each store gets to run different promotions, or if there's a difference between regional stores, and online... there must be. Plenty stocked clearance section, I actually found the perfect shoe my husband was looking for in his size which never happens with clearance stragglers. But, since the online promos are not applicable in stores, I wish the cashiers wouldn't hand you flyers about those discounts because if I just spent money in the store, the chances are unlike I'm going to log onto your webpage and buy more... so now you're just making me feel bad like I wish I could've saved money and shopped online... better left unsaid.

Amazing. Hands down the best customer service ever! Sela, the assistant manager, is phenomenal! She is knowledgeable, friendly and goes out of her way to help you and to make sure you leave happy. I'm from California so I'm sad I won't be getting care from her again! She's just absolutely amazing. I hope she one day becomes a district manager or of some sorts because she's just so deserving. If everyone had the same attitude as her and the same spunk, think everyone would be out of their money! Give her a raise or a promotion!!!!!

I love buying shoes at dsw. But this store lacks variety. It's staff is eh a guy kept staring at me the whole time! Like what the heck it was quite an awkward shopping experience. I did walk out with a pair of uggs on sale for 140. Besides the cheap uggs I'll be staying clear of this dsw in cascade station.

Much improved over past experiences there. Very nice staff on the floor who were helpful/available while not shadowing you, which was good. Selection as always is hit and miss - as a size 9.5 it's hard to find any of the non-cheesy, non-stiletto shoes in my size, but I still make it out of there with something at a great deal!! Disappointing men's selection which is why it doesn't get 5 stars, but glad to go to the register and (for the first time ever) not have the cashier pester me after I don't want to provide my private phone number or get on their mailing list (in the past it's been really painful to the point that they acted offended if you didn't sign up). That being said she just handed my receipt without saying Thank You. Sigh. But hey, I go here for the prices.

Today at the Portland, OR location, I witnessed a 3 year old girl get savagely bitten in the face -- IN THE FACE -- by a customer's dog. This was NOT a service dog. This was not a dog TRAINING to be a service dog. This was literally someone's pet. The child was severely hurt, the mother was distraught, and all the employee could say was that per company policy, pets are allowed into the stores. This was not a small toy dog that people carry in their purses. This was easily a 35-45 pound dog who was literally taller than the child it bit. As a customer, I am outraged that the store policy allows anything other than service dogs into their locations. It's an appalling policy and today's completely avoidable incident proves that PETS HAVE NO PLACE IN THE STORES.

I love this store!!! The associates while hard to find some times because they have no name tag are as helpful as they can be. They show concern when they are unable to help you find the exact shoe you are looking for. Yeah, it can be a hassle to drive to Tigard to get a pair of shoes but they do keep you from waisting gas if that shoe is not even there. Also it is nice that if you buy online you get FREE SHIPPING and if anything is wrong you can take it back to the store. Also their $10 certificates I get for being a FREE rewards member are AMAZING!!! The selection is wonderful and oh man do I love that clearance room. The associate are there when you need one giving their the honest opinion. There seem to be more and more every time I come in. I LOVE this store and go there a few times a week.

Shoes, shoes, and more shoes! How can anyone not like the variety and price?? I usually save about 30% when I shop there instead of paying retail.
