We had a big group and service was exceptionally slow. We were constantly looking for servers so that we could order more food. We were always lacking meat and if you didn’t specify exactly how many pieces of meat you wanted then only 1 piece of short rib would come out when we clearly stated enough for the table limit. Food was whatever and it was expensive. Not coming back.

We had the "Grand Opening Special" for dinner and at that price point, the menu choices and quality of the meal was definitely worth it. Service was a little awkward at times but nothing too bad and overall good. It was usually quick and we had enough food orders going on to keep the grill going for the most part. I'd definitely come back, particularly for the convenience of having a place like this of decent price and quality when in this part of town. I might try the regular menu next time for the added menu options.

A wonderful first time experience. A solid cozy but comfortably spacious tables for you and your loved ones to enjoy an intimate dinner together. We came in for their end of the year special although they didn't specify one coupon per person per transaction I really enjoyed the atmosphere and they had a solid selection of protein options. Not the best with their side dishes but I'll give them an A for effort. Special thank you to our amazing and attentive server and team Erick or Derick and friends y'all made our dining experience from a solid 6 to a 8.5! With unique sides like simple nachos with a complex yet savory and addictive salsa topped with cotija cheese, tots, onion rings and more. If y'all get their top menu you'll be able to sample a much larger variety of proteins. Whether it's your first time at Korean BBQ or a seasoned veteran of the meaty arts DTLA AYCE is a great stop for you. Plenty of parking all alongside the building. Make sure to bring your appetite and a few friends! PS black beef brisket all day! We had 3 orders.

I was so excited to enjoy the DTLA AYCE KBBQ and it was my first time to visit this place without going to KTOWN! Honestly, I was attracted by its snacks through yelp pictures. Off course, its price is another attraction since it is only $26.95 for all day no matter weekend or weekdays. If I only want some good quality meat to enjoy at night, I might just take the $26.95 level. However, I took the highest-level $39.95 per person since it has more choices of meat including a limited order of rib eye steak and unlimited delicious snacks and sides. When we sat down, they provide us a house salad, macaroni and spicy tomato chip. They did not provide kimchi like other KBBQ no matter what level. I ordered fried calamari, rose ddukbokki, miso soup, seafood ramen, steamed egg and corn cheese as my snacks while I waited for the meat. Highly recommend ROSE DDUKBOKKI and CORN CHEESE especially the rose ddukbokki. It was hard to decried its sauce, um, like a rich, creamy spicy tomato sauce with butter. It contains sausage, rice cake, bacon and sheet jelly?(I guessed). Anyway, both my partner and me agreed it is delicious. Corn cheese is not only corn with cheese. We could felt that the restaurant add some favor inside and it is tasty. Other snacks are good too but not outstanding as rose ddukbokki. I was so sad that I could not order other snacks such as cup ramen fried rice, kimchi jjigae, Korean fried chicken bites etc.. I was too full to enjoy other snacks. For meat, I highly recommend its rib eye steak that was soft and juicy. Also, their beef belly series are outstanding. I could feel the fat melt in my mouth and the beef belly was fresh(sometimes in other AYCE KBBQ, I could feel the beef belly was not that fresh and the taste was odd). Pork jowl was thick cut!!! It was al dente and tender. Trust me, I thought it is better than pork belly (its price should be higher than pork belly in supermarket). Beef brisket was tasty too but I would mix it with beef belly since I thought it was not tender enough. Rib finger and LA galbi were common and not as my expectation. However, I highly suggest the owner of DTLA KBBQ add beef tongue into the menu. I was a little sad that the menu does not contain beef tongue for the highest-level. Its environment is special and the whole restaurant inside is hallway. Natural draft makes so little greasy dirt. I did not feel hot even without air conditioner. It has TVs in front of tables and I think it is a nice place to enjoy sport game night with friends. Its employees are nice but busy. Btw, street parking is $4 per hour, and nearby there is a parking lot shows $15. At the end of the meal, we can choose one ice cream per person as happy ending lol. All in all, I will come again but next time I might take the $26.95 level since I think this level is good enough to enjoy most of meat under a lower price.

$35.99 AYCE KBBQ! We tried almost all the beef and pork options. The faves included the marinaded galbi, beef brisket, pork jowl and ribeye. The pork belly, DTLA seasoned short rib, and beef rib finger were also good but didn’t stand out as much as the other three. Wish they let us order more galbi but there’s a limit of two ribs per person. Kimchi fried rice was also yummy and the kimchi jiggae was fine. Would definitely order the fried rice again. The service was very friendly. They have a waitlist you can join when you arrive. It would be great if they had the list on the Yelp app so you could sign up a few minutes before arriving when you’re within a couple miles away. One thing we weren’t sure about was if it was indoors or outdoors. It’s sort of both…they have windows that are open on the back “wall” of the restaurant so a lot of airflow can come through patio style. Street parking.

This is a new AYCE Korean BBQ place in Chinatown, LA. I am so suprised that how good quality food they provide. They offer premium-quality meats, seafood, and a variety of sides, like black Angus beef brisket, rib eye, Cajun shrimp, corn cheese, Galbi Jim, and a total of 39 dishes, all included for one price of $39.95 for adults and $19.95 for children. We also got their special menu item, the beef clay stone pot. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The decor is very stylish. Great spot yo enjoy the LA night skyline. Service is excellent! Will come back next time!

Everything was so good! They have great options, and everything is very high quality. Plus, love the outdoor vibes. The servers are so helpful, and the plates are a good size so you can try all the cuts of meat. Definitely will be back.

The $26 AYCE BBQ definitely worth it! Beef Bulgogi is a must try. Beef brisket, rib eye are also good. This place is also kind of like a sport bar. Also they offer discounts on game days.
