I love macaroons, and usually get Ladurée whenever I am near a store. Until now, those were some of my favorites, but I was very pleasantly surprised that Du Bonheur's were the best I have ever had! I only had the vanilla and caramel but I thought they were perfect-slightly crisp outside, chewy inside, flavors were perfect too. I have tried a LOT of macaroons in my life, but I really think they were the best.
I also had Dulcey which as another reviewer noted, it could definitely be too sweet/sickly for some, so I did not eat all of the cream inside, but I really liked the bottom cookie part with salty caramel, and the caramel top as well. The different textures and flavors were nice. I also ate all of these things one after the other so was definitely having a sweet-tooth day.
My boyfriend got a brioche (I think..) which I did not like at all and thought was dry/hard.
I was pretty impressed, but unlike most reviewers, I don't care for the decor or crowd there much. I would definitely go back if I am in the area again and probably get the dulce cake again and of course macaroons. I don't think I would try anything else though because those seemed the best things to me.
(Also, I noticed the cash register were very small bags of bread crisps for more than 3 euros, but it is just old bread that is toasted, definitely overpriced for that.)
