A small French bakery and pâtisserie offering authentic goods. The desserts are so beautifully presented and the quality as well as the taste is fantastic. You can find also find savory baked goods ranging from freshly baked croissants to quiches. The shop has some seating indoors and outdoors to enjoy a cup of coffee along with the treats they offer.

I ordered a cake for a birthday. I have to say that, Du Bonheur make one of the best cake in Berlin. The flsvours are perfectly balance and the aesthetic is simply perfect. Last but not least, I just wanna say a big thank you for the person that follow my order.

Du Bonheur is hands down my absolute favorite patisserie in Berlin! I get my birthday cake from them every single year — it’s become a tradition I truly look forward to. The quality, the taste, the presentation… everything is always perfection. I’ve also started ordering cakes for my friends’ birthdays, and they’re just as obsessed as I am now! Their creations aren’t just beautiful to look at — they’re full of flavor and made with so much care. Whether it’s a classic tart or one of their seasonal specialties, you can really taste the difference. The team is always kind and helpful, making the whole experience even more special. Can’t recommend Du Bonheur enough — it’s a little slice of Paris in Berlin, and it brings me and my loved ones so much joy each year!

It was a lovely French bakery. The eclair with vanillin was fresh and delicious. I could feel the taste of the milk for a long time after eating. Totally recommended.

I don't understand the good reviews! Maybe they've never tried French pastries! The cappuccino was cold! The sweet I ate didn't taste good at all!

So disappointing and way overpriced. Everything looks great but the flavors are not that good. Especially the chocolate tart is too bitter and not well balanced. Can’t recommend, it’s such a waste of money.

I like that pastry shop so much. Amazing quality, great taste. If you want a real French flavour in Berlin - it’s a place to go! Be careful - it’s addictive. Great with coffee. My personal recommendation is a muss cake with roasted hazelnuts 🍰☕️🌰

I hear Music in your eyes, Rainbows in your tears... I'm sorry my mind wandered Into the Ambiance of this Perfect Patisserie. Petit yet Bountiful the Array of Possibilities seems 'Endless'. (Frank Ocean) From mouth watering macaroons Beautiful Brioche, & Dinkel Brot amongst the few...my senses Soared. I ordered as if I Never have been to France. One of the fancy Cafés on my list. So finally I went there with my bestie :) The desserts looked really delicate and the price is also "beautiful", but compared with the price of the fancy desserts in Beijing, it's quite acceptable. I ordered a hazelnut tart and a simple black coffee. My friend had an ice coffee. Can't remember the name of the tart but it tastes really good. And the baked hazelnuts around it makes it more interesting when you takes a bite. Coffee is good, though not at all strong, but smells nice and it's not at all sour. I would love to try the mille feuille and mont blanc next time

Good coffee and fabulous pastries. The closest I have experienced in Berlin to Patisseries outside France. One thing to have in mind: the cafe is sort of small though and on busy afternoons or weekends, it is hard to find a seat but setting that aside, the quality of pastries and croissants is good.

I have a soft spot for this place and I get upset when I arrive and it is closed (and the French do love their holidays :)) The people who work there are nice, it is yummy and fairly priced. I am a fan of German cakes but nothing beats the French to my liking; and this delivers nicely. I recommend their Paris Brest, they do it very nicely. The Feige Cassis Tarte is yum, the Baba Au Rhum is delicious with a kick of Rhum, just like it should, taken to the perfect hit. Beautifully caramelized Tarte Tatin. I also recommend their Croissants. I took a star off for not-so-perfect Macarons. Don't get me wrong, they are nice, especially the shell. It is the filling :S It misses the mark. Not sure if it is too sweet, or too thick. I feel it needs toning and balancing to preserve the delicate nature of this mouthful of heaven.

Place was crowded, so I got no chance to sit. I ordered the Pain du Chocolat and it was really amazing. They also have macarons and a lot of french pastries.

Pretty interior.thats it. You pay for atmosphere. And nice looking bread. Which ONLY looks good. Bread was dry not tasty at all. Even can compare with supermarket bread quality. Asked waiter who seems worked here long time as manager. Question: whats strong point of this restaurant? Answer : nothing.just normal bakery. I asked again: no special baker?or ingredients? Answer: no.....nothing spetial.... Maybe im piky but really? It is right anwer for your money?

Really good bakery. Highlight of my stay in Berlin. Tried 2 macarons and 2 of the cakes. All were fantastic and were light-tasting.

Very nice place when you want to try something different from the typical Berlin bar, usually with different chairs on different tables :) This place is a window on the "first class" french pastry. The reasons why I appreciate this place are several. It's good for the Experience of some lovely elaborated french pastry as well as good for a first breakfast (still in french style) with croissants, pan au chocolat and an espresso, served in funny small cups with mustache on. My recommendations for the pastry are the Eclair and some sweets made up with pears and chocolate The local inside is very well designed. A little too fancy for someone maybe, but I really like it. There is the shimmering showcase with the sweets exposition, on the left as soon as you come in. The whole place is made up of several elegant particulars. The walls are filled with paints of pastries and nice pictures of Berlin. They serve you the water in transparent ampoules with some mint leafs on top The tables (7 or 8 probably) are well detached and the feeling is relaxed. The tables outside (3 or 4 probably) are in a very large sidewalk The service is nice, nothing to say. Probably I'm not used to see identical dressed waitress but that is in harmony with the rest :) Very nice. I will go for sure for a 5th star, after tasting some more pastries

I must say they were much better in the beginning. They were always very expensive but at least they were good. Now they raised the prices even and the quality is lower. We had croissants which were very very dry and the macrons were really old too. I used to get stuff there on my way home from the metro station and never came back again.

It is a gem! The place is definitely inspired by a French patisserie: insanely pretty pastry arranged on slate boards... Brioche and country breads neatly displayed along a wonderful counter. The only room is smallish and thus accommodates only few people. Very nice interior and cosy ambiance. We were lucky to get a table as we walked in and were greeted by extremely friendly staff (not something I encounter often in this city). The breakfast was one of the best I had in Berlin so far. The breakfast option included a fantastic bread selection (French country bread with sun dried tomatoes for example) and a cheese and ham platter (I am naturally skeptical of those in Berlin): the platter too was great with manchego and a good Swiss mountain cheese. Avocado, fried mushrooms and other goodies are served as well. We ordered salt and of course instead of the usual salt shaker they had fleur de sel - lovely! Everything was just right except the lack of wifi and the chills that came in when people opened the door. Definitely coming back for more.

New favorite breakfast cafe. Beautiful pastries and breads, tastefully decorated and friendly staff. The soft boiled eggs were right on the mark - still liquid in the middle, delicious sourdough - great tension, raisin nut and sun dried tomato breads. The cheeses and sausages were good - not just your average supermarket cold cuts. Delicious yogurt with mango jam and homemade granola. The almond croissant is a bomba/ hammer, warm and flaky, covered with almonds and filled with marzipan. The simple croissant was ok but nothing extraordinary. Good coffee! The only downside is the potential wait for a table and the draft on a cold day as many people go in and out also to buy bread and pastries to take away. Love it, recommendable and coming back.

Woo hoo First to Review! This little French patisserie/cafe just opened recently around the corner from us and we went for a late afternoon Kaffee und Kuchen yesterday. The pretty macaroon mountain in the window definitely drew me in! Inside it has a high end bakery feel to it, all shiny and white. Just to the right you can see the kitchen, and when we asked the guy behind the counter confirmed that indeed all the tasty looking cakes and treats are made on site.I saw that they also offer some light lunch choices. As it was such a lovely afternoon, we sat outside. We opted for latte and cappuccino, a couple of macaroons (chocolate and caramel flavour) and a Dulcey (a Dulce de Leche pastry, with salted caramel, cream and not sure what else!) We both thought the coffee wasn't strong enough, which is a shame but the macaroons were super tasty. The caramel one even had some gooey caramel in it! The Dulcey in my opinion had too much cream on top and the caramel wasn't salted enough to balance out the sickly sweet caramel (I think I made an error in choice there). Definitely worth coming trying the delicious cakes especially as they're so reasonably priced! INSIDE TIP: come at around 11am for the freshest cakes said the guy!

We ordered two pastries, two coffee & 6 macarons. Our cashier braided blonde hair, took awhile to take our order, went and got our macarons and came back to ask what we ordered again. She seem new and a bit clueless. She didn't ask but got my drink in a Togo cup and food in a Togo bag, although we are seating outside, everyone else has their glass cup drinking here, just not us. Just a bit weird she didn't even ask if we are eating here, instead just made it all Togo. And everyone else has a small jar of sparkling water with two small cups, we didn't have neither. And we only got one drink from the two we originally ordered, she probably forgot about the second drink, so that is fine as long as we are getting what we paid for. For the lack of service, we wouldn't be back.

I love macaroons, and usually get Ladurée whenever I am near a store. Until now, those were some of my favorites, but I was very pleasantly surprised that Du Bonheur's were the best I have ever had! I only had the vanilla and caramel but I thought they were perfect-slightly crisp outside, chewy inside, flavors were perfect too. I have tried a LOT of macaroons in my life, but I really think they were the best. I also had Dulcey which as another reviewer noted, it could definitely be too sweet/sickly for some, so I did not eat all of the cream inside, but I really liked the bottom cookie part with salty caramel, and the caramel top as well. The different textures and flavors were nice. I also ate all of these things one after the other so was definitely having a sweet-tooth day. My boyfriend got a brioche (I think..) which I did not like at all and thought was dry/hard. I was pretty impressed, but unlike most reviewers, I don't care for the decor or crowd there much. I would definitely go back if I am in the area again and probably get the dulce cake again and of course macaroons. I don't think I would try anything else though because those seemed the best things to me. (Also, I noticed the cash register were very small bags of bread crisps for more than 3 euros, but it is just old bread that is toasted, definitely overpriced for that.)

We had 5 different varieties of macarons with milk coffee. Macarons were very tasty and they have wide variety to choose from. We found it is little costlier though 1:70 each piece

Everything we were looking for in Berlin. We went three times in twenty-four hours after discovering this place. Excellent bread and pastries, cosy space, good service. Everything here is just ridiculously pretty. Their full breakfast is fantastic and very filling (basket of breads, jams, cheese, cold cuts, pesto and spreads, yogurt and amazing granola, etc), but I've since stopped in for a quick cappuccino and croissant and found that delightful as well. Weekends seem to be couples and families enjoying brunch, while on a weekday morning there are people quietly reading books or writing. I'm confused about the comments about prices. Everything seemed very reasonable, especially for very high-quality food and drink (e.g. 1,90 for a croissant, 1,40 for a brioche, a few euros for the elaborate small cakes). Very convenient next to U8 Bernauerstr. exit.
