Dubai Frame – Attraction Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"What’s this place all about? Designed to represent a metaphorical connection between the old and new city, Dubai Frame is said to be the largest picture frame in the world. The giant, glistening gold frame stands nearly 500 feet tall and boasts panoramic glass lifts that shuttle guests to the top, where they can walk on a clear glass walkway along the entire 313-foot width. Tickets can be purchased online or at the venue and cost between $5 and $14 (children under 3 and visitors with special needs or disabilities can enter for free). What’s it like being there? Shimmering Insta-worthy appeal. Is there a guide involved? Guides are only available for school groups. Who comes here? Plenty of tourists of all ages and nationalities visit Dubai Frame, which is an obvious haven for selfie seekers. Did it meet expectations? The landmark is easily identifiable across the city; as such, it does its job in attracting attention. Standing under it feels like being overshadowed by a gigantic archway. The ride to the top is impressive, as are the views, but the cafe is a disappointment. What, or who, do you think it’s best for? Instagram enthusiasts and photographers will appreciate the Dubai Frame the most. Children will find it a novelty, too, but if you're afraid of heights it's probably best to remain firmly at ground level." - Melinda Healy

The Dubai Frame is more than just an observation deck; it is a stunning piece of architecture. The golden structure is beautiful to look at from the ground, but the view from the top is what makes it special. It offers a unique dual perspective you can't get anywhere else: Old Dubai on one side and the modern skyscrapers of New Dubai on the other. The glass-bottom bridge at the top is a thrilling feature that lets you look 150m straight down! It is well-organized, air-conditioned, and offers a great value compared to other observation decks. Highly recommended for the best views of the city's contrast.

A unique landmark that beautifully connects Dubai’s past with its future. From the top, you get panoramic views of both old and new Dubai – one side shows the traditional neighborhoods, while the other reveals the modern skyline. It’s not just a photo spot, it’s also a great way to understand the city’s evolution. Definitely worth a visit!

Dubai Frame is a truly unique and magnificent structure — one of the most distinctive architectural landmarks in the city. The design itself is impressive, and the views from the top make the visit worth it. The queue was big but manageable, and the staff kept everything moving smoothly. The lift takes you straight to the top of the frame, where you can walk across the glass skywalk, offering a thrilling view of the city below. It’s a great combination of design, engineering, and experience. Overall: A beautifully built attraction with amazing views, a fun skywalk, and a memorable experience. Definitely worth including in a Dubai itinerary.

The Dubai Frame offers a unique perspective on the city's duality, literally framing its rapid evolution. Located in Zabeel Park, the structure itself is an architectural marvel, towering 150 meters high. The experience is essentially a journey through time, starting with a multimedia exhibition on the mezzanine level that showcases "Old Dubai" with scents and sounds of the past. It’s a nice touch, though the real highlight awaits at the top. A swift 75-second elevator ride brings you to the Sky Deck, where the contrast is striking: look north to see the historic Deira and creek areas, and south for the glittering skyline of Downtown Dubai and the Burj Khalifa. The centerpiece here is the 25-meter glass bridge. It is initially opaque but turns clear as you step on it, revealing the ground 150 meters below—a genuine thrill for those brave enough to look down. The "Future Dubai" gallery at the end is a bit of a quick walkthrough compared to the rest but offers an optimistic sci-fi vision of the city's next 50 years. For the best experience, visit during the "golden hour" just before sunset to see the city in both daylight and illuminated glory. Tickets are reasonably priced compared to other observation decks. However, be prepared for queues at the elevators and security, especially on weekends. It’s a solid hour-long activity that delivers great photo opportunities without taking up your whole day.

Amazing structure! Great photos from the adjacent park but not much up in the viewing gallery - the displays before and after (ground level) were interesting but up top it is just the view and an expensive coffee stand with no seating. The glass floor is fun for a few minutes.

Incredible place to visit, we'll organized entry system with fantastic staff. Professional photos done as you go your choice to purchase at the end. Veiws from the top stunning old Dubai and new Dubai. Glass floor to walk to add to the excitement. Not crowded so you had opportunity to take plenty of photos. Lovely souvenir shop to end the experience. Totally worth visiting Dubai Frame. We didn't pre purchase tickets may have been the time of year we visited not sure but didn't have any wait time which was a bonus. Exceptionally clean place to visit. My photos aren't very good as photography is not my strong point.

I brought my parents and brother here, and they absolutely loved the experience. It is truly one of Dubai’s hidden gems, beautiful, well organized, and worth every moment. Tip: Book your tickets online in advance and arrive early to avoid long queues and enjoy everything at a relaxed pace.
