We loved this experience! Anansa was amazing and so helpful! She let us finish the last 3 throws before heading out to make it fair and it was so fun. Pumpkin spice espresso martini special was fire!! The staff was all good vibes 🙌🏼

Amazing Service, I can’t rave enough! We came Super Bowl Sunday for a nice chill area to play games, drink, and watch the Super Bowl. Little did we know we would stumble on the best place! The instructor for the Axe Throwing was amazing and very patient. They showed me (newbie) different ways to level up my throw and were constantly checking on my progress. Such a fun place! The drinks were delicious and the service was the best we have experienced in a long time. They were so welcoming and let us stay to watch the entire Super Bowl game. I cannot rave enough about this place! The location was clean and very well maintained. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, you folks were great!

Yeee yeeeee! Oh my glob. Had too much fun here. Having never landed an axe or knife in my life I went in prepared to continue that streak. Ja Ja Ja citizen. It was not that way. The most amazing staff were there to make it work. From check in to getting set up. I am grateful. I foresee future visits for myself. They will walk you through it. Help you if you ask nicely. And there is alcohol. (Even I had a drink). You can bring food in. Which I recommend. They do have some snacks available. Oh, and the bullseye hits in these pics. All me. Yuuuup. So if your around and are looking for something different. Don't nap here. The rest of the campus is filled with shops and restaurants. Area 15 is a complete night out. Families abound. Dates afoot. Something for everyone during the only time of day anyone can be outside. Hope to see you there. Stay safe. Have fun.

Coach Aimee was so helpful and encouraging!! It took me a few tries to get the hang of it, but she kept giving great tips and I ended up beating my boyfriend! Overall a great experience, I would definitely recommend it!!

Google
Fernanda was amazing. She was kind and gracious and helped teach us how to play. Made sure our drinks kept coming. Had a wonderful time thanks to her

Google
Great experience, nice staff, fun game. We booked a lane for a bachelors party and had a great time. We got a free shot for the bachelor and great advice for our tournament. I would recommend to switch to a game like „bucket list“ after one or two rounds of tournament. We would definitely come again

AHHHHMAZING!!! Coach Kayla was the absolute best👌🏾👍🏾. I ended my last game with 25 points thanks to her superb coaching. This was my first ever axe experience🪓 and it was so freaking fun!!!! Coach KAYLA is the best. Thanks for making this trip memorable.

Yelp
I truly didn't know what to expect from my very first time axe throwing, but I was pleasantly surprised at how fun and easy it was to learn. The employees (David & David) were awesome at teaching everyone how to properly and safely hold the axes and knives, optimizing our experience and ensuring we were all enjoying ourselves. I've already recommended this place to several friends and family members because of how much fun I had. I can definitely imagine the fun being amped up even more if you're enjoying drinks from the bar as well. Thanks so much for a great time! Pro tip: Check which days they offer cosmic lanes for a cooler experience.

Gabrielle D.

Yelp
This place is so much fun! Love that you can have a drink and food while still doing something with friends other then sitting. lol The location is cool because there is other things you can do right after you've finished here to continue the day/night. Thank you, gabi

Ev D.

Yelp
Located inside of area 15 dueling Axes is a nice Vegas attraction to visit. You can hang out with friends, have drinks from their fully stocked bar and hurl sharp objects at a bull's-eye target. You can choose from axes (obviously) and some sort of knives. I'm not quite sure what they're referred to as but they're both really fun to toss. The customer service was great, with all staff that I encountered being very helpful and informative.

Yelp
****UPDATED: This is when they first opened. Apparently they now have a full bar so they get another star. But they did not have that available at the time I went. Well it's hard because I love going to Area15 in general so it's in a prime location here in Las Vegas. However they don't have any real alcoholic drinks, we were only allowed to purchase $11 canned drink- a vodka in a can form or a drink which all of them taste gross. Not a cutwater type can drinker. We lucked out and got the expired Vegas locals discount which I appreciated as well thanks to the manager at the time. I guess if you are remotely good at ads throwing it cud be fun but I definitely did not hit the board once so since it was heavier then hour old initially imagine, I just ended up throw it and walk g the 39 feet to go get it off the floor a bunch of times and that. evan's boring really fast so I just stopped and let the other play lol. Again it's up to each individual person I just didnt love it- but it's a cool place to at least go and try it ,you may be better then I was. I just found it a bit scary and not as fun as I was hoping. It's worth a shot bc I am trying to do as much as I can while living here in Vegas, so I wanted to at least try it. But also I am not a pro axe thrower by any means lol.

Daniella H.

Yelp
Fun experience inside Area 15. Walk-in and get your waiver to start playing. You will be seated and coached on how Ax throw and the way to use their set up tablets for points and games. Our coach Kayla was awesome; super friendly and welcoming. The have a full bar serving cocktails and drinks like sodas. No food service but you can order food from spots in the Area 15. Good music, tvs to watch football, giant jenga and other games. Kids over 5+ can join in on the fun so its great and family-friendly. Great time!

Yelp
This review is about a month overdue - the company that I work for had our annual Christmas party here. There were about 25 of us and all of us had a really great time - the people in charge of our drinks made sure that we always had a full glass and the food was absolutely fantastic (not sure if it was catered or what but man it was good). The main lady gave us a rundown on how the game is scored and how to safely throw the axe. We had several lanes and all of us really enjoyed the actual activity of axe throwing. We had the place reserved for 2 hours and easily were able to fit in a lot of games until our arms hurt! The only issue that some of us had is when we arrived at Dueling Axes, the girl in charge of checking us in and getting our waivers signed had a really hard time looking up from her phone to greet us. I literally stood there for over a minute before she even acknowledged me. Other than that - this was a great activity that I hope to do again.

Brigette G.

Yelp
Great place inside Area 15! Made a reservation for one hour and had a blast with my hubby! I can't remember the name of our server, but she was wonderful! She brought us our drinks, but she also trained us and even came back to show me how to throw the right way because I couldn't get the hang of it lol. Great place for a group or date.

Haley K.

Yelp
Came here with friends to try this for the first time. They have you sign waivers at the front & then lead you to your area. There's a full bar along with food. They instruct you on how to throw & there are several types of games you can play with your group. It definitely takes practice. I did have a couple land on the board, but most ended up on the ground. It's harder then I thought. I did enjoy watching the couple next to us as they played a very competitive game getting their axes on the board every throw. We all had a lot of fun & it's another check off my bucket list. Definitely try it out if you're already heading over to check out are 15.

Catalina J.

Yelp
This location is inside area 15 which is pretty cool! There's already so much in there to do and this is a great option for date night or with the family! I will say it is pretty pricey. Just for 2 ppl it was over $80 and we only got two drinks which were non-alcoholic. We went around 10:30 but the vibes weren't good music wise until the end of our match which sucked. So I would recommend coming here later in the night because they had a dj that was playing great hits which made the experience better. Before you start a worker explains the process and shows you how to throw the ax correctly. It was harder than it looked and a workout!! One thing that really docked a star for me was the quality of the wood board that you throw the ax at. It has so many cuts from the ax being thrown it was hard to get the ax to stick in the wood because it was all messed up. I would recommend them to change out the boards more regularly so it isn't so difficult and more enjoyable. But other than that this is such a fun, new experience!

Laura W.

Yelp
A absolute must if you visit anything in Area 15. If the crowds start to get to ya this is such a great place to unwind and destress. Throwing axes was thrilling. It took me a good 20x to start hitting the board but what a feeling when it did. Plus, you get ur own uncrowned bar. The perfect way to end the night. Don't miss this attraction!! Get ur tickets in advance for weekends.

Anieda C.

Yelp
Had a fun first time here. It took me some time to actually get the axe to stick on the board lol. My partner and I really like the tic-tac-toe game the most. We also enjoyed the cosmic experience. If y'all need a fun date night idea, y'all should try this!

Sam V.

Yelp
This place is super fun! We went on Halloween and had a blast. It's actually a lot harder than you would expect to hit the board but it's still a great time. Staff was friendly and the service on drinks was quick. It's a unique activity tucked away in Area 15. The only annoying aspect was how long the check in process was. Every place is trying to collect all your personal information and it's a little frustrating to not be able to bypass giving your email, phone number, address, etc. Other than that, we had a fantastic time. I'd definitely come back!

Jana S.

Yelp
If you like Axe throwing dueling axes is a fun evening for friends or a date night style activity. Great drinks, fun vibe. The only negative is that you have to really ask for help throwing if you don't know what you're doing and the boards are VERY worn in some places. But as a whole, great time.

Derek S.

Yelp
Came here with friends to try axe throwing for the first time. The place is a good size lots of lanes and each are separated so super safe. You have to sign waivers before you can start throwing. Its 39$/person for 1hr. You have to have closed toed shoes if you don't have any they have shoes you can rent and give you a brand new pair of socks. They have a full bar and a variety of drinks to choose from. The place has a rustic vibe. Our server/coach Kayla was super nice and helpful. She gave us a quick tutorial on how to properly throw the axes and how to use the ipad to keep score and try different games. Overall its pretty fun, its a good experience definitely recommend trying when you visit Area 15.

Breanna L.

Yelp
Let's do it again. Hey! Let's do it again! Decided to do a spur of the moment thing with a good friend of mine. She's never been to any type of axe throwing, as she says it is/was in her bucket list of things. Sooo I made it happen captain! And guess what cosmic axe throwing on Saturday evening! How freaking fun! Very easy to make a reservation online, you can pay in full or put a deposit down. Sign waivers and viola!! Just like that they take ya back, quick instructions..easy as 123

Yelp
Came In With My Boyfriend For Date Night This Weekend Only To Be Blown Away With How Fun And Interactive This Experience Is. It Was Our First Time Trying Anything Like This And We Were Coached/Trained By Fernanda, She Mentioned Only Coaching A Few Times But She Was Absolutely Delightful. She Made Us Laugh The Whole Time And Was Beyond Patient With All Of Our Questions And Concerns. She Served Us Mango Green Tea Shots And They Were So Good!! I Honestly Recommend Trying Axe Throwing When You're In Las Vegas, It's Not Too Far Off The Strip And Area 15 Itself Is So Unique. Really Nothing Like I've Ever Seen Before. Thank You Dueling Axes, We Will Definitely Be Back.

Annabelle R.

Yelp
Came here with family members last weekend, and we had a blast. Most of us were inexperienced in axe throwing, so there were blunders here and there, and lots of laughing at each other. But there were also several bullseyes, which were probably due to luck not skill. Nonetheless, we didn't take ourselves too seriously here and had a lot of fun. The workers were friendly and helpful during our entire visit, from the signing of waivers in the beginning, to serving us drinks at our lane. I tried the Red Jingle Juice specialty cocktail of the month, and it was so good, one of the best drinks I've ever had (of course with lemon lime, tangerine, and strawberry flavors, this drink was made for me!). It was even served in a lightbulb glass with a strobe light attached to the bottom, this plastic bulb also taken home as a souvenir. I would definitely come back for this drink alone. But the experience overall was awesome!

josh k.

Yelp
Super fun Good drinks, decent music, kinda like bowling but with axes, check out the different games you can play on the tablets with the axes too.

Kerri D.

Yelp
We had a great time. Came here while in town for Shot Show. Staff was great, facility was super clean. Drinks were great. The only thing that would make it better was if they had Dr Pepper! Looking forward to going back again

Joy A.

Yelp
This review is long overdue. We had a bachelorette party for my cousin last year. It was something different and new and our whole party was up for something they have never tried before. Our party was multi-generational ranging from future mother-in-law age down to elementary school. (The couple of children we had were able to sit in one of the tables and watch.) The venue is more like a sports bar, totally different vibe as the rest of Area 51. Upon entering, you are to fill out a waiver. Make sure everyone in your party is present for your reservation. You will have to pay for every reservation whether they made it or not. We had 12 women playing so we took up two lanes. Each of the lanes are protected with a wired division to prevent accidental bounce backs. We had a quick instruction on safety, form and how to work the digital score board. I don't remember any of the drinks, but I do remember our server and instructor were great in motivating us and keeping the energy up. Overall, we had a memorable night. It was so much fun, and my family is actually pretty good at throwing axes. Since the bridal/bachelorette party, i have heard my family have gone back a couple of times for birthday parties. I will definitely come back when I am in the area.

Nette B.

Yelp
First off, shout out to the staff of Dueling Axe located in Area 15. My Team and I had a team building event and they took good care of us. Brandon was our instructor of how to throw the axe and he took care of getting us our drinks. Everything was smooth from completing the waiver before arriving, check in at the counter then the axe throwing. One thing that set them apart from all the axe throwing locations I've been to is the electronic way of keeping score. I remember years ago in San Diego where we would write the numbers on a chalk board. Thanks again Brandon and Team. We all had a great time.

Kat R.

Yelp
KUDOS TO KIim shes a bomb bartender and kick ass DJ David took care of us, he was great and super attentive... We had so much fun, Area 15 is a must. Great for date night, company function, hanging out with friends and family Highly recommended, oh must get the adult pouches (capris sun) !! What a treat !

Veronica W.

Yelp
I freaking love DALV! It's my favorite place to hang when I wanna go somewhere near the strip. I've been here twice and both times were a blast. I will say that 3 people or more makes it way more fun than just 2 people. The first time I came here I came with my hubby and it was a fun new experience. The second time I came and it was 3 people and it was way more fun. One thing I didn't realize the second time around was no open toed shoes are allowed so they offer shoes for you to wear but not sure if I paid or if they were free. I love that they have a bar to get drinks and the servers are always super friendly! I think it's about $45 per person if you don't book ahead of time and it seems to be more expensive on the weekends-- but I think it's worth it. I'm definitely digging the ax throwing and everything else this place offers. I'll definitely be coming back real soon and bring more peeps with me! Thanks for the Ax throwing adventure DALV!

Marites D.

Yelp
Bullseye! Throw it like it's hot, I found my happy place. I've never thrown an axe in my life before but that all changed at this venue. They are located inside AREA15. And they do offer free wifi to connect and check in. The website is useful only if you're making a reservation for 2 or more people. If it's for one person, you can do a walk-in and reserve a spot while you're there. Pricing is $39 for an hour of axe throwing and it's a must to wear closed toe shoes. They have rental shoes to borrow for $5. For Nevada local residents, there's a 20% discount with proof of valid ID. The facility has a total of 18 lanes and can accommodate up to 4 people on each lane. Jacob was very welcoming and took care of my reservation. After payment and signing a waiver via QR code, I was assigned to Lane 7. I met with Brannon who gave me instructions on my stance and how to grip the axe with both hands. Once the axe is over my head, I would rock forward and step to release a straight throw! After a few practice seeing the axe bounce off and land on the ground, I realized there's no need to throw very hard, because it doesn't take much power to hit the target. The main point is to release the axe straight at eye level so that it sticks on the board. They have a tablet to keep score of each throw, miss, and drops. There's also a score board above each lane that notifies when 15 minutes is left of game time. I've been hitting mostly 4's and got at least one bullseye, scoring a total of 36. Since my first visit was pretty good, I made another return and brought a special guest with me. I requested for Brannon because he does such an amazing job with teaching and supervising. He's friendly, supportive, and very knowledgeable if there's any questions. Now that there's two people, we each get 5 turns throwing the axe and one of us is keeping score. Having a team of 2 people engaged in a friendly competition made this visit well worth the time spent, and I would do it again. I also love how this facility is clean and upscale, has a nice bar and casual lounge. Definitely a perfect place for a date night or you can come with friends!

Monique H.

Yelp
Located inside of Area15 along with several other places to game or eat. Neon lit, very cosmic, fun for all. Axe throwing took some time getting used to. Not a bad event especially with a group of people.. staff is nice and helpful. Had to get a tutorial on arm position and release method. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was lack of snack options jerky and chips but a full bar. Also the lanes are close seating is staggered but large groups will be in your way. They have enough lanes to spread larger groups out. Check in was a breeze waivers signed electronically you can rent shoes for $5.00

Hannah L.

Yelp
Great vibe, drinks, and service! Jacob was the best and most kind server ive had in vegas! 12/10 must go!

Fernando M.

Yelp
This experience was so fun with me and my girl. We learned how to throw, the best technique +even got some practice shots in with coach Brice! Thank you for your help

Raymond L.

Yelp
My girlfriend took me here for my birthday, to be honest I didn't know how I'd feel about it because I've never been axe throwing before. But after experiencing the sensation for axe throwing, I felt joy from it, it brought back some competitiveness and fun. Would definitely recommend coming here and I would definitely go back to try it again for longer !

Joseph Anthony S.

Yelp
Great service! Even on a busy weekend. They always water the board beforehand. I love their shot special every time, this time it's a CTC mixed with horchata shot - delicious!

Lauren C.

Yelp
Dueling Axes is a fun group activity in Area 15. It's a solid option for people looking for something to do while drinking. Booking can be done ahead online. Reservations can be for one or two hours. On a Saturday night we paid just over $40 per person for one hour of throwing. Pros: - a quick tutorial/safety lesson is given at the beginning - full bar is available with a server bringing drinks to your table - there are lounge areas if you want to hang out after throwing - a fun way for newbies to try axe throwing - electronic scoring like a bowling alley The lanes didn't seem to be regulation length. If you are playing for fun or for the first time then this won't matter. If you've played several seasons on a league like me then you'll be completely thrown off. I still had a good time though. My only real feedback or suggestion would be to cap lanes at four players. All six of us were in one lane so we weren't getting enough turns to get in the groove of it until the end. We finally decided to start having each person throw five times instead rotating after each throw. Everyone threw better with this method. Also, for the cost per person I would have expected two lanes. This is a really fun place to drink and play around if you find yourself at Area 15!

Samantha C.

Yelp
This place is cool. It's inside Area 15, which we found to be enjoyable. This place is only getting a one star review though because of the server Jacob. Although attentive and friendly, he repeatedly hit on my 21 year old daughter to the point of uncomfortableness for all of us. A few nice comments would have been fine. But he literally continued the entire one hour we were throwing. Ended the night by asking for her number with an absurdly cheesy line. He needs to focus more on his job than my daughter. Other than that, lots of fun.

Evelyn L.

Yelp
The check in experience was the worst. You would think it would be in the back as you want paying customers, however although you can buy 30 minute increments for play time they will force an hour on you if you just go in person. You don't have a choice, you have to complain or suck it up. The girl was not friendly to our group nor the walk in group behind us. So we did complain and sure enough the manager welcomed us for the 30 minutes. Still a battle. The reason I gave it two stars was because our host inside was really nice and friendly. Proceed as your own will.

Kennedy B.

Yelp
We visited Dueling Axes at Area 15 as part of the experience pass. It was a great way to sit down and have a drink while doing something utterly fascinating at the same time. As baseball fans, we wanted to keep going past the regular 30 minutes, but the place was getting packed. If we could have upped our reservation at that time, we may have stayed, but we would have been kicked back in the queue. People of all ages were having a blast. We enjoyed every minute. Surprisingly, our daughters starting hitting bullseyes and we'll never forget it.

Tony H.

Yelp
An axe throwing spot located inside Area 15. We were able to reserve our time, fill out the waiver and pay for our tickets online before we got here. To get inside area 15 I believe you have to have tickets to one of the places inside or pay general admission just to get into Area 15. Dueling Axes has about 15 axe throwing lanes, a bar with beer, wine, and cocktails, a lounge area, about 8 TVs, and a private/vip area with another 3 or 4 lanes. The staff was helpful getting us set up at our lane and going over the instructions. Before going make sure you read the instructions in the waiver and make sure you have closed toe shoes.

Allen C.

Yelp
Nothing says good time like throwing axes and drinking. Sounds like a great combo and it actually is. I enjoyed myself and it was so worth it. I've never done this but you'd never know it by the way I was hitting bullseyes. Definitely a good time, I'd definitely suggest it.

Arturo O.

Yelp
Had an incredible time here! Our server was really nice and helpful. Thanks again, Jacob!

Avis A.

Yelp
Love the place, was able to have my kid throw few rounds of ax, staff was very helpful and easy on teaching and cost was very reasonable, open setting with fun games for everyone.....probably the best spot inside Area 15.

Guy K.

Yelp
In A Nutshell: -If you wanna do something a little different besides bowling, you will enjoy throwing some real axes in Vegas. -You can pay for a 30 minute session or 1 hour session, depending on how much time you wanna spend. -30 minutes for 4 people was pretty good, we were able to squeeze in 2 games. -There are different techniques to throwing an axe (i.e. one handed, two handed), but I think the most important thing is the follow-through to ensure you'll get it straight and sticking. Overall, this was a fun place to do something a little different.

Emiliamo B.

Yelp
Expensive. I paid $257 for an hour for 6 people. The place is nice, service is good. It was fun since it was our first time throwing axes but not worth it for the price. I guess is pricey cause the location. Right after we went to EMPORIUM ( the arcade room located at Area 15 as well) over here we spent probably like $50 and played Pool, basket and arcades for like an hour.

Jacob T.

Yelp
Great time! Staff friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced. Went on cosmic night and had a blast!

Trish S.

Yelp
So locals beware-- their site says they have a local discount. It does not state its only Monday through Thursday. No, indeed, it states-- pick your date, pay your deposit and tell us at checkin and we will discount your visit. So I paid a deposit for 4 people this past Saturday. Showed up to pay and asked for the locals discount: "It's only for Monday through Thursday." And since we already paid our deposit, it was cancel and lose the deposit or stay and pay full price. This is deceptive marketing. Not cool, not cool at all. Did we stay? Yes. Was the alcohol purchased by my friend who states there was no price on the menu crazy expensive? Yes again. Not worth it. Deceptive marketing= bad business Such a shame as the venue was cool.

Miriam L.

Yelp
What an awesome time!! This was better than I even expected! Our server Jacob was so friendly, and the bartender Johnny makes the best drinks!! I'd recommend the recommend the Mexican Spice drop!

Monina T.

Yelp
Went here to celebrate my birthday. It was the highlight of my day. The customer service was great. A kind lady told us the rules, how to properly hold the axe, etc. The same lady often checked up on us to ensure we were doing ok and asked if we needed anything like more drinks. It was awesome that we were able to bring food inside. *Check out the restaurant next door - food was great.* The drinks were good. We had so much fun that we extended our time. It was easy to do so as well. The vibe and music was great. Definitely planning on returning. Great place for both small and big groups, young and old. You won't regret it!

K. L.

Yelp
We always have such a fun time when we come here. Amazing date night with my love. Jacob hooked it up with the shot of the month! Mexican Candy shot

Cam C.

Yelp
Jacob for the win!! A blast for a year date night! You won't be disappointed. Great music, great fun, great atmosphere.

Yelp
My son was visiting from Hawaii so this momma came up with some fun activities for the week. Axe throwing at Dueling Axes was one of them! Since he has never been to AREA15, thought I'd book this experience to show him a good time at this venue. He and his cousin really enjoyed it! Meanwhile, momma could never throw a bullseye, but happy to report I at least landed a few throws and got some points on the board!! The best thing to do is book this experience online, or by calling, in advance. Must wear closed toe shoes, bring valid photo IDs, and sign waivers. Locals get a 20% discount! We ended up paying $28 per person for 1-hour, plus drinks. Only 4 people allowed per lane. Each party can have one Spectator (no fee) but the rest have to pay. It was our first time throwing, so we were given a 5-minute tutorial by our server. She also showed us how to score on the tablet and started us out on League Play. The key to throwing a bullseye? My +1 said "It's the flick of the wrist." My son said "I don't know", followed by a laugh. I say....just try your best and never give up! Haha! This is definitely not my cup of tea, but I still had a great time with my peeps, watching father & son duel in some friendly competition. We enjoyed a couple of beverages while we threw our axes. There's also food on the menu. Service was excellent, from checking in at the front to service while throwing in the back. Would recommend if you could afford it!

Yelp
Came in with a group of friends and had a bad experience when my friends where checking in because I wasn't throwing because a very dark skinned girl at the front desk was word for word telling another guest who came up to talk to her on how to give a bad review of there server. I have yet to see the review the group was going to post on here or google. I hope they don't put half the negative things she told them to put because some of which made me feel very uncomfortable and seemed like she was trying to get that server in trouble and possibly fired with some of the things she said. It also seemed as if she knew the people but I can't be certain the server we had was awesome he kept good attention to my group and made sure we had drinks if we wanted them and made sure we knew how to throw I will most definitely be coming back even with the bad start.

Yelp
Went to Dueling Axes as a last minute birthday activity. Made a reservation online about 2 hours in advance and had no issues booking! Just needed the whole group to be there to start. Drinks were good. Service was good. And it was a blast! Definitely recommend as a good group activity in Vegas

Yelp
Fun experience! The friendly and attentive staff teach you how to throw an ax and give you pointers to improve your game. If you don't have closed toe shoes, you can rent a pair (comes with a new pair of socks).
