We chose Duet for a very meaningful evening, and it felt special in every possible way. The restaurant itself is beautiful, calm, and intimate, with a setting that immediately makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. I loved how the eight-course menu unfolded. Every dish looked like a piece of art but, more importantly, the flavours were elegant and balanced. Nothing felt overdone. The wine pairing complemented everything so well and made the experience feel complete. What I appreciated most was how comfortable the team made us feel. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making the night memorable. It was one of those evenings where everything just clicked — the atmosphere, the food, the wines, and the feeling behind it

We celebrated a very special moment at Duet on top of the Ritz-Carlton, and it turned out to be one of those evenings you don’t forget. We chose the eight-course tasting menu with wine pairing and every course felt thoughtful and precise. Beautiful plating, surprising combinations, and flavours that kept building throughout the night. One of those dinners where you slow down without realising it, just to take it all in. The wine pairing fit perfectly and added to the experience instead of overpowering it. Our table was quiet and private, yet the atmosphere still felt warm and alive. The space itself is stunning, especially once it gets dark. Service was genuinely friendly and natural, not formal for the sake of it, which made us feel comfortable from start to finish. Everything just worked. The setting, the food, the wines, and the people. We left feeling like we had experienced something special. Would absolutely come back, especially for another celebration.

Birthday Dinner | Oct 15 We chose Duet, The Ritz-Carlton Bangkok for my birthday dinner -the newest luxury hotel in town, and I’ve always loved The Ritz-Carlton. Duet by David Toutain is truly a masterpiece — Michelin-star artistry you can taste and feel. Every dish tells a story, melts in your mouth, and turns dining into a form of art. Worth the visit, every single bite. The staff were charming, attentive, and beautifully trained and yes, all good-looking! 😄

Celebrating an early Valentine’s Day at Duet felt like the perfect choice for us as a duo. The evening was made incredibly special when a waitress who remembered me from another establishment recognized us, adding a warm, personal touch that made the night feel more intimate. Between the thoughtful service and a highly skilled sommelier who guided our pairings perfectly, it was a seamless experience that truly hit the right note for a romantic occasion.

Impeccable service, and quality curated menu. This is a rather late posting as the dinner was back in January during Ritz-Carlton's official opening night. Had the privilege of dining at Duet, and icing on the cake was meeting Chef Toutain himself who flew in from France to do the final checks, crossing the Ts and dotting the Is. The curated menu was of high standards, with plating and table side presentations well prepared. Service was not just attentive, but warm and engaging. The staffs actively strike up conversations and you can feel they genuinely wanted to engage you. Love the little cards which are presented on the table to introduce the key herb used in each dish. The main dining room, which is designed as a glasshouse, truly set a beautiful dining ambience.

I tried Duet by David Toutain — a new fine dining gem of The Ritz-Carlton Bangkok — offers an elevated French dining experience in an elegant glasshouse overlooking lush Lumpini Park. Come around sunset and you’ll get a stunning golden-hour view to go with your meal. I tried the Summer Inspiration series, which was heavy on vegetables but surprisingly rich and indulgent — exactly how I love. Every course was thoughtfully composed, with seasonal ingredients transformed into dishes full of depth and flavor. I’m definitely coming back next season!

The restaurant is beautiful with a nice ambiance, but it lacks proper lighting to allow for good food photography. For a place of this caliber, aside from serving delicious food, the lighting should be arranged in a way that lets customers take great photos to share with their friends. It’s a bit too dim here. As for the taste of the food, IMHO, it might not appeal to the majority of Thai people. If the goal is to have Thai customers return frequently, the menu might need to be adjusted slightly to better suit Thai palates.

Duet by David Toutain exceeded all expectations! The service was amazing, and the staff were genuinely attentive and welcoming. The food? Absolutely phenomenal—each dish was a masterpiece. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect setting for an unforgettable dining experience. For the quality of food and service, the value is outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional fine dining in Bangkok. Without a doubt, this is the city’s new star in the culinary scene. We’ll definitely be back!
