"After 15 years of award-winning brewing, Duggan’s Brewery moved to Parkdale for a full restaurant experience. If you’re looking to quaff a lager and watch a game, this is one of the best spots on Queen West. They offer nine beers on tap, plus small-batches of specialty and seasonal brews. The menu offers wings and burgers, plus a few beer-themed items like Stout Crème Brûlée." - Format

I’ve never been a fan of Duggans but their space was pretty cool. Now they’ve moved into their basement and lost the only thing they had going for them. Their new entrance is at the back (on Brock) and the place feels a bit damp and cold, but I can imagine a few locals will enjoy how divey it feels. Their beers still suck, of course. Lol

Excellent beer. Pretty good food, small portions but they are presented well. Music is loud but not too loud to have a conversation. Nice to come to with a small group.

Food and beer is great, but service really sucks. It wasn't even busy, maybe 5 tables, and the short blond hair waitress forgot cutlery and just was never around when needed something. They were out of the beer i liked and instead of recommending something similar (for a place that specializes in beer) she clearly didn't care and walked away. I would give 3 stars but beer and food shouldn't be over showdowed by a bad apple.

Excellent food, service and price. Well worth a visit for anyone, even if not vegan. Desserts great...our group had three. Mac & (vegan) cheese delicious. Only complaint: music far too loud, could not hear each other. Will return nevertheless.

Beers were fine, but not what you'd expect from a craft brewpub. Service was quite slow - had to wave the server down each time for a drink even though it was almost empty. Food was extremely salty but seemed to be good quality otherwise. Server never checked on us to ask about food or to see if we needed drinks. Don't think I'd visit again.

A lot of folks are reviewing the food place upstairs, I would split those reviews out... Anyhow the actual brewery DOWNSTAIRS is great. It's a brewery with a speakeasy bar feel. Also has a good setup for live music. The beer is good, not my top choice in Toronto but they have a good selection and some very drinkable stuff. I recommend a visit. You can check off speakeasy and brewery all in one.

This is a favorite location of ours. A majority of the beers are really tasty (German Pilsner and Double IPA are standouts) and the service is always great. The bar itself is well laid out, clean and has a good atmosphere. I docked a star on this (no half star option unfortunately) because I find the food selection and quality a bit hit and miss...it used to be a lot better unfortunately. Overall, if you want to grab a few pints, chat and/or watch the game while having something to snack on this is an excellent choice.

I love beer and I had a flight of their house beers. Maybe it was me that day, but nothing seemed exceptional. Band was good. Now we ordered fries and they were pricey (it's just a potato). So when the order came in a large bag I was glad I could share it...then I noticed the bottom was pushed up in the bag, so there actually were only half of what there seemed. Nice trick boys.
