"Teal House Coffee and Bakery, born from owner Lance Phillips’ popular homemade cinnamon rolls, is now open. The family-run bakery truck is located at 1716 East Slaughter Lane, found at Duke’s Adventure Golf. Teal House serves cinnamon rolls (including a gluten-free kind), croissants (regular and chocolate), and kolaches (one with cream cheese, another with sausage and cheese). Phillips also plans on hosting weekly pie nights on Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m. (with a menu of apple, blueberry, banana cream, and key lime whole and by-the-slice). The pies will also be available for Mother’s Day. The trailer also serves coffee drinks like cortados, flat whites, and salted caramel lattes. Phillips 'fell in love with Cinnabon, but [was] on a college budget,' so he started baking his own cinnamon rolls. He expanded his repertoire to an apple pie that won the neighborhood baking contest. Then he became known as 'the cinnamon roll guy,' and started receiving orders from neighbors, and thus, Teal House Bakery was born. The bakery gets its name from the color of the Mueller house in Mueller that the family of seven lived in when they originally started selling their baked goods (the family has since relocated). Teal House started as a way for his daughters to raise money to go to Disney World (Phillips called it 'one of the best family vacations to date'). The family is already planning a second trailer and hopes to open a brick-and-mortar location. Teal House provides table seating at Duke’s, and is open 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday." - Erin Russell

This is a nice putput golf course with some cool levels with 18 holes. It's not too hard, but it's still fun. It's very clean and playable for most ages. I like how the water flows through it all. I wish there was more shade in sunny days. Bring a hat and sunscreen for the hot summer days! Theres a restroom too! Which is also hot and not cooled down. They have a shaved ice truck next to it, which is nice, but they really need to add a food truck for a full experience and some where to relax. All in all great experience and fun time!

Google
Great place! We came here as a group of 3 adults. It was $6 per person and it took us 45 minutes to clear 18 holes. It wasn't busy when we came either (Midday during a weekday). I could see this being a good team-building activity for work.

Google
This was a really fun place. Still fairly new. The course has 18 holes which are clean and well maintained. Some holes have really great surprises as you play. There's a snow cone stand right outside. Parking and a bathroom are available. Would recommended having food and drinks and more trash cans through out the course. Overall highly recommended.

Went today as a family with my 11 and 12 year old. It was a clean and well maintained place. We got there around 7:45 and there wasn't anyone playing yet at that time. I love that! It also definitely was not like that when we left. The place was pretty full with 2 groups of people waiting to start. It's an 18 hole course and I can see how it might get kind of claustrophobic if there's Too many people. There's absolutely zero shade.. So I wouldn't advise going in the middle of the day during the summer. We had fun but it definitely was not as difficult or fun of a course as Peter Pan. I'm not a pro.. Nor do I play mini golf a lot but it did feel a bit too easy for some of the holes. I did feel like it was a bit expensive for what it was. For the four of us the price ended up being $30.31. You can however replay for a reduced price. Will probably be back but not for a while.

Google
Absolutely great south side gem. Very clean, nice, and never too crowded. There a raspa stand and coffee truck, but that's open during the mornings. Staff is very nice, pricing is very decent, and they course its 18 holes. Been here twice and I'll be going back here vs any other put-put place

Google
Super cute and fast to play. We went during the afternoon, so it was pretty hot, but we bought a New Orleans style ice at the food truck and we’re good to go.

We went for my sons birthday. It was very nice and had some shady spots! Very good idea when it's Hot outside!

Google
This was a pleasant surprise!!! I took my two young cousins and we had a blast. There were 18 holes and it had some surprising nice views and a great picnic area. Must go!

Angie G.

Yelp
Affordable, fun place for the whole family, great place for birthday parties, great hours: open 7 days a week! Highly recommend

Yelp
Awesome experience @ Duke's! Extremely clean and well maintained. Fun, yet challenging obstacles. Try it today!!!

Yelp
We felt a sense of adventure this weekend, and the weather was really too nice to stay indoors--so we drove down south (we live way north) to check out "Duke's Adventure Golf" and it was the right move!! We got there around 4:00PM and there were a lot of people ahead, but the groups moved pretty quickly. Their 18-hole mini golf course was ingeniously designed and they also incorporated water features into the holes which is exceptional. We had a lot of fun!! You can also bring your own drinks (adult beverages) while golfing! It's perfect for family, a group of friends, a couple or anyone looking to have a fun time. If you're looking for something to do outdoors, we highly recommend this place!!

Juliet J.

Yelp
Scout troop met here. All the kids and adults had a blast. This place has potential. I'd suggest putting up a few animals like some goats to match the mining theme. Maybe some mannequins with gold or something to that affect.

John P.

Yelp
The course was awesome. Had a great time playing. The 1 downside was the darn parking lot. The parking lot hold like 10 spaces. I had to park at the gas station next door. I was hoping I wouldn't get towed.

Paul D.

Yelp
As some 'stay at home' restrictions were lifted my wife and I decided to get out of the house and have some fun at Duke's Adventure Golf. This was my first time to play miniature golf here. There was free parking and a shaved flavor ice food truck in front. At the entrance you pay and provided with clubs and choice of color of ball. The 18 hole course itself was kept up very nicely with many challenges. There were a few people here and felt very safe. The traps made it fun to play where many were designed to have your ball fall into a river or pond. Poles with nets were provided. One hole used the river to guide your ball to the hole. Some real design and research were used for this course. The carpets were tight without no creases and no sun fading so it looked nice and green. The landscape was also nicely done. At the end there was a putting green to practice and some picnic tables to sit at. Restrooms are provided but no food or drinks (but there was a vending machine and believe was off when we were there). We brought our own drinks with us. A gas station was under construction next door so could in the future get your drinks and snacks there. Overall we had a great experience and be back for more.

Joe I.

Yelp
Clean, huge, fun! Plenty of parking, not far from the city. Dukes is great fun for the whole family!

Jackie Q.

Yelp
My boyfriend was taking me to AUS airport for my flight back home and we were a couple of hours early. Duke's happened to be nearby and we decided why not try it out and hopefully calm some of the pre-flight jitters. $18 for both of us to do 18 holes. The attendant estimated about 45 minutes to complete the whole course, but we finished in about 30. All holes par 2 and outside drinks are allowed in as long as they're not in glass containers. I do believe there is a charge for lost balls, but even if you get a ball in one of the water sources there are pool skimmers to get it back. His score was 49 and mine was 54, so I still have a bit to go before I come out on top, but overall a fun experience that I would recommend to anyone who is looking to do something in under an hour.

Heather A.

Yelp
It was 100* degrees outside but we still had fun at this putt-putt course! At least there was a cave to rest in!

Amanda F.

Yelp
It was a nice day outside on a Friday afternoon. My husband was off of work early so we decided to hit up putt-putt. Instead of using Yelp to find putt-putt places nearby my husband used Google. He informed me there was a putt-putt place down the street from us. We decided to give it a go. Upon arrival, we could tell it was newly open. While paying for one round we found out they had been open for about 4-5 months. The course was a little too new and you can tell when hitting the ball on the astroturf that the ball doesn't slide as easily like most other courses. The course was well maintained and not level so keep that in mind on some holes. Note, this is BYOB for your alcohol. No glass! They also sell snacks and non alcoholic drinks.

Julie H.

Yelp
Fun, clean, well-maintained course. Landscape could use a little pruning so you're legs aren't poked and all the benches are accessible. Fun water features, back 9 were more challenging than the front. We came during the heat of the day and more shade would have been appreciated but we had a blast anyway! Texas heat didn't scare us away! We'll be back!

Renai V.

Yelp
Completely empty when we showed up. Staff member was friendly, but the courses were not only boring and inconsistent, but also rigged to claim your balls. You have to pay if you lose your ball, and EVERY course nearby the water "conveniently" had no barriers and on the ground to intentionally have your ball falling into it. The entire pond would have short rocky walls except in little spots touching each course where it would be purposely flat so that we kept having to fish our balls out of the dirty, dark water despite doing our best to avoid it. Smart ploy, but not at all fun.

Lauren B.

Yelp
This place was so fun! We showed up, no wait. $18 for both of us to do a full Round. So it's cheap, byob. Totally coming back here!!

Derick J.

Yelp
Duke's is a great mini golf place. It's family owned and the course is well maintained. It's a nice family place with 18 holes of fun. They don't have any concessions except a soda machine, but there's a 7-11 right next door for convenience! No pun intended. In the evenings the course is well lit. There's a little bit of shade along the course to keep you out of the sun. There's a generous amount of parking and we never had issue finding any open spots.

Shelby D.

Yelp
Wonderful place for a young child's birthday party! We practically had the whole place to our selves. Wish the wind would have saved it it for another day- but we still had a wonderful time! Clean and small, perfect for 13 5 year olds. There is even a small green space next to the event picnic area where the kids could run around and play. Most of the parents that came had no idea about Duke's and said they can't wAit to bring their families!

Luis R.

Yelp
The entire establishment seems to have a good family-run vibe, not sure if it is or isn't. I spent a good time with my group. It was a decent price for adults and kids. The courses were fun and cute. There's also this really good snowball truck outside. Everyone else was social distancing as well, and the place was overall safe. My only real drawback is the size, I'm aware it's "mini" golf, but the size of all the courses left me wanting a bit more.

James B.

Yelp
I went to Dukes and gave the course a go before giving the review I gave of it. It was probably the dullest miniature golf course ever. No colored lights, creatures, monsters, pirate ships, UFO's, nothing. If you're going to build one, build a great one. Would be cool to have a online contest fkr each new gold course. Whoever writes the greatest idea for a golf hole wins a prize. Free miniature golf?

Anahita B.

Yelp
The best miniature golf course in Austin! It is very clean and well maintained, the staff are professional and friendly, and the course is super fun with an awesome water trick shot! Additionally they are very reasonably priced, and best of all? It's BYOB!

Ken R.

Yelp
We had a bad experience. The worker had a nasty attitude, when I arrived with my wife and grandchild. When I asked about getting a card punched for the 3 rounds of golf I paid for, he said we don't do that. I told him I had received punched cards before to work toward a free round. Reluctantly he gave me a card with one hole punched. I reminded him I paid for 3 rounds. He shouted you only paid for one. I gave him his card back. That type of raunchy attitude will make me look for another place to play mini-golf. We were the ones there the entire time... I wonder how many others have had this type of experience.--Ken

AnaLisa C.

Yelp
The course was very cute! I liked it better than Peter Pan golf. Defiantly worth it. The girl cashier wasn't very friendly though.

Curt L.

Yelp
We went around 12:30 and were the only ones there on a Sunday afternoon. A couple more showed up later. My grandson and played on a very nice and clean court. The water was flowing, blue and very clean. The course is not really a challenge with my ten year old getting through each hole with an average of 2 to 3 hits. But very much a great place for youngsters to improve their skill and enjoy doing great. Not much shade. There was a snow cone truck on the premises. I would go back but only with kids

Steve L.

Yelp
this place was a lot of fun 18 holes for only $8. the water hazards are cool in that they have eddys that keep the balls from floating away.

Nicole B.

Yelp
I have 0% athletic ability whatsoever, but I got one hole-in-one here so I'm on Cloud 9! Duke's is clean, new, really cute and a perfect date or time-killing activity. Reasonably priced, you pay and get your ball and putter. From there, take your time exploring the unique holes and winding along the path. You can bring your own food and beverage (no glass) and there are little nets to fish your ball out of the water if you happen to wack it into one of the aqua holes. Big parking lot with plenty of space, next to a gas station and pizza place. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

J M.

Yelp
Not crowded. Nice, clean. Practicing social distancing. Snow cone trailer near by. Perfect after a round of putt putt.

Shannon B.

Yelp
We hosted my son's 4th birthday party here. The kids had a great time. It isn't a super-fancy place, but who wants super fancy mini-golf? We brought in cake, pizza, and drinks and set up on the shaded picnic tables. The kids played a round of golf and loved it. Everyone got an extra kick out of the hole where you deliberately putt into the water. There was a little open space for the kids to run around, which was great. And the cost was way less than almost any other venue. If you are looking for a fun, low-key place to host a kid's party, Duke's Adventure Golf is it.

Rachel D.

Yelp
Took my daughters and my nephew here- we had a blast! They now have a coffee/ food truck (not sure of hours bc it's a coffee place) and its next to a convenient store you could grab snacks or a drink and take it with you thru the course. The water is blue, which is extremely weird, but everything is clean and the staff is nice. I'll be a regular here!

Betsy T.

Yelp
My husband and I LOVE this place! It's a great date night spot that's close to our house and super affordable! Way more fun than a stuffy dinner and a pricey steakhouse!! There aren't many options for putt-putt in Austin so we're happy there's now one right around the corner from us, we've been so many times, I can't even count on both hands. The staff is always friendly and we love the friendly competition we can put on each other. It's never overly crowded, and everyone seems to keep up pace so you're not waiting a long time before you can play. The course is a lot of fun, there are enough obstacles to have fun but not so many you get frustrated! So maybe it doesn't have crazy lights, sound effects, and moving parts, but that's what makes it better! Super laid-back atmosphere, you're not annoyed by a clown laughing every time it makes you miss the hole :-) Highly recommended for date night, kids, and groups!

belle b.

Yelp
Very happy with this place. And they are open late. It's so clean and well lit. With all new equipment:)

Amanda F.

Yelp
This is a new place. It's very well kept and we'll lit at night. More fun than the other places in Austin I have been to for mini golf. They have a few multi tier holes and some water hazards. It's very reasonably priced as well.

Michael F.

Yelp
Awesome course!!! Everything was so clean and well maintained. We had a great time

Jordan C.

Yelp
This was a great little place for our Spring Break adventure! Took my kiddos (3 & 6) and they had an awesome time with the fun holes and water play! The owner was very kind and fun was had by all! Thanks Duke's!

Candice M.

Yelp
this course was way more challenging than the ole has been peter pan. clean enviorment and the water is incorporated into the course.

Dan H.

Yelp
Took my daughters and niece here this past Sunday and we all had a great time. It was our first time playing putt putt golf including myself at 46 year old and have to say that we will definitely be back soon. The place is very clean and very well maintained.

Ashley C.

Yelp
Fun little course! I took my 4 & 2 year old for their first ever mini golfing here last weekend. While they had a blast, the water features are very much in reach and easily accessible, so probably better for older children who will stay out of the water. Not a whole lot of frills or whistles, but the course was fun and challenging.

Shane C.

Yelp
Wow! 6 stars if I could.. this place is great. It's brand new, opened in late 2017. It's so much better than that Peter Pan place. Great holes, clean environment, and it's BYOB!!! I repeat, you can bring alcohol and drink there if you want. Open late, lit up at night. Easy parking. If you're looking for mini golf in Austin this is the spot hands down.
