Duke's Spirited Cocktails

I stopped by craving a piña colada, and Megan made me the perfect drink! It was fresh, refreshing, and exactly what I needed. She was incredibly friendly and even showed kindness to my dog Chiki making us feel so welcome. The combination of great service and a fantastic drink made my day. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

We had amazing espresso martinis here with toasted marshmallows!!! Vibe was great. People were friendly. Good bartenders. Returned later after dinner and the place was busy with a small club like atmosphere, people dancing, etc. Great bar! Highly recommend for fun and great drinks.

The place is great I was able to find parking at night but this bar is really small. It was full of people and I wasn’t enabled to walk or dance. Drinks are delicious and staff members very good, polite and patient.

If you want a memorable time- don’t come here! Because I don’t remember ANYTHING after my experience at Dukes. I’m not the first woman to have this same mind-numbing experience.. Be careful when you go out here, bring your friends, preferably ones that don’t drink to keep an eye on the friends that do. Stay safe ladies.

Trifecta!!! Great and I mean great service, beautiful atmosphere and the food.... oh yeah! The drinks..... oh yeah! Try the turkey club. I was blown away. I am a huge kimchi lover, this place has really good kinchi. I think we found our new hangout spot, super chill place. Great location as well. Hope to see you all there soon!

If you want a drink that’s worth its price, this is the place to be. We got an espresso martini that was the perfect way to start the night.

One of the perfect places to park while the rest of the family walks around Healdsburg. The drinks were perfectly strong and their bar food was on point. I personally would categorize this place as an upscale dive bar and from the comments it looks like people go here to have a good time. So if you want to have a good time while in the west side of the wine country, come here.

Always a great experience at Duke’s whenever we’re in town. Unique take on traditional drinks on the menu, but they’ll also make the drink you want. Yummy little bites and fun to sit at the bar to watch the magic happen. One of our regular stops whenever we’re in town.

We come here every time we're in town and Duke's is great. The bartenders are always friendly and efficient. And the music is always good. This is always a must stop for us. Keep up the good work.

We stopped here while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant and had delicious Moscow mule while sitting in a comfy couch outside on the street. Lots of trees and surprisingly quiet- a beautiful evening. The Moscow mule was beautifully garnished with sweet William flowers and flavored with real ginger- Yum!!

To start would give negative stars. Absolutely terrible experience! Disrespected by "security" upon attempting to enter the business. Security claimed that an individual in my parties headwear did not follow their dress code. As the bar tender wears a hat displaying a cannabis business and sits at the front door and smoked a vape. When we were allowed to enter after complying with the securities request to remove headwear we had sat in the only available seating area. That happened to be down wind from the security's smoke. Hands down most unprofessional experience with an employee I've experienced! Will never be back!

Saturday night at Duke's is the place to be. Spent the day in healdsburg eating and wine tasting. As the day turned into night my friends and I found ourself checking out dukes. It seemed to be the place! Everyone we met throughout the day said it's the weekend spot. Waking into a good crowd, a DJ spinning, and drinks flowing we knew we were bound for a good time. We got a section on a couch with a table which was perfect for us to sit and people watch but also stand around to mingle and dance. The music was jamming, the delicious drinks were flowing, the vibes were vibing. We also had a good time enjoying the Photo Booth, there's a small fee for the photos and totally worth capturing the fun night. The place is very spacious and lots of room to sit, stand, hang around the bar, or even dance. I now know they serve food, so I'll definitely be returning to try some dishes and have some more cocktails. If you find yourself in the heart of wine country make sure you make Duke's a stop.

Cool little place! We stopped here to watch the niners game on Thursday. It was quiet, i guess expected for a quiet little town on a Thursday, and we were able to get a big booth/table in front of the tv in the back. One thing to note: contrary to what the other reviews say, they do not have food anymore. However they allow outside food and you can order pick up from anywhere and bring it in. We did that from Iggy's burger next door so it worked out great. Honestly the cocktails were nothing special. I know people raved about them but they were whatever to me. Their skinny marg also def had something sweet in it so that was disappointing. But the service was great! Overall recommended.

Service was excellent! The bartenders were all super friendly and knowledgeable. The vibes were on point, great music playing and an overall fun atmosphere. I tried the frozen drink (I think it was grapefruit?) and it was absolutely delicious refreshing and perfect for a warm night! There's also a photo booth

This is one of the cutest bars I've been to. Hidden in this small town of Healdsburg, just north of Santa Rosa. Drinks, djs, local members are just so fun. More memories to make in small towns like this.

Lively bar right on the plaza. Great drinks, great music, great energy. Definitely worth a stop either before or after dinner.

I can't tell you how many times we have ended up at Dukes after a day of wine tasting and, it's always, a great time. The cocktails are simply amazing and they have an extensive wine and beer list, if that's your thing. My compatriots, on this visit, informed me that the bartenders were mixology influencers. No idea what that is but maybe that explains the great cocktails. I had the smoked old fashioned which was awesome and my friends had the equally amazing sexy red, old Cuban and manhattan. Superb. The influencers even took pics with us. The TV had the Giants on and modern country on the stereo. Great great greatest. Stopped in for a drink before heading to the Healdsburg parade. There's bar seating, high tops and booths. Our bartender made great cocktails, our espresso martinis were strong (I like to switch Vodka with Tequila) and came with a toasted marshmallow!

Went here on a Friday evening and it was packed and lively with young adult crowds. There is a dance floor inside with a DJ. There's a couch in the front. There are spacious seating areas outside with heating lamps. My fiancé and I ordered two carbonated cocktails- the Paloma and a mule. The drinks were so pretty. We enjoyed them. $16 per cocktail is pricey but given the location and aesthetic, it makes sense.

We were in the area to celebrate my buddy's life changing event within a month. The morning was filled with Wine tastings and a jaunt to a local market for lunch. What was missing was a nice stiff drink. My compadre and I went to Downtown in search of a Whiskey/ Bourbon bottle and a stiff drink. We ran into this bar and it was a perfect place to grab an Old Fashion with Angels Envy and a beer chaser from Russian River. The Bartender "Alex", definitely made a great drink. The bar was not very crowded in the afternoon but had a lot of Spirits to choose from. I will be back to try more of their drinks when we are in the area again. We did find that Whiskey bottle at a local store after the Bar excursion.

I love Dukes to Death but... I really wasn't feeling the burger. You know I was having a great time. I walked in and there was a bunch of ladies dancing in the back. The peeps behind the bar were super nice like they always are. Every single cocktail me and my friends had where on point like they always are. But that burger was just ever so slightly underwhelming. The meat was cooked good. The veggies seemed fresh enough but where was the sauce? Either there was nothing there or there was very little. I swear it said there was special sauce but burger as whole didn't have anything special about it. I think i would just make sure that you are putting enough sauce on. It doesn't need to be drenched obviously(don't make the bun soggy) but you should be able to taste it, even if it's just a little. Regardless I still feel this is one of the best bars in town and can't wait to come back! I love the peeps that work here!

Absolutely blown away by dukes. Me and my wife have been a lot of places for cocktails, and both agree (we never do..) that Dante is probably the best cocktail curator we've ever experienced. The atmosphere was great, the staff were all super cool and extremely inviting. Great place to dance at night or just chill during the day. Best cocktails maybe ive ever had..We very much look forward to always coming back whenever in Healdsburg. Incredible job guys, thank you!

I'm updating my review as a few things have changed since the opening, including the original bartenders who made this place special. You can still get a craft cocktail and now some pretty tasty food to nosh on but the vibe is not at all the same; it's lost the luster, which is the people behind the bar who made Duke's special and unique. Don't get me wrong, current folks are nice enough however it doesn't have the same vibe I wrote about in my original review. Pros: drinks/food to go .

Old Fashioned - just right, not too sweet Crowd: 30-50's Music: per crowd request - pop and hip hop Atmosphere: lively and bustling, however tons and tons of flies everywhere Overall would visit again if I'm in the area waiting for dinner

We were here to meet some friends the night before their wedding. Originally we ordered a couple drinks and the meatballs and intended on ordering more food, but sadly the bar never made an announcement the kitchen was closing so we didn't get the chance. While ordering in the bar the service was prompt, there were a lot of drunk people walking up to us trying to start conversations as we sat at our table outside and at some point someone crawled over the bar to yell something into the crowd. All in all, I don't really like spaces with this kind of vibe and Duke's definitely needs to hire security.

Sonoma Wine Country is one of my favorite weekend trips & Duke's is fantastic after a long day of wine tasting. I enjoy the bartenders & especially chatting up Dante at the bar. I enjoy telling him to "dazzle me" & his mixology creativity is outstanding! I'm looking forward to checking out the new changes to Duke's & Saturday nite DJ fun this year!

So many fun drinks and fun Albany in downtown Healdsburg! Wish they had more variety of beers than IPA on draight but they still had a fun selection!

Top of its class. Must in healdsburg. Great atmosphere, drinks are awesome, bartenders are amazing individuals. Alex is a true G. I'm a beer drinker myself, but the cocktails are out of this world. The wife is never disappointed and always satisfied. Don't miss it'. If you don't like this place you might need to do some self reflection. Cheers.

Great place in Healdsburg to get a really well crafted cocktail or a local brew. Snacks like the mini corn dogs are great and overall awesome atmosphere with the possible speak easy vibes Definitely a local favorite with well priced quality cocktails. I always make a stop in when I'm back in the area for the holidays. Highly recommended for a night cap or even just to chill with some friends. Definitely see the hard work and effort put in by the owners. Make a stop in if you're in the area. For sure worth it.

Boyfriend turned 30 so we headed up to Lake Sonoma and Healdsburg for the weekend. We decided to drop by here before dinner at Kinsmoke which was just around the block. Indoor and outdoor seating, me and some girl friends got here before the rest of the group and took some seats at the bar. Lots of standing room inside with a few comfy chairs to sit in, lining the wall, along with bar-height tables closer towards the front. The music was loud and fun, they went from I forgot WHICH genre, to Hoodie Allen... to other typical top 100 jams but we were liking what we were hearing. We moved out to the patio when the rest of the group got there just for spacing reason and we were able to turn on the patio heaters to keep us warm as it was a little windy. We didn't end up making it back but we were told that it is POPPIN after 9pm. The security guard we were talking to said there is usually a total of 6 (yes, SIX) security guards in the evening as things get crazy. Wish we could have stayed for that but some of the group wanted to check out Lo and Behold. So, that will have to wait for another time. Michelle took such good care of us and we hope to see her again soon! This place has been getting some bad press lately, but it can happen at any bar so just keep an eye... on your stuff... we will be back, thank you Duke's and Michelle!

Elegant but also intimate, warm and friendly "cocktail place meets sports bar" on the square in Healdsburg. A range of creative cocktails and all the regular ones, the bartenders are top notch. Highly recommend this lively place. Folks were bringing in food from the outside to pair with drinks and the outdoor patio seating area is plentiful.

Duke's is open during the Covid pandemic! You can pick up your takeout or have Doordash deliver it. We enjoyed their burger and fries - the delicious flavors transport us back to a summer BBQ. Americana! I especially like the toasted sesame bun. A dear friend ranks this as his favorite burger in Healdsburg. It's among our top 3 favorites and it's definitely the best value (2 burgers with fries and 20% tip for less than $35). Check out their other menu items, including their family meal offerings and creative cocktails.

This is not a safe establishment for women. The times I have been there I got roofied and most recently I was kicked out for "raising my voice" at the male bartender. he had me immediately "removed". this place is disgusting and is a stain on Healdsburg.

Can I give them 6...?! Seriously rad place to have a cocktail and a nibble. The restoration hardware aesthetic feel is warmly complimented by the incredibly gracious hosts. Home grown fresh and lovely flower garnishes make even a virgin cocktail extra special. One of the lovely proprietors Laura made a cocktail that blew my incredibly finicky friends mind. She even took a couple home in their to go containers. Did I mention they make painkillers? Ya Mon! No trip to Healdsburg would be complete without stopping in. On the north side of the Town square...

It has been many many years since I have been to a bar like this. I'm more of a brewery scene-type person. Duke's has amazing cocktails and a wide selection of liquors. There is most likely a drink for everyone here. Looked like they had some food but it's not super advertised. You have to check the wall for food options. We were here for a friend's birthday so we just wanted drinks. One of my friends mentioned that the vibe was a lot more country than it normally is. They were definitely rocking out to some country music while we were there. Apparently, they also have a line dancing night that sounds fun but the space looks very small for that sort of thing. Overall, it's a nice place. Seems like it's more for the younger crowd. As the night went on we saw more and more younger people come in (We were a group of 30-something-year-olds). It's a little pricey, expect to pay about $15 a cocktail but that is pretty average for Healdsburg. I would stop here again before a show or something for a quick drink but probably not to hang out.

Such an amazing spot in Healdsburg. The bartender Alex got us in with a sample and made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The cocktails were refreshing and unique. They had so many fun options as well as classic cocktails. The food was amazing too! I never knew the good was so good there but we will definitely be back for brunch. The chilequiles were some of the best we've had in Sonoma county. The breakfast salad was light and tasty and filling. One of the best brunch spots in Healdsburg. A great place if you are in the area. I can't wait to come back and try the evening menu.

Handcrafted?! Now, that's just an understatement! More like magically crafted... yeah, that's it! Dukes, I've got to hand it to ya because you most certainly handed it to me. You flipped it, tossed it, shook it, and stirred it on UP for me! Presented those babies like it was a golden globe and guess what?! I enjoyed every single hour, minute, and second of it! I was out in the area wine tasting with a friend for the weekend and decided to give the wine a break and delve into the cocktail scene. Looked up Duke's and decided to check it out! Downtown Healdsburg is absolutely adorable, so I knew that I was in for a real treat. Walked up and could hear the music bumpin' from the outside of the building. Some may not be fond of this, but I can get with it. The crowd was actually fairly mixed considering the area. The tunes were slappin' hard and the bartenders were some of the most fun that I've seen in a while! The people here were so incredibly friendly! I met people from New York and all other parts of the Bay Area which lets you know that this place is really legit. It was a mix of locals and out of towners; probably others who were in the area wine tasting too. Okay, so let's get to the most important subject at hand: the cocktails! Visually, these cocktails look like masterpieces! I just couldn't keep my eyes off of all of the gorgeous drinks that these bartenders were whippin' up! What was most entertaining was all of the energy being put into making them. I had a blast watching the bartenders dance around, flipping and shaking the drinks. I don't care what anyone else says... this IS an art form in itself. I had two cocktails that night: the Siren and the Paterson Sorrel. Both uniquely amazing but like night and day when compared to each other. The Siren (mezcal, cucumber, lime, lemongrass, jalapeño, rao ram, and bergamot) was strong, spicy, and refreshing! The lemongrass and cucumber gave it a burst of freshness while the jalapeño balanced it out by adding a spicy kick. The Paterson Sorrel (Rum blend, lime, ginger-hibiscus tea, and Duke's tiki bitters) was reminiscent of your classic tiki drink with fruity undertones and tropical vibes. The Paterson Sorrel was definitely more up my alley since I enjoy fruity cocktails. The incredible vibe is what kept me here until closing time. I rarely ever stay until a place closes... especially at a bar! However, it was the most fun that I've had in a long time! Crowded and busy with loud music, great drinks, entertaining bartenders, and a super fun crowd! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and was actually kind of bummed that this spot is 2 hours away from where I live. I would definitely come here on the regular if it were closer to me. If you enjoy delicious cocktails paired with a wonderful time, you've got to get to Duke's!

Honestly decent drinks and bar just very disappointed in the service. the insufferable bar tender mikayla was disrespectful to me and my girlfriend, repeatedly giving my girlfriend dirty looks over some old healdsburg high beef. made a scene when we just trying to enjoy our night. Noticeably drunk calling her and other patrons a b****, will not return. Shame to see this old bar fall from grace...

So A) This place is dog friendly B) Best Manhattan I've ever had C) Fridays and Saturdays can get CRAY but in the best way possible This is the new HB staple and if you haven't been here, you're missing out

The security is like they are hosting a g8 summit. It's in the middle of a sleepy square and they act like it's the most popular club in Las Vegas.

What a fun place for a drink. We took a bike/bar through the city and landed at Dukes. The music and decor were awesome. The ladies behind the bar were beyond kind and made some incredible drinks. We also got to have this intense slushy thing which was perfect for the warm day, but found a way to creep up on you for a nice lunch on the face. Those things were deceivingly strong. Glad I stopped at 2...or 3.... I don't remember. We ended up coming back to listen to this great DJ playing the real amazing old school hits. Not this new age radio garbage. It was such a positive experience that I would venture out to Healdsburg just to go get sauced at this establishment and look forward to doing so....again....

Duke's is incredible!!! The bartenders (specifically Dante and Chris) are so sweet and engaging (and hot), the music is poppin, and the drinks are GREAT. If you're in Healdsburg it's a MUST if you are looking for a night out on the town after a day of wine tasting. Definitely will be back!

Are you kidding me? This bar is absolutely epic. Headed up by a super knowledgeable bourbon aficionado named Chris and backed by a super competent and attentive staff, this joint is world class. Excellent whisky selection, great beers, and--according to my wife--as many gins as any gin lover could want. What more is there to say? Go. Drink. Laugh. And tip big. You're welcome.

Love this fun little spot! Gets super busy on weekend nights but this is definitely a great place to grab a drink with a friend and enjoy the ambiance! Drinks are priced pretty normally for Sonoma County, which obviously gets expensive but Dukes has a fun menu which is worth trying! Also a wonderful location to hop tasting rooms and restaurants! Their gin & tonic is delicious :)

I'm a fan. The drinks are inventive, diverse in palette so you can choose from the menu if you don't have a go-to favorite, and the place is super chill. I love that Cappy and Tara are back together as they both are incredibly talented folks with a real love for creating something tasty to enjoy. If you have a flavor profile that you enjoy and don't see a drink on the menu you can tell them and they'll concoct something on the spot. I love that they make their own tonic, always a plus! Their punches and sangria are also a quick and easy option if you don't want to think too much about which libation sounds delightful. I'm in love with night vision - a carrot based cocktail that is supremely delicious! I try to hit up Duke's when I'm in town for at least one tasty treat. Lots of places to sit and relax between the seats and long bar. It can get loud due to the long narrow design of the building, but on a beautiful day the front opens out to expose some fresh air and the square which provides a lovely additional viewpoint and breeze. Standard pricing, friendly bartenders, inventive drinks, right off the square, tasty treats - what more can a girl ask for?

Been about three years since I been to this place. I see there's a new owner and changed the ambiance. Like getting rid of the 3d glass mirror in the ground. This used to be a dive bar many years ago, then bought out and remodeled. Now, another new owner. We went to a friends vineyard to visit the family, and check out their new tasting room. After, I wanted to visit downtown Healdsburg to have drinks after wine tasting, since the weather was perfect. Nice staff, great conversations, and friendly. I think I had the best Paloma at this place. Bought a friend one after he tasted mine, and he liked it as well. Seen what the "erotic city" was made of, I wanted to try it because of the Yuzu. Clever drink, but I prefer the Paloma better. They had bar bites. I will be back in the area soon, may have to come back since one of my good friends grew up in the neighborhood.
