WHY on earth would anyone put a restaurant like this on Dickerson Pike? It's in a horrible location. However, the food is really good! Just not for the price point. $28 for a 12 inch oxtail pizza is insane in my opinion. We got that for pizza week and thankfully they were required for the pizza week contest to reduce the price to $12. The restaurant smelled like burnt copper or maybe a natural gas leak inside and it's all I could smell while eating so it probably effected the taste of everything. The oxtail tasted like brisket, and there was little of it, but it added a buttery texture to the pizza. The candied/honey baked collard greens on top were delicious, and this is coming from someone that DOESN'T LIKE collard greens. The dough tasted like an Italian-Sicilian style pizza dough that was well done and not tough or raw. The sauce was semi sweet and it added to the flavor profile of the pizza. Overall I'd order that again, with a coupon or something. Aesthetically, the decor is pretty cool. They use recycled wine bottles as water glasses, the LED sign on the wall is eye grabbing, the copper bar is cool, and the wine boxes at the entrance are cool. The Italian cook books around the table are a neat ambiance. But also their main entrance is an industrial steel door with a coded lock and an iron gate. The parking lot is half destroyed and there are literal storage units sitting in it. Great concept but location is everything and this is NOT a place you want to be in Nashville.

Google
This place was a 10/10 the food was really good and different . I’m not a fan of oysters , but their oysters were so delicious. I had the pizza with salmon, shrimp, and tomato and it was amazing . Our server was extremely kind as well . And the vibes are really nice it is a really nice hang out place for dates or a group friend outing . Will definitely be back . 💙

The vibe is so chill and the people there were so welcoming. I did the create your own pizza with Alfredo and pepperoni! Honestly, it is the best pizza I've had. I also went during brunch before and ordered the oxtail grits. I had never had that combination and the flavors were so good.

I saw this place recently on my way to a coffee shop right down the road a week ago, and then I drove past it again on the way to a lesson and decided to have dinner here and bring my service dog. The hostess, wait staff, bartender were all professional and polite, and I had a really great experience. I ordered a drink, a salad, and a Nashville Hot Chicken Pizza. The drink was a purple rain (gin, lavender, lemon), which I loved. It was affordable, strong, and delicious! The salad had THE BEST RANCH I have had at a restaurant in a while. Just like my grandmas Helen’s. The bacon on the salad was insanely well cooked and there was a perfect amount of dressing! Lastly the pizza. Omg the pizza… The crust was so good I could have eaten just that. The chicken was thoroughly cooked and they added just the right amount of toppings and didn’t skimp at all. I would say probably one of the top 5 dining experiences I have had in Nashville since moving here in 2012! If you’re looking for a great place for date night, a hang with friends, or a chill night at the bar, Dukos has high tops, low tops, booth seating, and bar seating. The restrooms were clean and spacious, and I really loved the atmosphere and music! We will definitely be back. I’ll be bringing a date!

Google
I would definitely come back for a a couple drinks because the atmosphere is very nice and the pizza is delicious. I came just to pick up the infamous oxtail pizza and was not disappointed. Parking sucks but that’s most places in East.

Great atmosphere. We really enjoyed our dinner experience. Coco was our server, she did an amazing job. We ordered the oysters, truffle pizza, and the oxtail pizza.

Yelp
Oh my, a few people we met here in Nashville told us about this place. In a city known for chicken, chicken & chicken, I wanted some good pizza. Went with 2 of my girlfriends and boy this place did not disappoint. Our waitress(Coco) was very pleasant & friendly. The decor is nice and they had ATL(the movie) playing on the wall. No sound but there was music playing as well. Now to the PIZZA. I had the infamous Oxtail pizza, and my friends had shrimp pizza & pepperoni and they were all "DelicioSo" . I would definitely get the Ox & shrimp again. The pep was just pep but had a nice flavor and crust was perfect. O and the Oyster Rockefeller was good too! Check em out!

Yelp
I can hear with the anticipation on ordering the oxtail pizza. Sadly, they were sold out. Eventually, I hope to get back to try it out. Love the vibe of this place. Our server and host were phenomenal. They were very accommodating and overall welcoming into their establishment. There was a wait on the pizzas, but with the amount of people here on this night it was expected. We ordered the mushroom and Nashville hot chicken. The pizzas are thin crust fyi. I wasn't a big fan of the Nashville hot chicken. I would have preferred a little more heat to it, but also breaded chicken over the grilled chicken pieces. I will say I wasn't too pleased with the oysters. Dukos does have their own twist they put on an oyster Rockefeller, but I wasn't a big fan. Def try them to see what you think.

Yelp
I went to happy hour (5 to 7). The service was great. The Margaritas were delicious. They were generous with the liquor and you can't beat the price of 6. It was worth double that. SADIE the bartender was awesome. Appetizer...the Rockefeller oysters. They were good but I felt like they heated them right before coming to the table because they didn't have that Sizzle that you would expect. The oxtail pizza was good but it wasn't great. I did love the thin crust. It was so hyped up that I expected more and I would have appreciated more meat. The Pepperoni pizza was good but didn't look like the pizza I saw online that was covered in pepperonis. Overall I gave it a 3.5 out of 5.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place out for a while. When we arrived we were confused as to how to get in but someone directed us to the correct door. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and tried the oxtail pizza as that was popular. It was good. Our waiter was really sweet and attentive. The music was a vibe. I would come back and try something different for the menu.

Yelp
Perfect for happy hour and or a nice, casual dinner. As someone who can't have a lot of dairy, there were still a lot of options that I could enjoy. I will be back for dinner!

Yelp
I almost forgot to get a picture of my jerk Alfredo and omg it was so good!! Great flavor, perfect amount of spice, you could tell everything was fresh. This bar has a great happy hour, food is top tier. The restaurant has a great vibe, good lighting , easy to talk with friends and have a great time! Parking lot connected, staff is so sweet, great service. Truly a great experience, go check them out today!

Yelp
Came back and tried the oxtal pizza and it did not disappoint! So glad i got to try this during pizza week. The small is normally $28 which is pricey, however, the flavor is incredible! Mostly savory but has some sweetness. The collard greens compliment the oxtail well and it doesn't taste like you are necessarily eating veggies.

Yelp
First time here. Came here after the Rose Festival in East. My sister had been hearing about this place so we wanted to check it out. I ordered the Rockefeller oysters they weren't bad, not the best I have ever had but they were good. My friend ordered the oxtail pizza and it wasn't bad but my Nashville hot chicken pizza was very good. Our waitress was real sweet and the vibes were real chill. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Decided to checkout a new spot, hard to find if you're not familiar with the area cause the door is on the side of the building. But the space is large and opened, loved that. Theres a large bar too. Music playing, great vibes. There were 7 of us. We started off with some appetizers, not pictured meatballs weren't a favorite, but the oysters were good. We ended up getting 3 pastas and an oxtail and pepperoni pizza which we all really enjoyed. Pizza was cooked perfectly. It was a lot of food. We still had a bit to take home. I'll definitely be back for some pizza and our server was great she took care all of us.

Yelp
Dukos Pizza Bar is one of the newest pizza spots in Nashville and the latest addition to this area of Dickerson Pike. Tucked on the side, in the back of the plaza building that holds Makeshift, Cricket and a few other local spots, Dukos is a small spot with big vibes and even bigger taste! We came by on the first Friday night after opening as word on the street was the pizza here was legit, and those words spoke truth! Given its recent launch and this being our first visit, we had to sample a few things on the menu. We started with an order of cheese bread, and meatballs. Cheese bread was soft and fluffy, covered and stuffed with gooey cheese and sided with marinara. The meatballs, three to an order, were oversized meatballs served in a skillet with homemade sauce and topped with that same gooey cheese as the bread. Both apps were excellent and a great lead into the main dishes...the pizza! We went with two pies, the classic pepperoni with a hot honey twist, and the prosciutto arugula. The pizzas are 16", cooked from scratch and delicious. The pizzas are reminiscent of NY style pies, thin and crispy, but still foldable and sturdy enough to hold the toppings. Toppings are well placed and spread evenly, with just enough on each slice. The sauce is light, and the cheese is perfectly scattered. Crust to topping ratio is stellar. In addition to the pizza, they have a full bar. Menu has curated cocktails, as well as beer and wine. A few of us went with the house cocktails, and I went with a classic gin & tonic. All were tasty and a great pairing with the pizzas. Service was solid from entry to exit. Our server, Coco, was friendly, helpful and fun! The space is fairly small, featuring a good sized bar in the center of the room and the walls outfitted with booths and tables, and one random couch near the entry. They have an open kitchen in the back corner near the neon signs, which is a really great add to the overall vibe. Loved our trip in, but just a few things to note for the newly opened restaurant...turn the music down a tad and remove that couch. Overall, really enjoyed our experience. Pizza was solid and vibes were just right.

Yelp
My best friend Nick suggested Dukos after seeing a lot of buzz in TikTok. I got one look at the menu and saw Oxtail Pizza and I was sold! The cheese bread was phenomenal. I wish I'd gotten our server's name because she was very helpful and a lot of fun! The atmosphere was great - almost like it could be turned into a night club at some point if the evening. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Friendly service and great food. Really awesome vibe and pizza. Only ding was it took quite a while for the food to come out but it was a Friday and it was jam packed in there. Chef who brought food apologized for the wait even though we didn't complain. Felt like a neighborhood joint that the whole neighborhood was supporting. Cool!

Yelp
Love a new pizza place in the city! PLUS black owned! Pizza and pasta are made fresh! Limited modifications to pizzas but they were accommodating to my husband being pork free!

Yelp
Dukos Pizza Bar is in the heart of Nashville, TN and upon entering you will experience a warm welcome, smells that water your taste buds, and smiling faces ready to get you your seat. From the design, to the fixtures, to the music, we thoroughly enjoyed our girls night. We ordered the oysters that were simply blissful! We ordered an array of pizzas including the traditional Margherita, Prosciutto & Arugula, as well as the Oxtail Pizza! All were made to perfection and so tasty!

Yelp
Ordered a takeout pepperoni pizza, and it was great! All of the elements -- sauce, cheese, crust, meat -- were well balanced and high-quality. Order was ready quickly and at the time quoted. Would definitely order again, and try other parts of the menu.

Yelp
Great spot to kick back with friends and having a conversation over some great food and chill vibes. Service was attentive and friendly. Must try.

Yelp
This may be the best pizza in Nashville. Perfect under carriage, sauce is pure traditional. Crunch on crust. Not overtly cheesy. I live on Dickerson and never in a million years would I think Dickerson let alone Nashville would have this level of pizza. Bartender was super helpful as well.

Yelp
AMAZING!! I got the oxtail pizza, truffle pizza and the oysters! Everything was so good. That truffle pizza was magical. I wanted to order another just to take home. The oysters were perfect. I'm definitely going back for those.

Yelp
This place is so nice!!! The oysters are to die for. You have to get the garlic cheese bread to go with them. The ox tail pizza is chefs kiss. Loved everything I ordered. I will be back.

Brian W.

Yelp
Me and my mother went here late night and had the best experience. First thing our waitress Coco was the excellent explaining everything this restaurant has to offer. The Rockefeller oysters were so fye and we did the Byop, chefs kiss. The aesthetics were on point, definitely will be back.

Ethan T.

Yelp
Awesome owner and staff. Best pizza I've had in a long time. I would recommend stopping by. Vibe here is great.

Abby V.

Yelp
Honestly some of the best pizza I've ever had!! Ambiance wasn't personally my vibe as it was a little loud. Only thing that I find to be a crime is that they charge $3 for a side of ranch... Will most likely order take out next time!

Jianne M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere for a girl's happy hour. The oxtail pizza is amazing and I love their cocktails! The bartender was very attentive and the decor was cozy.

Yelp
Great service and really really good pizza and pasta. As my friend said, "there's a new king of pizza in town!"
