What a great place for donuts, pastries, breakfast and coffee! If you are on St. Simons Island during their business hours you would do yourself a favor to drop in for a donut and more! The breakfast biscuits looked amazing. The donuts and other pastries were perfect and the coffee was on point! The staff were so friendly and accommodating! I had bacon, fried eggs and a cup of coffee and was very satisfied. I sampled the sweets that my wife and granddaughter ordered and only wish I could have had more but my diet restriction got me! lol. Great place. It can get very busy so be expecting a line but oh my….it’s worth it!

Cutest cottage core bakery with an amazing selection of hand-made sweets and savory treats. We ordered two bacon jalepeño cheddar breakfast biscuits because they were that good! Loved that they knew the locals by name and treated new guests just the same. Hurry in! Once something sells out, that’s it for the day.

We had to wait in line for about 40 minutes, with two small kids, but it was honestly so worth it! We all shared 6 donuts, plus one bacon, egg & cheese on a brioche bun, and I got a brown sugar iced latte for myself. The raspberry Berliner was the best raspberry jelly I've ever had, and ergo, the best raspberry donut I've ever had. Everything was amazing though!

Incredible spot in St Simons. Some of the best — maybe the best— donuts we’ve ever had. I didn’t get any pics of our donuts because we ate them so fast. Coffee is legit good too. Cozy and clean location. Fantastic, friendly service—even on a busy golf weekend. Don’t miss this gem!!!

The donuts are ahhhmazing! Tried a vanilla creme filled and apple of my chai. Both were delicious. The box felt really heavy for just 2 donuts, but the donuts themselves were light, airy and just sweet enough. The apple of my chai was my favorite, the frosting or whatever was piped on top....pretty sure I heard angels singing when I took a bite. OMG!! If you haven't, definitely try them. You won't be sorry! Can't wait to try the pistachio creme next visit 😍 😋🤤

Dulce Donuts on St. Simons Island, Georgia, is a sweet spot worth seeking out for donut lovers. Our friends grabbed a dozen to go, and wow—they were some of the best we’ve ever tasted! Freshly made with creative flavors, fluffy textures, and just the right amount of sweetness, each bite was pure bliss. Friendly service and a cozy vibe make it a local gem. Highly recommend stopping by for your next treat! Donut flavors we tried, included cinnamon sugar, vanilla filled, glazed and chocolate frosted with sprinkles.

It's by far the best breakfast bakery on the island. Their donuts are a little unique. They are brioche style, so they are more on the light, airy and fluffy side. I personally enjoy them, but may not be for others if they are looking for a cake style donut. The biscuits are good. My personal favorite are the cinnamon rolls, especially the pecan one. I haven't had a lot of the savory items but have heard good things. I highly recommend that you go in the morning because they can sell out sometimes.

I don’t know what’s better, their baked goods or the service. The owner would remember your name by the second time you’re there. I think these are the best brioche donuts I’ve ever had. And Guy Fieri agrees. Order in advance. Lines get long outside.

Literally the best donuts I've ever had.i was lucky enough to find this place while looking for a good spot to grab something quick to eat while in the area. I live in Jacksonville and occasionally get to drive up for work. You can bet this will be a routine stop and I will be making the 1.5 hour drive this Saturday to get seconds. By the way I ordered a blueberry glazed and a strawberry something. Also a ham egg and cheese cat biscuit. It was delicious. Service was great, everyone was nice. They were very busy and even though my sandwich had sausage and not ham it was still good and I didn't care. I loved all the colored glass and milk glass. Decor was very antique feeling. Simple but classy. I ate the donuts without taking a picture. But I got one of the sandwich

Food is awesome but service can be slow at times as cashier is also part-time barista & other beverage distributor. The shop does have seating which is unique and eclectic with offerings of 2 or 4 patrons at a table. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Even when busy they all have a smile and do what they can to expedite your order. Since the Triple D episode on Food Network the crowd has increased significantly. Which is great but you'll need to be willing to wait some to get your complete order filled. Enjoy the brioche donut experience! Food is a 5 out of 5!

This is probably the best donut I've ever had. The line was equal parts long and slow but I'd do it all over again because the food was so good. We got the vanilla, maple and strawberry donuts. Maple isn't usually my thing but it was our unanimous favorite. We also got the breakfast sandwiches on both brioche and biscuit, both forms phenomenal. A must stop when in SSI.

Dulce dough is a must! We visited on our second day of vacation and returned 3 more times. The staff is super kind... and the doughnuts and breads are amazing! I got the breakfast sandwich on brioche with cheese and sausage, it practically melted in my mouth! It's fantastic, you can't go wrong with anything

This place is amazing. The interior is super cute. They have a lot of tables inside and a counter. They have a few tables outside on the porch. The donuts and biscuits are so delicious. The vanilla brioche donut that I ordered literally melted in my mouth. I also ordered a latte which was fine. My daughter ordered a biscuit with sausage and cheese. I plan to get the donut and the biscuit next time! So good! You have to order at the counter and the line is always long primarily because of them making coffees. You can order ahead which I recommend but while you are waiting it is fun to look in the window and watch them baking all those delicious treats!

I'm not normally a fan of a more dense kind of donut but the brioche donuts were to die for!!!! They were SO yummy, light, flavorful and overall 10/10. We picked them up and brought them home for our group to enjoy. Everyone loved!

Cute and quaint little bakery not far from the SSI airport. My sister heard of this place from a local so we knew it had to be good. We got there before 9 and thankfully beat the rush (there was a line out the door after we got there. They a small patio area to eat, couches, chairs, tables and a bar area. It's mostly donuts but they have biscuits too. I ordered a cat head biscuit, sugar brioche and coffee. The cat head biscuit has cheddar, jalapeños and bacon in it. It was good but needed to be warmed up. The sugar brioche was dough-licious! Very thiiiiick, easy to pull apart and just the right amount of sugar. I would certainly recommend the sugar brioche donuts and any variation of them there. The coffee was meh. I did just the drip coffee but just wasn't my thing. Would certainly recommend this place for your donut fix!

This place is quite the treat! All of the pastries are out of this world and the biscuits are crazy delicious! Pro tip... order ahead so you get what you want because it goes fast! Love the service and the aesthetic of the interior is great! Definitely gives off happy vibes!

Dough my goodness, this place is fantastic! I absolutely love the decor and the feel of the space and they have the best logo. We went on a Saturday morning and there was a good sized line to order. If there had been menus available other than one at the register, things might have moved a little faster but the doughnuts were in a glass case so you can visually pick what you want. They do offer a few hot savory items as well as coffee. They have a special house blend roasted by Wake Up Coffee. I chose a Berliner (raspberry jam filled) and a Boston cream and an iced caramel latte. The doughnuts are in the top three of the best I've ever had. The dough is tender, airy and flavorful and really makes the filling shine. Coffee was very good and they used what appeared to be home made caramel in it. I wish I had gone back to get a few to take home before we left the island.

There was a huge line out into the parking lot and now I know why. DE-LISH!!! My friend & I were looking for a coffee and something sweet. So we had to go find out what the action was all about. This cute spot that looks like it used to be a house, has a cute front porch that offers a charming place to enjoy your morning. Inside this quirky, mid-century modern decor was quite a surprise. Each room offered cute details to check out while you wait in line. The staff were a group of young kids working their summer jobs. They were all very sweet and kept their cool in such a busy situation. Oh my!! Our pastries were better than I could have imagined. They were soft and gooey. The flavors were light and blended beautifully. My friend's savory biscuit looked great and she loved it. I wish I lived on the island so I could stop by often.

E X P E R I E N C E great little Cafe area. very retro decor. great to chat and hang out. definitely an older building we came in on a Sunday 1230pm to order take out. we were not greeted by any servers. we walked up to the to go counter and waited for someone to come help us. maple bacon brioche cream cheese cinnamon roll breading was airy but it was dry; the flavor was decent. nothing to write home about. there's potential but compared to other bakeries, I'd say this is a solid 2/5. definitely not the best we've ever had PS they have a la Maazocco coffee machine! great for the coffee connoisseurs! the two ladies in the back, prepping the dough and baking the pastries seemed so kind. they were chatting with each other happily. when we walked around and peaking into their work space, they were so quick to mouth hi while continuing to work. Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! We got breakfast to go plus a caramel oat milk latte and hot chocolate! The ambiance is super cute and the items for sale are fun! The service was friendly and kind! Every bite was phenomenal! That breakfast sandwich is one of the best I've ever eaten, so delicious! A must stop by place when on the island!

This place. Holy mother of deliciousness! The cat head biscuit with sausage gravy is something I'm going to be truly sad when I think of it next and start drooling.......and then remember that I live 5 hours away. One of the best I've EVER had, and the crispy bacon on the bottom of the biscuit was simply divine. We got some donuts to take with us, and my guy told me that his was delicious. Taking the rest home to my 10 year old connoisseur of fried sweets. The place and the service were absolutely charming as well and I'm truly sad that it's so far away because I would be here every week!

Awesome donuts and cinnamon rolls but terrible service. We were on Saint Simons last week and couldn't wait for them to open on Wednesday. We got in and ordered a couple of coffees and donuts and it literally took 10 minutes for the woman to figure out how to place our order. She asked us multiple times what we wanted. Despite the bad service, we came back the next day and got coffee and cinnamon donuts which are amazing. Again, service incredibly slow. We wanted to come back our last day on Friday and when I walked in they were five people online. I didn't have half an hour to wait for a cuppa coffee and a doughnut. That's literally how long it tookand they need to get their act together

Arrived right before noon and still had some doughnuts to choose from. Very clean and organized showcase and cute dining area. Friendly and welcoming staff. To the right of counter, window to watch bakers work with dough and making yummy creations. Some would say the doughnuts are priced high but it reflects the quality of fresh baked goods and worth every penny! I'd take Quality over quantity any day!

Wow!!!! I literally inhaled my maple brioche donut!! When I came in they literally sold the last few and when I asked if they would have more the chef in the back needed me and told the staff there were more coming out. The staff repeated it. The staff is friendly and very attentive! The donut was awesome!! It is a brioche style which means it's not as dense as a cake donut and the inside is more like a croissant! It reminds me of the cronuts sold in NYC. But this was better!! When it came out it was still warm and it was bathed in the maple glaze. I am going to have to control myself because I could see me eating 2 or 3 by myself since they are so light! I won't be able to limit myself next time. They had at least 8 varieties of donuts, fresh brooch rolls and biscuits! I'm going to be here to try all of them!!

Easily the best donuts I've had in my life. It's airy and fluffy and perfect. The sausage egg and cheese biscuit was equally as amazing. It's a must try when on the island!

I would wait in a box with a fox in the snow at 20 below for these donuts. I don't dream about sugar plum fairies but I do dream about dulce dough. Donuts so tender and just sweet enough that you will fall in love too.

Delicious biscuits and donuts. Biscuit was perfect mix of crispy edges and fluffy inside. Bacon was crispy and egg was hot. Highly recommend.

Well done - this was the best maple bacon donut I've ever had. And that really says something. I actually came here because the cinnamon rolls caught my eye on social media. They are as good as they look and that frosting is really something special. I'm regretting not coming here sooner, I will be going back the next (and our last day)!

This is a must when anywhere near SSI. The doughnuts are the best we have ever had. My husband and I got the maple bacon brioche and it was so fresh and soft. My husband also got the Cats Head biscuit and said it was amazingly fresh and would get a dozen himself next time to make eggs sandwiches with. Both our young boys got rolls, one the maple and the other the cream cheese, and they didn't talk the whole time eating them! I would definitely consider ordering ahead next time as the line was long by it was so worth it. Wake Up coffee is what they serve which is great as well and local to the island. Fun cute shop to eat in as well. We do look forward to coming back here our next time at SSI

This bakery was recommended by the owners of our rental place and wow were they right!!! My husband is a donut connoisseur and he couldn't believe how fantastic these donuts were!! Fantastic place, clean and great service!!!!! We will be back!

Well I'm speechless! I got the strawberries and cream brioche doughnut, while my Mom got the omelette and the maple bacon doughnut. The strawberries and cream doughnut was so delicious, it doesn't even deserve to only be called a meer doughnut!!! It was so good I bought another one!! Mom's omelette was fantastic as well. She said it was so fluffy it was melt in your mouth good!!! We will be back to pick up some in the morning on our way out of town to take to family and friends!!

Dulce is the cutest and most delicious bakery in the area. Ok, so we have only been here one weekend, and this bakery was delicious compared to other bakeries we have eaten at worldwide. They use many locally sourced supplies. They also only make enough for a day, so if they are out of your favorite thing, they ask you to be kind and try something new. We ordered our food the night before and set a pick-up time. It was all ready at the correct time and still warm when we got it back to our rental house. They also showed us kindness and called us as they wanted to confirm we had picked up our sweets. We ordered a combination of sweet and savory. There was the homer brioche donut. It looked so cute and smelled so good that my friend took a bite as soon as she got in the car. It was so tasty. The other donut was the bottom cream donut; also delicious. Then my other friend got a cinnamon roll. It was my favorite! The icing was cream-like on a carrot cake but not that sweet. It was so so good. Now for savory. Three of us order the spicy cheddar bacon cathead biscuit. One person got it with egg over medium and bacon, another with cream cheese, and I got it with gravy and an egg over easy. Of course, since our was a pick-up, it didn't come all cute like it would if we were in the restaurant, but everything was separate, so we could build it and therefore the biscuits were not soggy, but perfectly baked with a little crisp. I am not a huge fan is sausage, but I wanted gravy, and I was happy I got it. I could take out some of the sausages, and the gravy was very, very good with the spicy cheddar biscuit. One person ate the buttermilk biscuit with eggs and bacon. Yes, we, most of us, like bacon. The fifth person ate sausage, egg, and cheese on the brioche bun. It seems to melt into her mouth. She dreams about it almost as much as we dream about the spicy cheddar cathead biscuits.

Great doughnuts- they're very sweet so I tend to stick to the plain. The maple bacon is VERY smokey bacon flavored. It's just so incredibly busy that the store is packed with in-person customers and trying to focus on online orders! By the time you reach the counter, it's sometimes a "take what's left" situation. Incredibly cute store. Definitely order online- it's worth it!

Vacation week in St. Simon's and everyone recommended giving this place a try. We went mid-week and when we arrived they were all sold out. We decided to try again before heading back to Ohio. We arrived around 9:45 on a Saturday morning and there was a line out the door. We waited and it was WORTH THE WAIT! The best donuts I have had! I can see now why these sell out on a daily basis. This is must try place if you're in the St. Simon's area.

Dulce Dough is a special kind of place. Across from the Red Fern shopping plaza, this is a must stop whenever you're on SSI. Artisanal brioche donuts are just the kind of thing every island should have! As Stefan from SNL might say - this tiny donut shop offers everything. Inside the shop is a pretty blue quaint decor. They offer breakfast sandwiches and donuts. I have only sampled the donuts. My favorites of what I've had are the Berliner, a seasonal holiday favorite, vanilla, and early grey. They are light like you expect of brioche and very sweet on the lips like a donut should be. It's the perfect pasty if you arenot a donut purist. You can easily share one or have no regrets and enjoy your own. Hours, location and online ordering can be found on their website. Plan in advance because they are currently closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Best donuts and pastries ever. I've never had a donut taste better and I've had a lot of em. Everyone is nice and sometimes there's a long wait but that's only a testament to how flipping delicious their goodies are. Definitely go if you haven't.

Hands down the best donut Ive ever had. The donut is a brioche style pastry and the flavors really punch. Not overly sweet either which is nice but has the perfect balance. I cannot wait to go back for more!

Tucked away, across the street from Redfern Village is Dulce Dough Bakery. It is absolutely a fabulous place to go for a donut, quiche and brioches. I have never ordered anything there that I haven't loved. Even the location is relaxing and elegant. If you are visiting Saint Simon's Island, you have to stop by there at least once, if not more times.

The donuts are absolutely worth the line. I give 5-stars for the donuts, but the chai latte was terrible and they don't seem prepared for the number of patrons they get. Overall experience is a 3.5-4 star place.

This was an amazing place to visit, the aesthetics were great for what they where trying to do, quite enough to have long conversations with who ever your visiting with, and you can't go wrong with any food you order. The brioche donuts were even better than I imagined, highly recommended at least trying one.

Delicious delights with every bite. Recommend the cinnamon donut, for a fluffy pillow textured, perfect taste or if you want to get serious also try the cinnamon bun/roll with either vanilla or maple frosting. The late coffee was also perfect for contrast and complimentary of the palette. I had a vanilla. They offer breakfast type food also, heard the gravy and biscuits were the best for even those who typically don't eat this sort of thing. Go early to ensure they have what you want.

This bakery is the best breakfast bakery I have ever been to and as a traveller I have been to a lot! Everything I have tried is exceptional. My faves though are the pecan sticky buns and the jalapeño biscuit.

Truly delicious brioche donuts in an adorable and friendly setting - what more could you ask for? The cathead biscuit is life-changing. Don't let the price point discourage you, it's a total meal by itself. Seriously, kudos to the person who creates these. It's one of the best things I've ever eaten. The vanilla creme in the filled donuts is sublime - just like you would find in a fine French patisserie. The flavors of their items are all extremely well-balanced and you can tell carefully thought out. I appreciate the obvious care and attention to detail that goes into not only their product, but also the setting and decor of the bakery itself. This is the kind of place I would expect to see in a big city, SSI is fortunate to have such a great culinary experience!

We went Friday & Saturday last week, boodays to try something different. Friday we tried the biscuits which were amazing. Then we returned on Saturday to try the new blueberry gluten free options... We had awesome service both days, the staff was friendly and accommodating. They also were taking covid precaution by wearing masks. Definitely will be returning.

So delicious! The inside of the bakery smells absolutely amazing and the donuts taste great as well, the strawberry rhubarb jelly one was amazing. The earl grey donut and strawberry donuts were amazing as well. Such a cute little shop, definitely worth a stop!

Dulche Dough has the most tasty flavors and fresh ingredients I've ever tasted in a donut. Their quiche is really a wonderful. And don't forget to have some of their impeccable coffee! The staff and owner go all out for you! I love the decor and atmosphere in the restaurant. It makes me want to linger for a time. My favorite new spot for a breakfast treat. Get there early!

Best donuts on the island! My husband and I also like to get their Vanilla Latte's when we go and those are always great. Cute place to sit inside and enjoy eating all the yummy food! We love coming to Dulce Dough every time we visit St. Simons. Highly Recommend!!
