This spot is amazing!! 🙌🏽🔥🎉 I love that everything is made fresh, no dairy in the Italian ice, and the atmosphere is fun and upbeat! It’s a great spot to grab dessert and relax with bangin’ tunes! I cannot recommend this spot enough! You gotta go!

At the time of posting my review every other review is 5 stars for a reason! My friend and I tasted almost every flavor and they were all amazing. The owner was very kind and helpful. In addition to the Italian ice/ice cream we got the pomegranate lemonade which was recommended by the owner. It was exactly what we needed on a hot day!

Delicious and refreshing treat with flavors that everyone will love. My family of 5 stopped in today and we loved our ices! I'm particularly a fan of the strawberry and passion fruit Italian ice!! The service was great and they were so accommodating to us trying some flavors before making a decision. The space is cute and welcoming and we will absolutely be back!

Perfect for a hot day! I got the Limon flavor which was super refreshing and flavorful. I also tried the tamarind flavor and that one was great too! The texture of the Italian ice was on point. I really liked it, my only issue is the price. At $6 per scoop or $10 for two, it's a pricey option for dessert. Though my single scoop was quite generous, it would've been nice to have two flavors and get a half scoop of each. Service was quick and kind. Recommend if you're in the area!

Dulce Frida has always been on my list places I wanted to go to back they only had a food truck. Now that it's in south Austin I was finally able to go and it did not disappoint! All the flavors we tried were absolutely delicious. It's surprising that there's little to no dairy, considering how smooth and creamy it is. We met the owner and he was so passionate about his business. We're excited to go back and can't wait to see this business grow!

Really good ices! Different than regular ice cream, imagine ice cream and a sno-cone blended together. The horchata was unique and refreshing especially on a hot summer day! The coconut was really nice with little flakes embedded too! And the way the horchata blended with the coconut was nice! Great combo! Cool owner! Really like their story of starting with a little cart and moving their way up to their first brick-and-mortar.

Incredible Italian ice and even better service. Francisco is the owner and you can immediately tell he's the real deal. This is a true local run business and he makes sure it's the highest quality experience and product. This is my new favorite over ice cream.

Perfect sweet treat on a hot TX day! Dulce Frida's first brick and mortar location. The Italian ice style dessert is smooth and full of flavor. Got the limon, pineapple, and blue raspberry -- all three were good but I really liked the tang of the limon. Friendly and quick service. Cute interior with several tables and seats.

Please support this amazing business! My mother and I came in this evening after a walk. We didn't want ice cream but wanted a treat and I drive by this location weekly so I thought it would be the perfect time to stop in. I was NOT disappointed! Francisco the owner was so sweet and made the experience memorable. I got a 3 scoop of coconut, horchata and passion fruit. My mom had cherry and mango. I've never had such a creamy Italian ice and I look forward to coming back. It sounds like there are several new flavors in the works in addition to churros and coffee. They also have a room for birthday parties (theme will be Pixar's COCO). Can't wait to see this business thrive!

Omg COME HERE! All the flavors are yummy, and the sweet owner lets you try whichever ones you want before you buy. Great service. They just opened this location, but they've been in business since 2020 and it's easy to see why they've had success. It's fresh, it's delicious, and the flavors are not what you'd expect in an italian ice shop in the best way. You can even buy bigger containers of the gelato to take home. Clean space, too. All in all, great place that needs WAY more love! GET THE CHAMOY+LIMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exploring Austin while visiting my son and we picked a random place to get a cold treat after a hot day of walking. Luckily found this place which was not only a charming entrance, but absolutely friendly and great service. We tried a few flavor samples and were sold. Loved each on of our Italian ice flavor combos, recommended by the server. Comfy little place to sit. Highly recommend!!
