Hidden gem! This tiny cafe packs a big punch with its warm welcome, lovely staff, and adorable desserts. The matcha treats are super yummy! Cozy vibes and good energy make it a must-visit spot. Perfect for a sweet treat and chill time!

Visited dulcet cafe this year because I wanted to treat my mum to a nice surprise for Mother’s Day and what better gift to get her then a cake 🍰 Dulcet always delivers in terms of presentation and taste with their chiffon cakes so I tried their special blueberry coconut chocolate chiffon cake and it tasted absolutely divine. We actually ended up eating the entire thing in two days between my family of four because it was that good. It’s not super sweet which I love and u can taste the hint of coconut in the cream. I loved their choice of fresh fruit as well and the fact that they had customisable cookies for all the different mums out there was really thoughtful. Im glad I ended up gifting this to my mum as seeing her reaction was priceless. For more honest reviews be sure to follow along my food journey @munchies_with_angie!

The matcha and hojicha had a mild, pleasant aroma but lacked strong tea intensity. The drinks weren’t sweet, though syrup was provided for those who prefer added sweetness. As for the matcha crepe cake, it wasn’t overly sweet, making it easy to enjoy. The texture was soft and delicate—light and pleasant to eat.

Friendly staff and love their cakes. They have their limited edition cake, strawberry melt. It is super fluffy and highly recommended. Strawberry lover you’ll definitely love it.

The Mont Blanc was beyond excellent. Hojicha Latte was on point! Little side cafe at Kinokuniya, but with the cutest Jap offering! Thank you. We will be back!

Very pleasant iced matcha latte. Not the strongest matcha taste, but enjoyable enough. Location is very nice just after the kinokuniya book store entry, some table and counter seating available, even very convenient bag hooks. I would like to come back and try the soft serves 💚

At the top of galleries in the city, within Kinokuniya is a small café! They have a range of chiffon cake, breads and sweets, they also have some Japanese inspired drinks. Strawberry Chiffon is amazing and their Mont Blanc is creamy, makes my day happy 😊 Their coffee is also good, definitely not as amazing the grounds downstairs but it’s also decent and their barista is very creative with his coffee art! Which I really appreciate, it lighten things up. There’s seats, usually a wait but you’ll be able to sit and enjoy your cake or drinks inside. Seating is not very comfortable, so not recommended for a large group. If you’ll like to share with a large group I’d suggest buying a whole cake - which I did for my mother’s birthday last year - it’s great for sharing!!

I visited Dulcet Cakes & Sweets at The Galeries and fell in love with their Christmas collection! I tried the Raspberry Matcha Cheese Tart, and it was exceptional. I’m not a dessert person, but this tart changed my mind—it’s perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with a soft texture. The raspberry and matcha flavors blend harmoniously, making it the ideal dessert for a Christmas picnic, family gathering, or even a birthday celebration during the holiday season. Highly recommend checking out their festive cakes—they’re as delicious as they are adorable!
