Where to Make a Meal Out of Nachos in D.C.

"Dulcinea’s nachos hold down the fort with all the classic toppings (beans, cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapenos, salsa and queso fresco all come standard). Try some with chorizo for a spicy bonus or al pastor pork for an atypical combo." - Tajha Lanier, Travis Mitchell

Best Mexican food hands down in the DMV area! It's small but mighty. The flavors! Great Margaritas too! Staff is very polite and the orders didn't take long at all. We really enjoy ourselves there and will always choose Dulcinea first! Yum!!! 😋😋😋

The food was amazing.👌🏽The yuca had Old Bay spice on them. The mole chicken has a nice char from the grill with delicious rice and beans. The al pastor tacos were great as well. We will definitely be coming back.

Wow, i was tasked with finding decent Mexican food in the area and didn't have high hopes. Stumbled across this place and was pleasantly surprised by the high ratings. Walking up to it we kept second guessing ourselves as it isn't in the best part of town and almost looks like a townhouse. We ordered, i had a chimichanga and she had a burrito, and the portions were huge! Taking a bite of my food i was stunned, it was amazing. Easily among the best Mexican food in DC. I highly recommend this place, the service is great and they're very friendly. Well priced too especially for the portions.

Probably the best Mexican food we've ever had. This was our first meal in DC, and by far the best. We made it our last meal too after a week of good eats. The bartender/server we had both times made this a 6-star experience. Never got his name but he was a late 30/early 40 something Mexican guy who was friendly, funny, and personable. Couldn't ask for a better employee.

Honest, hard-working restaurant serving up incredible Mexican food. Expertly made dishes with a relaxed atmosphere, and it's right next door to a few very... "mellow" places. A great pairing on any April 20th (or any other day). You owe it to yourself to grab something to go, walk or ride to any scenic nearby view, and dig in. Their tacos are great, but you really can't go wrong. Howard students and alumni probably have this place in their contacts on their phone, and if they don't, that's a crime.

The margarita was great and so was the food. I had a salmon salad with grilled vegetables. Sitting out on the patio on a warm Sunday afternoon in D.C., the tables are set at a good socially distanced space. The server was so nice and very attentive. I enjoyed it so much I returned on Tuesday and did it all over again.
