"Uptown village family favorite, Dulin’s, offers all-day breakfast including omelets, French toast, pancakes, and Irish banger sausage, plus hot coffee and cocktails served in big cozy booths. The kids’ menu features breakfast dishes like scrambled eggs with potatoes and pancakes with bacon, as well as lunch options like grilled cheese and halibut fish and chips. When it comes to beverages, kids can treat themselves to an Italian soda or hot cocoa." - Rachel Pinsky

Google
Thoroughly enjoy finding an adorable, delicious and easy menu where the locals eat. Dulin’s offers a very “Irish heavy” menu, but also some diner staples such as burgers and omelettes. I settled on the Cobb salad that my waiter, Tim, recommended and it did not disappoint.

We were there on a weekend so it was pretty busy. Unfortunately (who appeared to be the shift manager) seemed very stressed and policing the door waiting space over providing a more welcoming experience. Outside of that part of our experience…the menu was robust and had great options. Our server did a great job accommodating our dietary needs.

A few of our group arrived just a couple of minutes ahead of us and had to wait to check in until everyone was there. Once everyone arrived, we waited outside because of the lack of space. I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to get people seated, especially if they are drinking. Food and drinks were very well done, and portions are appropriate for the price. I would have definitely been back for the food. Wait staff interactions are awkward throughout the meal and lack explanation on policies for payment. Apparently, one of the policies is to only allow two credit cards per group of people no matter how large the group. We had a group of seven people with a clear split of who was with who. Once asked to split the check was when we were informed of the policy. Once asked for an explanation when a table of two could use two cards but why we couldn't use more than 2 cards(three in our case), we were deferred to the owner. The owner was hostile, belittling, and questioned why we didn't ask about their policy. Saying that she would have to raise prices if they had to split up a table more than twice and all of the other large groups always only pay with one card. This was definitely a rehearsed response. Because of this myself, family, and friends will no longer visit this establishment. Maybe you will have better luck. Just make sure you have cash, like we did, if you need to split the check more than twice and plan to use a card.

Food was so good! I had the waffle special and my husband had the Dublin. Both were amazing!! We will definitely be back.

Our family of 4 frequently has breakfast here on the weekends. It’s one sign of a good restaurant when there’s a bit of a wait. You’ll put your name in & they’ll hand you a pager. And when/if there is a wait - it’s usually not long (10-30 mins tops), plus there’s a cool antique store across the street to kill time at while you’re waiting for your pager to go off. The staff are ALL hustling around turning tables over to keep things rolling. The weekend specials are awesome - the hubs always enjoys the crab benedict (a hearty amount of crab, and the cooks really know how to poach eggs correctly). So many delicious choices on the menu, I really enjoy the huevos rancheros, Santa Fe omelet (a rotating special), or the chicken pita sandwich. The kids enjoy French toast, or pancakes, or waffles, and eggs & bacon. Everything is really fresh & flavorful. Great portion sizes & it comes out fast! Again, all staff are moving around refilling cold & hot beverages, & checking in to see how your meal is. They are the perfect amount of attentive. It’s a clean & cozy little Cafe with great natural lighting too. Tim, Char, Lacey, Hunter, Clara, Audriana, Jesse, & all the behind-the-scenes chef/cook staff - thank you - we always enjoy our weekend meal at Dulin’s!

Google
We tried the Dulin's Cafe for the third time today. We've really tried to like this place over the past couple years. Unfortunately, they just can't get it right. The Traditional Breakfast is the easiest thing to make, one would thing. Eggs, toast, potatoes, meat. No frills, nothing fancy. Unfortunately, the meal was a bust again today. First, the eggs... I had to pick egg shell out of my breakfast, twice. Ordered poached eggs but ended up with hard boiled covered in egg shell. English Muffin was so dry, it was inedible. The ham was fine, but the potatoes were just blah. No taste, no flavor, no seasoning. This is unfortunate, as their service and atmosphere are pretty solid for this part of downtown Vancovuer. The waitress was pleasant and the pricing is on-point. The food is just less than mediocre and leaves no desire to return. Hopefully they can secure a better kitchen staff that can bring their A-game and change it up to a better menu. A menu change isn't necessary if they can just cook what is on their menu, well. Good luck but we won't be back anytime soon.

French toast and Egg Benedict are great! Coffee is fresh, crews are kind and generous. Facility is clean and organized.

Google
Fast service and the food was great, best fruit cup I have seen probably ever for a restaurant. The crab eggs Benedict was great

Yelp
This is the second time we've enjoyed a yummy breakfast while in Vancouver! The service is great, everyone is warm and smiling. I enjoyed the veggie Benedict with avocado, spinach and tomato with a side of crispy potatoes. I especially love the local Silagy brand hot sauces; I stopped by the local market to pick up a few bottles ! :-) Tip- this is a busy spot, if you have to wait be sure to visit the antique shop across the street, lots of interesting finds.

Kelsie D.

Yelp
Yummy food and very reasonable prices! Was seated quickly and staff was friendly. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and it was so good! Not greasy, just the right amount of sauce and the meat was cut nice and thin. Very yummy! Would definitely come back again and try other items.

Wendell R.

Yelp
Dulin's is a nice spot to grab a tasty sandwich or upscale lunch item. The environment is clean and not really busy. This doesn't mean it doesn't serve good food. Check out Dulin's the next time you're n the area.

Rymn P.

Yelp
Loved it! What a great first experience. Coming back! The Couve is so lucky to have this great spot.

Sofia L.

Yelp
So yum, Irish stews so good too makes me happy. Sausages are the only thing that's so funny to me. People are so nice with great lighting to look at my food

Mac M.

Yelp
Really good breakfast potato dish. Place was busy and server didn't take our order as fast as we would have liked but the food was worth the wait.

Mateo L.

Yelp
My wife and I had a fantastic breakfast at Dulin's Village Cafe this morning! The Denver omelette I ordered was spot on--perfectly cooked, packed with fresh ingredients, and so flavorful. My wife had the Eggs Benedict, and it was exceptional. The eggs were poached to perfection, and the bacon was just the right amount of crispy and deliciously savory. Everything tasted fresh, and the attention to detail really showed. Our fruit cups were super fresh and beautifully arranged. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made it a perfect start to our day. We'll definitely be back! This is certainly one of our favorite breakfast places in all of Vancouver!

John W.

Yelp
Amazing, fresh, quality food and very reasonable prices. While it may take a moment to get a table, you'll quickly find the wait was well worth it. You can tell the staff enjoys working there.

Beverly C.

Yelp
Love the food here. Last time we had Omelets, fresh fruit and lattes. So delicious and eye pleasing. Service was fast and courteous.

Brian P.

Yelp
I only come here once a year but the food is always excellent and the service is consistently stellar. Pictured is the specialty southwestern omelette stuffed with chicken, cheese and hatch green peppers, covered in pico, verde, sour cream, all served with the side of perfectly done potatoes.

Gary P.

Yelp
I had the special for breakfast, the crab and spinach Benedict. Outstanding. Fresh, hot, and the hollandaise sauce is fantastic. So how can they mess up breakfast potatoes so badly? They arrived on the same plate and were cold. They appeared to have an herb seasoning, but no flavor...and certainly not salted. I tried slathering them in butter, but the butter wouldn't even melt. I mentioned that to my server, and another plate of hot potatoes showed up in record time. And the plate was hot as well. Microwaved? Put into the oven? Pre-made and not fresh? All of these questions and the fact that they came out dry and unseasoned again made me forget about my wonderful Benedict! Potatoes! So many other places get this right. Toss with some olive oil or butter and season, and maybe sprinkle with parmesan. Service was great, I had Lacey, and she understood my concerns and assisted as best she could. I never say never and am willing to try again, but it's the small details that need attention sometimes. Potatoes don't have to be a "filler" and can actually add to the dining experience.

Yelp
We used to go to Dulin's when it was at the old location. it was our 2nd time at the Main St location. We went for breakfast. Positive - The wait staff was very friendly and efficient. The food was served promptly and the coffee was good. Not so Positive - We ordered El Paso Omelet and Dulin's Irish Potato plate with eggs. There was a ton of food. The omelet was surprisingly not at all spicy, it was very bland and the beans obviously came from a can. The potatoes had no flavor as well. The eggs were barely cooked - and there was way too much cheese. I didn't think that would ever happen! The peppers were not hot or even spicy as advertised on the menu. We paid $40 for 2 very bland breakfasts. This restaurant will not be our first choice for breakfast the next time we go out.

Flory W.

Yelp
We stopped there because it's a place where we could park for free on a side street. We were going to dine at a restaurant by the waterfront, and hungry for some seafood soup, but Irish Stew sounds appealing right now, and this restaurant appealed to us, and it had 4 YELP RATING, that's a bonus! Hubby ordered the Reuben Sandwich with a side of Potato Salad. The sandwich was a classic and tasted delicious! The salad was unusual but also very very good. I ordered Turkey Club and it comes with a side of Irish Stew. They fixed it exactly how I like the club and the bacon was excellent & crispy, not soggy and raw like I've had in some restaurants (perfect for Filet Mignon lovers, but I like my bacon crispy, and they did that for me). We also got an extra serving of Irish Stew, with no extra charge! Did they know we were craving for some soup, and we shared the first one and took the other for the next meal (since we both left half of our sandwiches for the next meal). Our to-go order was ready in 10 mins. as promised! The staff was friendly. Negative: They didn't provide us with to-go utensils and napkins. Luckily, we always bring our picnic supplies but we have to share a spoon, since hubby usually don't order soup to go. I would really like to come back here in March!

Yelp
Dulins is one of those places that you have to either go early to get a table or be ok with waiting 20+ mins in a crowded entryway/sitting outside in the cold. Me? I knew this and went at lunch time on a flippin Saturday, anyway. Guess what happened? We waited, 20+ mins. Outside. In the cold. I had just come from getting my nails done, I was wearing my finest pair of what they call flip flops here. I almost lost all my toes to frostbite. Thankfully I didn't, would have been a shame considering I just dropped $$$ to get those puppies polished up and painted. And now we are inside, they have a table for 3 -- woohoo! I immediately ask for a loaded Bloody Mary for myself and partner gets an Irish Coffee, kiddo gets a root beer. All is well. We order food quickly! Although our server definitely has less personality than a pet rock. That's ok though, I can overlook this because the food and the drinks were great. I mean, the Bloody Mary wasn't as good as Shanahans (if you dunno about their Bloody Mary bar on the weekends, you are losing out, friend) but it was pretty tasty still! Partner likes the Irish Coffee and kid reported the Root Beer was amazing (idk but whatever, it's fine). The food though -- I got Irish Potatoes with black beans and cheese and added a couple sausage Pattie's, and then I about died and went to heaven only returning to mourn the fact that I forgot to add over easy eggs to my dish. Well now I gotta go back and try it with the eggs. Kid reported the pancake was "mmmm good" and we all loved the bacon because, well, it was delicious bacon. Partner got a daily special, some kind of omelette with shredded chicken and cheese and pico de gallo ("very onion heavy") and he said he thought it was good, packed a nice punch as far as the spice level went. Idk. I was too busy in heaven with my Bloody Mary and Irish Taters. So! In summary, this place was great, just go early and never forget to add eggs!! :)

Zoe M.

Yelp
Skip the new waterfront restaurants and bring yourself and guests to Dulin's. Consistently good breakfasts now with espresso offerings with oat, almond or soy milk. Fruit cup is a steal for $1.50 - nice presentation, fresh & tasty. Omelets, huevos rancheros & eggs Benedict were all delicious. Arrived before 9:30am on Sunday and had a short 10 min wait or so. Restaurant is open and quite loud but we were able to converse fine. 5 stars all around.

R.L. C.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastically good and great service! A 10 on the "For the love of Pete" FTLOP scale!

Julie N.

Yelp
I love this place ! The egg benedicts are so bomb!!! Sucks we live in California and only rarely get to come here but it is one of the must haves when we're in Portland!

Kelsie B.

Yelp
Food was great. My husband says it's the best burger he's ever had. Irish soup was delicious. Casual diner ambience, loud atmosphere so made it great with my kids. Service was good. Seems to be busy on Sunday mornings and we had a short wait.

Lisa M.

Yelp
Totally overpriced ... not that good... Might be better but not in Vancouver WA... Sorry.....

stephanie b.

Yelp
Great experience! Very popular and a long wait. Located in uptown Vancouver. The neighborhood is filling in with great restaurants and pubs. Great Irish twist on basic breakfast items. Huge portions.

Shelly L.

Yelp
I was looking for a light lunch, stopped in Dulin's. I had the turkey club on croissant and a side salad with balsamic vinaigrette. This was definitely one of the best turkey sandwiches I've ever had in my life! Not exaggerating! I highly recommend stopping in for lunch, their breakfast menu looks amazing, the bakery items looked really great, I will most definitely be back, and very soon!

Noelle H.

Yelp
What a waste of time and money! First off I just have to note that we are black. When we walked in everyone stared at us-we are from Seattle and are not used to this. The food was terrible!!! Bland, unseasoned and strange. The pancakes were spicy-cinnamon and some other terrible flavors. The huevos rancheros were also bland and had too much salsa and cheddar cheese. The worst thing was probably the fact that we were offered a kids menu despite the obvious fact that we had a kid with us. When I asked why we didn't get a kids menu the waiter said "I didn't know". Didn't know that my 7-year-old is a child? The micro aggression was noted and I do not recommend this place. I cannot figure out why so many people wanted to eat at an overpriced cafe that services canned beans and frozen potatoes. I can do so much better at home.

Beth K.

Yelp
Went in today. Waitress looked like she would like to kill me Swung the coffee pot onto my book wetting it down. she said, bluntly, or it's dry. It was ruined, in fact. There was no apology. Turns out she was the owner. Then, when I said it might have been better if I didn't have the book on the table, she told me not to come back. What a sweetie. This is a true story.

Terrance S.

Yelp
I really like the location and ambiance. The food choices are fresh and there are plenty of healthy options. The staff has been warm and inviting during my visits and it feels like a neighborhood eatery in a small town. I love that feeling. You should definitely give it a try when in the area, as it's an overall great place.

Jerry M.

Yelp
Took my son to breakfast for his 55th birthday!! What a treat. Variety of breakfast entrees. Service was excellent and the place was spotless!! Can't wait to go back.

Karen S.

Yelp
Took my niece for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised with the ambiance and the friendly greeting. Our server was fabulous and the food was delicious. We even splurged on a latte and it was very good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Bryan M.

Yelp
I really like the idea of this place. It's a nice little breakfast spot. Staff is nice. They have quick service. If you do not like loud establishments my suggestion is to find a different spot. Difficult to hear folks talk here. This place could use more sound panels on the walls or ceiling if it's not against fire code. The two times I came here I tried different items each time. The second time I got French toast probably the worst French toast I've had. Super mediocre lacking flavor had a strange texture. Don't order the French toast. My wife and her friend got other items both they really enjoyed. Rancheros and eggs Benedict both said they were delicious. My first time here I got the megan's special which was a potato type of breakfast special which was extremely good probably one of my favorite breakfast meals I've had at a spot in a while. Looks like this spot is unclaimed but if the owner reads this, The bad French toast won't stop me from coming back just will order a different item. The noise on the other hand should be improved if it's not against fire code or too expensive to improve the noise levels. This place is still worth checking out as 3 out of 4 food items ordered I'd say are 5 out of 5 for a rating. Hope the French toast gets switched up.

Debbie G.

Yelp
Visiting from California & came upon this restaurant by accident. So glad we did because our food is amazing, especially the Irish stew! Ready to go back one more time before we head back to California. We will definitely come back the next time we're in v

Brittany G.

Yelp
We got here a few minutes before opening and they were right on time letting us in. We had a moment to review the menu so we knew what we wanted as we sat down. The waiter was super nice (I am sure this can be annoying as the staff is just starting). He was super nice and ready to take care of us. I don't eat a lot at once so I ordered to-go as to make it easier for when we left. We had the crab eggs Benedict (omg) and the Dublin. My fiancé and I have widely varying tastes both were both exceedingly happy with our food (I like d the Dublin as well even though corned beef hash isn't my favorite so this was a GREAT surprise) My mimosa was perfectly made - I am particular Sorry photos are not the best - we were eager ‍ Service was welcoming! Food and presentation was lovely! We will be back and definitely recommend

Devon P.

Yelp
The few times I've gone to Dulin's for brunch/lunch have been absolutely wonderful. Their servers are incredibly friendly and the food always hits the spot. I also love the diversity of their menu and they seem to always have unique specials on the board. If you can't tell from my pictures, I'm a big corned beef fan and the corned beef here is so tasty and tender. They have both a potato dish and of course a classic Reuben that taste amazing. Prices are average for brunch in this area, but in my opinion the quality of food is far better than a lot of the breakfast spots around town that will charge about the same. If you're downtown and looking for a great brunch or lunch, make sure to stop in to Dulin's!

S M.

Yelp
Awesome food and service. A bit of a wait usually, but there's a lot of shops to see on the street while you wait. Usually pretty busy.

Jacinto H.

Yelp
After 4 years of coming here, I now realize this is the best breakfast restaurant in Vancouver. Period!

Lynnette B.

Yelp
The food was great! And outstanding service. Stop by and enjoy. Had fish & chips and croissant club sandwich with Irish stew. 5 stars

Michael P.

Yelp
Dulin's is a great local breakfast spot right in downtown Vancouver. My wife and I have been here several times and have always enjoyed a good breakfast. I tried their Irish banger breakfast for the first time today as I've been searching for something that resembles a full English/Irish breakfast for a long time in the Portland/Vancouver area. My family is from the UK so I've visited often, but have struggled to find anything that closely resembles the meal here in the US. I have to say, Dulin's is the closest I've found thus far with a great sausage, roasted tomatoes, eggs and potatoes. Still missing the mushrooms and black pudding but extremely happy to know there's somewhere I can go locally when I have a little craving! Would definitely recommend Dulin's to any locals who haven't been yet or for those just passing through!

Scott C.

Yelp
Great food, great service, with great friends. The French Connection omelet was great, maybe could have used more bacon less onions but that's just me. Clean bright and friendly atmosphere. "Erin go bragh" (Ireland Forever)

Kathy B.

Yelp
I ordered the French connection omelette and a chai latte. I inhaled the chai latte! It tasted so good. The best part of the omelette was the Brie cheese. The Brie cheese melted and created a smooth texture in your mouth. It was almost like a sauce. The chai latte was very milk-y and well made. The top layer was a very thick foam. The server was very friendly. My friend ordered the croissant and mentioned that it tasted very good due to its buttery-ness. There is street parking behind the establishment. I really enjoyed the decor as well. They have these three paintings hanging on the wall that are curated in such a great way. The price of the menu items are reasonable. The portion-size also wasn't massive. However, my friend and I were able to share the entree with me.

Lisa B.

Yelp
The food was amazing. The Bloody Mary here is definitely one of the best on the left coast. All of us enjoyed our breakfast. We purchased the Serrano Sauce so that we could have it at home. This sauce is so tasty and versatile! Next we in Vancouver you can be sure that we will be stopping by!

Samuel M.

Yelp
I've lived in Vancouver all my life and have eaten at probably every breakfast place and this one is by far my favorite. Not only is the food delicious but the service is what really makes it great. I would recommend ordering a breakfast sandwich. It isn't on their menu but they have the best one in town! All the other food I've had was fantastic as well, you can't go wrong.

Cathy H.

Yelp
Service is super friendly. Food is great. Cute place. Mimosa's fun to share with friends!

Mark B.

Yelp
What a great spot! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. This place is an adorable little diner that is a must visit! I almost never trek across the river to Vancouver, but decided to do so because those in my party didn't want to wait in a long queue for a table for weekend brunch. I almost hesitate to write such a positive review to keep this gem a secret. Alas, that would be a selfish act and I am above it, hehehe. Anyway, on to the most important part ... food! Coffee was excellent. The special: shared eggs bene with crab and asparagus, and a Belgian waffle with my partner. All was fresh and made to order, served with a genuine smile (which is something I'd forgotten existed with my usual experience with bitchy, hipster, SE Portland service). All of this and the price wasn't even shocking upon receiving the bill. Thank you to the staff who set the positive mood of a beautiful sunny day of hiking, afterwards. I truly appreciate you! :)

Whitney P.

Yelp
They are busy every weekend for lunch/brunch, so expect a wait (usually 30+ minutes). They have benches outside for waiting, which is great during warm weather, but on weekends, brrrrrrrr! One thing we enjoy about having brunch in downtown Vancouver instead of Portland is FREE PARKING on the weekends. Although street parking in this neighborhood can be challenging during peak times like brunch and happy hour. We've been here 3 times with 2-4 people at our table. Each time, service has been good, the food is prepared fast, and the food is good comfort food. Because they are busy and only open for breakfast/lunch, they will "rush" you to place your order and there's a time limit on how long you can eat/be at the table. Usually, that's not a big deal, but they are very pushy (borderline rude) about it. (The owner, not the servers) We tried a few different items on the menu. I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict and the Pancakes.

Sunrise O.

Yelp
Their pancakes are delicious. They are unique in that they have maybe cinnamon in them. I am not sure what spice but it is subtle and good.

Jenny X.

Yelp
This place has a decent food selection and a nice casual ambiance! Came here on a Sunday morning for brunch with no reservation. Food: I got the eggs Benedict here and I think that it was decent the home fries are pretty good but the sauce on the eggs Benedict was sort of strange in the sense that it had a somewhat unusual aftertaste. The texture in the flavor of the rest of the eggs Benedict was really good though so maybe it was just me not being used to the taste. Service: The service here is actually quite good, the waiters checked up on us frequently and helped us get more ketchup when we ran out. Ambiance: Typical brunch spot! Super casual and seemed to be bustling with people coming in and out all morning. Overall this place is close to where I live and a nice quaint brunch spot but I'd want to try more food in the area before coming back.

Ada M.

Yelp
This is definitely a popular breakfast place. We waited for a bit, because it was crowded and alive. It's a nice little place that feels very homey and comforting. When I give it 3 stars I mean that as it's an average place. It's good but not anything special. It's like moms pretty good homemade food. I would come here again though because of the chill laidback home vibes.

Sky H.

Yelp
Casual, consistent, often a bit of a wait at peak times, simple ambiance, casual friendly service, 90% of the time everything is great 10% it's good. Never bad that I can recall, and if it was I'm confident it was handled professionally and quickly resolved. A great way to start the day.

Cindy N.

Yelp
Excellent food and outstanding service we went for late breakfast . The green salsa on the table was so good too

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Always busy here and now I know why! Great pricing for staple favorites. Bright, happy atmosphere. Can't wait to go again. Really good deals and tasty meals

Chris R.

Yelp
Delicious food served with kindness. Will definitely be back. I had the Juevos Rancheros and it was amazing. The server was kind and courteous. Took a little while but it was packed so that's understandable. It's the oldest diner in Vancouver so you know they know their stuff. Highly recommend them.

Roydn B.

Yelp
A very nice place. Good food, great service. I enjoyed the Cobb salad. I will definitively return.
