Where to eat and drink in Duluth’s Lincoln Park - Eater Twin Cities

"There’s also Duluth Cider to make a stop inside. Food trucks serve here, but outside food is welcome. Spicy, hearty things pair wonderfully with the gluten-free cider made entirely with local apples. This cidery is run by a married couple who first met in Duluth before heading out around the world, and working at a cidery in Boston before Lake Superior called them back." - Joy Summers

Google
I love visiting this street in Duluth because of the two cideries and a brewery right in a line. Duluth Cider has some really unique flavors that aren't all fruit-forward. In the fall and winter I love the options with warming spices. They have a super cozy indoor space and some nice spots outside. I was super happy to see Crow & Co. Booksellers there last time I stopped in!

Google
I LOVE ciders, and this place is heaven! Traveled 4.5 hours to try it out! Totally worth it. I definitely brought a bunch to take home! They have a cider for any taste from sweet, to dry! I was so nervous to try the coffee cider, it was NOTHING like i excepted. It was light, crisp, sweet and fantastic! Literally a coffee cider, amazing! I'll definitely be coming back to restock! 100000000/10!!

Google
Great cidery, plenty of options, dry and sweet, for flights and pours - something for every palate! Especially enjoyed the unique coffee cider, Las Lajas.

Google
I’m not a huge beer fan so a little disappointed they didn’t have a seltzer option like most breweries do today. They had a coffee infused cider that I ended up trying. It was pretty sweet for my liking. I don’t think cider was meant to be infused with coffee.

Google
Excellent craft ciders, with a wide variety from sweet to dry. Flavored, spiced, and my preference, pure dry cider. The barrel aged in cognac barrels was very interesting. Superior Dry is an everyday sipper. They had 2 hopped ciders, both apple forward without the hops overpowering them. They added something, and paired well with stir fry noodles. You're allowed to bring your own food (I did). Friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Google
The ciders were excellent! Each of them had unique flavor and were well crafted ! I highly recommend the coffee flavored one, I know it sounds weird, but it works ! The service was friendly, professional, and efficient! I would gladly go back if I was in the area again. I don't think they serve any food but they were okay with us bringing food from the outside.

Google
Absolutely amazing experience. Plenty of seating, plenty of different styles of cider to choose from, plenty of different flavors to experience. The stand-out was definitely Greenstone (hopped, semi-dry)-- bright, crisp, effervescent spring in a pint. We spent 6 hours here-- probably would have stayed longer, but we had a long drive ahead of us.

Google
Fun space, great flight presentation, and lots of cider variety! Especially nice to enjoy on the patio. :) Thanks!

Yelp
I love this cidery! There is so much seating, they do trivia on Monday nights and it just has a great space to socialize and drink some cider. They have so many options for ciders they're sure there's one for you.

Yelp
Definitely worth a visit. Friendly service, a warm and relaxed taproom, and a good spot for live music. We watched Austin Castle perform here a few months ago and enjoyed a flight of really good ciders. My favorite was the Fireside which tasted a bit like apple pie.

Yelp
Duluth Cider is a great place for the person liking unique flavors! I went based on the barmaid's recommendations of four ciders, ranging from dry to sweet. The flavors weren't bad but not the ciders I was feeling. I plan to try more of the many rotating flavors again on my next visit! There was not much in terms of snacks but you can order from restaurants nearby if you're hungry. Duluth Cider has a nice taproom with a stage and some board games, as well as dog-friendly outdoor seating!

Yelp
Loved this place! Staff were super friendly and helpful and they have really unique and fresh tasting ciders. Live music on the weekends and a nice patio! Would definitely go back.

Yelp
We found this place interesting. We got here just before closing on a Sunday. It was dimly lit and people were sitting at the bar and at tables around the room. I really like the flavor of my chai cider. It was a really good combination. The bar tender was helpful and friendly. It had a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Yelp
A big fan of Duluth Cider! This is now a must stop for me when I'm in Duluth every few weeks for business. It took me awhile to incorporate ciders into my rotation, but I'm glad I did! Duluth Cider made it much easier with their great selections. A nice big open space. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and will give great recommendations on what they have on tap. Crowlers, 4 packs and gear to go. Sign me up!

Yelp
Up north where you wanna go? Brewery, right? GO HERE! We tried them at the Craft Beer festival in downtown Minneapolis and it was definitely worth the drive! Definitely get the superior dry but the rest of us RAVED about their THC Beer! Stupendous! Atmosphere was calm, service was DELIGHTFULLY charming and insightful! Loved who served us! We had a great time and for the people from California, they said it was their fav pick for drinking!

Yelp
Loved the ciders here! Bummer only open till 11 but liked the vibe. Eve and trailside were my fav.

Yelp
Where do I begin?! The space is stellar, very cool with plants everywhere and good music. Bartender was amazing, super friendly! The ciders were amazing, anything you have will be great. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Love this place. Great outdoor seating as well as cozy indoor area. Great selection of ciders with a variety of options for take-out. Nice location with multiple breweries located within walking distance of each other. The service was fantastic too, offering suggestions on ordering. If you're in Duluth, this is a must stop!

Yelp
Great place in Duluth that we always hit up when we're in the area. Fun atmosphere and delicious drinks. If you like ciders, check this place out!

Yelp
A fun afternoon with our flights. A little pricey at $42 including tip for two flights of four and a key lime can to go. The cider was good, we like a semi dry selection the best, greenstone. We took along some mixed nuts to enjoy with our cider. Others had take out. The patio setting was great with a few shaded tables. An enjoyable experience but not a regular experience as it is expensive.

Yelp
As I have gotten older, I have shifted my drinking habits away from heavy beers and toward ciders. I LOVE a good cider. And Duluth Cider makes a lot of really good ciders. These particular ciders strike a very good balance between being super dry and still also having a great sweet tartness about them. They are maybe a little too easy to drink sometimes. The staff at the actual location is super nice and friendly. They're happy to hand out samples and fill your growler (or whatever they call their fancy bottles that are kind of like growlers) or serve you a glass. The room itself is nice, kind of in the metal and wood industrial style that is so popular at breweries nowadays. But I super duper dug the old map of Duluth on the wall. Check it out.

Yelp
Beets Berries Battlestar Galactica. Delicious! Love the outdoor space-- FirePits, tables. Outdoor music space in summertime was a great energy. Look forward to more adventures here!

Yelp
I am not a cider person, but my wife is, and hence this was a good place to stop for a treat on a long drive up to the Boundary Waters. I am now a cider person when it comes to this place. They go far beyond the "pick sweet, off-dry, or dry" kind of lineup you get at most cideries. There are multiple choices in each category, some fruit infused, some herbal, some hoppy. And, you can get a sampler (4 minis for $10), *or* your designated driver can get a single mini-pour of something to taste. A lot of breweries/cideries don't have the short pour option, and it helps. The winner for me (and for others, it apparently got a gold medal of some kind) was a brew called Las Lajas. It's a collaboration with Duluth Coffee. A little on the sweeter side, but basically, imagine if a coffee stout (e.g., the Double Black from their fine neighbors at Bent Paddle) had a love child with an apple. It's unlike anything I've ever tasted made from mostly apples, and there is a crowler in my fridge that will be saved for when company that we actually like comes over. No food, but can easily BYO. Good patio with lots of shade, appropriately distanced indoor seating, highly kid friendly. Fully recommended among your oh so many beverage options in Duluth.

Yelp
This was a lovely low key place to go during the week! It was fairly empty so it was quiet, which was nice. There's a good selection of ciders that are tasty (we tried blackberry lime - very sour!) and some light snack options. The bartender was really helpful and nice. Just a cool, calm place to chill. Really like how they decorated the place too!

Yelp
Best cidery I have been to in MN. I love ciders and my bf is an IPA boy and he was even impressed with how good everything was. They had 8 ciders in tap so of course we had to have a flight each we could try everything. Most memorable was the Las Lajas 4/5 surprised how well the chocolate and apple taste mixed together. Chai Spiced Cider 5/5 perfect for a chilly fall night I'm mad at myself for not buying a growler to bring home, No.24 has a great kick and my bf fave. I would rate it a 4.5/5. They could use more decor it was quite simple, a tv or more food trucks or quick bites would put it over the top!

Yelp
Always a solid choice ... both in the taproom sampling current offerings or taking home a growler, or two. Or six.

Yelp
Very cool place, worth a stop! Clean open industrial interior... friendly staff reasonable prices. Some ciders were awesome! Some were good and clean but just more subtle of flavors than we prefer (Jolly Roger Greenstone Carlos). Must try: Trailside: strawberry basil Las lajas: coffee infused BEST!

Yelp
Loved trying all they different ciders. Eve was definitely my favorite. The coffee cider was surprisingly good, Theres a food truck out front.

Yelp
I love this place. Great vibes and ordering at the bar area was quick. I tried a flight and while some of the crazy flavors were not my favorite I did like the classic options on the flight. I also picked up a sweater because their swag is so cool here. I love a good cider place so I would come back here for sure if in Duluth.

Yelp
Really good cider. I did a flight and then another of the las Lajas I think. The coffee infused one. Service was great and they do a great job of keeping people social distanced and cleaning the tables between customers. All with one bartender working, impressive.

Yelp
Great ciders, friendly, well kept environment BUT imagine the disappointment when our group calls to order OMC. Only to learn they are no longer delivering to your location. Please work on reestablishing this connection - the Lincoln Park district deserves it!
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
They have a great patio area (converted parking lot). Lots of space and an outdoor ordering window. Cider was delicious. So many options! We ended up taking some growlers home with us! There is no food available but we saw others bring in takeout to enjoy with their drinks in the outdoor area. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. My favorite cider place near Duluth.

Yelp
Cute and new cider place in a refurbished barn. My friend (a local) and I (from St. Paul) shared a flight, which was a stellar deal for $8! I loved the Ruby (I like sweet cider) and she really liked the Sage (she prefers dry cider). We both agreed we'd return for a pint of those flavors. I would love to see some live music here - seems like the perfect place. Also, cozier decor - feels a little bare bones at the moment.
google avatar

April P.

Yelp
Great tasting ciders and the live entertainment was a nice touch. I recommend getting a flight first. You can choose 4 different ciders and see what you like. This way you are not stuck with a glass of something you don't like. It's under $10 so the price is pretty nice. Eve was I e of my favorites. Sweet and just right. Staff was very friendly. Lots of merchandise to choose from if you like. I bought a growler full of Eve. Stop by and check it out.

Yelp
This place is so fun! I love all their ciders and the staff is really friendly. Super fun environment for all age groups 21+.

Yelp
Met my niece here to celebrate her 21st Birthday. What a great atmosphere with friendly knowledgeable staff... plus we purchased the best cookies from 3rd st bakery, which were available at the bar . Would recommend this place to anyone looking for something new, with an urban feel in the new best place to hang out West Duluth!

Bill W.

Yelp
Great to see this spot born in Duluth here. I love the Greenstone flavor. We'll be back.

Yelp
Had the bliss and zenith flavor- excellent flavor not like any cider I've had recently

Yelp
I'm not a 5 star guy and must say Duluth Cider is close to a 5 star business. Good atmosphere, excellent cider, and welcoming employees willing to help. It's a winner...try the Ruby; it's sweet and no bias here. Lol!!

Taylor S.

Yelp
Such a fantastic experience. Thank you Cassidy for a great afternoon and being so accommodating during Covid times :)

Yelp
Duluth Cider is a great place to hang out with friends and family. The atmosphere is very fun and family oriented with great music and other events occurring frequently. The employees are very knowledgeable and know exactly what to recommend to customers who do not know much about cider. Every time I go here I always walk out happy! They have great pricing for their great ciders and it cannot get much better than that! They offer great events that cater to anyone's preferences and really do a great job at targeting consumers! Overall, this is a great business and I will be back often while I am in Duluth!

Erin M.

Yelp
We got 2 samplers so that we could try all the coders. They were yummy and unique! The decor was beautiful. We will definitely stop by again next time we are in town!

Judy S.

Yelp
I have only recently admitted to myself that ciders are an alternative to my 'go to' IPA drinking preference. The Duluth Cider offers an excellent array of drinking choices. Their semi sweet and dry ciders are very enjoyable. Mike, the barkeep, was friendly and helpful with navigating me through the ciders. The bar is open and airy It has a friendly vibe. Please give this west Duluth establishment a try.

Justine S.

Yelp
Honestly, some girl with brown hair was working and she was terribly rude. The cider was good and the location is prime. However, rude staff will ruin the entire experience for you. I am highly disappointed in the service I was given. When asking a question about the cider one expects a quick answer but instead I was given sass and a rude response. If you go here, go for the cider not for the service.

Bridget M.

Yelp
Fantastic flavors, something for everyone. A great place to spend an afternoon with friends. My favorite: Greenstone. Not too sweet, not too hoppy. I'll be back.

Nick W.

Yelp
Awesome spot. Clean. Great atmosphere, nice place. The cider is out of this world. We traveled here and had a good time.
