Beautiful place, beautiful views, with friendly service. Jhon was our server. I loved the spicy shrimp ! People generally love the pizza-most patrons had a pie or two at their table to share with friends . Lots of Vegan friendly options. The chocolate cookies were flat and didn’t stay moist for long. The music was great also. Rainy day when I visited, so the outside patio availability was limited bc they were covering the tables, closing the umbrellas, etc. check the weather before you go 😊 once the rain passed, it opened back up.

DUMBO House is the spot if you’re into chic settings and killer views. This place has a rooftop lookout where you can catch some of the best views of Manhattan—absolutely perfect for those Instagram-worthy shots or just soaking in the cityscape. It's super relaxing up there, especially in the evening with all the lights twinkling across the river. Downstairs, there's a West Elm and a food court, so shopping and snacking are totally covered. Every visit feels like a little escape from the usual city hustle.

1 of my favorites Soho’s. I would recreate the pool area by making more space between the sunbeds to give more air and privacy to the members.

So far, I'd say it's the Soho house with the best views! Everything else is exactly like in any other house, good vibes, easy going people and kind staff members. Bit hard to book the sunbeds near the pool in advance but you can just walk up and try your luck, many people that book don't always show up. Food selection at the pool area is limited but u can order a take out from downstairs and enjoy it by the pool. Thumbs up!

Have been here for weekend brunch, lunch, and dinner. The good: views, facilities, people watching. Much prefer this to the SoHo location. The bad: food, especially at the cost. Very mid. There are much better places to eat but if you’re looking for a certain type of vibe and a place to chill for drinks with a group of friends and with music, this is a solid option

Dumbo House itself is ok, restrooms and access to Soho House. The Time Out food market inside is a bit of a tourist mad house though

This was my first time visiting the DUMBO House and it did not disappoint. The space is hip and gorgeous. The views were breathtaking and the food scrumptious.

The rooftop is amazing, with views to Downtown framed by the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. You can see the Statue of Liberty in the distance and the busy shipping lanes of the East River. The service was great, the food was fresh, the wine tasted all the better for the view.

Privileged and exclusive but idyllic in nature, you will feel it all when you enter this restaurant. Beautiful views of Manhattan with an air of chicness to it. The food is very good and you often find celebrities here. In fact I was seated next to the rapper and media celebrity Common on my one date with a friend! I ordered the impossible burger with sweet potato fries that came with a well toasted brioche bun and savory toppings, including honey mustard. The burger was average, but the experience of sitting in velvet chairs with glasses of classy cocktails being poured in the middle of the day felt like a real treat. I am unaware of the cost of being a member, but get to know someone who frequents this spot and come here often!

If I could live on the rooftop of Dumbo House when it's nice weather sipping an adult beverage of my choice, I would. Dumbo House is really beautiful with a spectacular view of the Brooklyn Bridge and skyline. My friend is a member and brought me as her guest and I am so happy she did. I found myself here twice in the weekend I was in New York, so you know I liked it. The outdoor rooftop is beautiful, and so is the indoor lounge area. I had a solid martini there and a delightful girl dinner one visit of French fries. Service was friendly, and overall the vibes were top notch. If you're a member definitely make it a point to visit here when you're in the area.

The music was everything. Never have I ever heard soca and Afro beats mixed with house music! I am So here for the resident DJ he has my heart and I will be returning. Hell I might even apply for my own membership! The service at the bar was spectacular. The table seating not so much. Our waitress disappeared for 30 minutes and our glasses were not refreshed. I asked a bus boy to find someone to help us order drinks. He did not. I had to flag down another server but he did not understand our issue but did help close out the tab. While seated we ordered the tuna tartare and truffle fries which were exceptional. If they can work on the service it will be top tier. The ambiance is great but you do not need much with spectacular views. The chandeliers do add an element that brings magic alive !

This place has a phenomenal view of The Brooklyn Bridge. It's so very attractive and draws you in especially at night. The place is decorated well with plush seating options and tables of various types. The servers/bartenders were very nice and pleasant. It really is an absolutely beautiful space and I was magnetized by the ambiance. The lights were low, terrible for pictures. They had an adjacent movie room that was empty for this particular night. Live music that was great but hard to hear due to faulty speaker issues. The drinks were decent nothing noteworthy in my opinion. Cappuccino was authentic. My Aprizza Thyme drink was less pomegranate and more grapefruit then expected. I was with a group who's drinks ranged from good to 'different' The food is where we lost a star. The truffle fries were matchstick thin, not hot nor cold, and very overly salted. Damn near inedible. The fish and chips were straight up terrible. The fish was thickly coated and unseasoned. The burgers were decent nothing to remark on at all. This is a Soho House, it requires an annual membership. I had the expectation of better food to match the vibe. I would drink there again, but never eat there again.

Love DUMBO house! The staff is super nice, great ambience, drinks are good, snacks are yummy. I have been during the day to work from here, and at night for some events. This house has a full outside area and a pool - great to relax and spend time alone or with friends!

Came here this time for a Hip-Hop jazz event and it was lovely. Of course it's spacious with roof top access but the weather was not permitting outside enjoyment. Nice spot for events.

The views here at Dumbo House are definitely one of the highlights of visiting. I mean how could you not feel on top of the world when seeing the Brooklyn/ Manhattan Bridge and a stunning view of Manhattan. I'm sure this place is even more lively during the summer time too. The food and service though ... not so much of a highlight unfortunately. I came in for lunch as a guest of a member and as soon as the elevators opened to this exclusive social house I was shocked by how many people were here. Granted it was a Friday afternoon, but sheesh .. there was barely any open seating in the main area and the dining area was packed. The room was filled with diverse and driven creatives all busy socializing and getting work done (love to see it)! So for the food, we ordered their 3 course lunch which was a great price in my opinion. I ordered a salmon arugula salad, their BLTA with white bean soup and their mango sorbet. Everything was pretty mid, nothing special at all but it was very filling. Our server was great at the beginning but after our appetizers were served everything was out of whack. I'm not sure if it was because the servers were rotating between tables but the food didn't come out at the same time. So one person was patiently waiting for everyone else's food to come out while there food was getting cold. My favorite part of the meal by far was the mango sorbet... a nice and light way to end off the meal.

Came here with a friend who is a member for their weekend "feast" brunch and wowsas, is it a feast! Like you're at a fancy resort in LA for the day. Brisket, pancakes, potato salad, bagels, omelettes, Mac and cheese, fried chicken, an entire table devoted to desserts. The dream (if you're willing to spend $2100 a year). 5 stars!!!

Don't go here the food costs the same as a trendy restaurant in New York except it's not good and the service is insane how slow it is!! People complain over the years but now it's clear that it's become a scam and that's why people are shorting the stock it's a total rip off for members and guests!! They've throttled the rooftop via a booking system on opentable that fundamentally doesn't work and is offensive how you pay/sign up for access then get refused access feels that's a scam!! Hopefully consumers read this and sue, they deserve it.

A coworker who is a member here brought me to try this place. The service is outstanding, the views are incredible, it was nice and quiet during lunch which made it relaxing. Burger is a little messy, I ended up eating it with my fork, but the beef quality was top notch.

The views and decor are the only thing this place has going for it. The service is absolutely atrocious. How are you supposed to be upscale and exclusive with that bad of service. It took forever to get greeted and forever to have our check brought to us. I asked if they could split the bill the waitress didn't even pretend like she would try. She just said no and brought it out all combined. The funniest part about all this is you would think they were overwhelmed with tables and helping others but the majority of the time the staff just stands around. The food isn't even all that good for the price. What I ordered I liked, but they overcooked the salmon that one of the members at my table ordered. She also wanted a moscato (a sweet wine) and the waitress recommended her a very dry wine. Not what she had in mind at all. Also the fact they will only let you have a max of four people in your group just does not make any logically sense. They made us wait 30 minutes after our reservation to be seated at a table that was no different than any other tables setup and made a big deal like they wouldn't no where to put us. Adding one person should not be this hard.

Great views, it's really a lounge didn't eat to much when I was there so I can't speak on the food. I will say our server was barely around but once again we were in the lounge section. From what I saw it looked to be like there was a seating portion that was well attended and you actually had a present waiter !

The views are pretty spectacular. I stuck to a classic burger which came with fries. It was a solid burger, and the fries were great. The space was very crowded and boisterous which kind of changed how relaxed I felt. Servers were nice and polite. I personally couldn't see the value of being a member because of how crowded it was, and I prefer more of a peaceful environment. But maybe Thursday was a busy day. No real complaints. A solid choice if you like an energetic place to work or enjoy that sort of ambiance.

Dumbo house is an exclusive membership only club part of soho house with about annual $5k fee. The entrance is located inside the time-out market with separate elevator to get up. They have very strange rules tho, they don't allow people to take pictures even just the view, no drinking in the pool even they are all plastic, no laptop or phone call either they said it ruins the vibe. The food and drinks are decent, buffet has a good selection and taste good. Our waitress was great very friendly and attentive. They have a great view of the Brooklyn bridge from the restaurant and pool so that's really amazing

For a social club they could have offered more. Close kind of early and weren't a special as I thought they could have been. I would recommend having find out downstairs in the marketplace and enjoying the views that the water don't has to offer

If you're going to eat, ask for Caiton because his service is top tier, and he brings the vibes. He's the best human in the whole place. 10/10 for him. The space is cute AF too.

Great views, live music and drinks during dinner time. The chicken, shrimp, hummus and red pepper dips, Margherita pizza and dessert sundae were all delicious. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the views & attentive service. The entrance in the lobby is super discreet which adds to the exclusive vibe.

A restaurant more expensive than a typical Michelin Star restaurant (not even including the membership fee required to dine there), but with subpar food and unbelievably bad service. Just insanely, mind-bogglingly bad service. Worse than any hole-in-the-wall. They just forget about you, again and again and again, even though you're paying $36 for a mediocre sandwich. Yes, the views are amazing, but so are the views from the promenade and food court on the ground floor. Either reduce the restaurant prices by 50% (bringing them in line with a normal pricey restaurant) or use that money to pay staff enough to actually retain some people.

Yesterday I went to Dumbo House for the first time. I have been to two other SoHo Houses: the New York location and Miami. I have to say that the service at Dumbo was the worst service I've ever experienced at any restaurant/lounge/bar in the US. The staff seems to have zero hospitality experience, zero training and it feels like the GM is hiring people off the street or possibly just friends of theirs. The people there were so incompetent that I actually wondered if they were high. Here are some examples: - No waitstaff came by to ask if we wanted to order - we had to flag them down to order SEVERAL TIMES - It takes at least 45 minutes to get drinks when you do order - They screwed up EVERY SINGLE ROUND of food and drinks that we ordered - We asked them to split into two checks for two groups of people who were there at different times. They messed that up TWICE and had to re-run even though it was written on the receipt. Not sure how you can screw that up - Twice they brought food and drinks that we didn't order and then charged us for it A message for the management of SH: - It was clear that the staff doesn't work in sections. The servers claims it's because the customers "move around" but that makes no sense. Waitstaff should have designated sections that they work in and are responsible for. One of our waitresses left for the day and never told us and no one took over for her. - Are tips pooled? That also may be why employees just don't care. If the tips are pooled then they just don't care about service because they aren't directly rewarded for their efforts. They don't care if you get good service or not. - Train your people. The employees are clearly not trained. If they are unclear on something, they aren't asking for clarity on the order. Examples: one person ordered berries and then two orders of berries came out. When my friend said, "I only ordered berries" the waitperson said, "Well, there are two of you." My friend said, "Yes, but only I am hungry." Also, I ordered crudite on the side of the eggplant and avocado dips and when it came there were two orders but I only asked for one. They charged me for it and I had no idea that they were putting in two orders - WHY? Again, it's just a lack of training, curiosity and understanding of the role. - Check to see how many voids are happening for drinks and food and also cross reference the members list/their guests with how many people are actually patrons that day. Something fishy is going on with membership - I am guessing that the GM is just allowing all kinds of friends/nonmembers to go there. If that is what the goal is, why not get rid of the entire paid membership program then? My guess is that if there is any response from SH on this it will be some vague response that they are "working on it" or something that also shows that this is not being taken seriously. I would like to hear from the GM as to why this location is such a disaster. If I am paying $500 for appetizers and drinks, I would expect much better service. The price is not worth the value here.

Located above the Empire Stores, the entrance is accessed through a discreet bronze door leading to the lobby. You have to take the elevator upstairs to access the club. The view here is absolutely gorgeous. Great place to chill, hangout, and do what you gotta do. The food and drinks were decent and the buffet was worth every penny. They have a no-picture policy but... hey! The staff is very knowledgeable and the service is a bit slow at times, but if you're not in a rush, it's no biggie.

Brunch is totally worth it! There's so much to choose from and each food option is really really good. It's such a large buffet and it's beautiful to sit outside on the patio! The music is good and the vibe is good! Def recommend!

The service and quality seems to have dropped noticeably since my last visit. We sat outside in the patio and there were only about 3 other tables occupied yet we waited over very long to get our food. When the food finally arrived the server spilled the soup on the plate and didn't even apologize. He also didn't bring any spoons for us to eat the soup, my friend had to walk over and get the spoon for us. Having this lackluster service is really not acceptable considering the outrageous prices.

I spent a rainy Sunday at Dumbo House Memorial weekend as a guest of a member for brunch. We spent several hours drinking and noshing on brunch while catching up and surrounded by fantastic views. Despite not being able to reserve a table we were able to secure seating in the lounge area. The service was attentive and personable, fantastic drinks and tasty food with some great DJ's in the background. It was a great way to spend time catching up with friends. When the weather is nice eating outside is amazing. Much prefer this location to the meatpacking one.

Great views and a great vibe for a night out. However the service was not great. We had to go through several servers priors to getting our drink and food order place. The drinks themselves were great which is why I'm marking it up.

It's true that each location of this members-only club has its own identity, and of its New York locations, Dumbo House is my favorite. Being in this part of DUMBO guarantees breathtaking views of the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge and city skyline, which you can take in from their large outdoor patio. Just don't try to snap a photo, for you may be subject to their strict, but spottily enforced no photo policy-- evidenced by this photo I nabbed before I knew about this rule. It's particularly funny in this neighborhood, where you can't walk two feet without bumping into an influencer taking the same hackneyed photo on the same cobblestone street you've likely seen if you've spent any time on the internet. I think a haven devoid of hoards of people with their phones perpetually out is one that I welcome, and the various Soho Houses provide that, among many other perks. Earlier this year I joined some friends for dinner in their open dining room, which faces the dance floor. Well dressed people shuffled in for DJ Talib Kweli, who we also came to see perform. We shared a few wood-fired pizzas, calamari, burrata, and wood fired eggplant dip. The prices were significantly higher than what similar fare would cost at even a nice NYC restaurant but I think that just comes with the territory. Everything was pretty tasty and fresh, and service was attentive and helpful. As the music played and the whole place filled up, it felt like any other club. It was still difficult to flag down the bartender to pay for a $20 cocktail, and it was difficult to find space on the dance floor where I wouldn't be jostled from side to side, but all of this also comes with the territory. Hard to imagine what dance floors will look like in the coming year, and if they can happen at all. Still, I'm taking some comfort in reveling in the nostalgia of being entrenched in a sweaty throng of people, with nothing to worry about other than when they can get their next drink.

I had the most wonderful experience at the rooftop all than to the exceptionally warm welcome and attentiveness of Luigi i truly felt like a VIP guest Milton was our server he was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu he offered excellent suggestions. The eastern standard is a must try! Their friendly demeanor and efficient service added to the entire experience. Although it was sweltering outside they always greeted us with a smile! Thank you for making our evening truly memorable cheers!!

Space is obviously gorgeous. I suppose you don't really go here for the food. Ambiance is stunning and warm. The burger had the most reviews so I went with that, but the bun falls apart to the bite and the burger was undercooked. The fries were nothing to write home about. Safer bet is the pizza. Service is lovely. Save your evening with chocolate chip cookies to the rescue.

This house has such a phenomenal view. The food was good but they didn't have a ton of gluten free, dairy free or vegan options. What I did eat was good (flank steak, fries, broccolini) and the service was great. This was one of the busiest soho houses I've ever been to - it was packed. That's the only downside to my experience... but I also came on Good Friday at 2pm when I'm sure a lot of people were off work.

I just left a jewelry fundraiser where I met amazing people. The event ended and it was time to find a place with good vibes, drinks, and food. So where did we head to? You guessed right- Dumbo House! I hope you guessed right, after all that's why I'm writing this review. It felt like a Sex in the City night. All of my girls were dressed to imoress and looked sexy! We walked in and saw a line! Yea. I don't do lines and neither do the girls. So, we walked straight to the back of the line. Lol. My friend went to the front and security asked why were we in line? So, we walked to the front, checked in, and rode the elevator up. When we walked off the elevator, the room was packed and we had to search for a table. Unfortunately, your only allowed to be served or eat at certain tables, so we relocated. It was tough getting service but eventually she decided to greet us. We ordered wine, gin and tonic and a dark and stormy. My gin and tonic was good and I was told the dark and stormy was as well. For an entree, I had the dirty vegan burger. It was served with cheddar (not vegan) along with lettuce, tomato and a pickle alongside fries. The burger and fries were just ok, not great. The flavors did not match the price. However, at this establishment, your paying for the exclusivity. People were listening to music and playing card games while enjoying drinks and conversation. There wasn't much dancing but more of a bop and sway vibe. The view is absolutely beautiful of the east river. Honestly, for the price point my experience was just ok. My night was over the top, only because of laughs I shared with the other girls.

Pros: 1) beautiful view to the bridges; 2) very nice outdoor seats; 3) good food; 4) great drinks. Cons: 1) they lie about reserved tables, when we came in and sat at the table we wanted they said that it reserved for some kind of party!!! And we been there for whole day, no party of course didn't came in!!!!!

Dumbo House definitely beats Soho in terms of view, spaciousness and ambiance, though it's a bit harder to get to from Manhattan. Service was also kind of bad - at one point we all needed more silverware and that proved to be a challenge for some reason. Otherwise, food is good: margherita pizza, French fries and grilled romaine were all tasty. Lettuce wraps and poke were both a little too spicy for me. Eastern Standard cocktail is my favorite both here and at soho. Above all: incredible view.

I always have a good time here. The Sunday brunch is delicious, great music and the pool has an amazing view of the Brooklyn bridge even better than soho house pool. It can be very crowded during the hot summer days and is first come first seated. The cocktails are always good and the food and service had been consistently good!

Rose was the sweetest and Brandon as well. Rose took care of me in the best way. Rose and Brandon are amazing

Bartenders are super slow and don't appear motivated to work since 20% gratuity is automatically included in your bill. Also didn't find them to be very accommodating for a place that is membership based. Wanted to order food at the bar, was told they don't serve food at the bar so went to look for a waitress. Waitress sent me back to the bar after asking for a menu and said to order at the bar...somebody's misinformed . Not the best impression for potential members. Old fashion was meh, the D'Usse side car was chef's kiss tho. The view and vibe was amazing. Attended for a holiday party. Two stars because good service is truly the bare minimum and didn't receive that.

It seems silly to review but I will as this is a members club only, but the whole experience at dumbo house was fantastic, the views are awesome plus the food is very good, sat outside overlooking the east river, people who work there are very friendly and the prices are incredible for the quality,

Absolutely love the staff, team, food, atmosphere and vibe. I love my membership and I love how they ALL treat me!!!

Very disappointed in the service we got at Dumbo House. Having come here for dinner and drinks, we were seated and about to order when we were told that the kitchen had shut down for the hour to prepare for dinner and that there was no food left in the entire building. This put a remarkable damper on our afternoon, as we had come in to enjoy a meal and drinks, and were especially excited seeing the full spreads that were laid out as we passed through to the rooftop deck. Compounding our disappointment, as we got up to leave, we were harangued by servers barking at us to put away our phones, as all the houses had a strict no-photographs policy. Rather confusingly, no less than 3 people around me were snapping away in awe of the fantastic views afforded - perhaps it had to do with the fact that I was only there as a guest, not as a fully minted member of Brooklyn's professional creative class.

The views, the views, the views. If you are invited here by a member, you should go. It's very cool. Hip atmosphere, but not too hip. Lively at night but not crazy loud, which is appreciated.

Beautiful view of the bridge and of the river, it was so soothing to have breakfast on the water. The decor inside is beautiful, it almost feels like you're in someone's really expensive living room. It's cozy and chic all at once. The service was a little slow, but we were working at the same time so it didn't feel like we were just waiting around. The avocado toast was absolutely delicious. The presentation is also very very nice, you definitely get what you pay for. It got a little bit loud after an event got out, but calmed down pretty quickly. I would say waiters need to act a bit quicker when they see we've finished eating and we'd like to pay our bill. But otherwise it was a great time there, and I'm looking forward to trying out amenities in the summer months :)

New locations of ever popular (SoHo) House members clubs seem to be popping up everywhere. The new venue at Dumbo, by far a favourite. Spectacular views of the Brooklyn Bridge make for amazing backdrop for either lunch or dinner. The upper deck contains a pool for those balmy NYC days and the lower deck a sprawling bar under a wooden pergola. Inside, there are USB, computer stations a plenty. Who needs to turn up tonthe office when you can mix networking, with lunch and eloquent surrounds? For lunch, I decide to enjoy the buffet table. A wonderful selection of salads and greens, freshly sliced fished and carved to order chicken and pork for 20 something dollars. With venues in London, LA, NYC, Malibu (to name a few) it would be amazing to see SoHo house extend to Melbourne Australian :)

Service sucks, staff and kitchen very slow, they don't listen when you ask for specific orders, just all around a mess besides the view.

Not the best of NYCs 3 houses. A nice enough space. Great views. Dumbo is fun to walk around afterwards.

I was a member for two weeks and deemed it wasn't worth it so I withdrew. Let's start with the pros: Weekend brunch is excellent - huge choice and a good deal. The view is stunning. That's about it. The cons: Service sucks. I get much better service at about any NYC mid level restaurant that doesn't charge a membership fee. Service often leaves you waiting for long spells. Or they overlook details such as bringing you coffee long after you finished desert. The food is middling at best - 2 star food at 3 star prices. The selection is limited. With ho hum food and service what about the space? It's a glorified Starbucks. Wide open but not enough distinction or privacy between the different sections. Also, if you want to have a client meeting over dinner, you can't bring out a laptop. But the work area where you can, is not a great place to host a client. The reading room seems like an afterthought, with a fabric divider separating it from the main area. A proper wall would be better, affording it the quiet a reading room needs. The outdoor area is massive and the number one reason for membership. Unfortunately it's really only viable from mid May through mid October. You'd think by now, they'd have devised some type of seasonal glass enclosure. I didn't bother reviewing the pool deck as it's invariably at capacity on any decently warm day. Looks nice. The other issue I have with the outdoor space are the obnoxious six foot high glass walls along the perimeter. Perhaps they have these for liability but they effectively cancel much of the breeze on a hot Summer day, especially if you got a seat on the edge. Take your pick - great view but roast in a sweat box. Poor design. Then you have a lack of professional amenities. It'd be great if they had meeting or conference rooms. Catering to media folks, a screening room would be key. Also, they should make the work area a separate space. How about a game room with billiards, chess, darts, etc. and being able to have some reserve on stock? There's only so much people watching we can do. Perhaps the best part are the clientele. My wife (who's still a member) often would run into friends we'd know in entertainment (we both work in film and TV). That has however dropped off precipitously as maybe folks are just getting bored and dropping membership or find little utility. This is NYC. When you go out for dinner, you expect amazing food and good service - it is your right as a New Yorker. That mandate seems to have been lost at D House. So you're really left with the view. If I lived in a shitty walk up it maybe worth it, if I could afford it.

This "members only club" is now literally just a club, so be prepared to be treated like a run of the mill, off the street, nobody special, patron. The plethora of rules get applied in force or not at all, depending on the day, and really do nothing to create a more exclusive or hospitable experience. Rude and expressionless bartenders, servers that wield the authoritative powers with disregard and overcrowding which leads to slow service and lack of overall comfort. RUN AWAY. NEED NOT APPLY.

I went to Dumbo House because a friend who is a member invited me because I was considering joining but after this experience I think I need to rethink purchasing a membership or recommending the place for other people to join. 1- Rude service which we had to pay 80 bucks which is nothing but I expect a good service after including that in the bill. 2 - I got food poisoning from a 45 dollar buffet. 3 - all the damn plates were chipped. I was like come on how is this place charging 16 bucks for cocktails and 45 dollar for a buffet and all their plates are either chipped or dirty. 4 - staff seemed unorganized and unprofessional.

Very nice place. Views are amazing and the service was great once you were there, so why only three stars??? The receptionist (AA/F) we encountered upon arrival was horrible, she ruined the experience before we ever got in. Her manner, demeanor and condescending nature was so remarkable that it colored the entire rest of the night. Luckily another employee came to rescue, but needless to say, the experience ruined the entire firstDumbo House experience. This was especially bad because we were visiting the club as guests of three different members who had us on the list and who were already upstairs. While one reception was helpful and attempting to look us up, the rude reception unnecessarily interjected herself into the discussion and proceeded to create a problem. Without going to details, we were able to work it out, but the experience soured us on considering a membership and the actions of this rude receptionist was unfortunately the talk of the evening (a shame). Dumbo House made me fall in love with my city all over again. Caught between two bridges filling my mouth with NY Strip I felt my heart swell in time with my belly over the beauty of the views. I would love to come back here during the day and lounge in their work/cafe space. It's worth the pretty pennies spent to lose yourself in their atmosphere for a few hours.
