First visit for me with my friend to celebrate her bday. Sunday early dinner and easy to get a table. We ordered way too much for our appetite but it made for great leftovers! XLB, jajiang noodles, fried soup dumpling bun, beef roll and string beans. Easy to order on your phone, service was friendly and food came out fast. Would definitely visit to try more menu items!

My cousin and I heard this was a new place that popped up so we decided to try for lunch one day. The place itself is relatively small, but they’re working with every inch they’ve got. Everyone there was working very hard to put out the best product they could. We tried all the different types of dumplings offered and every single one of them was delicious! Dumpling 85 will now be in the rotation whenever I’m in the area.

New Updated review- 2025 March. Dropping two star for not maintaining hygiene. The hygiene was shocking - dust fell from the light fixtures into our food. We were also given broken plates and bowls. It's a shame, because the food itself wasn't bad, but the lack of cleanliness completely ruined the experience. Please see photos and videos. King of Dumplings This is our go to place for every weekend. Fairly priced items with best customer service. You get the table in 10 mins and can’t go wrong with the food. Beef dumplings are served piping hot and hot and sour soup are freshly made and now our favorite.

Google
Amazing food! Their xiao long baos were hand made, and near the tables. They had great service, and delicious food! I especially enjoyed their spicy noodles, as their chili sauce was super spicy! Their pan-fried pork buns were also super crispy! Highly recommend this place! They're not joking about their spicy

Oh my god. Delicious. Huge meal. I have to convince myself to eat elsewhere every night since I've eaten here, I just want to keep coming back.

It was busy at 12:00 pm on Lunar New Year and with a party of 2 we got lucky to get seating at a table. The restaurant was already pretty full and people continued arriving for dine in and take-out. I recommend going early to get seating if you don’t want to wait. It was my first time here and learned that we could just seat ourselves and scan the QR code on the table to order our food. Xiao Long Bao was amazing! Loved that the skin was thin and the soup was so flavorful. Pan fried pork buns were also juicy, soft on top and crispy on the bottom - so good! The beef roll was crispy and had good texture, but keep in mind the beef is cold cut style and not like typical cooked beef. It tasted plain and needed sauce. The shrimp egg and chives pocket tasted delicious, but you could hardly tell there was any shrimp inside. Considering how busy it was, the service was pretty good and the food came out pretty quick! The portions were big for the price you pay. Overall we had a great experience and would come back to dine here again!

Google
Went there because traffic was stopped on 680. What a great find. Some regulars and staff were very friendly. Ordering on phone was odd for me (regulars said it's faster), so we got it done. Regulars recommended Beef Roll, which was good, but my favorite (of what we tried) was Shrimp Noodles, which I don't see in online menu. My wife and some other regulars really liked the Spicy Pork Wonton. We also tried the Shrimp Pork Chive Dumpling, which was ok. Even though it is 25 miles away, it is definitely worth going back to try other items.

I could only speak on takeout. So, we ordered a few times from here and we are HOOKED! The veg. dumpling and noodles are just mouth watering good!! The flavors are fantastic. Don't go to Panda, GO HERE!

Yelp
I'll be concise This place is bangin! I was surprised with the quality and authenticity of the food and dumplings. We arrived at 730 on a Saturday and got seated immediately. The service is very fast and friendly. The restaurant is on the smaller side but it comes with a great view of the workers hand making the dumplings. The pan fried soup dumplings were top tier and the other dumplings were tasty. I consider myself quite the dumpling collector of sorts, and this place met all standards. I will be back as this hit me in all the right spots Big Mitch

Yelp
Was recommended to come here by one of our friends, overall, it was a disappointing experience. This was my first time dining in, but the server didn't ask nor gave us instructions on how to order. We had to figure it out by ourselves. After sitting for a bit, we saw that there was a QR code at the edge of the table. But the code brought us to a link where the previous table still had an outstanding tab that had not been paid. Fortunately, the restaurant had a lot of space, so we migrated to an empty table to try that QR code. Finally, we were brought to a clear tab where we were able to order our food (pork dumplings, pan fried dumpling, and the beef noodle soup) The food came very quick. The pork dumplings were good, nice flavor and juice inside. 4/5 The pan fried dumplings were very disappointing. I was expecting it to be pan fried. Instead it was just fried in oil resulting in a much drier texture than what I am used to 2.5/5 Beef noodle soup was not good as well. Several of the beef pieces were very tough and chewy. The soup was a tad bland 3/5

Yelp
Dishes we ordered, from my most to least favorite: 1. Xiao long bao - skin was thin and soup was flavorful. Loved that they had the xiao long bao spoons too! 2. Sheng jian bao - not the best I've had, but it was done well! There was a lot of soup inside and it didn't seep into the buns. 3. Chive pockets - the menu said it had shrimp but couldn't taste or see any. Taste wise, pretty average and could have been a bit crispier. 4. Beef rolls - not enough beef, too much lettuce and cilantro. They also put a lot of sauce, and it was too salty for my taste. Ordering was done through a QR code, very convenient for us as we didn't have to flag the server down. Food came out relatively fast. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back but I'd come again if I'm in the area.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday around1:40pm. There were lots of ppl inside but plenty of table outside. We dined outside since it was a nice day. We got the pan fried dumplings. It was actually deep fried on the bottom! I'm not supposed to have fired food for my stomach problem so I could only eat the top part and the inside. Usually, this buns is pan fried and not deep fried. Wish I knew. The XLB was ok. Did not wow me. The ones we had in Fremont recently were better. The beef stew noodle was ok. The beef brisket was not tender. Soup had mild spicy taste. So again not good for my stomach. Most likely won't be back .

Yelp
We came here for dinner today as I didn't feel like cooking. Our second time here and my younger son's first. They both got the Zha Jiang noodles and loved it. I decided to try something new, the California Beef Noodle Soup non-spicy version by request. We also got the Pork Xiao Long Bao. Everything was eaten with nothing left on the plate. We would come back to try other dishes. We came around 7:30pm and the restaurant not too crowded. Few tables were taken, but plenty of seats available. Few people also came in for take out orders and online orders. This restaurant is at a convenient location close to Costco.

Yelp
Is Dim Sum more accessible these days? Yesterday I was thinking about this as I sat with my friends waiting for our order. There definitely seems like there are more located near where I live now compared to 30 years ago. And boy am I happy about the fact. I love me some dumplings of any culture. Yesterday it wasn't super busy. We went around 5pm so I feel we beat a little of the dinner crowd. Our waitress took our order right away. They were very professional. They checked on us every now and then which was definitely appreciated since we had 7 people. I also helped that we ordered a ton of food right away. So Ive been going to a few places this year and my favorite places to get Dim Sum at the moment is in Elk Grove and Concord. Comparing Dumpling 85's experience to previous experiences, I definitely left satisfied. My only complaints were with the Ginger & Scallion Noodles and the Spicy Wontons. The noodles were definitely solid but I just wish I had a little bit more of that Ginger and Scallion flavor. Both flavors were very subtle. As for the Wontons, something tasted a little off. There was constantly a weird aftertaste that I couldn't explain. It was something that I hadn't tasted before after tasting other versions of the same dish. Maybe it was just an off night though. Everything else was amazing though. I couldn't get enough of the Xiao Long Baos. Both the Pork and Chicken ones were delicious. On a cold night, they were perfect to warm us back up with each bite. The Pot Stickers were shockingly crispy and super sized. I had never seen them cooked this way but im sure the whole table agreed that they were pretty tasty. I definitely would come back!

Yelp
First time reviewing Dumpling 85! Ive been here a couple of times, but the photos attached are from when I went on a Sunday night. There were not that many people. You order online via the site and they'll bring it to your table. The staff was very friendly. They were able to deliver some of my food quickly! This is easily my favorite dumpling place in all of East bay. Everything is reasonably priced. The xiaolongbao was my favorite. Very soupy at the bottom. There is seating both inside and outside. There is one restroom and it's clean. Plenty of parking outside. The restaurant is fairly clean too. I'll continue coming back!

Yelp
Not our first time here. We have always loved noodles and buns and were glad when this place opened years ago near by. Our usual are: 生煎包 pan fried pork buns - our favorite. The skin is kind of thick but that is how it is for these types of buns. Similar to the xiao long bao, watch out for the soup in the buns. 韮菜盒子 shrimp egg and chives pockets - we like this mostly because my mom used to make these whenever she visited us in the US. I have to say the ones here are no comparison to what my mom made but it is what we can get so we have to live with it. The filling is mostly chives and I generally do not get the shrimps skin 蝦皮 that should be a good park of the ingredients. If you are expecting actual pieces of shrimps you will be disappointed as I have not encountered any actual shrimp the many times I order this. The traditional way is pan roast with little to no oil but here they really "fry" these so too greasy for me. We keep ordering these only because I miss my mom's cooking... 豬肉小龍包 pork xiao long bao - should be the signature dish but we actually do not order this all the time. It is good but really not that good for us to keep getting them. 蔥油麵 ginger & scallion noodles - well, we used to love this as it is flavorful even with nothing really other than the scallion infused oil... but then it somehow got greasier and greasier each time we order so we have not had this the last few visits. But if you have never tried this you should at least have it once. Make sure eat it hot so it feels less greasy. Since there is only 2 of us so after the usual we generally can't eat anything else. I noticed the beef rolls are popular but since I know how to make it so we do not get them. But you should try. The place is small with limited indoor and outdoor seating. We have tried both the bar and table. Sitting at the bar let you watch how they make the xiao long bald, which reminds me of Ding Tai Fong . Services is decent as they are BUSY with tons of carry out orders. Just need to be patient for your food to arrive at peak dining times. Overall this is a 3.7 star for me so I am rating them 4.

Yelp
QR code menu and ordering. Service was pretty attentive and food came out really fast. Interior was contemporary. The XLB and pan fried dumplings were solid. The chive, egg, and shrimp "empanadas" were decent but I wish the shell was less doughy. The spicy wontons had too thick of a skin. The spicy pig ears were sliced way too thick. The ginger and scallion noodles were pretty good. Definitely pass on the beef noodle soup though, had a weird taste to it. I prefer DTF, dumpling hours, and special dumpling/special noodle 四姐 but if you're in the area and craving dumplings, it's nice to have this option.

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Small restaurant with a ladies making soup dumplings behind the glass windows. There's also seating outside for a nice evening. Once you walk into the restaurant, we were greeted right away and got seated. Restaurant do not carry menu so you have to scan the QR code to retrieve the menu from your phone. We ordered one order of pork dumplings and one order of pork and crab soup dumplings, soy noodles salad, and braised beef rolls. I enjoyed the soy noodles salad the most. It has a little numbing spicy kick and a chewy texture. The soup dumplings were good but I'm not really fond of the sweet soup taste but overall quality and size was good. The beef rolls doesn't seems braised. It's more like boiled. The flavors are not there for me and I wished it had cucumbers instead of lettuce. It was still good but I missed that flavor like other restaurants make them.

Yelp
Located near the Pets store in San Ramon, this an authentic Northern Chinese restaurant with handmade dumplings! I was impressed with their delicious baked pork dumplings, which contained a savory broth with the juicy pork meatball filling. Soft outside, with a crispy bottom. Absolutely loved this dish! I highly recommend their shrimp fried rice, with dried onions and green onions toppings! Their crab xiao lim bao is absolutely amazing! Love the crab meat and savory soup!

Candace W.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me many times and I finally decided to try it. The menu is a QR code and you order from your table which is super convenient. It was busy for a Friday night with a lot of to go orders and people eating in. I enjoyed everything that I ordered and had plenty of leftovers. The soup dumplings were spot on and the pan fried pork dumplings were similar but had a crispy thick skin. The pork buns were also similar but with a bao bread. I really liked the pan fried beef dumpling and the beef fried rice had nice tender brisket mixed in. I have found a new go to dumpling spot!

Ailun H.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for lunch a couple Saturdays ago and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant was busy and several other tables were already filled with other people. You can order using your phone via the QR code on your table. The employees here spoke Taishanese (to my surprise). My friend and I shared a few things and enjoyed everything we ordered: PORK XIAO LONG BAO (8 PCS) Upon the first bite of the XLB, I was immediately surprised by how rich and flavorful the broth was. It was exactly how I imagined a good XLB to taste like. The skin was pretty thin and the flavor of the meat was good. This was definitely the best thing we ordered and I'd highly recommend. I'm used to getting bad/mediocre XLB, so this one was a pleasant surprised. VEGETABLE & PORK STEAMED DUMPLINGS (10 PCS) This one was pretty good, too! I liked that each piece was big and each one had a bit of broth which I really enjoyed. There was a good mix of vegetables and pork. I'd recommend this here! SPICY PORK WONTON WITH PEANUT SAUCE This was my least favorite, but still good. The chili oil and peanut sauce were good but I felt like I was just eating sauce, and not so much the wontons. I didn't think much of Dumpling 85 when I loosely suggested it for lunch to my friend. After our experience, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone in the area looking for dumplings.

Audrey S.

Yelp
Came during a weekend and there was about a 20 minute wait. Sit down and order via a QR code, which was pretty easy. XLB and pan fried buns were very good with lots of soup! The shrimp chives dumpling was good, but I felt like they didnt take all of the tails off the shrimp so they were a bit crunchy. Overall great menu, restaurant can be hectic but thats more because it is popular.

Patricia G.

Yelp
Everything was super tasty. A little bit greasy at times but really good food. Staff was very friendly.

Kevin W.

Yelp
Food was fast and fantastic! Fresh and delicious. In house dining area was small and loud with the kitchen being in the dining area, but made for a cool ambiance. Again, food was fantastic and good value.

Hanna L.

Yelp
Came back again after a while, and this place improved even more. The portion size was very generous. We should have just ate half of them. Spicy Tandon noodle soup my husband ordered had a strong Mala spice but the broth was nice. Mine was a california something noodle soup, which had picked radish, spicy sauce, and braised beef with bokchoy. I liked the broth - wish it was less spicy. I think they rushed it and ended up adding too much spicy sauce. Overall, delicious meal at a good price!! It was SUPER packed on the Friday we went, there was a long line, and the two serving ladies were extremely swamped with taking orders, cleaning, serving and etc. Chefs are rolling dumplings endlessly. They said it was unusual to be busy like that, but perhaps after spring break, families need some place to eat dinner.

Eric L.

Yelp
Great spot for hand made dumplings, noodles and pastries. I orderd for takeout, but noticed they had a good amount of weekend business and a number of tables outside for patio dining. Nice to have another dumpling option in San Ramon.

James Y.

Yelp
Eerily similar to Dumpling Hour out in Oakland. But Dumpling 85's food is noticeably more attuned to classic Chinese tastes. Makes you think if there is a chain or franchise in these "Dumpling ___" locations. Food was good, service was good, location was good, decor and inside was okay. The only two issues I had were really just that the AC was uncomfortably cold and the beef noodle soup had no flavor. That broth was like water with some peppers and meats added. It wasn't really a broth. Other than that, the beef rolls were fanatic, cucumber salad was yummy, and the XLB was nicely made.

Angelina L.

Yelp
We love the pan fried dumplings here. You place the order by your on you phone. Dishes literally served in 2 minutes everytime! The beef wrap hardly has any meat though. It's stuffed with cilantro. Service is fast but not too friendly.

Laura M.

Yelp
I really loved Dumpling 85! I can't think of another Chinese restaurant around this area that is as good. FINALLY we have one close by. My husband and I had the Beef Chow Mein, Spicy Stir-Fried Green Beans, Pork Shaomai and the green onion pancakes. The Beef Chow Mein was loaded with flavor and we enjoyed the semi-crispy veggies in there as well. They were the perfect light crunch inside the chow mein. Beef was delicious and not fatty (thank you Dumpling 85 for this). Spicy Green Beens were perfectly spicy, charred and had roasted garlic cloves...oh yum. Pork Shaomai was incredibly flavorful and far surpasses the same dumpling at another restaurant. The green onion pancakes were friend and come sliced. They were fantastic, although perhaps a bit more green onion next time? Everything was delicious and thankfully not greasy. Definitely more than enough for 2, so we brought what we didn't eat home. Cute little place, but not a place you'd consider "dining". It's more of a quick place but hey I'm fine with that. We will be back soon!

Marie S.

Yelp
Ordered the egg chive pockets, beef roll, and a few other items. Flavors were good; however, the two aforementioned items were deep-fried, rather than pan-fried. The meal ended up being very heavy, despite our attempt to order balanced dishes. I would just keep that in mind if you have a certain expectation of what those dishes should be like.

Jack H.

Yelp
Made a last minute audible to come here instead of some other restaurants in the plaza, and it was a great decision. You order online through the QR code, and they are pretty quick with bringing the food out. We got our food within minutes of ordering. Here are some things we ordered: Pan fried dumplings - best on the menu. It has soup in them, so be careful biting in it. Soup will squirt out and can be hot. Beef Roll - came out perfect and fresh. It should be dipped in their house ginger soy sauce that they give you. Would definitely order again. Hot and Sour Soup - Can never go wrong with ordering this soup. For $10, it can feed two people easily for a meal. Spicy Oil Peanut Sauce Wonton - Didn't love it. The peanut sauce mellowed out the spicy and tanginess of the chili oil. I would pass on the future. They have a bar seating area where you can see the cooks wrap the wontons and dumplings, which makes it a cool experience.

David R.

Yelp
I posted a mediocre review of Dumpling 85 in the past just after it opened. I decided to give it another chance last night and it was well worth it. The dumplings are fresh made right in front of you are are delicious. I had the WonTon soup and Long Bao. Both were fresh and delicious. They were very busy but the service was fast and friendly. I will definitely go back for more.

Abbe W.

Yelp
Came here with my family for a late lunch. The ordering system is contactless. Basically, you scan the QR code with your phone and it will take you to a website where you order online. This type of ordering system is becoming more of a norm now. My daughter and I are always on the search for a good beef roll and scallion pancake. We ordered quite a few items to split amongst us. We ordered some potstickers, XLB, Lan Zhou and Beef Brisket noodle soups, chow mein, appetizer, scallion pancake and beef rolls. My family liked most of them except the Beef Brisket noodle soup. We preferred the Lan Zhou over Beef Brisket. Although the Lan Zhou looked pretty plain, it had the best taste for the soup. Beef Brisket seems a bit bland and I think we had higher expectations so we were disappointed when it didn't meet what we were hoping. Other items were pretty good and it's a decent spot for dumplings. I won't mind coming here again if we come to visit our relatives.

Ruth B.

Yelp
Parking is a bit tight in the ahopping center but place isn't too big with outdoor seating as well. Order via Mealkey QR code. Food is a mostly decent. The xiao long bao and pan fried pork buns were the right flavor to remind you of Shanghai with plenty of soup. The noodles were just ok and a bit bland. The shiu mai was disappointing with very thin skin. However the beef roll was amazing! Crispy with tender beef, just right amount of hoisin sauce and veggies. May have to order 2 next time. Excellent and attentive service. They kept refilling our tea and checking on us. Clean and nice bustling atmosphere. I would definitely return.

Stacy W.

Yelp
If you want great food with reasonable prices, this is the place to go. The service was quick and there is plenty of parking.

Karen A.

Yelp
When I come visit my sister, I always see this little place. Finally, I got to try it and it was delicious. The dumplings tasted like comfort food and I wanted to bathe in the sauce/juices. I enjoyed the noodles as well--simple but good. I will totally come here again!

Jeany L.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and family friendly. I love the Jajangmoen, it's drier version and less sweet compared wt Korean style. Dumplings and Xiao Long Pao are legit, very soupy and taste good! One thing I would like to let them know is the pork Shu Mai is pretty salty on the date we had. Service: order from the QR code, and food came quick as well. I would definitely go back there!

Anya T.

Yelp
I live in San Ramon but never been here. I tried the Xiao long bao and they were delicious dumplings. They also made a great tasting cucumber salad. I will definitely be back here on my off diet days.

Georgia R.

Yelp
Tucked in a cute complex with free parking & Starbucks next door! Pleasantly surprised to find such delicious, handmade dumplings & other dishes. We ordered the beef roll (2 pieces), regular pork XLB, shrimp pork chives steamed dumplings, & pan fried pork bao. Definitely had more than enough to feed 2 people, but since it was our first time we had to splurge a little bit! Prices are comparable to many other similar spots in the Bay. In terms of taste, amazing! The dumpling wrapper on the steamed dumplings is thin and chewy, and holds in all the yummy flavors of the broth. The pan fried bao is crispy on the bottom, soft on top, & wonderfully juicy inside. The beef roll was solid, but very filling - great flavors, tender beef, & crispy green onion pancake. Pro tip: use black vinegar & ginger dipping sauce on your XLB! Will definitely be returning!

Connie M.

Yelp
I found this place to be okay, everything we ordered was either too salty or too greasy. I've had fried foods at other Chinese places before but this place everything was totally coated in oil. I felt really gross after. The cucumber salad was good though it was probably my favorite dish. Their siu mai isn't normal with shrimp and pork, it was literally only meat and not much flavor. The beef rolls were really tough and kinda hurt my mouth to chew. The XLB was the most bland item. Overall it gets the job done but it wasn't my favorite.

Wendy M.

Yelp
There were three of us for lunch and we had a hankering for dumplings. We got sat down right away because it was a nice sunny day and we opted for an outside table. We ordered from a QR code and the food came within a few minutes. We ordered fresh cucumber salad, onion pancakes, pork XLB, veggie dumplings, wonton soup and ginger scallion noodles. I loved the onion pancakes & cucumbers. The XLB had a nice flavored soup inside and were a good size. Everything was really good and authentic. I would definitely go back for a quick lunch and recommend to others for legit Chinese yumminess! They even saved my coworker's umbrella that got left there by mistake. 4.5/5 stars!

Noelle P.

Yelp
Ordered on Uber eats while we were in the San Ramon area as everything is freshly prepared and may take a little longer if you don't have time to sit/wait. We ordered the beef rolls, pork buns, and pork dumplings. Everything came out fresh (and hot!) Our only gripe with the beef rolls is to have thinner slide meat. Crunch of the roll is just right. I would recommend they add chili oil in the take out containers for the beef rolls.

Mandy W.

Yelp
We had Spicy Pork Wontons, cucumber salad, and chicken corn pot sticker. Wonton and cucumbers were perfect. Pot sticker feels a bit more like pan fried, but still pretty good. QR code ordering system is a bit confusing, but they were happy to take order directly from us so no big deal. Will certainly come back for their other dishes.

Katherine G.

Yelp
I truly thought that there weren't any good Shanghainese spots in this area but I was very wrong. If you're looking for some delicious, authentic, and reasonably priced food definitely check out this spot! We came for dinner on a Friday before the peak rush and there were still a good number of people inside. This is an open kitchen so you can see them making the food behind the glass, but it also means you will likely walk out smelling slightly like grease. We got the beef roll pancake, ginger and scallion noodle, and pan fried pork buns to share between the 2 of us. All of the dishes were soo good! The beef roll pancakes were super generous in fillings and had such a good scallion pancake texture with a crispy exterior and chewy middle. The portion of the noodles was also so much more than I expected, and I appreciated how there wasn't too strong of a ginger flavor and more charred scallion instead. The noodles were also the perfect chewy texture. Finally, the pork buns were my absolute favorite! I had been craving these for a while and these definitely satisfied that. The bottom was so perfectly crisp and crunchy and there was plenty of savory soup inside with the filling. Soo delicious! We had enough for leftovers to take home as well, which made it all definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this spot!!

Mauricio B.

Yelp
Really good dumpling spot! Was craving some dumplings in the San Ramon area and came upon this gem. We ordered the beef roll, pork XLB, pan fried pork dumplings and noodles. All were a hit! Highly recommend coming here if you are craving dumplings. Service was quick and attentive, the restaurant had a cool modern vibe with outside seating. I'll be coming back!

Alvin C.

Yelp
Found @dumpling85 in San Ramon for some dumplings. Arrived half an hour before they closed and they still accommodated us. Friendly service and excellent food. The filling in all that we ordered seems to have been prepared the same way. - The pan friend pork bun was delicious. Crispy on the outside and steamed filling in the inside. - The xiao long bao was good. Don't forget to use the soup spoon. - The pork shaomai and shrimp/pork dumplings are steamed lighter and a little more soupy than others we've had. - The steamed pork buns have a filling like the shaomai. Don't expect bbq pork bun. - The beef roll were good. A little heavy on the sauce that made it strong. If possible to get on the side, that would be best. - The ginger and scallion noodles were good. Not strong on the ginger.

Cynthia S.

Yelp
This is the second time I've been to this restaurant. They have QR code for the menu and you order everything with your phone. Although I did see the table next to us had someone help them order with regular menu. I had the garlic broccoli appetizer and beef dumplings. Garlic broccoli Taste 5/5 Price 3/5 It's a little under $7 for a small plate of broccoli but my goodness do they taste amazing. It's a cold app and it is salty and garlicky and sesame oil-y. I could eat a whole pot of it. Beef dumplings Taste 4.5/5 Price 4/5 It's a little over $1 per dumpling. Very juicy. The skin is a little on the thick side but oh so soft.

Emmeline T.

Yelp
This place is tucked inside a plaza. Their sign wasn't the most obvious at night when I went for dinner so it took a hot minute to find. Upon seating, we checked out the menu using the QR code on the table. I originally thought we were supposed to order through our phones, but saw the server take another table's order in person so thought we needed to order via someone. We originally ordered the pork soup dumpling, pan fried buns, and beef rolls. Somehow there must've been some miscommunication that we wanted potstickers instead of the pan fried buns and we got that instead. I didn't even notice that we got the wrong order (since I was so concentrated in just eating the food when the food arrived) until I took a bite of the potsticker and realized it wasn't the pan fried bun. Since their system said we ordered potstickers (although I know I didn't order potstickers), we just separately ordered the pan fried buns. I guess next time I'll just use my phone to order to avoid any human error. The food all arrived pretty quickly after we ordered. Pork soup dumpling - 3.5/5. The flavor was on point, but there wasn't enough soup in the soup dumpling. So it was more like eating a small dumpling. Pan fried buns - 4/5. The bottom part of the bun was a lot more fried than I would've liked. There was a large chunk of just bun on the bottom. The taste reminded me of Chinese doughnuts. There was more soup in the pan fried buns than the soup dumpling! Beef rolls - 5/5. Really good! Highly recommend! Potstickers - 3/5. Really crunchy exterior which is good for potstickers. However, it wasn't anything special. Overall, their food tasted pretty good and authentic.

Yelp
The food was fresh and tasty. Lots of flavors. They were busy as it was a Friday night. We waited about 15 minutes, not bad and more than worth it!!! I highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Yelp
When those dumpling cravings hit, you need to listen. Parking: in a plaza that does get crowded during lunch time so be mindful of that, have patience because you will soon be in food heaven Since I was solo today I didn't try the XLB but I will next time! 12:45 arrival to miss the 11:30am crowd. :) perfect timing Order: QR code, highlights the popular items. Spicy pork wontons: good chew in the wrap, little oily for me but I still enjoyed. Beef noodle soup: ordered vinegar and spice on side. Tender beef, noodles soft. It is A LOT, i will need to throw an extra workout in, thank goodness for stretchy pants. This place would be good with a partner to share calories with:. Def will try again :)

Yelp
My favorite place to get dumplings in San Ramon! A small place overall, but nice outdoor seating with heat lamps and if you sit inside you get to watch the chefs make dumplings. The food here is consistent and always tastes SO fresh. The soup dumplings are incredible, with a perfectly thin skin and a good amount of soup inside, with the pork being tender and flavorful. The beef rolls are one of the most popular items here as well, and it's delicious with the scallion pancake wrapped around the beef and fresh lettuce, scallions, and cilantro. The boiled dumplings are also great, you really can't go wrong! It does get quite busy here during the lunch rush, but the servers are very kind and efficient.

Yelp
LOVED! small space but we've never had to wait long, the menu is very expansive and everything is family style, very affordable in comparison to other places with similar vibes/menus. favs: shumai, xlb, beef roll, green beans, spicy wontons

Yelp
Loveee me some good noodles and dumplings. I really enjoyed their Lanzhou noodles, it was chewy with a bite. The broth had great flavor and the perfect amount of food. Their shrimp and pork dumplings was also really tasty with a thin skin wrapper (those are the best!) Unfortunately, a few pieces were undercooked -_- They offer outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seats. You can view the front counter where all the dumpling wrapping action happens.

Yelp
I ordered dumpling 85 through door dash and was pleasantly surprised with how much i enjoyed my meal. I unfortunately did not get a chance to take a photo BUT ill do my best to describe what i had. Now, it has been a while since i ordered but from what i do remember the order included soup dumplings and fried rice. The soup dumplings were the perfect size and the perfect ratio of filling to soup. The fried rice was well seasoned and the once again portion size was perfect or 1-2 people. I can definitely see myself coming back!

Yelp
Good place for xiao long bao. My mom try wonton soup noodles but not really like it. I think better try xiao long bao and maybe some dry noodles

Yelp
Cold water in insulated cups at the table. Scan the QR code stuck on the table to order. Beef noodle soup: a little on the salty side but such a flavorful broth. Beef flank chunks and baby bak choy with a few sprigs of parsley. Highly recommend. Xiao long bao had a yummy broth inside. Dough was on the thick side. Nice to know the dumplings are made on site but based on the menu I found on Yelp, I wasn't sure if this was an old menu and if still applicable, whether only that steamed dumplings are handmade. There were specials on the board without prices. Pretty noisy place especially if a large group shows up. Will be back to try their other items.
