The portions were incredibly large! We loved everything we ate; everything on the table was absolutely delicious. The portions were so generous that we couldn’t finish them. The staff were so sweet and disappointed that we couldn’t take the leftovers with us. The place had a cozy, local hangout vibe.

Google
Delicious. Just beware of any dish that has any amount of “sweet” component. My General Gau’s chicken was “sweet and sour” and they used honey - totally fine but it was a TON of honey. After 10 minutes, it was hard to pick a piece of chicken up because the honey had become so viscous. Dumplings were great, came out hot and crispy, and they were generous with the filling.

Since we moved to North Cambridge, my daughter and I often go to Dumpling House to have our dinner. We love Chinese food and Dumpling House is the best restaurant and most authentic food around like Northern Style Cold Noodles, Mini Soup Dumplings and Sliced Fish Szechuan Style, which are our favorites. My daughter’s favorite is pork with bean curd & yellow chives. If you’re local or visitors, please do not miss this amazing foods!!! will make your stomachs satisfied!!!

Had dinner with my family today and ordered pork soup dumplings, eggplant, and fried rice. While my wife was eating a dumpling, she suddenly found something in her mouth. She immediately spit it out and it turned out to be a piece of clear plastic/glass. We called the server over and showed it to her. She went to the manager, who then asked if we wanted a new plate. Since it was the last dumpling, we declined and were just relieved that our 2 year old baby wasn’t the one eating it. We finished our meal and asked for the check, but the dumplings were still listed. We asked the server if she could remove it from the bill, and she did. (I should’ve taken a picture of the plastic, but I couldn’t because the server took it away.) I appreciate that they eventually removed the dumpling from our bill, but I think it should’ve been taken off before the check was brought out. That’s why I’m leaving this review. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again, and if it does, I hope it’s handled more professionally.

Google
Love everything here - food, staff, and atmosphere. Sometimes there's even a turkey in the grass outside:) it's where my kids always want to go on their birthday because it's exciting. Our favorite is the dry tofu dishes and the pork/shrimp dumplings.

Google
I was expecting much better a nd tasty Chinese food, I went here as per Google review but it didn't meet my expectations, the spicy fried chicken was very very dry, it had no flavors, the fried dumplings was not good at all, the stem dumplings was alright, I left the chicken and fried dumplings without eating i midway as I didn't like it, the service is quick. The need improvement in food quality and ingredients. Atmosphere is good. I find it expensive as well.

Google
Food was 8/10 as not every dish was great but the dumplings and pork dish was real good. Tried Chinese beer as well which almost tasted like corona.

Google
While not much to look at......the food was amazing both in flavor and taste and portions were huge!! We definitely over ordered and was NOT disappointed! This was a great meal!

Yelp
Very solid Chinese restaurant near Central Square in Cambridge. Good for a quick, filling meal. Food: We got the spicy fish, cumin lamb, broccoli veggie, and 2 types of dumplings. All were very solid! The spicy fish was soft and had a numbing Sichuan spice. The cumin lamb was our favorite, nice crispy exterior and a soft interior. I don't always love cumin but the flavors balanced well. The dumplings were bomb. Super juicy, super flavorful, and thick skin. Ambiance: This is a pretty standard Chinese place so there isn't a ton of emphasis on the interior. Great for family-style food 7/10. Price: The price definitely adds up depending on how many dishes you get but it's not too bad, especially with the portion sizes that you get 7/10. Overall would definitely go again!

Yelp
I've had dumplings from the Dumpling House twice. Yelp reviews guided me, making me think these were the best dumplings I could get in the Boston area. Both times I was disappointed. The first time, I got take out. The second time, I came spontaneously with a large group of pals. We were seated right away. The ambiance is casual. The service is okay. This rating is mostly for the food. The dumpling dough is thick, there aren't many (if any) pleats, and the fillings weren't enticing. Sometimes there was gristle, or other chewy textures. Both times I want, I got several kinds of dumplins. Both times, many dumplings were composted because nobody else would eat them and I couldn't bring myself to eat them either, and I hate wasting food. There are better dumpling spots than this. Taiwan Cafe on Oxford Street in Boston, for example. Those dumplings are crack. The dumplings from Dumpling House are gross.

Yelp
Food was generally solid. Their guo tieh could've been crispier on the outside but details. The one thing I will say is that we got our meat dish too late when we were almost done with our meal and it was a perfect pairing to go with rice and our veggie dish so that was a bit of a downer.

Yelp
Came on a Sunday night after a big dinner rush and there were still a lot of people! Luckily, they have so much space you never have to make a reservation. Food is served quickly and is pretty decent for Boston. We got the cumin lamb special, which was very spicy for a non-spicy eater, chicken with basil, and string beans to share. All were pretty good.

Yelp
Aaaah the food here is as good as it gets.. it has clearly become my favorite go to restaurant for Chinese food in Boston area. My current favs are: Salt and pepper tofu Sting beans low mein Crab Rangoon Scallion pancakes spicy fried seafood in wok sizzling beef with black pepper Sautéed String Beans Sliced Fish Szechuan Style Vegetarian buns with mushrooms The food is consistently good and service always superb. The restaurant is always clean too.

Yelp
The food was beyond amazing! the pork and cabbage pan fried dumplings were the best i have ever had. The General Gau's Chicken was delicious, spicy but not to much spice. the chicken fried rice was perfect; not overly cooked. the sweet and sour chicken was amazing becasue they added just a touch of honey in it.

Yelp
This restaurant sucks! I've been ordering the beef fried rice without eggs or vegetables from this place on DoorDash for a long time and they were able to accommodate me for a while because of my allergies. They have cancelled my order on two separate occasions without any reason except for, "We can't prepare it this way" or just cancelling. It makes no sense since they were able to make my food correctly many times before. They are incompetent, don't order from this place for delivery.

Yelp
I was really excited when I first walked it. I thought this would be super authentic, and just overall great experience. The food was mid at best. We ordered the shrimp dumplings, beef flat noodles , and the pork pan fried buns.( buns not in picture because it was so bad) Initially the noodles were amazing, and had lots of flavor. I think the greasy thick dough wrapped pork buns just heighten the flavor of oil for the remainder of the meal, to the point I couldn't eat anymore noodles. The buns were huge balls of oily dough, and the top part was slightly raw. I couldn't even enjoy the filling because it was so greasy. The shrimp dumplings had no flavor, it was as if they bought frozen dumplings you would normally see at a Chinese buffet. Food wise, the noodles were ok. But the sauces were a saving grace for the lack of flavor & grease. The servers barely came to our table, but I will give props to their bus boy. They helped us more than the servers. Ambiance wise, its a very tight restaurant. We had to move because we were so close to a couple, we practically shared a table. Our table did not have napkins or utensils like the others did, so we actually asked the other tables for their SPARES!

Yelp
We came on a Monday night and I was pleasantly surprised at how busy it was. I really liked the ambiance, the food came out fast and our favorite dish was the soup dumplings. Will be coming back!

Yelp
Flew in for Boston Marathon. Found this place on yelp and great reviews. Busy Thursday night. Did Yelp reservation. Worked perfect. Menu is huge. Our goal was some steamed buns and go from there. Great friendly service. Nice place. Large tables n booths and smaller two tops. It's busy at 9pm still. The selections came dl hot and fresh. Had to take a few minutes to start to eat. Jasmine tea perfect. No alcohol. The buns were perfect. Steamed, meat so tasty and nothing overly chewy as buns can be. The scallion pancake is amazing. The meat, the pancake the texture is awesome. They have a fresh fish tank that holds crabs n lobsters. Don't miss this place when you are in Cambridge. Just 10 min from Harvard.

Yelp
I always find myself wanting Chinese food on Mondays when my go-to place is closed. I decided to order from Dumpling House for the 2nd time. Ordered the udon Shanghai, salt & pepper wings, pork fried rice and crab Rangoon. Food arrived fast and was piping hot. The Udon Shanghai was once again outstanding. If you are into texture (and flavor), order this. The noodles are delicious and chewy, lots of Smokey flavor, great noodles to meat and veggie ratio. The spicy salt & pepper wings were extremely well packaged. I appreciated that they ventilated the container so that the wings arrived hot but still really crispy. Great flavor and addictive spice. I don't like spicy food but I really enjoyed the 1 wing I could tolerate. And I thought the price was fair for the portion, 10 pieces (5 whole wings). Pork fried rice, not going to lie, I was disappointed and kind of put off when I first opened the container. This is not your stereotypical pork fried rice. The rice was white and I instantly got a whiff of something fishy, which confused me. I thought they sent me the wrong dish, I tried it anyway and discovered that the fishy smell was fish sauce and that the rice was super flavorful and fresh. Lots of garlic flavor. I was surprised I liked it so much, very different from the average pork fried rice. The crab Rangoon were disappointing, they tasted fine but were tiny and the price is way to high for the portion, Overall, this place is making good quality, freshly made, flavorful food. It's not going to satisfy that craving for greasy, naughty, American Chinese food (or give you the same bang for your buck) but if you're open to something new, this is it.

Yelp
I'm glad we stopped by here for w quick lunch before leaving MA. The food is good, service is polite and the place clean. We got the soup dumplings, pan fried buns, vegetables soup and Chinese hamburger. Everything tasted good. The dumplings were flavorful and juicy, the vegetables tofu soup had fresh veggies and tasty light broth. I thought the burger was a unique item. It was a flat bun, grilled and filled with tender pork belly pieces and spicy pepper sauce and cilantro. Overall, good choice in authentic Chinese food.

Yelp
This place is so delicious!! We have been here twice now and it feels like it was better the 2'd time! We ordered all apps bc that is what I love and shared them until our bellies were full. I'm obsessed with soup dumplings and they were on point. They came out quickly and we devoured them. We also got the hot and sour soup, regular pork dumplings, scallion pancakes and crab Rangoon. Ambiance is always super busy in the evening with a mix of college students and adults. Love this place

Yelp
This is the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Boston. The food was great and service was quick. I highly recommend the soup dumplings (the pork or lobster are the best). The scallion pancakes are stuffed with beef and crispy on the outside. They have unique dishes that are fun to try like the "stinky tofu". It's an acquired taste but an authentic dish. All tables were taken on a Thursday night and it was pretty lively. I highly recommend checking this place out for some good eats around Cambridge.

Yelp
Had a great experience here. The reservation system is a waitlist online and it goes by pretty fast. Waited for about 10 minutes before we were seated. It gets BUSY in here but for a good reason. The soup dumplings were delicious and they had other yummy options. The service is also amazing and super fast. Will have to come back asap to try all the other dishes they offer.

Yelp
I have fond memories of this place from college but recently went back and it wasn't as wonderful as I remember it to be. It's good and definitely solid, but there are probably other places in Boston with better value, portions, and taste. Regardless, it's quite popular even on a Thursday night. Food came out decently fast. I enjoyed the sliced beef in rolls the most I think of all the dishes I ordered. They have a Yelp system that you can use to reserve a spot in line, however you can only be seated if your entire party is present. Tables can only be reserved in advance over phone if you have a party greater than 7.

Yelp
My recent visit to Dumpling House was an absolute delight! I came here based on the glowing reviews for their soup dumplings, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The pork and crab soup dumplings were heavenly--filled with flavorful broth and tender meat. I also tried the sliced fish Szechuan style and Chinese broccoli with garlic. Both dishes were bursting with flavor and just perfect amount of spice. A helpful tip: we utilized the live wait feature on Yelp and checked in with the host upon arrival. This saved us from a lengthy wait, as the place was bustling with activity--there were large crowds both inside and outside the building. If you're a fan of authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine, Dumpling House is a must-visit. The soup dumplings alone are worth the trip. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be returning for more of their delectable offerings!

Yelp
There was a wait once we arrived. I've heard such great things about this restaurant so i was excited to try it. I was so disappointed. The restaurant is a little old fashioned which is perfectly fine but i was expecting the food to be great due to its popularity. Cumin Lamb- 1/5 - i was so shocked when i saw this. the cumin lamb was drenched in oil and the lamb was so fried up it looked dry. You can tell the lamb wasn't fresh and really old. there was so much fat on the meat it made the dish inedible to eat, not to mention it was extremely salty. i would say this is the worst cumin lamb i've ever had Northern Style Cold Noodles - 3/5 - the presentation of the food was a bit off. there was way to much sesame for this dish. the noodles were way to chewy. the noodles were also not cold it was room temperature making me question how they have been storing the ingredients. the cucumbers however added the freshness you needed from the dish. Sautéed Taiwan Noodles - 2/5 - another dish that was drenched in oil. i don't understand how much oil they have stored. it tasted ok but it was so greasy and the chicken was bland. i would not recommend coming to this restaurant if you want authentic Chinese food.

Yelp
Dumpling House is legit! The star of the show here is really the dumplings. This time, we had the Chicken and Cabbage Dumplings, which were delicious, but I would recommend going with traditional Soup Dumplings with Pork. Although steamed, the dumplings still had an amazing flavor, without being too heavy. We also tried two noodle dishes - the Sautéed Flat Noodles with Beef and the Sautéed Rice Cake with Chicken. Both dishes were pretty sizable. Personally, I preferred the noodles to the rice cakes. I thought the noodles had the perfect texture, but the rice cakes were a bit softer, whereas I usually prefer them to be chewy. The restaurant was pretty crowded, so I'd recommend coming early. It's a big spot, though, so there's plenty of room for many parties. Recommend if you're looking for Chinese food outside of Chinatown!

Yelp
We came here for a late Sunday dinner and it was busier than expected. They have a good amount of seating and also do a ton of take out. There were a couple tables open so we were seated immediately. It was cozy inside and didn't feel too crowded. We ordered the Szechuan style fish, rice cakes, wonton in chili oil and the mini soup dumplings. The soup dumpling wrapping was a bit thick, but the pork was flavorful. The wonton in chili oil is sooo good. The wontons were chewy and it came topped with chili oil, garlic, shredded cucumbers, carrots, and cilantro. The fresh chopped vegetables balanced the oiliness of the wontons well. The rice cakes tasted like home cooking, although the pork had a little bit of an aftertaste. I liked that the fish in the Szechuan fish filet was not breaded but the dish fell short. It ended up having a hint of sweet from the cabbage. The sauce is very thin, more of a broth. I expected it to be more savory.. probably wouldn't get the dish again tbh... Overall had a good experience! Would definitely return to try all the other dishes on the menu. They have a lunch special too!
google avatar

Meiyi Y.

Yelp
The sliced beef in rolls was decent. The scallion pancake was very crispy but was lacking in flavor. It could benefit from a side of sauce. The smoke duck was amazing! It was a bit of the saltier side but the meat was tender. I would order it again!

M R.

Yelp
Tasty food with lots of choices for noodles or non-noodle dishes. Better for take out than eat in. Reasonable prices.

Yelp
I visited here on a Friday evening with a group of three people. There wasn't a wait at 5:45pm, but when we left around 7pm, the line was out the door. The prices are alright for a typical Chinese sit-down restaurant, but I DO NOT recommend any rice or noodle dishes. We ordered vegetable fried rice, and it came out very bland and... moist. It didn't seem like it was cooked and seasoned enough. However, the dumplings were good, and the crispy spicy chicken was great as well. I don't recommend the Mapo Tofu here, but it wasn't the worst (just alright). However, the servers were extremely nice and patient, despite the restaurant being busy. Great service, just alright food & normal prices. Expect to spend around $16-20 per dish here.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was delicious. I loved every part of my meal and the restaurant itself looked pretty clean and nice. It was definitely busy and I could see why! The only thing I'd say is that the service seemed a little subpar but it could have been due to how busy they were. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
Amazing food! Chinatown went way downhill and this has been a great replacement. Even better!!
google avatar

Yelp
I don't know if they take reservations but there was a short queue for a table on Saturday night! This place is popping and very popular. Ordered the Xiao long bao and lamb cumin and both were amazing and tasted very fresh. The staff was really nice and attentive. Prices are great for the quantity and quality of food. Will definitely come back soon.

Yelp
The dumpling house was great! The service was terrific. Just a fun place with great food!

Yelp
Solid Chinese food in the area! Recommend getting: - soup dumplings: very flavorful and juicy - braised eggplant w/ basil: the sauce is delicious, you'll definitely want some rice with this - basically any noodle or dumpling based dish! For the Westlake Minced Beef Soup, we were recommended the medium size for a party of 2 and it was 4 bowls worth of soup! Wish we had gotten the small size instead. Service was actually really great!!
google avatar

Gretchen B.

Yelp
Pretty hit or miss but I tried it today after a long while and it was decent. The dumplings we got were ok and we got a noodle dish w/ pork that was ok. Service was efficient & friendly.

Yelp
Authentic Chinese cuisine smack in the middle between Central and Harvard on Mass Ave. We came as a party of 2 on a Friday night without reservation. Street parking was a little difficult to find and it was a packed full house. We had to wait for about 15 minutes which was perfect to look over their extremely comprehensive menu. When we were seated we already knew our order and was able to quickly place it. We ordered the pork and leek dumplings, beef and celery dumplings, twice cooked pork, and the wok-tossed lamb. The dumplings were thick and juicy, served with their special house sauce and definitely had that handmade feel to them. I found them to be well balanced - not too much dough and just enough filling. The twice cooked pork and the lamb were quite spicy in comparison and we had to order two bowls of rice to balance it out. The pork is thinly sliced and I thought was better than the lamb but they were both good. At first it seemed pricey but the portions are extremely generous and in retrospect ordered way too much for 2 people (we were eating leftovers the next two days). And because the menu is so large we definitely are coming back to try their other interesting dishes. tldr; authentic Chinese restaurant with a huge menu and generous portions. A loose (and kind of cringe tbh) analogy is its like the Cheesecake Factory of Chinese food.

Yelp
My friends and I didn't have high expectations but heard that Dumpling House was better than the other dumpling competitor nearby. Our expectations were already really low, but we were still disappointed by the dumplings we ordered here. The only reason why I gave this restaurant a 3/5 is because one of the options we got were decent and the only thing we'd recommend if you were to check out Dumpling House. A29. SHANDONG STYLE PAN FRIED DUMPLINGS - 12.95 These dumplings were huge! Besides the fact that the skin was 3x too thick and the ratio of skin to meat was really off, we really enjoyed these pan fried dumplings. The pork & shrimp were well seasoned. If you were to come here, we'd recommend the Shandong pan fried dumplings. Also, note that there is a lot of oil so your dumplings will be sitting on a plate of grease. A30. MINI SOUP DUMPLINGS WITH PORK - 12.95 Each order came with 7 XLBs that didn't quite look right. They were pretty big and were super flat and sad looking - unlike the small and plump XLBs you'd normally expect. The taste was bland and below average. The pork wasn't flavored well and there was barely any soup in the dumplings - none of that satisfying soup spillage. The skin was also pretty thick. I wouldn't recommend the XLBs here because they're not good. A37. PORK & LEEK DUMPLINGS (STEAMED) - 11.50 Each order came with 10 dumplings. Again, extremely thick skin to the point where it was pure dough and carbs and not much meat. The meat was also bland. However, it is the better dumpling option compared to the pork & cabbage dumplings - the leek was pretty tasty. Still, I would not recommend. A38. PORK & CABBAGE DUMPLINGS (STEAMED) - 11.50 Again, 10 dumplings per order. Pork & cabbage dumplings are normally my favorite but the combination of extra thicc dumpling skin, tasteless meat and sloppily chopped napa cabbage, this one left me extremely unimpressed and sad. The napa cabbage was chunky and the texture felt off to me as well. Highly would not recommend. G11. SAUTÉED STRING BEANS WITH DRIED SHRIMPS This is your typical & standard vegetable dish when you eat dumplings. There was nothing great or bad about it. Green beans were fine but could use a bit more seasoning and garlic.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place! Authentic dumplings and food to die for! It was extremely busy but we were able to be sat pretty quick since it's a larger restaurant. The staff was very attentive and every single table was full which means you know it's going to be good. The prices were so reasonable and the menu had a ton of options. The soup dumplings were unlike any I've ever had. Full of delicious broth and stuff perfectly with meat. I wish I didn't live across the country because this would be my go to spot!
google avatar

Liberty D.

Yelp
The seafood dumplings steamed was very tasty. Highly recommended. I also ordered the hot and sour soup and it was not so great. It was very spicy and really unable to finish it. It's unfortunate because I really enjoy a nice hot and sour soup!

Wai Man P.

Yelp
Not a place that you will notice if you drive past. This place was recommended by my friend who studied here. Lots of selection for authentic Chinese cuisine. If you are a spicy food lover this is definitely the place. If you are daring enough do try the "Fermented Toufu" (direct translation it's smelly beancurd.) Definitely will return for more.
google avatar

Om L.

Yelp
Food tastes good but is drenched in MSG. I had terrible sleep and an MSG head ache after eating here. Very rude service - no one speaks a word of English but the manager. Bathrooms were absolutely filthy - urine all over the floors and toilet clogged. Will not be eating here again.
google avatar

Jason L.

Yelp
Great soup dumplings! I usually get the mini soup dumplings and shandong pan fried dumplings. The inside of the soup dumplings is juicy and flavorful, and the shandong pan fried dumplings are crispy. I would give this 4 stars, but bumping down to 3 because I've had hair in my food twice.
google avatar

Kristen D.

Yelp
We came on a Sunday night and this place was absolutely bustling! The soup dumplings with pork were probably the biggest highlight of our meal along with some massive crab rangoons! I was not a fan of the general gao's chicken because the sauce on the chicken had a snot like consistency (sorry no other way to describe it, just skip it though). We really came for the dumplings though, and they did not disappoint, which is why my rating remains high!

Yelp
On a Saturday evening, two friends and I decided to go to Dumpling House, searching for some Chinese but not-Sichuan food for once. At 7pm, we managed to snag one of the few remaining tables, receiving seating immediately. The party's order consisted of the following: - Mini Soup Dumplings with Pork | $12.95 - Mini Soup Dumplings with Pork & Crabmeat | $13.95 - Sauteed Noodle with Beef & Watercress in Sa-Cha (Satay) Sauce | $12.95 - 3 Cups Chicken | $16.95 The soup dumplings had decent fillings, but the wrappers were too thick and a touch harder than desired. The texture needs to be more delicate. 3* The sauteed noodles had a simple, homely, and delicious flavor. After all, Sa-Cha saltiness and umami pairs well with a lot. However, it was far too oily, even factoring in that the Sa-Cha sauce has copious amounts of oil already (much like chili oil). 3* The 3 cups chicken's sauce tasted far too sweet and salty. There was also insufficient basil, which is normally used to provide contrast and temper the marinade. Given basil's relatively strong flavor, this shows how overpowering the marinade was. 3* Overall, this could have been better, but it could have been worse.
google avatar

Jen L.

Yelp
Pork dumplings have really thick skin, the pigs ears in chili oil is missing some cilantro and green onion garnish. The ginger steamed fish was good, I almost ate the whole plate myself. Their fried tofu was also good, but the place was mediocre at best. Overall spent $80 with tips, so this is definitely not cheap Chinese food.

Yelp
Quaint restaurant close to the Harvard Square area. It's an authentic restaurant with a mix of Asian and non-Asian customers. We didn't get a chance to try any dumplings and just sampled their lunch specials which were quite good. We had kung pao chicken and beef with mixed vegetables. We liked the beef with mixed vegetables very much. The kung pao chicken was pretty good too but I think I would try something else on their lunch special menu next time since it's a pretty standard dish. Lunch specials were about $11-$12 each and come with rice and a soup. It really hit the spot and was a tasty meal. Service and decor were great also. Servers were friendly and their are lots of tables and natural light. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely come back to try their dinner menu!

Yelp
I love a packed house that still has space for me with no wait :) came on a busy Monday holiday. Ordered: -Pork soup dumplings yessssssssssssss just get these over and over again -Crystal shrimp dumplings were too fishy, like the shrimp wasn't the freshest, didn't finish -Chicken & cabbage dumplings were good, but paled in comparison to the soup dumplings -Cucumber in garlic sauce paired nicely with the hot and spicy food -Ice cucumber sake was literally undrinkable ‍

Yelp
I'm from the West Coast and am visiting Boston for work. I needed a quick lunch and Dumpling House was available on Door Dash. I ordered their spicy wontons and it's one of the best I've ever had. I'm not sure if it's an East Coast thing or just a Dumpling House thing, but I've never had it with veggies in it before! Cucumbers, carrots and cilantro made this a complete meal. Loved it and will likely order it again tomorrow for lunch!

Yelp
A menu, with great variety of choices. In general their dumplings skins are way way too thick - the XLBs had wrappers that were too thick and a bit too doughy - could be much more delicate. These are hard to make, and this is a common complaint I get with XLBs in this town. The whole fish with tofu was decent but could have taken on a more interesting flavor. The fish meat sort of fell apart and didn't seem like it balanced softness with a sense of integrity of the meat. The chicken with vegetables was well stir-fried, but the meat slices were too large. Not sure what the distinguishing flavor was either. The spicy sliced pork came off as overly greasy, and not particularly flavorful. The spicy beef tendon with chili sauce had a much too monolithic flavor, sitting in too much oil, without enough mala or garlic flavor to balance out the oil. Nice that they have tables suitable for large groups. Service was quick and efficient. Overall a decent place to get Chinese food in the Cambridge area, but specific dishes pale in comparison to other areas of the country.

Yelp
The place didnt seem so clean as they say check the bathroom of a place you eat and imagine what the kitchen looks like since you cant see it inside yet the bathroom is a place you have access to. I believe the people in Boston believe something is good because they have very few options are jaded. The food was just on par but bec of cleanliness being suspect i give it 2 stars. The staff isnt so friendly as well. They just operate like an assembly line at foxconn.

Yelp
This place is the best choice you can make in any given evening. These mini juicy buns are next level and they don't break apart on the journey to the spoon. Incredible flavors and swift staff! I would absolutely go back.

Yelp
Order from here frequently and have never been disappointed so far. Food is both delicious and generously portioned so one order of 2 dishes will make several meals.

Yelp
I loooooooove dumplings. So I was super excited to eat here. A place dedicated to dumplings! Yeaaaaaaaaaaa. But.... I was quite disappointed. Was there a good amount of meat in the dumplings? Yes. Good portion. But the flavor of the proteins were not hitting. No flavor! The chilli oil dumplings were bland. The fried dumplings had too much of an oily taste and residual that stuck to my palette. The skins of all the dumplings were too thick!! Ratio was not working out.
