Handmade dumplings are the draw—pan-fried, steamed, and soup-filled—alongside dan dan noodles and small plates. Popular with families and students, it’s a go-to for xiao long bao and comforting bowls verified by steady recent reviews.

OH yeah

Google
20250817::very surprised how busy and fast the food came out which is great. food was pretty good for being outside new york city. had the Singapore rice noodle(a+), other people in my party had our standard dishes and enjoyed it. mei fun, beef chow fun, and shrimp lo mein.

I come here every time I'm in Rochester because the food is so deliciously on-point! Schezuan Wontons are my go to...so numbingly spicy. But today's winner was the dumpling special pork and corn in a squid-ink wrapper. I'll be dreaming about this, and wishing I ate too many of them! Pork buns are also excellent. Never had anything bad or even meh here. So get what sounds good. You can't go wrong. Service is always friendly and efficient, the people who work front of house do a great job.

Google
We had lunch here with high hopes,. The service was very good and attentive, but the food was mixed. The spring rolls and wonton soup are excellent, but all of the bao (buns) items were extremely overly doughy and some even felt raw. Very little filling on both the red bean bao and bbq beef bao. The spicy dumplings had an awful flavor to them and were inedible. The shrimp shumai had a very fishy taste. Most disturbing, however, were the wooden cups in which the tea was served. I’ve never seen that done at any restaurant and I had some reservations about cleanliness… Then after about 20 minutes, I looked over at my husband‘s cup and was horrified to see a lipstick stain on it… Not mine, either. This is emblematic of why wooden cups and bowls should not be used in restaurants settings. 😖

We came on a Saturday evening and it was packed but we got a table within 15 minutes and our servers were great! The BBQ pork buns were delightfully thick & fluffy and full of sweet flavorful bbq meat inside. The pork xiao long bao tasted fresh and were so fun to eat. We really liked these buns & xiao long bao, and also the Szechuan flavors we ordered: the dan dan noodles were spicy but delicious, tasted authentic with that mouth numbing spice, and the Szechuan wontons were really good too, very mouth numbing. The beef flat rice noodle dish is sweet/salty and tasty, while the sweet mango stir fry was spicy sweet. The only dish we didn’t enjoy was the Lan Zhou spicy beef noodle bowl, which had a bland broth and meat that was mostly chewy gristle—hardly any good edible beef. The bathrooms are in need of cleaning and better quality toilet paper.

Google
Wonderful food. The Pork and shrimp Bao was absolutely delicious! The pork belly was cooked perfectly and the pan fried house dumplings were amazing! First trip into Rochester but this will be one of our stops when we do come back.

Google
Go here for the amazing food at an awesome price point! While the staff is friendly they were a bit inattentive, our assigned waiter never returned to the table after he took our order until he brought us our bill we had already paid for through another server. I had to go to the front and ask for water to be brought to our table. I will absolutely return to this establishment and enjoy their delicious food but I recommend heading in with realistic expectations that service has some opportunities for growth.

This was the first time we had gone to this restaurant. I think they had renovated it or maby a new owner took over because I remember the dumpling house to be different. (That's how long it's been since we checked out the area) My husband wasn't to sure because there was a drive through on the side of the building and thought that was strange but when you walk in it's a totally not what you would think and the vibe is very chill. As soon as you walk in you are greeted and are shown where to sit. The music is up beat dance vibe. There is a card on the table you can scan with your phone for the menu but if your like me ide rather just look at a menu which they have as well. There is a good selection between appetizers and soups and noodles to main dishes. We ordered two appetizers and they came out fast! The entre my husband ordered was the general tsao and he loved it! He said it was the best general tsao hes ever had and the spice level was perfect! You don't really have just one server who ever comes over to clear plates or brings your food asks how everything is or if you need anything. Everyone is very friendly and prompt! Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

Google
THIS FOOD IS AMAZING!!!! The servers were so sweet and gracious. Food came in less than 10 minutes to the table and hot, I love that! Vibe was incredible in this place it was so good we went 2 days back to back when we visited. DEFINITELY coming back here again. It’s literally the best, the food is so well seasoned & flavor was on point. And the portions are very worth the price. My family and I loved it here!

Yelp
Great dumplings and conveniently located in Henrietta, NY. We have tried noodle dishes and many of the dumplings.

Yelp
My kids love this place! They love the crab rangoon, dumplings, sesame chicken, and fried rice. I like the portion sizes and menu variety so that they can try multiple things versus just a few big dishes, but the option is available. We primarily get various dumplings, shumai and pork fried rice. The soup dumplings are okay, however, the ginger dipping sauce it comes with is wonderful. The handmade dumplings are good. I'm biased when it comes to the steamed bao buns because my mom's is the best, but we did try the pork buns once. Things can add up just like dimsum and our family of 5 can get up to $70+ if we're super hungry. Overall, it's a good place to try many dishes with plenty of seating, parking, and fairly quick service!

Yelp
Ordered thru doordash. Missing $20 item restaurant do not take responsibility for these missing items even though they are the one who bags the items No help from them regarding this. Denied refund from doordash

Yelp
Love this food My daughter heard about it so we ordered food from the place for delivery. Almost everything we ordered was somewhat better than average. It is for that reason I gave a four as opposed to three stars. I ordered their wonton soup for starters which had more of a beef than a chicken broth. Enjoy their soup just wish they had more different types of soups to choose from. I also ordered chicken fried rice, basil style. It was good, I go to other places that make the same, and it was as good, but not better, but it was worthy of four stars. Possibly my personal favorite was their scallion pancake. We had several different dumplings all were enjoyable We will definitely consider ordering again. There was nothing not to enjoy.

Yelp
Pretty good Chinese food. We ordered the chicken lo mein, peanut noodles with chicken, pork and napa steamed dumplings, shrimp dumplings, bbq pork buns, and egg custard buns Best: pork and Napa steamed dumplings. Filled fully and dipping sauce enhanced the flavors. Really good size Worst: egg custard buns. I wouldn't even call them egg custard buns because you open it and it looks like neon yellow gelatin inside. We only took the remaining three buns with us because my 20mo daughter likes the bun part so I plan to remove the "custard" and just let her eat the bun. The peanut noodles were actually really delicious. We didn't prefer the included lime with it so would advise to try some with and without the lime. The lo mein was real good. Our daughter at a lot of it. I would definitely order it again. The bbq pork bun was not bad but nothing special. The har gow/shrimp dumplings were fine but also nothing special. I am excited to come back on our next Costco run (we're from Buffalo) to try their Dan Dan noodles, zhajiangmien, lan zhou spicy noodles, and their rice plates!

Yelp
I was eager to try many of the items on the menu at OG Dumpling House, and some were bigger hits than others. My favorites included the Xiao Long Bao ($9 for 5), Szechuan Wontons ($8), and Pork & Chives pan fried dumplings ($9 for 7). Less successful dishes were the scallion pancake ($5...too thin and oily), fried calamari ($7...much too heavily breaded), and Beef Bao ($8 for 3, more potato filling than beef). Also, the white rice served with sesame chicken was dry...seemed day old and best suited for fried rice. Okay, so maybe not surprising that the best items at OG Dumpling House were...the dumplings. The restaurant looks like a former fast food restaurant. The ambiance is casual, though they do have wait staff that was attentive and helpful. 4 stars if you stick to the dumplings, but overall, hard to consider this better than a 3 stars experience.
google avatar

Natasha Y.

Yelp
Service was amazing, very clean restaurant, lo mein was perfect, dumplings were amazing especially the pork & chive pan fried ones. The bao buns weren't good tho, dry pork with way too much over powering hoisin sauce. The scallion pancakes were too oily with no flavor. I'll def be back for the dumplings tho.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
Love coming here for the pork xiao long baos. They're the best ones in Rochester. The calamari is very good and we love ordering the pad see ew and sesame chicken. I will say the service could be better since it's a bit slow
google avatar

Darryl H.

Yelp
Love this place. The steamed pork buns are excellent. We tried soup dumplings and fried pork dumplings and both were good. The beef brisket noodles were great, the broth was delicious, but they're pretty authentic in that there is a lot of cartilage and fat included. I liked it, but my dinner companion was a little skeeved out. Service seems a bit disorganized but our waitress was nice. The atmosphere feels a bit like a concerted fast food joint that they've redecorated, buts nice for a quick lunch spot. I'd definitely go back.
google avatar

Yelp
Good food, service and it was very busy at lunch. Greta place I wish I had closer to me.

Yelp
We love Xiao Long Bao dumplings so we ordered both Xiao Long Bao and Crab & Pork Xiao Long Bao. Both were delicious with a ton of soup inside each dumpling. We also ordered the Pork, Shrimp, and Chive dumplings and couldn't believe how much filling they squeezed into each dumpling. I also ordered the Pork Lo Mein with Flat Rice Noodles and loved it. The noodles had a great texture and we got lots of pork. I haven't had a dish like this before with an option for Flat Rice Noodles so I was really happy about that, it's great for people with gluten allergies. On top of the great food, the service here was incredibly fast. We waited less than five minutes for our noodles, which was quite shocking considering how fresh the dish tasted. We hope to return here someday for more delicious dumplings!

Yelp
I wish I had the money to order from here all the time. Their dumplings are amazing. I love their soup dumplings. The crab Rangoons are also extremely delicious. And the chicken udon was super tasty. Seriously I would eat here like once a week if I could but it's pretty expensive. Not the coziest indoor seating, I will probably be doing takeout from now on because of that. And they even have a drive-through for takeout orders. It's almost too convenient lol.

Peter R.

Yelp
So disappointed! I really want to like this place as I love dumplings and Chinese food in general but this is the second time with poor results. Ordered online thru Yelp which was super convenient, came in picked up and could go. First issue - had to ask for chop sticks. I mean cmon, it's a dumpling house. Ordered steamed dumplings but honestly they tasted microwaved. Also the little dipping sauce container in with the dumplings leaked so there was nothing to dip in when I opened it. Then I also got a hot n sour soup which was just kind of bland and generic tasting almost with a more sweet and sour vibe.
google avatar

Diane S.

Yelp
Omg, the flavor of the shumai is awful. It's a bland mix of yuck inside. The icky little shrimp on top is poor construction and Lo quality The Szechuan wontons are better, not by much. Never again

Jamie V.

Yelp
I was a little hesitant to try this but is was actually really good. The soup dumplings were good as were the steamed and pan fried dumplings. We also had bbq pork bao and they were great as were the og peanut noodles. Nothing fancy but the food was really good.
google avatar

milagros l.

Yelp
Dumpling House has a reputation within the Henrietta area for having delicious dumplings and I can confidently confirm this. The dumplings and udon were very tasty. The service was quick despite the large amount of people within the restaurant.
google avatar

Thuy L.

Yelp
This spot is in an unassuming little plaza, but it was phenomenal! The staff is super friendly and quick, the inside has a nice little vibe to it. Definitely recommend coming with a couple people so you can order lots of little things and share. We had 4 people- ordered OG peanut noodles, scallion pancake, pan fried chive dumplings, pork xiao long bao, crab rangoon, sesame chicken (as a safety for our more cautious friends) and bbq pork bao. Only a little bit of leftovers because everything was so good. I'd order everything again- but especially the xiao long bao. Instead of sweet and sour served with the scallion pancake, ask for the black vinegar. It helps cut the oiliness of the pancake a bit better. Loooved this spot- it was busy, casual and had delicious scratch made food at good prices.

Yelp
Wowza!!! we came in after lunchtime on a weekend to find the place packed! Yummmm!! We sample three types of dumplings, and the pork belly buns The House dumplings were beautiful with a tint of green on , part of the dough and a juicy pork and vegetable filling. The shumai were tasty, but you can buy frozen at the Asian grocery store that are just as good. The soup dumplings however were the crown jewel... salty fatty broth, ensconced in a pillow of soft dumpling dough with a bite of meat in the middle... Order your own don't share!

Izzy C.

Yelp
Delicious. Service was great, food was excellent. Highly recommend the fried rice and pork dumplings.

Fern P.

Yelp
I posted a review before and nothing has changed! I drive out of my way to get their food! Sometimes I even pay the extra to get it delivered. Why? Because I crave it, I've got to have it. If you haven't tried this place you really must. Order on their website for fast, easy pick-up or order through Door Dash. Crab Rangoons, steamed vegetable dumplings, scallion pancakes, steamed bao, Dan Dan noodles, general tsao's chicken, sesame balls, beef lo mein...you can't go wrong! It's all delicious!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place and omg.. it was very good. It's a cute place and very clean. We got there and the staff was very nice and friendly. He sat us and asked if it was our first time there and briefly went over the menu. Staff was walking around every few minutes to check on the customers. We ordered the pork soup dumplings, they had a good flavor and just the right amount of juice inside. The dough was not to thick or thin. You have to try them. We also got the BBQ pork Bao, they were good, you can tell the dough was fresh. It was too much for me but the BBQ pork was very flavorful. We also got the chicken lo Mein and sesame chicken all the ingredients were so fresh. The sesame chicken was crispy on the outside with tender chicken on the inside. So Good! I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
First Chinese restaurant in the Rochester area I would want to eat at again! At risk of sounding like a snob (I guess I am one now), I usually avoid Asian restaurants when visiting family in Rochester, because they tend to not be very good. However, this one is quite legit. I've lived in China long-term and now live in a majority Asian American city in California. I would say the food here is on par with any successful Chinese restaurant in the Bay Area. Definitely hope to return soon.
google avatar

Tina C.

Yelp
Solid food, has a few good authentic Chinese options such as beef noodle soup and soup dumplings. But doesn't have as much variety for authentic Chinese, and there was nothing too special about the dumplings. Most of them were good but nothing to be excited about. Definitely a good Chinese spot for Rochester. Service is good, and the place was clean.
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
The food here is generally pretty good; hot and fresh. It's a little more pricey than some of the other places in the area and service can be a little slow at times. While the floors and tables kept clean, decorations need to be dusted. The air ducts need a seriously good cleaning. I wouldn't want to sit near one, who knows what would fall into my food.
google avatar

Sara D.

Yelp
I ordered the Pork Bao, Shrimp Tempura and Brisket & Rice Bowl. The Pork Bao comes in sets of 3 pieces. Meaty filling and slight flavor. I needed some kind of dumpling dipping sauce. The Shrimp Tempura also a set of 3 slim shrimps, golden fried and deliciously crispy. I used their dipping sauce for everything. The big disappointment was the brisket. Tough pieces of meat, lots on tendons( inedible) 3 pieces of baby bok choy in a brown sauce. It was a large dish, but devoid of flavor. For dessert I got the Chocolate marble Ice Cream. Hot Green Tea complimented the meal

Yelp
Having visited this restaurant a few times now, there are many items on their menu that I'm fond of and ones I tend to stay away from. The items I would order/recommend outweigh the ones I wouldn't order. You can't go wrong with the xiaolongbao, I personally go with the pork & crab. Do take extra caution when picking these up from the paper underneath as it tends to stick and could possibly break the dumpling skin where you'll lose your soup. I've found the shumai quite tasty as well. The Szechuan wontons are also a favourite. These are slightly smaller than your average wonton which is perfectly fine as they are tender and delicious with a slight kick from the sauce. I did order the stir-fried udon with shrimp for the first time tonight and I thought it was great. The shrimp were tender and not overcooked, the mushroom, zucchini and onions were also a nice addition to this noodle dish. A couple appetizers I highly recommend are the calamari which will include a few clumps of tentacles as well which I love, and the crab rangoon which has a flavourful filling both accompanied with a tasty, sweet chili sauce. Another would be their pork belly buns. The pork belly itself didn't contain a thick layer of fat which I prefer, and the fried onions and vegetables on the inside gave a nice crunchy texture to these buns. The first thing that jumps out on the menu right at the top are the homemade dumplings. As enticing as these looked, I've had them a couple times and I've found the skin to be too thick and doughy for my liking although the filling is fine. Another item I'm not fond of are the steamed buns (bao). Again, I find the outside to be too thick and I've found the amount of filling lacking. Almost 60% of the inside of the bao was empty. Other than those critiques, I still happily return and look forward to my next visit.
google avatar

Ted B.

Yelp
Very fresh and tasty food im a casual sitdown atmosphere. The crab rangoons were our favorite and the shrimp xia long bao or soup dumplings were my other favorite. The staff was very welcoming. We will definitely go back and try more. Need something a little more spicy next time!
google avatar

Don W.

Yelp
Worth an hour long drive from Buffalo? YES. But apparently as of May 2024 they will be opening a location in the Buffalo area on Niagara Falls Blvd. ALL of the food we had at this Rochester location was excellent as was our informative and pleasant server. Hoping their new Buffalo location is as good. My guess is that this much anticipated expansion will be overwhelmingly successful and fill a gap for dim sum in WNY.
google avatar

Danielle S.

Yelp
I ordered the Flat Noodle with Beef, Scallion pancake, and pork and chive pan fried dumplings via Uber Eats. The order was ready within 15 minutes for pickup. The food was fresh and tasted great. My favorite was the scallion pancake, which came with a sweet and sour sauce instead of the soy/vinegar I'm used to. It was still very good! The pancake was crispy and not overly oily. The dumplings were a big size and had lots of filling. The flavor was fantastic, I just wish they were a *little* bit crispier on the fried side. The noodle dish was also delicious. It was simple but perfect. I love the flavor of the sauce and the beef was plentiful and perfectly cooked. I enjoyed my meal and would like to return for sit down service soon!

Yelp
OG dumpling house is one of the best Asian restaurants I have been to! Their dumplings are hand made, whether getting a fried dumpling or a soup dumpling, you will be impressed with the quality of dough and flavor these dumplings bring. The service is always great, they always make my wife and I feel very welcomed! If you dine in on a Friday night or weekend, expect for the place to be packed with customers, even so they serve the food on time and we are always seated fast. The inside is not super fancy, and I like that. The interior is made to give a place for their great dumplings, no fancy tables or chairs, just great food! I am a regular here and will be until this place closes. I can order 2 meals with 2-3 appetizers and drinks for under 60 bucks, you can't beat that in today's world!
google avatar

Justin E.

Yelp
I feel like this might be the best Asian food restaurant in Rochester....the place is super casual but the food is as good if not better than an upscale restaurant. It totally blew my expectations out of the water. I guess I was expecting it to be just dumplings, which was my reason for not trying them sooner. Upon reading The menu though, I was pleasantly surprised. I had come for the dumplings but instead ordered a variety of different traditional American Chinese dishes. The wait staff was super friendly and inviting...not pushy at all...food came beyond quick. I am more of the type that likes to get takeout, and relax at home..but OG Dumpling house has made even a homebody like myself,.want to return. 5 stars.

Laura S.

Yelp
Food was alright . I had soup dumplings , some ramen and beef and broccoli . I love soup dumplings , but these tasted a bit different , the ramen was good . Both seemed more authentic .

Tammy C.

Yelp
Food and service were good. 3/4 of the restaurant was counter and fast food table. 1/4 of it was sit down with waitress but it overlooked the fast food area

Yelp
We've been here at least 8 times before. We love this place. The food always fills is with so much joy. Before I went to write this review, I read a few and I saw that some people thought some of food was bland. I'd like to ask if they have only had Americanized Chinese food, which is often jacked up on salt/sugar for the Western palette raised on fast food. Also, one reviewer said she had to use soy sauce and vinegar to "jazz up the dumplings." That is akin to saying that you need to jazz up a salad with some dressing. Ma'am, you are SUPPOSED to use the dipping sauce provided. Ok, back to our food... one of the favorite things I like to order is the fried green beans, they are like (potato) fries but with a green twist. The Xiao long bao is always a favorite of my husband. Today, we decided to try the OG Peanut Noodle w/ tofu and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The slight spice was a surprise. I love that they offer several vegetarian options, which can be tricky with "more authentic" Chinese restaurants. We met the owner lady once. We've also always had good service. The only bad thing about this place is that we live too far.
google avatar

Clinton B.

Yelp
Enjoyed the pork bao dumplings and house dumplings. Both superb. And as anyone who loves dumplings, the sauce will make or break them. Theirs was excellent. I can't wait to go back and try their udon noodle dishes and the rest of their menu. I think this is a local family restaurant that deserves 5 stars
google avatar

Olivia B.

Yelp
Food was okay. We called in our order and were able to easily pick it up through their drive through window. We tried the soup dumplings -- I'm not sure if they make them there but ours had barely any soup in them. We also tried the House Dumplings, which I enjoyed, and was my favorite of what we ordered. The OG Peanut noodles were meh. We actually ended up adding a bunch of stuff to add some flavor to the noodles at home because it was pretty bland and the noodles were mushy. Kind of pricey for the quality of food.
google avatar

Aleeda N.

Yelp
The sesame tofu was delicious! Their egg custard bao were also really good. They play the best music in there.

Lesley P.

Yelp
I'm traveling from San Diego, visiting my bfs family here. I love Asian food and there's not a lot of Asian food options here, and if there are, they're probably not rated as good. Anywho, begged my bf to stop here because I was starving and just like the sweetest guy he is, we stopped there for a late lunch. Outside looks meh but inside was clean. the smell of spices hit my nose before I opened the door, that's when I knew it was going to be good. We ordered Dan Dan noodles (10/10), house dumpling (10/10), Szechuan dumplings (10/10) but be careful it packs heat, shrimp dumplings and shumai was just meh both rated (4/10). Overall I give this place a 4.5!! Excellent customer service and food came out just on time. I'll be coming here every time I visit the family
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
Food: xiao long bao, vegetable dumpling (steamed), and vegetable bao. The skin was very fresh, but the vegetables inside were a bit bland. We added soy sauce and vinegar to jazz it up. I think if you served it with the spicy wontons sauce, it would be better. Parking: private lot.
google avatar

Scott R.

Yelp
The beef was very fatty, my baos were very undercooked, the service was donkey balls, and my party of four each got served at different times, minute gaps. I was the last to receive my sesame chicken, which they also didn't cook properly, and didn't put enough sesame sauce on the chicken. I would not recommend this place, and I am certainly never coming back. Huge waste of 100$, never again!
google avatar

Marissa N.

Yelp
We ordered a smattering of the veggie options, and everything was so good. The service was quick and friendly, the place was clean. The bathrooms tho were suspect. The toilet is pretty high and the toilet paper is real low, also the hand dryer didn't work and there were no paper towel options. Note to self n others use the restroom before or after your visit but definitely visit

Yelp
Loved my Vegetable Lomein at OG Dumpling House! The portion was bigger than I expected, and I was glad as I really loved it! The veggies were so good, and the noodles were great as well! It was so cute inside, and the service was really great! I liked that it wasn't loud, and it was easy to hear my friends who were at the table with me. They were also very good about splitting the bill, and gave us no trouble about it at all. I cannot wait to go back, it was so good!
google avatar

Savannah B.

Yelp
Love OG Dumpling House! It is inside the old Mighty Taco location, and it is a vast upgrade from the taco place. I have been here twice and have never been disappointed. I love their pork belly buns and beef bao. Both and delicious. I tried my mom's beef brisket rice as well, and that was fantastic, and I hope to order it myself on our next dinner there. All of the staff here is so friendly, and even when it is busy, they keep the restaurant moving really well. A 10/10 dumpling restaurant.
google avatar

Yelp
We haven't had such delicious dim sum for a while, Best hand-made XLB and dumpling in town! Place is causal and food is quick, my family and I picked the right choice since we are only here for a short visit. Picked the fry house dumpling, pork XLB, beef brisket (not actually beef brisket, it's beef shank) noodle, and pork bun. XLB and dumpling are amazing, and made us ordered more (shrimp XLB and one more House dumpling). Kids love the noodles, but the bun was bit of soft and mushy inside. I also had the Sichuan wonton, which may have too much vinegar in the sauce. Again Pork XLB is the best, if you really like dumpling, try the fry version, and won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
This was a nice clean establishment. The workers weren't really friendly, but provided good service. The food was very good had the pork buns which didn't have any pickled items on them, but it wasn't needed as the pork was very tasty. Never had soup dumpling before and they were very tasty. Interesting to bite into the dumpling and have the soup fill your mouth. Very good. A nice little place, id say a little expensive, but isn't everything these days.

Yelp
3.5 stars. I was really craving soup dumplings so stumbled upon this place on Yelp. We tried the szechuan wontons, crab and pork soup dumplings and a spicy lanzhou beef noodle soup. the wontons were decent but the sauce was really tasty. The crab and pork soup dumplings were done well but did not wow me unfortunately. the lanzhou beef noodle soup was also a bit of a disappointment. There was barely any spice (and the spice that was added was pure chili oil), the flavor of the broth was too light in my opinion and the beef slices were extremely lean so it was tough. At $14 I expected more out of this dish (about 1.5x price that it's usually sold at). Other than that, the restaurant is clean and nice and I can see how a lot of people would enjoy it. I may check out other places in the area before I come revisit this though.

Yelp
I've driven by this place so many times and never noticed it. But now...never again will I forget OG! The servers were really nice and fast! So professional and even with mask on you could tell they were smiling. We had a lot of food! Tried like 6 items! The General Tso Chicken was probably the best I've had in a long time! So flavorful and cooked fresh. Pork and Chive Dumplings were delicious! I will get those ever time! Pan fried of course. Scallion pancakes were amazing!!!! Never even heard of something like that but You must try!

Yelp
I love dumplings. They are literally one of my favorite foods, and would probably be on my last meal list. I'm a little picky about my dumplings, as u prefer to the thin skinned, pan fried over the thick skinned or steams style, but I'll try dumplings any place that has them. During a recent trip to Rochester, the wife and I were looking for a place to eat since we're not out that way much. We actually intended to go elsewhere and just happened to notice OG Dumpling House as we drove by and made a split second decision to go there instea. It's clearly a former fast food restaurant, but they gave it a very nice, modern remodel inside. You can basically sit yourself, but then are waited on by the employees at the front counter. We were given our menus and chose an order of fried veggie spring rolls, and order of pork and chive fried dumplings, crab rangoon, and an order of 2 chicken bao Thai style. Our good was brought pretty quickly and we we down to business. Spring rolls were great. Large, fresh made, delicious. My wife absolutely loved the crab rangoon, said they were some of the best she's ever had. We really liked the steamed baos and the dumplings were PHENOMENAL. So delicious, I could've made a meal just out of them. Prices were fair and comparable to similar restaurants and the service was very friendly. We'd absolutely go again if we were in the area.

Yelp
This came on the radar thanks to a food blogger and my friends' love of dumplings. After scoping out the menu another friend suggested we try the soup dumplings, so we did. This place is pretty unassuming, driving up weren't sure what we were looking for and walking up we joked it was a former Mighty Taco. There is a specials board near the counter, upon walking in we were offered to dine-in and be seated or order for take out. All of us being fully vaccinated decided to dine-in. Paper menus are available however you can also scan a QR code and view the menu on your phone. I wanted to sample enough where a few bites of everything was filling and I had enough to take home for later. My meal consisted of Pork Belly Buns, Scallion Pancake and Xiao Long Bao. We weren't waiting very long as our food quickly started streaming out of the kitchen. The Pork Belly Buns were bigger than they expected, at other places you'd get charged much more for the pieces of pork belly we got or served a much smaller piece. The steam bun was soft, the pork belly cooked well, it wasn't too chewy and the sauce on the little sandwich was delicious. The Scallion Pancake had a crispy skin, but was still soft on the inside, I found the pancake enjoyable alone however with with the chili oil or the sweet chili sauce that came with the order. My final item was the Xiao Long Bao or the Soup Dumpling. Served in the steamer basket with some sort of a red vinegar sauce, it is served with a traditional soup spoon that is needed because when you might in a tasty broth will be free. These steamed dumplings are pork based, the filling isn't overly seasoned however the broth is what did the trick for me. This was a truly great experience and the whole table is willing to come back and if this was in our neighborhood we'd probably be ordering frequently.
