The Best Restaurants to Celebrate New Year’s Eve in San Diego | Eater San Diego

"The casual Chinese dumpling restaurant in Encinitas has been making a splash since it opened in 2024. With a head chef from Shanghai, the soup dumplings are made with a thicker skin than Taiwanese soup dumplings. Open on New Year’s Eve (and New Year’s Day) from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., eating dumplings is a tradition, at least for the Lunar New Year. Be sure to order the pork soup dumplings, chicken wontons in chile sauce, and steamed dumplings with Kurobata pork and shrimp or vegan fillings." - Helen I. Hwang

I tried Dumpings N More last night with my husband and baby, the whole experience was amazing. I drove by this place so many times but I always thought it was an American Chinese food place, because it was not at convoy and their name highlights dumplings. But I was totally wrong, their dumplings, wonton and XiaoLongBao probably are the most authentic and delicious in San Diego! I am very honest to say that, and they are ten times better than Din Tai Fung. Also they look amazing as well, I had the colorful dumplings with various flavors, each one is fully stuffed, the skin is thin but hold the stuffer very nicely. The colors of the dumplings are made from real food, all hand made, healthy and tasty. Xiao Long Bao totally passed my expectations, the juice inside is made of real pork jelly, so it’s not only juicy but also has that kind of sticky and flavorful taste, it is amazing. The chicken wings make my husband so satisfied, it’s very crunchy outside and juicy and tender inside, it is also very flavorful, my husband said it was even better than his fav chicken wings spot Bonchon. The spicy wonton is great as well, the sauce they used makes me think of Malatang’s sauce, I can literally dip everything in it, it is made from both sesame and peanut butter, that’s why it is very flavorful and delicious. The dessert buns are cute and yummy as well, the lava stuffer tastes so satisfying and they look very nice when you opened it. We also had a cumin lamb, but we are too full to eat a lot of that, I just had a bite, the cumin flavor is strong and there are tons of lamb inside, with the price you paid, it is very worthy. I have to come back here, this restaurant becomes top 3 Chinese restaurant in my opinion. I want to try their giant steamed bun and Tan Tan noodles the next time. Plus their service is super friendly, and the restaurant itself is clean and has welcomed atmosphere. I highly recommend you to try.

Google
Giving Dumplings N More a solid 4/5 stars! The service was super friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated, and the online ordering made everything super easy. The food was good, but a little hit-or-miss—the noodles were a little bland, and the shrimp and pork dumplings were alright. That said, the Kung Pao Bao Bun was pretty tasty, with a nice balance of flavors. Overall, it’s a good spot, but the food could use a little more punch to really stand out.

Love going here! Been going here for years even before their renovations. Service has always been super attentive and the staff are so friendly. Favorite dumpling spot! We love the lamb dumplings. Their lunch specials are such a great deal!

Google
5 Stars – Absolutely Delicious! I had an amazing experience at this dumpling restaurant. The dumplings were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, it’s a solid choice for anyone craving authentic dumplings. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Google
Very impressed by this place! Super friendly staff. My server was from Taiwan where I studied and she recommended the lamb dumplings. It was incredible! Tasted really good, came out promptly. We also ordered crushed cucumber salad which was very tasty, the dim sum combination, it was tasty as well. Got honey walnut shrimp which was amazing and a bunch other stuff. But I can’t recommend this place enough. Everyone should go try their amazing dumplings!

Google
Some of the best dumplings you’ll ever lay your tongue on in San Diego. I know I didn’t say “eyes” but your taste buds are more important here. If you don’t like the food, you may have got it to go. It’s always better to dine in here and don’t order take out. It almost ruins the experience… all dumplings are meant to be devoured fairly hot & fresh. Also the cold dishes here are fantastic, and have them with a refreshing cold beer.

Google
With a name of dumplings n more I expected mainly dumplings, but this place has a lot of cooked dishes and even some dim sum staples. Let’s start with the dumplings. The lamb dumplings were the best of the three tried (the other was pork, shrimp and chives and soup dumplings). The soup dumplings had minimal soup, but with a dunk in a soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil they tasted fine. Other dishes ordered were the smashed cucumbers which had too much garlic for my taste and not enough vinegar nor spiciness. As for the har gow, the wrapper was a tad too thick. The sui mi on the other hand is wrapped like a won ton and does not taste like your average sui mi. It’s not a bad taste…just different. Didn’t get a chance to try any of the wok dishes being full from all the dumplings. Portions sizes can be chosen and are different depending on whether the dumplings are boiled, steamed or pan fried. This is a good thing if you come alone cause you can order different types of dumplings to try.

I'm from San Diego but now live in Idaho. I was in town visiting with my son and he wanted to come here for lunch. It was a Sunday. Parking in Hillcrest is at a premium, and I had to park in the Rite Aid lot at $6 an hour, a rip off. The entrance and interior is nondescript. We grabbed a booth. On the tables are QR codes to scan and look at the menu, as well as order. My son ordered for us, two orders of 9 dumplings of different proteins, including shrimp, beef, and lamb. We also had a seaweed salad, which wasn't bad. I'm not a dumpling guy, but they were tasty. The people were cordial and professional, but we really didn't interact with them much. Because I'm not into this kind of food, I wouldn't come back, except if my son wanted to return the next time I'm in town. But it seemed very popular and was fairly busy, even though it was 1:30 pm by the time we arrived.

Yelp
Great food. At a fair price with huge portions. Service was spot on and staff is very attentive.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place so much. You just go in and pick any seat which is nice. It's amazing. I found out about this place through some friends and have been going repeatedly. The soup dumplings are my favorite. Incredibly tasty and is very pleasant to bite into fully or to sip the soup separately. The milk tea is also really nice. The staff is always very kind and helpful. They don't really talk too much which can be nice if you like that. This place is very introvert friendly because you can order and pay through the QR code which is super cool in my opinion. You can see them making the dumplings through a little window which is pretty cool. In the middle of Hillcrest is very nice too. It just can be annoying to find parking sometimes but there are a couple parking lots you have to pay for which isn't crazy in my opinion. Every time I go I recognize some of the workers, it's nice to know I'm supporting a local/family business.

Yelp
In brain rot terms, the food is super sigma and rizzy - even teenagers like it The music was AMAZING! LOVE THE SONG CHOICE!

Yelp
Dumplings N More a Chinese restaurant in Hillcrest located on Fifth Street only offers indoor seating and parking is a challenge but I suggest the pay to park at the lot where now closed RiteAid is. Fifth Street in Hillcrest has lots of eateries, many I simply have avoided because of the Lack of Curve appeal. There's a bus stop outside, the sidewalk needs to be power washed and the area in general tends to attract homeless and/or trouble makers. A few weeks ago, after visiting a the Blue Stocking bookstore, I stopped and peeked inside Dumplings N More restaurant and saw available seating next to the window. I stepped inside and was immersed greeted by the female hostess and she let me choose my seating, the booth by the window with my pup Fendi. This restaurant has been at this location for over a decade. Despite its longevity, the restaurant is not fancy but the interior looked clean, simple with a hospitable staff. Service from the hostess/waitress and server was pleasant, helpful and attentive. She was knowledgeable about the menu items and contents of the dishes. Because this restaurant specializes in dumplings, that's what I ordered along with other foods. I specifically requested 'No Pork' in any dumplings and this restaurant was very accommodating and honored my request. The multi colored dumplings were presented nicely and were very tasty. The steamed shrimp dumplings aka 'Har Gow' are always one of my favorites and these were delish. The garlic green beans were good but not as snappy as I would have liked. The Emerald Tofu soup with tofu and slivers of Napa cabbage was light, flavorful and a perfect starter. Because I had a positive overall dining experience, I would try other menu items in my next visit. Recommend.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try this place and I'm so glad I did! The vibes in here are great and the staff is so kind. The servings are huge! The prices are very reasonable. The food was delicious, here are my ratings: 1. Boba, 5/5 - I've never had such a big boba. It is huge!! So worth it. 2. Chicken stir fried noodle, 3.5/5 - it's good but a little salty. Huge! I would share this would someone. 3. Spicy wonton pork, 4/5 - so good! The pork is amazing. Also a big serving. I recommend sharing this. The sauce is interesting but good. 4. The cream cheese wontons, 6/5 - these are too good! I could eat an infinite amount.

Yelp
The variety was incredible, and everything tasted homemade with care. It's the kind of place where you can't help but over-order and you'll be glad you did. Can't wait to come back on our next trip to SD The hot n sour was the best I ever had .

Yelp
I'm not sure how I never realized this place existed so close to me until now. I ordered the pork shrimp chive dumplings, boiled and they were delicious. Very plump and meaty. The scallion pancake was also solid. I did delivery so I can't comment on the ambiance but solid dumpling option in Hillcrest.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is so cool. I ordered a tea, which was refreshing on such a hot day. While enjoying my boba, I was able to watch them hand stuff their dumplings through a window they have set up. Really cool to watch.

Yelp
Parking can be a challenge, but Dumplings N More is absolutely worth it. This place serves the best dumplings in San Diego at an unbeatable value. The pork and shrimp dumplings are flavorful and juicy, and the pan fried beef buns are mostly tender with a crisp side and fresh dough wrapped around savory beef filling--absolutely delicious. The egg drop soup is light, comforting, and full of flavor. The pork fried rice with spicy pickled vegetables is bold and satisfying. Don't forget to try the cucumber salad and iced green mango tea... it's refreshing and pairs beautifully with the meal. I love Chinese food, and this spot has quickly become my favorite in San Diego. Everything is made fresh, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Authentic, fresh, and consistently delicious.

Yelp
*This was for takeout* Wanted to order in some dinner and decided on this restaurant since dumplings sounded good. Again, I would like to note this was delivery. I used uber eats and I paid to be the first delivery (live in North Park). I ordered the following: Spicy wontons- there was no spice to the sauce. It was like a thick peanut buttery odd sauce. I actually washed off the sauce. The wontons themselves had an odd texture to them but the flavor was OK. Soup dumplings - the skin was a bit thick but OK flavor. Pork/shrimp/chive dumplings - these were definitely my favorite. They were big and really flavorful. Hot and sour soup - OK flavor but really thick. If I were to order from here again, I would probably order the shrimp/pork/chive dumplings but the others were not my favorite. Maybe it would be different if I ate there. Sorry that the pics are a bit off but wanted to provide them.

Yelp
Went here for dinner and the food was really good. I was traveling with my family, my dad really love the house made chili and my favorite was the beef noodle soup and the dan dan noodle. Service went by fast and staff was friendly. Ambiance is nicely decorated as well.

Yelp
This place is perfect for generous portions of food! The bowls of soup were good, the milk tea was GIANT, and we both took home enough stir fry noodles to have another full dinner the next night. Here are my ratings for the stuff we got in regards to food quality and flavor: Milk tea: standard 6/10 Egg and Shrimp dumplings: 5/10 the egg had an interesting texture Beef pan fried wontons: 8/10 best thing on the menu Chicken stir fry noodles: 7/10 a little salty but flavorful Egg Drop soup: 7/10 standard The service was really fast and folks were sweet. There's a QR code ordering service so you don't have to flag someone down to actually order something. If you ever just want good hearty Chinese, this is the place to be; the vibes are very home style as well!

Yelp
I came in craving something warm and flavorful, and Dumplings N More mostly delivered! The beef noodle soup was definitely the standout -- rich broth, tender beef, and comforting noodles that hit the spot. If you're unsure what to get, this one's a safe and satisfying bet. I also tried the spicy noodle, which had great texture but lacked protein and leaned more sweet than spicy -- not exactly what I expected based on the name. The spicy wontons were similar: decent flavor, but the wrappers were on the thicker side and again, more sweet than spicy. A little more heat and balance would have gone a long way. That said, the noodles themselves were consistently delicious across the board -- springy, chewy, clearly fresh. You can tell they take pride in that part. Overall, a decent spot if you're craving handmade noodles, but some of the dishes could use a little more oomph in the spice and protein departments. Will probably be back for that beef noodle soup!

Yelp
Two words! Ice Slush, yes it's almost a 6 dollar drink but it's damn worth it! I recommend the pineapple strawberry flavor. It's got great refreshing and slightly sweet, very enjoyable! The whole restaurant approach was friendly and inviting. We got our food to go and it wasn't the hottest but it was also cold outside. No biggie. I zapd it in the microwave for about 1:30sec and it was perfect!! Food was 5/5 for sure.

Yelp
There's always a first try, a first taste of new food. Here, at Dumplings N More is where I tasted Spicy Wonton for the first time. The chewy fresh dough, the well seasoned filling and then, the heat of the sauce, so delicious. A satisfying cheat to what would have been the boring meal I had planned, and now I have to stay off the avenue. If I drive past this cute restaurant, I will stop, I will order again and again. Oh, but the Smashed Cucumbers are the right complement to the wontons. Loaded with garlic, the cool bite size cucumbers are a delight. Street parking, bus, bicycle. Casual interior A chill spot, not fast food My server was very nice, as she took a couple of minutes to explain the menu
google avatar

Sasha N.

Yelp
I got my food to go, and ordered a jasmine milk tea, spicy wontons, and beef noodle dish. Jasmine tea I asked to make less sweet incase it ran to sweet. It was perfect. As many have stated, the spicy wontons were different than what I am used to, but I really liked it. It was a thicker deeper flavored sauce, lots of it, and ample wontons. The wonton was not as delicate as I have had before, but over all it worked for me. It wasnt spicy but I dont need the spice, I'm just in it for the flavor. The beef noodle dish didnt skimp on tje beef, and the meat was tender. I mixed in some of my sauce from the wontons to up the flavor. Overall the order was done on time and I had enough for about 3 meals. I enjoyed every last bite.

Yelp
It took us 3 times before we were even able to try this place. First time, my husband went in and waited almost 10 minutes without anyone coming over to take his order or ask if he had questions. Second time, there was 15 mins before closing and they didn't even greet us they just said "we are only doing take out". We left. Third time, we finally sat and had a server. We ordered chicken fried rice which was cool. Spicy wontons were NOT good! I've had so many spicy wontons at different places. This spot does not make them spicy + it's in a thick paste instead of in its traditional broth. Very strange taste, again different than any other place we've had. Definitely not going back. The food just tasted strange and the texture was off.

Yelp
Really good dumplings. To be honest some of the other menu items are just good, but get the dumplings, they're excellent.
google avatar

Gaby J.

Yelp
I really enjoy the pan fried dumplings in dumplings n more. Located right across Chocolat in Hillcrest, Dumplings n More serve both cold and hot dishes. I really like their pan fried dumplings and their big steamed bun but the service here is slooooowwww. So if you're impatient like me, you should get it to-go...but even then they make you wait. I would also skip the boba. It wasn't very good. Food is 4/5 but service is like 3/5. One of the better Chinese spot in San Diego. Price: $$ Parking: Meter parking. I recommend parking a few blocks away if you aren't able to find parking. It is located in the heart of Hillcrest so you will have to walk to get here. Service: Sloooooow. Food is good though and comes out fresh & hot. Recommendations: Pan fried dumplings and big beef bun.
google avatar

Snowflake J.

Yelp
Ordering is highly recommended by a QR code located on your table, the staff is quick and friendly. You are acknowledged upon entry. The food is served hot and family style for sharing. We prefer the paper menu for visual stimulation vs using our phone screens. We have had the Beef Stirfry prior and felt this time around the beef was over cooked and noodles were dry. The flavor was on point. The Honey walnut shrimp tasted good, would prefer the walnuts be candy coated as the crust on the shrimp had a crunch when chewed. So they did good on its coating and fry before tossing in the candy mayo, not sure of how it's made but I thought the shrimp was rich and deserved a take home bag.
google avatar

Ali R.

Yelp
So weird. I tried to give them business and i was told that they didn't open for a few mins. I went in at 11:58 they open at noon! Why is your door open? Then I was told they didn't want people to see us in there so everyone didn't come at once. Just a really odd experience. So I left. The food looked good but the guy behind the bar was very odd and or his English wasn't good .
google avatar

Felicity K.

Yelp
The soup dumplings were just okay...not something to write home about and probably not something I would get again from here. The Zha-Jiang men was really good, with a good amount of meat. The egg drop soup was flavorful and had lots of veggies. Most restaurants just serve the plain egg version that's usually oversalted so this was a nice surprise. The star of the show was definitely the pork ribs. Crispy, lots of garlic, and super fresh. The restaurant itself is a little worn down, but that didn't really matter to me. Staff will leave you alone unless you need something- good place to grab a quick bite.
google avatar

Leilani P.

Yelp
The service was good, waiters were kind and there wasn't a wait when we arrived. Ordered spicy noodles w a side of beef for protein; the beef was cold and the noodles were okay, not really spicy. Spicy wontons had peanut butter sauce that was more sweet than spicy which wasn't what i was hoping for when ordering spicy wontons. Beef braised soup was definitely the highlight of the meal, yummy and warm.

Yelp
A small family owned Chinese spot right in the middle of Hillcrest. Dining room is clean, and they play easy listening Chinese music. Service is fast and efficient even though most of the servers speak very broken English. Our water glasses were never empty. We ordered the soup dumplings which were on par with what seems to be everyone's standard DTF. Also had some pan fried pork dumplings, and our order of 9 had two that were burnt, but the others were perfect. Finally we had the Mapo Tofu, one of my favorites when it is cold and raining out and did it deliver: great flavors that you can taste, the Douchi (fermented black bean), donbanjan (broad bean paste) and a good level of Szechuan numbing spice as well. Probably one of the best that I've had in San Diego.

Yelp
Unassuming, hole in the wall vibes. This is one of our go-to dumpling places in SD! Food: everything is soooo delicious. You cannot go wrong with this menu. Favs are probably Spicy Wonton (great sauce, not too spicy imo), Smashed Cucumber Salad (filled with garlic taste !! Yummy) , Xiao Long Bao and the Vegan Dumplings pan fried. Vegan Dumplings are really good esp bc of the noodles in them- just super full of flavor more than you expect! Highly recommend. The great thing about the dumplings is that there are different flavors to try and you can choose pan fried, steamed or boiled. Great customization! Prices are so-so. Food is just more expensive these days and Bc it's in Hillcrest, I would say it's probably average price for the area so nothing wrong with that just an fyi. In general though, there are better prices for dumpling happy hour based on other places we've been in other cities and in SD. Service: efficient servers! They are all very nice and cater just the right amount to you. I love that they give water right away once you sit down (water also has slices of lemon, my fav ). Top notch servers :) Overall, great place for take out and sit down. It's very chill vibes, never too busy so you can always do a walk in (at least every time we have been in). Extra compliments ----- Dog friendly? - No, no patio seating either because it's located on a busy street. As my rule, I don't typically give 5 stars unless they can be dog friendly. Bathroom: Clean ! Rating B

Yelp
Yo!!! This place was fire!!! The best Dan Dan noodles! The boys love the crispy chicken and my house noodle is sooo good! Everything was delicious and perfect! Friendly service from the owners. The place is clean too, you can seat yourself. They even have boba drinks that I will try next time. Anywho... we'll be back here next week.

Yelp
Great food! Extremely fresh. They make it in front of you. Lots of vegetarian options too. The dumplings were the best.

Yelp
What a surprise this place was! We were hungry for dumplings and Chinese food and couldn't decide where to go. Looked on Yelp, and decided to try this spot out. From the outside, the place didn't look like much. Nothing fancy. Interior was clean with lots of seating. We were seated right away. We were instantly drawn to the older woman hand making dumplings behind the glass window! Now we were getting excited!!! There were four of us so we wanted to order everything! We all got soup. Egg drop was different than other places, but my daughter said it was good. Hot and sour soup was yummy! Soup dumplings were yummy and juicy! Beef stir fried noodles were very good. Lots of beef! Pork, shrimp and chives pan fried dumplings were good and crunchy on the bottom! The filling was really good! Spicy wontons we're very good too! The sauce wasn't too spicy but had a great kick! The bok choy was insanely delicious with a garlic sauce that is to die for! Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you get! Can't wait to go back and try more!

Yelp
Hands down the best dumpling spot in San Diego. Parking can be tough, but quick service and fantastic food! The soup dumplings are excellent and noodles are great for sharing.

Yelp
My partner and I have started exploring the Hillcrest restaurants and we decided to try Dumplings and more. The outside of the place is a bit unassuming, being surrounded by very colorful and open shop. But we are so glad we came in! The restaurant was a peaceful reprieve from the busy street and the food was an enjoyable dim sum lunch. We ordered the Pan Fried Puff Buns with beef filling; the Dim Sum combo; and the Pork and Green Onion Dumpling. The puff buns were super moist, doughy, and fluffy with a satisfyingly crunchy bottom. The meat inside had a super delicious green onion flavor, and the accompanying sweet chili sauce was a perfect addition. The dim sum combo and it was perfect for two people. It offered a nice variety of flavors! The shrimp dumpling was my partner's favorite. My personal favorite was the pork and green onion dumpling. It was super flavorful and paired wonderfully with the vinegar sauce.

Gabriela T.

Yelp
We arrived just in time for opening. Easy to order with the QR code but the best part was the food. We could see someone making the dumplings fresh and we knew it would be great. The Dan Dan noodles were excellent, full of flavor and the right amount of spicy. The soup dumplings were delivered steaming fresh. We would definitely come back here. The staff were friendly and nice!
google avatar

Erika M.

Yelp
I came here craving soup dumplings. It was pretty packed for a weekend brunch. I got the Dan Dan noodles, xlb, and pickled cucumbers. My whole party agreed that the Dan Dan noodles were very tasty. Not too spicy and not too peanuty. Just right. The xlb however was a disappointment. The dough was too thick and barely any soup inside. The service was fast and good.
google avatar

Yelp
The food, the atmosphere and the service was fantastic. Cannot say enough about the dumplings! The large pork steamed bun is out of this world. Noodles are also spot on. Very fresh , light and flavorful. Will definitely come back again.

Yelp
I'm not familiar with SD area but location is a busy road Parking is not easy to find Food was good Ambience is okay There's one waitress who has no personality at all She doesn't smile. Very rude communication skills
google avatar

Sydney S.

Yelp
Sad to say this food was very very underwhelming. We got site fried noodles which has little to no flavor at all and the Mongolian beef had almost no sauce and mostly just large undercooked pieces of onion. The soup dumplings came all broken so those were shot as well. Safe to say I don't recommend.

Su C.

Yelp
Had a variety of dumplings & dim sum. Very yummy. Would recommend. Can tell its handmade on sight, chewy texture

Yelp
We were craving Chinese food and still hadn't tried out this place in Hillcrest that has oversized meat buns. We ordered the regular-sized meat buns song with some fried fish fillet and fried rice. It satisfied our craving

Yelp
The waiter didn't help me to a table because I was a party of one. He didn't want me to sit in an available booth because I was there by myself. I hesitated in the doorway, so he relented and told me I could sit in the booth. I waited for him to come wipe the greasy table and give me a menu. He never even acknowledged that I was waiting and he should have told me he would be a moment. When I go out to eat, service is part of the deal. I expect good service and good food. Otherwise, why am I paying restaurant prices? Ignoring a paying customer is unconscionable. I was looking forward to dining on some delicious dumplings. Instead, I walked out! There are plenty of great restaurants in the Hillcrest district. I'm spending my money in a different one. I won't go back to Dumplings N More.

Yelp
This was such a great stop. Open for both bubble tea/walk ins as well as sit down dinner. If you like soup dumplings, they have really yummy ones here! Has an awesome authentic feel and so many delicious options. Staff are super friendly. Tons of space to sit down! Would love to go here again

Yelp
Service is s h i t. Can't handle seating large parties and seem to discourage adding to the list.

Yelp
One of my favorites! This place remains one of my fav places to eat in all of Sd. The food is so good, cheap and the service is really quick. Tonight I swear I ordered half the menu I was so hungry. I got the Golden Buns (delicious dessert and the condensed milk with it is sooo good) Pork fried buns: like mini versions of the regular brazed bun but also fried abba so freaking good Pork bun: huge and such a good price Dan Dan noodles: one of my favs! Just kinda spicy and wow the flavor is so good Cumin lamb: I LOVE cumin lamb and this one is amazing, the crunch on the lamb is perfection Soup dumplings (9): so good and fresh Vegetable meatball soup: the broth is clear and delicious and the meatballs you put in separately now and that's so much better. All of that food was only a hundred bucks with two huge bobas.

Yelp
Wow! This is the best dumpling place in SD. Usually we drive up to LA to get dim sum - but this place is crushing it. Very reasonable prices and cool staff. The glass window to peer through and see the dumpling lady was very cool. I will be coming back soon. We ate most of the food before we could take pictures because it was so good!

Yelp
If I had one word to describe Dumplings N' More, I'd say it's okay. Nothing about it would prevent me from returning, but nothing about it had me rushing to plan my next meal here. I got a Vegan Big Bun and vegan spicy wontons. I enjoyed the spicy wontons more and would join friends if they wanted to check this place out. Here are my thoughts on the dishes I ordered: Vegan Big Bun -- 4/10. It was pretty lackluster for me. The dough was very plump and had an overall pleasant taste, but it overpowered the contents inside since it felt like the bun was mostly dough. The mixture inside was just okay IMO. Vegan spicy wontons -- 7/10. The spice for this had a really nice flavor! I wouldn't say it was spicy in the sense it has your mouth on fire, but it was packed with spices if that makes sense. I really enjoyed the taste but the wontons' texture seemed to be a bit stiff. I wish they were cooked a bit longer.

Yelp
I've been wanting to come here for a while now, as it's right off the main road for you to see and has boba too! We came in yesterday at prime time lunch hours and were seated right away by welcoming staff. We ordered the green bean and pork noodles (our favorite dish! Most flavorful and greens beans still taste fresh and slightly roasted even though they're soft), seeet radishes, Kung Pao Chicken Big Bun, and 9 piece shao mai pork and mushroom dumplings. I think because we got the noodles brought out to us first, the rest of the dishes weren't as flavorful on their own, which is fine. You can just add soy sauce or chili oil, but I didn't want to have to do that lol. The dumplings and big bun were good. Not great but still good. I want to come back to try more dumplings and get a variety of their rice or noodle plates so, they have a returning customer over here!
