Google
Swung in here while traveling between Corbin and Louisville on I-75. This was a little bit out of the way, but well worth it. The service was wonderful and the waitress was very friendly. The food was literally picture perfect and as tasty as you could ever want. Plus, they've done well with their little space. Soft lighting, easy music, booths and tables set up nicely. It makes you want to stay a while and enjoy your meal.

Google
I had heard mixed reviews for this spot but finally decided to try it for myself. Glad I did! The food tasted great and I found a new favorite sake. The custard buns were delicious, and the beef youpo noodles were especially good.

Collin Ott

Google
First time going and I'm most definitely gonna return. The food was amazing and the staff was very nice, I highly recommend the soup dumplings and the custard buns are so cute you almost don't want to eat them. It was just me but there's enough of the dumplings/ buns that multiple people could share and it not be as expensive per person

Grace Vaughn

Google
The noodles didn’t have much of a description so we basically went in blind with the Jin Jin noodles- they were extremely peanut-y and I wouldn’t recommend. The dumplings were ok- the sauce served with them saved the day.

Google
We will definitely be coming back! The food was delicious! It came out fast, fresh, and hot. I couldn’t get enough of the rice noodles and dumplings. I tried a bite of orange chicken and the hibachi chicken as well as the fried rice. All were SO good!!

Gary Pattison

Google
New items to me... I like to see variety on the menu. Their menu has a good range of items from sushi to steamed dumplings. I will have to go back again when I am ready to explore their All You Can Eat menu.

Google
Nice noodles and dumplings restaurant. However, I got the Hibachi Tofu and it was delicious! Casual, relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely go back!

Matthew

Google
Carry out. Arrived early. Vegetable roll was cold and nothing special. Trader Joe’s is better. Hibachi shrimp. The flavor was good. Shrimp was cold and rubbery. Cumin chicken had a good flavor and was warm. This was our first time trying this restaurant and sadly I can’t think of a reason to spend $43 again at this establishment.

Yelp
Today was our first time eating here so we ordered several items to try them out. Scallion pancakes - came out hot and crispy. They were very tasty and even better with a little chili oil and soy sauce on them. 8/10 Baby cucumber salad - this doesn't taste like a marinated salad but freshly made. Nice and cool and crunchy cucumbers with a bit of sweetness and a little spicy. Very good and refreshing. I feel like it needs a little salt so adding a touch of soy sauce punched up the flavor a bit. 8/10 General tsa and fried rice - wow this is great! The chicken is crunchy, piping hot and the sauce is very flavorful. This fried rice is spot on. You can taste the breath of the wok. 10/10 Fried pork dumplings - they were crispy on the bottom and soft on the side with a decent amount of tasty filling in them. 8/10 Pork BBQ buns - text book pork bbq bao steam bun. Perfect! 10/10 Beef Youpo Noodle - wow this was a lot of food! There's an abundance of dressed hand pulled noodles and some delicious sliced beef. These are a bit spicy but not overwhelming. It seems like we ate and ate and barely made a dent in it. Ambience was very nice. Cool, clean and relaxing piano music. Service was 10/10. Our server was on top of things with the food and drinks and she was very kind. I don't know why there's not a line out the door to get in here!

Yelp
Everything was amazing! Very flavorful, freshly made and hot. You can adjust the spice level for some dishes so we requested the Tan Tan ramen mild. The spicy wontons were spicy but tolerable and very flavorful. The green onion pancakes were crispy, light and flavorful as well and taste great with the chili oil provided at the table. Service was incredible and fast! This was our first stop in Kentucky after visiting from Ohio and it left a great impression overall. Definitely recommend the spicy dishes and custard buns. The panda bun has chocolate custard while the others had classic custard, all delicious.

Yelp
The service here was great, it was a nice area inside and was definitely a vibe. The chicken fried was very delicious. I've had a lot of different dumplings and these were different (not bad at all just different). The pork dumplings were very juicy and the shrimp dumplings were a little fishy.

Yelp
Waited to review since I was hoping my first time a few months back was a fluke. Second time was the same. Service was fine, but our server didn't seem to know the menu. We were constantly swatting flies around the food. Flavors were pretty basic in the beef buns and soup dumplings I ordered. Everything seemed overly oily. I probably wouldn't return.

Yelp
Update: October 28 I wanted to provide an update to my August review. The food (hibachi tofu) and service were great but I am a bit disappointed that the kid's menu has been discontinued. Based on what the restaurant owner stated as response to my last review, more kid's options were going to be added to the menu. There were no new options provided for kid's but in fact the menu was done away with.

Andrew M.

Yelp
Delicious food!!! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone that is in Lexington. Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was excellent.

Yelp
Saw mixed reviews. Finally went and tried. Did not disappoint. Atmosphere was relaxing and very clean inside. Service was so kind and attentive. Lastly, most importantly the food was DELICIOUS. Texture, flavor, temperature 10/10

Yelp
I love dumplings and ramen. I went to Alidi's and decided to try this place for lunch. It was around 10:30 am or so and I was unsure if the restaurant was open. I saw the open sign but they were not ready. I said I wanted my food to go, but they did not box my food. I ordered the beef dumplings and they were ok. I was the only one in the restaurant and it took awhile to receive my food. Not sure if came, later if service would be better.

Yelp
After seeing rave reviews on Facebook and also after learning about their recent inclusion of All You Can Eat, my husband and I headed to the restaurant for dine-in AYCE. We arrived around 3:30 on a Saturday and surprisingly there was only one couple... shortly after we were sat a lot more people came in though. The have an extensive menu and the AYCE includes everything on the menu except one item, if I remember correctly. We ordered about 4 rolls, 4 appetizers, 2 drinks, and dessert. The rolls do come full size so please be aware... matter of fact all dishes come full size I believe. Since it was our first time there it was hard to say. You do have to finish your plate before placing a new order for AYCE, which was fine with us. The music and ambiance were so relaxing, definitely a good place for a date or if you're not looking for a huger crowd. I'll give it an 8/10 because they only had one person doing sushi for the entire restaurant and towards the end we did wait over 20 min for one roll. Other than that, amazing, do recommend, and definitely will be back!

Yelp
Came here after Black Friday shopping, was greeted immediately. Ordered Shrimp Dumplings and Chicken Xiao Long Baos - both were Delicious! Then were ordered Beef Noodle Soup, Cumin Stir Fry noodle Combo, and Hot oil noodles. SO GOOD!!! Price is pretty reasonable, comparing price to Dallas. We had a great experience and will come back!

Yelp
Food is very authentic and was of high quality. Ordered six different entrees and six appetizers. All very very good. Owner was working the counter and was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. I will be going back

Yelp
I've always wanted to try fresh dumplings and this place delivered. The menu is pretty simple and straightforward. I ordered the steamed pork and beef dumplings and spring rolls and my friend ordered the bbq beef buns. There is a wait but everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious! Honestly looking around, everyone's food looked delicious. My favorite were the pork steamed dumplings. I will say the service was ok, but I feel like there was only 1 server that night (Tuesday at 6). She was still nice, helpful, and around. The restaurant is set up pretty basic, nothing over the top or anything - just a nice place to enjoy some good food. I also ordered some food to go and that was actually delicious the next day. When we left we passed a couple of tables and I already have an idea of what I would like to try next time just by how much people were enjoying their food and the presentation. Highly recommend a visit and 100% get the steamed pork dumplings.

Yelp
The all you can eat is a great option. The menu is diverse with plenty to offer. The sushi was fresh and honestly all the food was good. I have 2 reasons for not giving it 5 stars. 1- the price of the kids all you can eat is too high. Most people don't have kids who can get their moneys worth (13.99). That's my personal opinion. The one item for kids on the actual menu is almost $10 and it's a set plate with things that kids won't eat. It was rice and sesame balls and broccoli.. just strange. The second reason I'm not giving it 5 starts is because the service lacked. They seemed understaffed and the main man who was working wasn't super friendly. That being said, we would go back again because the food was good. The inside was nice enough. No issues there.
google avatar

EV S.

Yelp
Love the pork sandwich, I'll go for that as long as they have it. They tuned down the spicy levels compared to the authentic version, but still pretty good.
google avatar

Reece E.

Yelp
Fantastic food, friendly service. The tan tan dry noodle ramen and cold sesame noodles were delicious. Also some of the best crab rangoons I have ever eaten. Five stars.

Yelp
Went for the first time tonight. This place is a little gem. We will definitely will be back

Yelp
TikTok inspired my daughter to want to try soup dumplings. So Google and Yelp led us here. The dumplings were delicious. They had great flavor and came out quickly. We also got the TanTan spicy ramen, orange chicken, and spring rolls. We loved it all but definitely had leftovers! We plan to come back many more times as my daughter has decided the juicy pork buns are her new favorite food!

Annabelle B.

Yelp
I came in today to get some of the vegetable dumplings. I've been here 7 or 8 times and every time I have LOVED the vegetable dumplings. Today when my order came, they were clearly beef and onion dumplings, but when I asked to exchange my order I was told that the beef dumplings were vegetable,in spite of the fact that they had no veggies at all inside. Shame, honestly, there's nowhere else in town where you can get actual baozi with veggies. Edit in reply: While I appreciate your kind offer, I much preferred the way the vegetable buns were served previously. I would rather have a vegetable buns with actual, real vegetables (as they have always been served previously) rather than a bun with "the flavor of vegetables". I really liked the vegetable buns quite a lot and they were the reason I kept coming back. I don't know why the vegetables have been swapped for barbecue sauce, but I will miss having access to a true vegetable bun.

Yelp
Would give 10 stars if I could! Delicious, steamy and fresh dumplings prepared quick and served with a smile. The waitress reminds me of my grandma in Chinatown, NY. She's a lovely, knowledgable woman who seems very happy with her responsibility at the restaurant. Food was such a nice authentic surprise to have in Lexington . Will be recommending to everyone!! Craving dumplings? Come to Dumplings & Noodles!

Yelp
There service was friendly, but the food was ok. I had ordered take out. The chicken fried rice was too oily unfortunately. There was a layer of oil on the bottom of the tray. Soup based beef noodle stew was good, but noodles were little bit undercook in my opinion. It could be that it was later at night. I don't know. I will try one more time with different food and see

Julia A.

Yelp
Amazing food every time I come here. The vegetable dumplings are amazing so are the cheese buns (I think that's what they were called). They have so many options to choose from I will definitely be returning to try more dumplings!
google avatar

Yan C.

Yelp
As its name suggests, Dumpling Noodles have mostly dumplings and noodles, but also some classic American Chinese dishes such as General Tsao and Sesame Chicken. I recommend the Spicy Wontons and Juicy Pork buns (xiaolongbao) to share either as appetizers or family style for the table. The Beef Noodle Soup (regular or spicy) was a flop for me -- seemingly all the elements were there, but the flavor of the broth itself was lacking and rather one-dimensional. I've ordered it multiple times, and each time it left much to be desired. If I had to choose one dish to have here, it is undoubtedly Youpo Noodles -- it is thick noodles packed with flavors and just the right about of spices. This dish would be the sole reason if I visit again.

Yelp
Came in on a Wednesday evening around 7:30. Plenty of parking out front. Greeted immediately by the hostess and seated right away. Pleasant piano music played overhead while two large screen monitors provided visual entertainment. The menu was surprisingly robust with numerous selections from various styles of cooking. My party tried six items and will be discussed below: Pork cake: also sold as Chinese hamburger, is shredded pork stuffed in a round pita. Bland and tasteless. Would benefit from more marinade. Baby cucumber salad: Star of the show! Crisp light with delicate crunch topped off with a flavorful dressing. Excellent starter choice. Juicy pork Buns: Arrived hot and fresh in a bamboo steamer. Each a Very satisfying mouthful with the rich juice still sealed in each bun. Thumbs up! Tonkotso Ramen: Beautifully presented showcasing its multiple ingredients. Unfortunately the noodles were doughy and somewhat undercooked for our taste. It does not appear to be the classic ramen style noodles. Somewhat disappointed. Beef noodle soup in clear broth: Artfully presented but served a bit luke warm. Same type of noodles used as Tonkotso detracting from the overall dish. Beef pieces could be of better quality as multiple fatty chewy bites were encountered. Beef onion buns: Came steaming hot in steamer. Unlike typical store type buns which typically skimps on the inner fillings, these buns are filled with generous portions of fillings. Unfortunately a bit pricy with only four buns for $10. Overall fair value and not bad for our initial encounter. IMO if the noodles used could be changed to the more traditional ramen style noodles, the entire experience would be elevated to an entirely new level !

Yelp
I hate to leave bad reviews but this place really made me sad. I came in super excited because I love ramen. My soup was more fat based and oily than it was broth and the noodles were a consistency that both my boyfriend and I could hardly stand. They were doughy. I always try to finish my food but I left the entire bowl of soup sadly. To continue the food fiasco, we had shrimp dumplings but they were the size of quarters, & it was 6 for $8... when we got the bill, they tried to charge me more for the dumplings as well. The service was... awkward. The lady was super sweet but didn't know the menu and did not know how to handle a customer who was confused with the food and gave the wrong meals to us. The other server just kept apologizing, as she watched it all happen. I really wanted to hype this place up but I truly can't.

Yelp
I really like the food here I come here often and it's always great! The service is always fast and the restaurant is always welcoming

Yelp
I went in for my first dumpling experience and left completely full and exhausted. The crab dumplings are enough to put you to sleep! The juicy pork dumplings are a must have. I ordered the chicken egg rolls and wanted to order 5 more servings. Great food, calming atmosphere, and quick service. The menu was a great selection and they even have hibachi ! I will definitely be back.

Ashlee B.

Yelp
Bro why was I waiting over 30 minutes to order or even get a drink :| I was so excited to try this place, and the server even asked if we were ready after 20 minutes just to wait longer. She was nice but damn don't tease me like that fr.

Jordan Rose C.

Yelp
This is the best Chinese food I've ever had! We got the general tso with fried rice, sesame chicken, bbq pork buns, and fried pork dumplings. The dumplings are literally the best I've ever had. The fried rice is the best seasoned fried rice ever. The entrees are crispy and covered in sauce. This is my new favorite place I will 100% be coming back! They even added some cake for free and wrote thank you on it. The man at the counter was so nice too! Love this place

Yue C.

Yelp
I have been there for sometimes. The noodles are authentic for me as a Chinese. However, one thing happened the last time I visited. It was near closing time at night around 8:30 p.m. when we arrived. We ordered two bowls of noodles but the amount is extremely small. I could finish it in 2-3 bites so I have to eat really slow. I guess it was because the noodles are almost run out of at that time. Anyway, I won't visit anymore.
google avatar

Emile L.

Yelp
Food was mediocre, spiciest dish wasn't spicy enough at all. Only thing was good was fried pork dumplings. Mango boba was basically was milk and jello. Gnats were everywhere my group asked for water only two people got water.
google avatar

Sammi H.

Yelp
Steam Dumplings and Pork Buns were delicious. Spicy noodles were very spicy, and too hot for my 9 year old.
google avatar

Abigail C.

Yelp
The cucumber salad is a must-order!!! SO YUMMY Another person mentioned the noodles were doughy and I have to agree. The noodles in the ramen weren't egg noodles but thicker and not good. If they change the egg from hard boiled to classic soft boiled it would make a big difference. Service was good. Restaurant was clean but had some boxes and clutter. Expansive menu. Worth a try!

Jamie C.

Yelp
Ordered Uber Eats from here today and the chicken was raw! We cooked it the rest of the way before we ate it but it was so obviously raw I can't believe they let it go out the door.

Yelp
I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews. We came in here a couple nights. We were pointed towards a booth and asked what we wanted to drink. Two waters, both cups clean. Upon sitting down, the plates were at the table were also clean and still damp from being cleaned. The utensils looked clean and we were given fresh chopsticks. We ordered the crab buns, the juicy pork buns, and an order of fried gyoza. I came expecting that just the juicy pork buns were going to be soup dumplings, but everything we ate was one! It was delicious. Everything was juicy, came out fresh and hot. When we opened the steamer basket, it was still steaming. Even the gyoza, which I wouldn't have expected to be so juicy, was bursting with flavor. It's the best gyoza we've ever had. You can tell that they are made in-house, and the filling from biting it open is well blended together and fresh. Everything was good. The staff was a touch hands off, we never got our drinks refilled, which was fine, but they were pretty much empty. We only had staff approach us for our drinks, our order, and the check. The environment looked nice, I couldn't tell that anything looked off. They played ambiance on the television. Overall, a nice little place! I might not order the crab buns again (the crab is imitation, like anywhere), but if you like that kind of thing, you'll love this.

Hunter L.

Yelp
Decent food, modest prices, conveniently located on Nicholasville Road, very friendly and hospitable staff.

Alex G G.

Yelp
DELICIOUS food! We tried the sesame balls, spicy tan tan ramen, Rou Jia Mo, and the beef and onion fried buns. Everything was delicious, wonderfully spiced with a wide range of flavors. the Rou Jia Mo, I especially recommend. Simple but tasty, the meat was silky and flavorful with anise and clove and just sooo good for Autumn The menu may have some typos, but the food is flawless! We went on a Wednesday afternoon, so there was hardly anyone there, and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. A lovely afternoon date spot. Service was fast and polite, and i look forward to coming again. 10/10

Linda N.

Yelp
We had a very bad experience as this restaurant during our first visit. The spicy wonton had RAW PORK in the filling. The juicy pork dumpling was cooked but had a suspicious pink hue. They brought out a replacement cooked spicy dumpling dish but my party and I had already accidentally eaten the raw pork so we felt nauseated and did not want to eat anything else. The server gave us some sesame balls as an apology but I would have rather they did not charge me for my meal or at least comp the dumplings that were RAW! I was still charged for all items! I'm extremely disappointed how they handled the situation and won't be coming back to this establishment. I will update if I get sick.

Jasta E.

Yelp
Looking to get served raw pork, not get comped for their mistake, and have to rush to pay an extra 25$ on activated charcoal in hopes you don't get sick and die? Then this is the place. Never coming to this place again and I'd suggest if you do, better make sure your shits cooked!!!! If I get sick def hearing from my lawyers. fuck this place. (UPDATE) Just left Urgent care because I felt sick. They said need to go to ER and get blood work and stuff but I can't afford these thousand of dollars charge. Going to get some probiotics and say a prayer. Hoping this doesn't get any worse

Beth L.

Yelp
We really loved our food. My husband got steak skewers that were tender and very flavorful. The egg rolls were really good and the crab and pork dumplings were very good. The service was great and the restaurant was very clean. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Gayle B.

Yelp
The outside is deceptively simple and so is the name. Don't let that discourage you. If you enjoy Asian dumplings and noodles, the variety of choices is impressive. I've had noodles both times I visited - very tasty, great presentation, generous portions. Everyone who I've gone with and who I've recommended there has been impressed. The servers were friendly and the food came quickly after ordering. The interior is warm and inviting - a nice place for first date or casual meal. I highly recommend.

Shanna C.

Yelp
Food is top notch! Service is great! Pleasing atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised and will definitely be returning! Thank you

Yelp
Chicken isn't very good. The rice, noodles, dumplings, and egg rolls were fine, but for the price I expect PF Changs quality. The dumplings were over steamed and not tightly wrapped. The meat used was cheap and dry. The chicken was so bland and did NOT taste like chicken. It was a mystery as to what it was or what was done to make it taste so gamey and gross. For the record, we got the sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken. The sauce was sooo bad and the meat was chewy, stringy, and gamey. Atleast P.F. Chang's uses good quality meat and fresh everything. I used to work there many years ago and they're the only Chinese restaurant aside from Panda Express that are worth going to in Lexington $40 down the drain and I am still upset that when I called that didn't just refund my card over the phone. I did not feel like going back with the nasty food to get a refund. Avoid chicken dishes at all costs, they don't care about their customers because if they did they wouldn't be selling this type of meat. I'm still thinking about getting this meat tested to see what it is. I don't know for sure that it isn't chicken but I've never ate chicken that tasted like that.

Beck H.

Yelp
Very good restaurant with a nice atmosphere and great food. Our food came out quickly and our server was very attentive--when she noticed my partner and I splitting our food, she brought us small bowls to make it easier without even being asked. The tantan ramen was excellent, with a creamy savory broth and tasty chicken shreds, a bit spicy but not anything mouth burning. The balance of spice and umami made it my favorite of the dishes we tried. Fair warning, egg noodles have a different texture from the typical buckwheat noodles you usually see in ramen, but this restaurant really nails the proper texture for egg noodles. For readers unfamiliar with different types of Asian noodles, egg noodles are chewy, bouncy, and often used in lo mein. The menu has a fantastic range of appetizers that could easily be ordered dim sum style, which was very exciting for me since I've been hunting for dim sum ever since I moved to Lexington. With a lovely selection of tea and sake alongside the great food, I can certainly see myself coming back for brunch again--maybe even with some friends next time.

Mary Katherine O.

Yelp
This place has delicious food and fast service! Juicy pork dumplings and cucumber salad were 10/10. I will be back and next time I'm bringing friends! New fav place in the dining rotation

SK B.

Yelp
The dumplings are fresh and delicious! The service was good and the staff had a warm, friendly attitude. The dining room atmosphere was nice. The staff doesn't speak English very well, so it was a little hard to communicate. They had a unique menu, and I tried asking questions about some of the dishes. However, it was hard to understand them with their accent / broken English. Overall, it was a great place! My husband and I plan on returning. I'll have to do a little research on the menu / dishes before we go back. Unfortunately, we did not take any pictures.

Devan S.

Yelp
Not the best experience. Service was very slow. Hibachi chicken was dry, vegetables were very hard. Teriyaki steak was chewy. Dumpling combo was decent, the pork dumplings were good. Might be back to try another type of dumpling.

Joe J.

Yelp
Ordered orange chicken and fried rice. By the picture there was a ton of chicken and broccoli. I received decent amount of chicken and 2 cold pieces of broccoli. Fried rice that had no other items in it...... a 1 and done for me

Donovan J.

Yelp
Wasn't very filling and not very good was small portions for a higher amount then usual.

Jake S.

Yelp
Fantastic. I've had this place 3 times, and this review has been overdue! I've had Spicy Beef Broth Ramen on my first trip. Absolutely AMAZING. Served piping hot and you can taste the fresh noodles. Also tried the juicy pork buns, which were very juicy indeed, and served in a cool steam basket. Also tried the Taro boba, which I wasn't crazy for as the boba wasn't balled it was little chunks.. guess I just wasn't expecting that. Next trip I had to bring my girl and show her the wonders of this place. She had Tame Ramen and I got the Tan Tan. The Tan Tan was delicious and spicy and unique- it doesn't come with broth rather a chili oil base.. never had something like that before.. but highly recommend it. Also ended up eating half my girl's ramen cause she gets full easy and I was in heaven. The food is colorful, and you feel good about eating it. Everything is fresh and you can taste it. This was a great experience on some authentic food. I tell everyone I can about this place when we talk ramen.
