The 23 Essential Chinese Restaurants in Los Angeles

"Dun Huang is known for its northwest Chinese cuisine. The signature Lanzhou beef noodles are a must-order dish. Walk up to the clear glass window to watch a bowl come together — from kneading the dough, pulling the noodles, and assembling with a radish-beef broth, chile oil, fatty beef chunks, green onion, and cilantro.  Dun Huang pulls eight different shapes of noodles, from extra-thin angel hair to extra-wide belts. Don’t forget to order a deep-fried flatbread marinated in cumin, Sichuan peppercorn, and dry chile oil. Other popular dishes include the cold eggplant salad, lamb tenderloin skewer, and sweet pork pita." - Kristie Hang

This place is incredible—I’ve been telling everyone about it! I was working in the area, and my coworkers suggested we check it out on a Tuesday around 5:30 PM. It’s tucked away in a strip mall, and while it wasn’t too busy when we arrived, the ambience was cozy and inviting. We ordered a couple of noodle dishes and a few appetizers, and everything was brought out fresh as it was ready. The flavors were outstanding—bold, well-balanced, and unlike your typical Chinese takeout. What really sets this place apart is that they make their noodles fresh in-house—you can actually watch them being pulled through a window in the dining room. They also incorporate spices you don’t usually find in Chinese cuisine, like cumin, which gave the dishes a really unique and delicious twist. A couple other things to note are that you order food through your phone which makes things super easy and they also do not serve any alcohol. However they have a wide variety of teas and soft drinks. This spot is definitely one of my new favorites, and I’ll be coming back anytime I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

Used to love coming here all the time. $12 for a massive amount of noodles (especially the extra wide ones) was such an amazing price. They even had a "Buy 10 orders, get a free noodle" promo that I was able to get several times. Place has such a great atmosphere and there's a large window into the kitchen where you can watch the chef's make their handpulled noodles. Only issue was that their skewers were about $2.50 a piece, pricey as heck for how thin they were. Sadly, they recently raised their prices and cancelled the promo right before I moved away. I'll truly miss this place!

Google
We were in the mood for lanzhou beef noodles and this restaurant came recommended by AI search results. The restaurant is also on many "best of" lists, so we felt reasonably assured that we would have good food. Correction ...the food is great. The lanzhou beef noodles were bouncy (not mushy), the soup was wonderfully spiced, and the beef slices were all tender and juicy. We also ordered the cold eggplant which contrasted well with the heat of the soup. Finally we added 5 lamb skewers which could easily have been the star of the meal, if it were not for the soup. Kudos to the staff for getting the food out quickly. There was no wait to get in. The restaurant space itself was modern yet comfortable and homey. Parking at the Diamond Plaza was a little nuts, but we were eventually able to find a space.

Google
So many reasons that find me coming back to this amazing restaurant. The service, always amazing. The staff are very attentive, and very friendly. The food, is always on point, and you get a lot for what you paying. The flavor are always amazing, from the skewkers, to the soup noodles, to the appetizers, to the dessert. Ive never left found wanting. The choice for noodles thickness is definitely a key factor, being able to choose the noodle that fits your need at the time is key! One place that I been back so many times I lost count, and still excited for the next trip back. I can wholeheartedly suggest this restaurant

Google
I came in around 5pm for an early dinner with the fam and I was very impressed with the quality and service of this restaurant. This restaurant probably has the cleanest tasting beef noodle soup with freshly made noodles I have ever had. The whole fish was plentiful with meat, flavor and veggies. The big plate of chicken was hearty without feeling heavy. The pickled cucumbers was refreshing and was a pretty cool cut. The lamb skewers were solid and the eggplant appetizer was very tasty. The rou jia mo was good, but not as good as the other main dishes. I also appreciate they give you thumbs up recommendations for the items on the menu and so far they have been good recommendations. I will return next time for more tasty dishes.

Google
Beef noodle soups tasted clean and hearty. I prefer the thin noodles over the wide ones, and I really enjoyed the string beans and lamb skewers. Food came out fast and service was good.

Google
I love noodles! Tonight my family invited me to eat at Dun Huand Noodles. Well! The food was incredibly tasty. Their chef makes noodles by hand the Chinese traditional way. We shared so many plates of food and I couldn't decide which one was my favorite; all were delicious. Their staff was caring and friendly. You can tell they hired a great manager to run the restaurant. This place is super clean and the restaurant's design is tastefully done. This is the place to eat when you want good food and atmosphere.

Yelp
Over the past few years, I have loved this restaurant so much that I not only visited alone frequently but also brought my family, friends, and colleagues--all of whom enjoyed it as well. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and even the takeout packaging was handled with great care. However, this time, I was disappointed. Ever since they switched to ordering via QR code, it feels like the service has disappeared. Aside from bringing water and delivering food, no one checked in to see how our meal was. We had to pack our leftovers ourselves, and after paying, the receipt was simply placed on the table without even a word of thanks. The service is truly not what it used to be! I'm sharing this disappointing dining experience with everyone--since there's no service, you might want to reconsider how much tip you leave.

Yelp
My favorite was the hand pulled chili oil noodles (didn't get in photo). These texture was just sooo chewy and I love the wide noodle shapes. Scissors were provided to cut the long noodles. The beef noodle soup hit the spot since I was looking for something warm to fill my stomach! The mung bean noodles were so interesting to try and I liked them. These were served cold and it was a jello-y texture. These The service was quick. Like really fast to serve the food, they might have had the food ready already. The ambience was casual, saw a lot of families eating there. It was funny since the music was more of hype music lol. I world recommend anyone liking chinese noodles to try this place :)

Yelp
I ordered a dish of spicy beef today, and from the very first bite I could tell something was wrong. When I smelled it closely, it clearly had a spoiled odor. The cold marinated wood ear mushrooms were also not fresh. This was my first time eating here, and it will definitely be my last -- truly disappointing.

Yelp
3.75 stars! One of my favorite go-to restaurants when in Rowland Heights. Ambiance- modern Menu- order via phone. Prices have gone up- about $13-14 a bowl of noodles as of 2/2025. Service- friendly/ attentive. Not much interaction because you order and call for your check via your phone. (-): Water was served room temperature. My bowl of beef noodles had a small spicy symbol but it did not come out spicy so I had to request for my own chili oil and customize it. Overall, the value is good for the portion but the taste is average/ could use more improvement. Tips: Park downstairs if parking outside is chaotic. There tends to be more parking underground.

Yelp
Gentle lighting, delicate instrumental music, classical yet modern decor, the chatter of nearby gatherings, and the quiet slurping of noodles. While you scan the QR code on the table and order from the web page, the staff is very much present and helpful. The waitress is very sweet and brought us extra napkins and refills without asking. I came looking for some good braised beef noodle soup (got the beef and tendon one). The one they have isn't quite the style I was searching for but it was nonetheless very good. The broth was flavorful and had good depth, had a bit of a medicinal taste but very low key, and was too light in color. There wasn't much in the bowl other than noodles, meat, bok choy, and broth. No green onions, no cilantro, no suan cai. Not my type of beef noodle soup obviously. But the meat and tendon was very tender and good and the noodles were really the main focus. All the noodles here are fresh and hand made. They whole time we were eating we could watch someone making them in the kitchen. They also offer a staggering amount of noodle options from thin to thick. Husband got the regular noodles. I got the wide noodles. Both good but more towards an al dente taste. Funny thing was trying to share the noodles with each other. It's like the noodles had no end (weren't cut). One continuous super noodle is seemed in each bowl. Aside from noodles we had the scallion pancakes which I thought were overly greasy but at the same time some of the best ever. The price point was high but I would order them again in a heartbeat because they had such an amazing crunchy outside layer with a soft chewy interior. We also tried the ma po tofu rice. The tofu flavor was really good and had a kick to it as it should but the rice was way too hard. I'm always disappointed when Asian places have bad rice. This rice was more suitable for making fried rice. Note: They have a stamp card. Buy 10 noodles get one free. Nice frequent noodling program.

Yelp
First impression coming in here was nice decor menus and ordering is off a chowbus QR code led me to believe this was almost a self serve kind of restaurant. But actually it's full service and the service is super good. Food - Beef noodle soup here isn't traditional Taiwanese style but of a more herbal healthy China inspired flavor. I'm usually not a fan of this flavor but this place really hits the spot. The soup is fantastic and plenty of meat and tendon with bok choy down your the last bite. Never thought I would like it this much. The scallion pancakes are crispy with lots of texture to it. A true joy worth every sent. Mapo Tofu dish is different from ones I'm used to ordering. It feels like an upscale version of what I'm used to. One gripe the rice was hard and not impressed by that. Parking here is shared with the outdoor mall and will get very busy on the weekends and holidays. Highly recommend this location for food and service!

Yelp
Love me a good hand pulled noodle place. This checks all the boxes. Good broth, good noodles, good texture, can choose noodle type. Good price. Clean, nice staff and a huge bonus for being in the heart of bustling Flushing, they have a small parking lot (approx five cars)

Yelp
Came to Dun Huang for our birthday dinner as per my sister's recommendations. Their menu is quite extensive and we opted to order several dishes to eat family style; love the convenience of ordering through the app; which allows all members of your party to add their desired dishes. All the dishes were well seasoned and very delicious. My favorite dishes were the whole fish and the cucumber appetizer. Will definitely be coming back to try their other dishes.

Yelp

Yelp
One of our new favorite chinese restaurants! Very clean and elegant decor but not overly classy that made you feel the need to dress up for the occasion. But I mean you can if you want and rent out the private room in the middle to host a big family gathering. I'm just here for the food. The cold pickled cucumbers is a must have to start the meal and built healthy appetite. I really enjoyed the cold noodle dish we had the first time which is a savory sweet spice dish which was great for a hot summer day. Another great dish I really enjoyed was the mapo tofu which may seem like a basic chinese move to get, but I really enjoy the well balanced numbing spice of the dish with the gentle sweet heat that it provided. It's not too crowded most of the time because there's just so many food options in this plaza but I would say this is sort of a hidden gem of the plaza. Btw it's a chinese restaurant so you'll have to flag down staff if you want some attention since they'll likely leave you alone to enjoy your meal most of the time.

Yelp
I liked the lamb skewers and noodles here. The noodles are made fresh by hand at the restaurant. Service was just okay. It has a nice interior decor. I would recommend this place. I will be going back to try other menu items. 4 stars for food 3 stars for service
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite noodle soup spot! The hand pulled noodles have such an amazing texture and the broth in the braised beef noodles is so delicious. The potato salad and cucumber salad are both super refreshing for the summer too. They also really yummy sweet and sour pork ribs- probably one of the best ones I've tried. Everything I've eaten here has hit the spot. The waitresses always kept a lookout, making sure our water was always filled. You order everything online with a QR code but feel free to ask any questions to the waitresses. The space itself is very modern and clean but still has a very obvious Chinese influence. I actually really liked sitting in the rooms they have, but keep in mind that reserving the rooms means 20% gratuity is automatically added to your bill at the end.

Yelp
Enjoyed the 5 piece lamb skewer, pig ear, and to share. These lamb skewers I find, are rare to be able to order at restaurants and I've only enjoyed them at night markets. It's $12 for 5 and they are soft and flavorful. The Dun Huang Shaozi noodles are made in house and packed with meat and veggies. This restaurant is so elegant inside and very clean. Menu prices are affordable for great quality food. Our waitress was very attentive and our food came out quick. Plenty of parking on the main and lower levels. Definitely a great place to have for lunch during work or a nice dinner to have during the weekend.

Yelp
Overall: 4/5 for food and service. They give a lot of food making it worth it! I would definitely come back here again for the price and quantity of the food. The Service: Service was fast and efficient. We were quickly seated on a Tuesday evening. All their ordering was via a QR code. The food came out in less than 5-10 minutes after ordered which was crazy fast! The waitress was attentive and would refill our water and bring out extra napkins for us. The Food: Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup with Thin and Wide Noodles - The dish came with SOO many noodles so we were so full by the end of dinner. The chili oil was flavorful and the beef was tender Pickled Cucumber - It tasted like a sweet pickled cucumber, nothing too special. It was a bit hard to eat because it's one long cucumber piece. It was nice and refreshing to go with the beef noodle soup Cumin Lamb Skewers - The lamb was nicely seasoned and covered in the tasty cumin powder. Pork Pita Burger - Not a lot of places serve this dish. It was somewhat lackluster - it felt very one noted and hard to finish because we got tired of it quickly. Price: The prices are sooooo good for the amount of food you get which is why I would come here again! The Atmosphere: The restaurant is very large and well decorated. There are plenty of tables for large parties and small parties. Parking: It is located in Diamond Plaza. When we went, there was no issue with parking. However, the plaza is generally very crowded on the weekends and parking may bit a bit tougher since there are a lot of restaurants located in this plaza.

Yelp
The Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup was delicious! Their hand pulled wide noodles were amazing, and the noodle-to-meat ratio was perfect. I was able to enjoy a piece of meat with every bite of noodle. Their broth was not too salty and had a nice kick to it!

Yelp
Delicious after a tiring dentist appointment. I feel nothing but food coma and pure bliss~ Service and ambiance is also always good and it feels like i rented this place out.

Yelp
We picked up take out for dinner. We got the original beef noodle soup and the braised beef noodle soup. Both were packaged nicely. The portion is decent for $12 each. Flavor was 8/10. I would recommend this place since the price point is reasonable for what you get.

Yelp
This place needs more recognition for what it is. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The service is always good. Finally, the food served here always tastes amazing. We always order one or two of their noodle soups. Their lamb skewers are a must. Most of their signature lamb dishes have cumin in them, which is the spice of the region from where their food is influenced. I recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone wanting to give the other restaurants in this plaza besides New Capital.
google avatar

Yelp
Very delicious! Just ordered togo here and tried the lamb cumin hamburger, garlic pork hamburger, and their cold dishes (seaweed) and cucumber. Everything was so good. Will definitely be back din in next time.
google avatar

Mimi M.

Yelp
We had dinner with reservations for party of 7 and they accommodated very well, we got the room to ourselves and the food are amazing tasty. I don't eat hot or spicy food at all but I tried their other spicy noodles they are not too spicy or hot. You have to try their other eggplant salad because its cold but so good and refreshing at the same time. We also had the Lamb skewers and its so good, i should've ordered the spicy ones. Next time. Staff are friendly and attentive. They are so helpful and knowledgeable. The ambiance is cool and chill place. Family friendly
google avatar

Yelp
Deliciousness! I love the cold noodles here. The cucumbers are amazing too. The portions are generous and the noodles are definitely made freshly. My go-to place!

Yelp
came on a friday evening around 8:30pm & was seated right away :-) in the plaza with takashima & duke bakery, so the parking lot is big -- yet hard to find parking bc it was a fri night. really good & fast service! the workers speak english & canto here as well ordered 4 dishes for 2 people: N2. Original Lanzhou Beef Noodles (flat) - clear but flavorful broth, not too salty. super qq noodles. N3. Braised Beef Noodles (wide) - flavorful broth, noodles were perfectly bouncy as well. B4. Beef Skewers - perfectly grilled, meat was juicy and seasoned just right. E7. Dry Fried String Beans - not too dry which i loved. umami and tasty. a staple! total ended being around $70 after tax & tip (18%) the ambiance is super nice, upscale & clean but also comfortable & cozy. definitely coming back, i think this will be my goto place for hand pulled noodles in rowland!
google avatar

Yelp
(IG: @foodwithdeni) Devoured an Original Lanzhou Beef Noodles from @dunhuangfood during this cold weather!! We visited during a week night so it wasn't busy and the food came right away. It was the perfect portion and would order again!
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
came here on valentine's day with the family and got a spread of noodles to end the night. we got the braised beef noodle, the og beef noodle, sticky rice shu mai, and string beans. we also got a dry noodle dish but i forgot what it was called. price was very reasonable for the amount of food, service was good, and the dishes themselves were pretty tasty as well! i especially liked how clean the broth tasted. the only thing was that the string beans were a tad salty and the server said they didn't have any lemons to add to our water, but the table next to us had lemon in their tea :( not a big deal, but it would've been nice if they were just honest about it
google avatar

Tracey V.

Yelp
Came here on a rainy night for some soup noodles and ordered: 1) signature Lanzhou noodles- beef noodles- this was really good and flavorful, the noodles remind me of ramen noodles with really good chewy texture and slices of beef. 2) dun huang shaozi noodles- not sure if this is a region dish but it reminded me of thanksgiving leftovers with pieces of potatoes, carrot, mushroom egg and grounded pork. Wouldn't order this again but glad I tried it out for my curiosity Price was decent for the sizes of each bowl, no wait is a plus, and nice staff
google avatar

Emily W.

Yelp
Overall, Dun Huang's pretty consistent in quality and a pretty nice place to go when you want a good bowl of noodles. We had their Lamb Ribs, and they were pretty good along with their braised intestine noodle soup. Their cold appetizers are also pretty flavorful, and the service fast when you scan the QR code to order online. Our main gripe is that the place is pretty heavy on the salt (though our tastes do run a bit light on the salt spectrum). I like that they give stamp cards for every bowl of noodles with 10 bowls, netting you a free bowl. I'll come again when I'm craving some handmade noodles.
google avatar

Mickey L.

Yelp
The service in this place has really gone downhill. To highlight two different recent experiences: Dine in with a large group in a reserved room results in an automatic 20% tip. The tip is largely for thr room since the servers basically do not check on you at all. You have to go out od the room to get anything and everything. Dine out with Ubereats they gave away my order to someone else. Found out this after the 3rd delivery driver came and I asked him through text to see if the order was not being fulfilled correctly. Apperently Ubereats was going to call them to remake the order. The driver commented the restaurant was like "...." then the order was canceled. This delayed dinner plans over 40 minutes. Overall the place looks nice, the food is passable, it is slightly overpriced and the service is lacking.
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
Amazing food and beautiful interior design is how I would describe this restaurant. Inside is quite spacious and neatly decorated for the holidays. It had a very elegant design since the tables were heavy slabs of marble countertops. Eating here was quite the treat peaceful experience. For the food, I ordered the pork pepper bun and the beef noodle soup. The bun was good but nothing to rave about. The beef noodles however was the star of the show! I recently came back from my trip in Taiwan and was pleasantly surprised with this beef noodle soup quality. It was better than most average places in Taiwan. The beef was tender while the broth was flavorful. The handpulled noodles were amazing as well. Prices were very reasonable for the noodles. I would come back just to try their other noodle dishes.
google avatar

Jessica Y.

Yelp
If you're looking for beef noodle soup, look no further! They have other entrees but we primarily came for the beef noodle soup. The broth is very light and I loved the chewy texture of the noodles. The house special chili oil is a nice touch. You can tell by the varying widths of the noodles that it's definitely hand-pulled! We came for a dinner on Friday night and got seated immediately. The dining area is quite nice and the prices are very reasonable. It's located in a very busy plaza so finding parking can be a little stressful, just be patient! Service was efficient and they didn't try to rush us out even though we spent a decent amount of time dining in.

Yelp
We just came back from Taiwan and my girlfriend wanted beef noodle soup. Located in a very popular and packed plaza but don't worry they also have underground parking. The area is pretty empty on Monday nights. The resturant is freaking beautiful on the inside with Chinese instrumentals playing in the background. The food came out extremely fast in under 5minutes and man these bowls of noodles were HUGE. I'm sure as heck you can share 1 bowl with 2 people. The pork bun was a bit more expensive from what it was but still very tasty. The beef noodle soup was very rich and I would definitely order it again. Better than some of the ones I've had in Taiwan. You get to choose between 5 different noodle size / types which is pretty awesome and I saw someone doing hand pulled noodles in the kitchen so it's definitely fresh. Food: 10/10 Price: 8/10 Ambience: 10/10 Service: 10/10
google avatar

Jetrina M.

Yelp
We went here with a group of 4 on Black Friday for lunch. It was not crowded at all and we were seated quickly. We each ordered a noodle soup dish and had the cucumbers and skewers to share. The noodle dishes were all very flavorful and had large portions. I liked that you could pick the style and size of the noodle for your dish. The skewers were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. We ordered both lamb and beef skewers. Would come again if I'm in the area. Free parking in the shared lot. Only indoor dining available.

Yelp
Wow! Amazing hand-pulled noodles and skewers. All the l noodle dishes were well prepared, tasty with great flavors. Dun Huang has northern Chinese roots. They do lamb very well. Service was fast, friendly and efficient.

Yelp
Always seen Dun Huang around but never tried it until now! Located in Diamond Plaza off Fullerton Rd, parking is plentiful during the day (I know it can get pretty busy at DP sometimes). This place is def decorated on the fancier side compared to other beef noodle soup spots I've been to. The noodles were fresh, could be a bit chewier to my liking, but the broth, meat, and daikon were definitely mouthwatering. I really enjoyed this place and will be adding it to a regular go-to spot.
google avatar

Sean Z.

Yelp
Located in a busy plaza. The restaurant appears to be a good place for family, group, or individual dinning. The service was prompt and the soup noodle was served promptly, almost too quick. The texture of the noodle was tender; still can feel the positive action on biting down; definitely not under or over cooked. The beef tendon was cooked thoroughly, which it wasn't hard on the teeth. The shank part was good, slightly on the dry side tho. I also tried a large lamb skewer. It was served a few minutes after the bowl of noodle. The skewer was tasty, and the lamb was chewy without breaking your jaws. Overall. It was a positive visit. It gets a 4.7 out of 5. Will try again!

Yelp
Located in Diamond plaza. Plenty of parking, but can be pack during the weekend. Ordered to go and the food is so flavorful and yummy. Ordered: Lanzhou Beef noodle soup: very flavorful and clean Lamb fried rice: yummy Chicken plate: love the fresh noodle and flavor Got the pork pita burger: yummy and unique spice. Definitely a must try.

Yelp
Explored Rowland Heights this weekend, and definitely no regrets. I found a good noodle restaurant in Diamond Plaza. 敦煌 brings a cozy and classy vibe. We made our order on the phone with the convenience of the QR code available on the table. The foods came out pretty quick and the service is welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant for its cleanliness, kind service and authentic 兰州 hand pulled noodles :p

Yelp
I ordered Togo from Dun Huang on CNY day. I was expecting a very busy day for them but surprisingly it wasn't too busy, upon walking in, they were going to seat me right away. However, I had already did a phone order. Needless to say, their service is quick. I ordered the signature lanzhou beef noodle soup and the original. The only difference is the spiciness of the bowl. I also placed an order of beef skewers... come to my surprise it was 5 skewer sticks in one order. I thought it was going to be 5 beef pieces to one order. The seasoning and tenderness of the beef skewer was perfection. The bowl of noodles was good too. FYI: if ordering Togo, the meat was cold so we definitely had to reheat it over the stuff for optimal taste. :)

Yelp
Such a great place to grab a hot bowl of noodles and some sides for a simple, flavor-packed meal. We got the signature Lanzhou beef noodles, pork pita burger, marinated cucumber salad, and wood ear mushroom salad for a quick lunch. The Lanzhou noodles were perfectly flavored, handmade, and tasted fresh and chewy. The pork pita burger is an ok pick (I've had better from nearby restaurants) but a pita burger is a pita burger. The cucumber salad tasted over marinated and completely lost its crunch so we didn't finish it but the wood ear mushroom was perfectly flavored. Service here is a tiny bit slow especially if you're seated on the right side when you enter the restaurant, but just make sure you're waving your arms a bit to grab their attention.

Yelp
Went early in the evening, food was delicious. I had the signature pulled noodle, the cumin pita bread, eggplant salad and cucumber salad. First off the cucumber and eggplant salad were extremely well seasoned and a flavor bomb each bite. I was a little surprised with just how big each plate amounted to but not in a bad way at all. The pita bread was very cumin forward in a floral way. Very solid. The noodles did let me down a bit however I suspect it to be because of the order I ate everything. The mild flavor of the noodles were a little lost behind the flavors of the eggplant and cucumber salad. Service was good, we were seated almost right away but we definitely came before any semblence of rush hour. They have digital menus and orders but our server came by constantly keeping waters filled up and making sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant is very pretty bur not so much to the point of feeling like you needed to dress for it.

Yelp
I love this place so much!!! The noodles are so good and fresh. I love the soup, although slightly oily. The skewers are tasty!! Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. There was no wait and the servers were extremely friendly. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
We arrived around dinner time at about 6 pm. There was no line, about 4 tables taken by small parties. The service was slow, we had to ask for water and to get somebody to take our order. The food came pretty fast after the order was taken. But nobody checked on our table throughout our dinner. We constantly needed to wave for the staffs attention to order more water, rice, and even for the check. A few dishes our family enjoyed, like the Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodles (flavorful and good portion) Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs (our family favorite! Tender meat and delicious, decent in portion) Mutton On Bones (pretty blend, soft meat, but some of our fam really enjoyed it) Lamb Tenderloin (tender and marinated perfectly, we loved it) Dry Fried Cauliflower (enjoyed it) Dry Fried String Beans (enjoyed it) Mediocre dishes Dun Huang Cold Noodle Big Plate Chicken Mopu tofu Worst dishes Vermicelli with pork (it's soupy but not soup, too gluteny, slimy texture, it's just not pleasant) Would I go back anytime soon? Most likely not Parking is always crazy in this plaza

Yelp
Been here quite a few times now, and Dun Haung have make their way into our regular restaurant rotation because of all around good food and fair prices. We find ourselves ordering the same noodle dishes every time (mostly because I just want my picky toddler to eat when we are out) but we always order different side dishes. There are a few forgettable dishes (such as their "pitas"), there are many more that we love (almost everything else). Today we tried the Dun Huang grilled fish and it was very tasty. There's a window by which you can see the chefs pulling noodles by hand and I love how you can pick how thick you want your noodles. Whether soupy or dry, they always have the perfect bite. While overall this restaurant has a casual vibe/service, they also have a semi-private room in the back looks quite nice for a more formal setting.

Yelp
Delicious spot for classic beef noodle soup. The broth is clear and tasty and the noodles are hand-pulled. You can choose the thickness of your noodles but I prefer the regular. I especially like this place because the non-spicy beef noodle option actually isn't spicy AT ALL. Love that there is still a great flavor without the spice for those that can't eat spicy things. Interior is so pretty and was well decorated for the past Christmas season! Service is great and fast -- probably because there's not many people in here despite their large space.

Yelp
This place has a really nice aesthetic. I went on a random Thursday night and it didn't have many customers so we were seated right away. There is a window into the kitchen that customers can watch the chef hand pull noodles which is pretty cool. I ordered the beef noodle soup. It was very tasty and the meat was soft. Great place all around and I would come back again to try something different.

Yelp
The food at this restaurant is really authentic, besides coming in good portions. The dishes we ordered, besides having great presentation and smelled fantastic, they tasted even better. Will be back for more!
