Road Tripping North in Search of at Least a Little Summer | Eater
"A scenic overlook that delivers one of the most breathtaking views the author encountered on the trip, presented as a highlight among quieter, less-crowded outdoor stops." - Jenny G. Zhang
There's a wonderful view over Sleeping Bear Dunes from this overlook. It is a stop along Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive and has somewhat limited parking spots. There is an access loop that you can use to drop off passengers. There are also a few informational plaques that give details on the history of the area/nature.

Easy to get to and well worth the stop. Don't miss it, if you are in the area.

So beautiful and peaceful. The stars out here are amazing. Brought back great memories for the husband. Can't wait to do this again when we have more time. The ticket cost $25 and it's good for 7 days which isn't bad. I think we'll rv or camper it next time.

Very scenic place. The Overlook is small and accessible from the scenic route. Pay and use route. Usually crowded on weekends, can get busy during the afternoons with less parking space.
No restrooms at this location, but has a few picnic tables

One heck of a climb. People at the bottom looked like ants. It's a really step and pure awesomeness. Climbing down does not look worth it though! People were literally crawling back up and it was taking them forever.

A beautiful stop along the Pierce Stocking Drive. One can see the sand dunes and the Lake Michigan. One can also look out to South Manitou Island and something seems like a lighthouse on the island. You can also see the historic D. H. Day farm (the while farm house/buildings), and the Glen Lake.
