Yelp
This is one of two regular Dunkin' locations I visit almost daily. Since I moved to East Boston, I get my morning coffee here and sometimes get food on weekend mornings.
The first thing that stands out to me about this location versus the dozens of others I have been to is how friendly the staff is (most of the time). I've been called "sweetie", "sugar", and "love" more times than I can count. As annoying as that can be for some people, I actually find it refreshing and different to have a Dunkin' employee engage with a customer rather than have their eyes glazed over like one of their crullers. They are quick and efficient and can get the line moving even if it's 10 people deep.
One complaint I have is how they only have napkins located at the one "pick-up" area and not over above the trash with the straws. It creates a little confusion for new customers and that area can get jammed up. Also, I was waiting to get my coffee the other morning and a morbidly obese gentelman was balancing juices, donuts, sandwiches, and napkins in his hand while also using his cane and he SMACKED his great-one-sized beverage over. As if in slow motion, all customers in line watched as the drink hit the floor, the top popped off, and molten hot hot chocolate sprayed EVERYONE. People started cursing and yelling, I got it all over my shoes and just left without my coffee. The obese man didn't even apologize and just yelled for someone to get a mop and replace his supersized chocolate drink. This isn't really the fault of the location, but the "jammed up" area I mentioned above could have contributed to the spill.
