So this is actually an update of a previous review I'd done here, where I reluctantly gave 2 stars.
As I mentioned in the previous review, I'm not one to leave negative reviews. And even though my experience the first time was a bit rough (I tried to spin it into a funny review but the truth of the matter was that customer service was bad, mistakes were abundant, and there was a weird smell in the store).
Today I decided to give the place a second chance. The person I was with urged us to go to a different donut place, but "No!" I said! "This time I will have my Nitro Cold Brew!" I proclaimed, determined.
So reluctantly, my crew followed me and we ate here. Big mistake.
First of all, the nitro cold brew that I wanted so badly both this time and the first time? Unavailable. To this day I have never had it.
Oh, and did I mention that there were people literally fighting when we walked in? They were complaining about their order as well.
So eventually, it was my turn to order and funnily enough, the exact same issue I ran into last time happened again (not just the lack of nitro cold brew - serious deja vu here!). We made our order, had a full on conversation about the availability of cold brew coffee and I made an order for regular cold brew since I was informed there was no nitro.
Everything but the cold brew came. So I waited patiently. And waited. And waited. Eventually we learned that like last time, the coffee order had somehow slipped through the cracks and I had to order again.
Did I mention the smell was still there?
Sorry, I realize this review is all over the place and I apologize for the stream of consciousness but oh my gosh this was disappointing. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I actually did my first review update so that I could lower this place from two stars, to one star.
This review is no longer just an outlet for me to talk about my negative experience at Dunkin'. It is now me actively advising people to STAY AWAY from this place. It's seriously is not representative of the brand.
