Google
I actually prefer driving to this Dunkin today 09/01 at 10:30 am. I didn’t catch the lady who was able to grab my food and my drink right away because i accidentally sent it at the drive thru, but she was great. I used to work at Starbucks for 5 years, so i know how mean customers can get. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Google
They were out of almost all donuts... out of milk... couldn't do frozen Coffees... Super stoked I drove out of my way 😅.. Also loved the sass when I asked one time if they had a certain donut and she said " we have the donuts I listed " I can't remember the donuts you just listed off once... Then they DIDNT have change we almost had to leave with nothing...

I had a really bad experience with the manager Nico. She’s rude, super bad customer service skills, he can barely speak English and her personal hygiene terrible. I wasn’t happy with my order and she was trying to fight me instead of replacing it. Please put more qualified people. 5 stars to Sarah who was very kind amd sweet and replaced my order immediately, and actually put effort on it.

Google
If I could leave a zero star I would, they were ignorant enough to give me a macchiato with no shots of espresso just literally milk and hazelnut syrup like who goes to Dunkin’ just to get a cup of milk obviously it was missing the shots but they just didn’t care and I’m late to work so I had to leave.

My boyfriend and I go to this DD every other Sunday. Today, a man brought in donuts from outside that he received through the drive thru & asked for replacement donuts. One of the workers took the same donuts & returned them to the tray for resale. I told her that she JUST put them back after he handled them & she justified it by saying, “oh. He didn’t want them.” Who knows who touched them. I mentioned it to her coworker, who confirmed that THAT wasn’t protocol. But the other woman just stared and glared at me for calling her out.

Google
My complaints are not of the store or the employees that were working, as the store was clean and employee that helped us was nice. But it is more of pricing. For a dozen donuts it is almost $20. Hot chocolate smallest size they have was about $3.50. I wanted to try the maple bacon snack strips. It was 8 strips for $3.50, sounds good 👍 I didn't expect big strips of bacon but what I got was a couple half strips and then bacon crumbles. And there was a slight taste of maple syrup but it wasn't enough. I was expecting a way more sweet and salty combo. I was bummed. Overall I was unimpressed after leaving when I was so excited for breakfast this morning

Google
Americano is what you’d expect. No vegan options and obviously all the donuts are processed garbage. This location has some indoor and outdoor seating. No outlets for laptops outside. Inside I believe there are some. 1 bathroom.

Google
Great one of a kind doughnuts (recommend the cinnamon apple) and great coffee drinks. Location is a bit hard to get to if East bound but the staff is amazing and helpful. The only other criticism I would give is no way to identify what doughnuts are what with out asking the super busy staff, they need a sign.

Paul D.

Yelp
It's ok, especially as a drive-through, because the ambience inside is minimal. The doughnuts are just ok compared to the competition. You come here because you get hungry after walking ten miles looking for stuff in Home Depot.

Yelp
Noticed out of all San Diego locations, this one had mobile ordering turned off which was a little strange/inconvenient, but I decided to visit anyway. We ran out of nespresso pods so I stopped by Dunkin. Once I ordered, they shared they ran out of oat milk (the only milk we drink) which put a damper on things. If mobile ordering was on, I would have been able to tell they were out of oat milk. The employee said they could just sell me two shots so I could make coffee at home (so I did) but they served it in a cold cup with ice. While I waited for them to remake the shots (warm) I had to listen to the employees complain about their coworkers and bosses. Regardless, coffee tastes strange.. almost like an acrylic plastic. Would return for the breakfast sandwiches, but do not recommend any hot coffee or donuts. The donuts are always served cold and I find that strange.

Yelp
Came in today (Sunday) around noon. I figured it would be busy, but unfortunately not only was it busy...but it was also grossly understaffed. There were approximately 11 people standing to the left (again, approximately....could have been more or less) waiting for their drinks/food, and 9 people waiting in line ahead of me to order. (Counted 9) Was the customer at the register taking forever....of course they were. Is that Dunkin Donuts of El Cajon's fault?? Of course not. What is their fault tho, is literally having one employee for the front register, one employee for the drive through, and one employee making drinks. 3. That's it. With a line wrapped around the parking lot, and a line almost out the door, that should be unacceptable in any business. I turned around and left. This seems to be the trend with this Dunkin. High turnover of employees. Short staffed. Slow service. Incompetent franchise owner(s). Take your business elsewhere. You'll have a brighter and less stressful day because of it.

Yelp
Had to get my drink remade 3 times. Apparently, when you order online, the sticker that prints in store does not have the compete break down of what you order?????? So when i went inside for the drink to be remade correctly, the lady at the front was like "honey are you sure" i'm like yes, i'm sure. and she remakes it and uses the wrong milk AGAIN. I had to flask and make sure it was non dairy and she said the sticker doesn't say. I had to keep showing her my online order on the app and still couldn't do it right as if she was in such a hurry. if she just took her time it would have been fine. I was so respectful and even apologetic about having my drink remade. I was over it and decided to just take it and leave, now i'm drinking straight up milk with a hint of caramel THIS DUNKIN' LOCATION IS HORRIBLE.

Yelp
First I'd like to say I do like Dunkin's app they offer. Great rewards and my daughter loves their mini bagel bites. BUT. Their services is horrible. I used my rewards for the first time a while back and redeemed 500 points for my iced coffee. Ordered it through the drive thru, no charge since I used my rewards. I get to the window and they give me a cold brew which I don't drink or order ever. The employee said i ordered it but i had my order on my app and it clearly said ICED COFFEE. she didn't take the time to read it and gave me such an attitude when i told her i didn't order that. I even had to pay for the drink they made because she was so arrogant and I needed to get to work since the drive through took 20 mins to get my drink. 2. The next time I ordered through the drive thru again on my app. I get to the window and it's the same girl. She didn't say ONE WORD to me. Handed me my order and still said NOT A WORD. 3. Today, I ordered through the app at the drive thru. I get to the location and the line is wrapped down to citi bank. I parked and went inside to see if I can get my order there instead. I ask the employee if I can still get my order here and he looks at me for 10 seconds, blank stare. Almost to ignore my question. Like I am inconveniencing him so much. Very rude. I am a manager at a food establishment and I would be ashamed if my employees treated customers this way. Also the new cups they have leak everywhere. If my daughter didn't love the bagels there I would never come here again. I'm not sure who these employees think they are but it's not hard to be a decent person. I don't write reviews because I don't expect anything to be done about this since I'm sure their management doesn't do anything about customer service. It's a shame

Yelp
We did a drive thru run here after an Aldi run in the area. The chorizo breakfast wrap wasn't half bad. Their hash brown tots were a nice side order. Just beat the midday rush in the drive thru and got out of here in about 10 minutes. Place seemed efficiently run compared to other DDs I've been to.

Bella ..

Yelp
recently hurt my back and decided I wanted some Dunkin' Donuts to be a pick me up. Ordered a doughnut paid for the donut at the window. Never got the donut. Go inside oh, they're sold out. because the person in front of me decided to order them for their dozen. Also, pretty sure when I order a decaf coffee, they always give me caffeinated, which causes me to have worse heart palpitations than I already have.

Ameera H.

Yelp
I had a great experience at Dunkin' Donuts! The customer service was excellent, and Eric was very friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back!

Lori H.

Yelp
We stopped in for breakfast - got two $6.00 meal deals. Coffee was great as always. Breakfast sandwiches looked like they'd been purposely stepped on - totally flat and flavorless. And the "hasbrowns" were cold and soggy - greasy and had a funky taste. Couldn't eat them at all. We should have had donuts. Two stars for the coffee

Karenita K.

Yelp
So disgusting it tasted like chemicals. I'm not joking. I saw the lady fill my entire cup up with milk and add like 2 ingredients. First sip I honestly thought they must've put soap in it on accident. Needless to say, I didn't drink it. A waste of $8. Also, their drive though smelled like sewer water. Absolute trash. I went to another location to give this place another try and they did not disappoint. It's clearly THIS location that is bad.

Allison M.

Yelp
Shoutout to Alyssa at the Dunkin on Parkway in El Cajon. You always have a smile on your face and you're always the nicest person there. You make going there more enjoyable.

Tiffne S.

Yelp
Honestly just save your time when it comes to this Dunkin location. Came about a half hour before they closed and they refused to serve any food. I totally understand closing in the next 30 mins but if you're open shouldn't you still be serving food? Not only that I've come here a handful of times and every time it seems like none of the staff want to be there it makes you feel kind of crappy even having to order or make them do anything because they make the costumers feel like a burden.

Sydney V.

Yelp
Coffee tastes burnt and they gave me the wrong donut. I asked for glazed and I got a plain one

Raghda S.

Yelp
I've been here a few times, but something so simple, yet so rare nowadays, led me to leave a review. Liz! Liz greeted us with a smile right as we walked in and told us what she recommended when the glazed doughnut was out. It seems like people are used to the "I hate my job" attitude, but it's so refreshing to see someone so positive and cheery. My girls loved their pink glazed donuts, and I enjoyed my macchiato.

Haslett S.

Yelp
We came through the drive thru around 7:30, and I've never experienced such bad customer service ever... I was served by this gentleman and I saw him make my Oder wrong and when I tell him my order again at the window he just ignores me and tells me my total, and when he hands me my drink i tell him again that I wanted my drink hot but he just gives me the worst attitude and slams the window At my face. I hope he can get trained better because if his customer service was this poor then I would have never come to this location.

Haylee J.

Yelp
Coming into dunkin, I was feeling horrible from a long day at work. But coming into big smiles and meeting this staff was the highlight of my day. This 5 star review is solely for Jessica and Emiliano, I had a bad experience where I had received the wrong order. They both went ahead and fixed my order completely and had the best attitude towards me. Nicest and most professional people i've encountered. They definitely deserve a raise based on their amazing customer service and dedication towards making their customers feel heard and seen. It's refreshing to know that we still have amazing customer service like these displayed today. Will definitely come back during their shift.

Michaela A.

Yelp
Would not come back to this location I just wanted a food item and a drink and they would not sell food so I was stuck in line due to the long line I could not get out so it was a waste of time

Anthony J.

Yelp
The ladies there provide a smile every time we're there, happy to see us and especially our doggos , they literally have pup cups waiting. The guy there is nice too, great team, great job making us customers happy, you know how we can be sometimes so it's time to be positive, everyone always finds a way to complain but never compliment. Thank you DD yall rock have a great 2024.!!!

Francesca L.

Yelp
ordered an everything bagel with butter very simple what the heck do i get a bagel with butter and cream cheese mashed together this morning it was disgusting and upsetting

Julie H.

Yelp
Guillermo is always personable professional and courteous. When using the app to order, he makes a point to address people by their name. What a welcome personal touch to customer service! Thank you to Guillermo and all the DD team!

Hailey R.

Yelp
don't come to this location.. 1. the entire staff is extremely rude & think they have some entitlement to be that way for whatever reason, no matter how polite, patient, & respectful you are. 2. one of the female managers has DISGUSTING hygiene as well as attitude, i've tried to ask her for my items i've waited quite a while for and when she came around to basically throw it into my arms she REAKED OF FISH. (she's not the only one tho...most of the staff smells like they don't bathe) 3. there's whole vibe/ energy of this place is just plain sinister & dirty this location is what you'd think DT SD was supposed to be like.

Nik C.

Yelp
I always have an amazing experience here! Coffee and food is great and the staff is friendly. Definitely my go to spot from now on

Amanda M.

Yelp
12:45pm on a Sunday and this shop was still pumping out fresh coffee and donuts! The blueberry glazed donut holes are heavenly!! We got two drinks, made quickly and expertly. I highly recommend the toasted almond no sugar Flavor! The customer service was great. The person at the register was patient and helpful. They were very quick to wipe down the tables and chairs outside when I asked. I felt very safe and well taken care of. Would definitely return.

Sarai S.

Yelp
Used to go here every week to get my morning drink. The cashiers I get are usually nice, but not today . I have a prepaid order on the app for a medium latte with add ins I already paid for it. The lady at the window says I need to pay her an additional fee to have less ice for them to fill my drink up to the rim . I was wondering why she didn't just give me a large cup and fill it to where the medium size should be filled out but no she was insistent that I pay an additional fee even though I already paid on my app to pick up my drink through drive-through.. Pretty sure that's illegal since I already paid before hand.. is it really was an extra charge for ice how come the Dunkin' app didn't charge me in the first place ? hm So my seven dollar drink would come out to almost 9 dollars for a medium drink that's insane. pretty sure it was like a shift leader manager not sure why they're worried about a multi million dollar business. will not be coming here anymore . going to support local coffee shops from now on

Kurt C.

Yelp
I usually go multiple times a week but now I will not after being served spoiled milk , even told them and made me a new one and still got me sick awful experience won't be back Ever

Brandon A.

Yelp
Cross contamination. Please tell me why you use gloves if you're going to take cash then grab the donuts with that same glove??? Just what I want, an e-coli filled donut. Thanks Dunkin.

Jake M.

Yelp
Rude staff. I went through drive thru to order some coffee, I asked for some syrups in it, and the lady was really disrespectful and tried to rush us. Then, when we went up to the window, we waited about 10 minutes, and the lady asked to see our receipt number because they apparently lost our order. There was litterly only 1 car behind us, so I'm not sure how you could lose our order.

Chanel Y.

Yelp
So many options to choose from and everything is so delicious! I love that they're open late, and the employees are always so polite! I will go out of my way to get my blended mochas here :)

Latasha H.

Yelp
This new Dunkin' Donuts is located in El Cajon city. Right across the street from parkway plaza, in the same business plaza as Home Depot. My maple bar did not taste freshly made. Which was incredibly disappointing especially since I had been craving one all day. However the mini donuts holes, didn't disappoint. We ordered 25 mixed assortment. Location was very clean. Parking is extremely easy.

Angie H.

Yelp
Poor customer service. Donuts were hard and old. Do not recommend. Go support a pop and mom donut shop instead. Dunkin' is a bust.

Robert P.

Yelp
Funny story, drive all the way here on. Friday afternoon 12:10pm to be exact to find no donuts. They said sorry it's Veterans Day we are sold out! Wtf. I know it's Veterans Day, that's why I'm here. To buy donuts at the donut store. Not prepared at all.

Vanessa C.

Yelp
Yelp states the close at 10pm. It's 9:19pm 12/23/22 Very inconvenient. Heading to National City they close at 11pm.

Maritess C.

Yelp
We came here for a late afternoon snack. I had a free medium drink for my birthday. My daughter and I wanted to try the doughnuts here since I have never tried them. I got half a dozen doughnuts and my free medium pumpkin spice iced latte. I forgot to take photos of my 6 doughnuts. We were hungry and wanted to eat them. They come in various flavors. I only had one which was a glazed doughnut. I forgot the flavor. Doughnuts were okay. They were getting a little tough. Not moist. It was super sweet with the icing. I did however like my pumpkin spice iced latte. It's so delicious and tastes like pumpkin spice. I definitely enjoyed every sip. Although there was a little too much ice. The inside was clean. The employee was mopping up the floor while taking drive thru orders. That's what I call multitasking. Employees seemed friendly as they were taking orders. Located in El Cajon. This location was small and had parking up front. Definitely a nice clean location. Just wish the doughnuts stayed soft.

Ona R.

Yelp
There's something to be said about this donut place when you can get a double chocolate donut layered with smooth chocolate on top but still have a slight light outer crispy layer and the inside soft. That's what makes a donut for me!!! I've also tried their blueberry which I never thought I would be a fan of and that's a pretty darn good donut. The Boston cream is always a hit as well as the glazed which is a classic and the sour cream donut!!!!! I like the fact that they even sell some donut holes in packs of 6, 10 and 25. The coffee for me is always a hit is well. I like trying different things as you can get a swirl which is two different flavors mixed together. What I like even more is from 2 to 6pm is the two dollar medium latte or a cappuccino. Now that's a bargain and a great way to get customers to try a variety of flavors which obviously have is hooked and coming back. With a variety of selections you can get them either hot or iced. I like the inside decor as it was very spacious and I like the fact that they represented with El Cajon on the wall. The only negative is it was it really busy by the time I was there but the tables are not cleaned immediately. There was residue from someone's powdered doughnut but luckily for me I always carry hand sanitizer that I also like to use it to clean the table. Of the three tables I passed I pick the one that had less mess. It's not that was horrible but I kind a like to eat my food on a cleaner table. I've tried their breakfast stuff from other places not this one. I'm pretty sure it's all the same quality. And by Dunkin' Donuts being here it's definitely going to drive me this mall and this could be my new pitstop

Shane B.

Yelp
The best Dunkin' ever. I've traveled all over the globe this Dunkin' Rocked. My wife and I traveled in town to pick up our car shipped from overseas. They had every special donut and coffee that we both wanted. Thanks for your super friendly staff, to get us started and fueled on our long journey home.

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Americano is what you'd expect. No vegan options and obviously all the donuts are processed garbage. This location has some indoor and outdoor seating. No outlets for laptops outside. Inside I believe there are some. 1 bathroom.

Marissa E.

Yelp
Had a awful experience with a "assistant manager" named alyssa she sat in the back while the front of the store was busy and finally came to help, she ended up helping and making my drink incorrect, on top of this her hygiene was terrible how do u show up to work smelling like B.O, the other people in the front lobby were great as they were very busy

Robert E.

Yelp
I go here every now and then today I got an iced Carmel coffee. It was perfect and line moved quickly

Jack M.

Yelp
Okay Dunkin' Donuts, I am happy you are in East County, but you seriously have to do better than what I experience on my first visit. I had the Coffee Cake Muffin, I believe that's what it is called, and I asked them to warm it up. Also, the young nice lady at the register asked if I wanted to try a couple of chicken tenders for $2, and I said sure. I also had a black iced tea. I had a couple of issues, first of all both items were not properly heated. The coffee muffin was still cool in the center, which was not a huge deal, but still. However, what was a huge deal were the duo chicken tenders, they were way under cooked. It was strange because one side of the tenders were semi crispy and the other was soft and squashy, but to make matters worse, inside chicken meat was cold. Where these in the freezer? I had to send them back were they prepared me a couple more. They were better when the new batch came and properly heated. They were on the bland side and they need to serve some dipping sauces with them, like BBQ sauce, Ranch, blue cheese, or even a hot sauce. The staff members were friendly and welcoming. They are certainly trying hard to win one over, but it needs to match the quality of the product.

Marla K.

Yelp
Most of the Dunkin's in San Diego are always busy, but this location is in the same shopping center as Home Depot, so it definitely gets really crowded. I tried the new trendy 'Charli drink', and it was pretty good, but very sweet. I definitely prefer the ground coffee from Dunkin and brewing it at home. The everything stuffed mini bagels are delicious. It's a mini bagel round filled with cream cheese served warm. Also, order on the app it is way faster.

Robert P.

Yelp
The attendant said no more blueberry donuts. They are no longer being sold. Add to that to the German chocolate donuts were dropped previously. Those used to be my favorite at "Dunkin Donuts". We have had to say goodbye to so many good things with COVID. We have lost good restaurants and it cost a fortune to go on a drive or to go out and eat. It is sad to see Dunkin drop one of the good things that made them a go to place.

Isaiah G.

Yelp
Not only do you guys have great donuts but the coffee is magnificent. Awesome quick service with great attitudes.

Katie G.

Yelp
The manager Rc is an amazing guy .He tried to remedy the stale donuts that were served to me by replacing them and being the sweetest manager I've ever met . Profusely apologizing and telling me they are working out kinks and to please give them Another shot . And I intend to do so . I only had a half dozen donuts for 6.78 , or something around there . There were not a lot of donuts to choose from and the ones we had were stale . As stated before the manager replaced them the next day and those were a lot better , but still not good for that price. I will go back to try the drinks and maybe a sandwich. I hope Rc is right and they get better . He sure does intend to try .

Stacy P.

Yelp
I'm beyond disgusted by the donut I received from this Dunkin' location. It had hair ALL over it. It looked as if somebody had dropped it and proceeded to put it in my bag which is absolutely repulsive. They need to hire new employees or close this location permanently. In no way is this ever okay.

Molly S.

Yelp
The worst! Couldn't order the avocado bacon tomato sandwich on my app so I called the store...went to voicemail twice. Decided to go anyway got in the drive thru found out they don't have any avocado, stuck in a damn long line I can't get out of.

Mark U.

Yelp
My wife and I have been going to the El Cajon location for about a week due to their commercials. We've been 4 times and they have been great. The Carmel Chocolate cold brew is the best!! To top it off, went on Thursday (4/20/23) and so far everyone there has been very good, but Paris just lit up the place!! She was great and so was the coffee, breakfast tacos, chocolate croissant and donuts!!! I noticed several poor reviews, but they must have changed because we've been very pleased with everything! Paris just added to the experience, she was helpful, friendly and has a great smile!!!! Give them a try, my wife and I have no issues with this location, just great products, a clean atmosphere and very good people that work there too!

Joshua B.

Yelp
Inconsistent. I recently moved to the area and wanted to try them out. I saw their cold brew and was interested so I ordered it. It was great and the next time too. I go there probably 3-4 times a week and I am probably done with it. One time it will be great and the next it will taste awful. They treat it like it's everyone's first time and they are t going to know the difference. One time it will taste like cold brew the next I swear they put iced coffee in and I can only drink cold brew because of the acid. I also tried their refreshers and one day it will be fine and the next it will taste like water and the next it will taste like straight sugar. They won't tell you when they are out of something they will just replace it. Like on the refresher I get one pump of liquid cane and one day the decided they were out so they would just pile sugar at the bottom. I asked my friends and they said they just haven't had a good cup and I understand why. I have had some great ones and a lot of really bad ones. I have just given up with them. Oh and their donuts are not good but that's not the employees fault.

Sarah K.

Yelp
Considering how crowded the drive-thru was here (lets say 12 cars long), the line went by pretty quick which was great. The first time I had come here was back in March and the quality of the donuts was mediocre. I felt that the Bavarian cream (my usual order) was old and not as soft as usual. But the second time I came to this location (July), the donuts were fresh, nice, and soft. I also ordered the mini hash browns the second time I came here but was kinda disturbed because when I ate them they had a smoky flavor and I was not expecting that. It made me question whether the hash browns were cooked in sausage fat or something. Additionally I was not given any utensils to eat the hash browns. I get that they're bite sized but was I supposed to eat greasy hash browns with my fingers?? Cuz uhhh no thank you, I don't do greasy fingers while driving. Additionally I found it weird cuz the National City Dunkin asked if I wanted any sauces with my hash browns when I had gone there but this location didn't bother to ask at all. The coffee here has been good both times I have come so I can't complain about that. I would like for there to be more consistency in terms of the donuts being fresh here but I'm digging the speed of the service.

Hailey P.

Yelp
When I come here the workers are always SO rude. The workers never know what their talking about and always have a nasty attitude. The donuts are good when they aren't dry. Coffee is alright. Dunkin sucks. Starbucks all the way.
