Terrible. I ordered through the touch screen on counter, I paid and the order never got processed. I had to ask a young lady to check my order and it was as if I never even placed the order. I had my receipt on hand, the kind young lady was able to give me my order after checking the receipt which I do appreciate but check your computer systems if you have people place orders through a screen in the store. Otherwise bring back the humans to take the orders. Thank you

This place is short staffed and need some help. They do get orders out in a timely manner the best that they can just be patient. Iced coffee and donuts are on point. Their breakfast sandwiches are good too just be clear how you want everything prepared to not be disappointed.

Only have 2 people working. Waited 12 minutes while no one else was in line. Why would a donut shop in the middle of downtown have only 1 person working the front? Major attitude problems, too. Waiting long is bad enough and then it's that too? They are really angry here. And out of cookie dough coffee.

These guys were so busy this morning but short staffed. my food was a tad overcooked HOWEVER, my coffee was delicious! If you are in a super hurry, order ahead via the app! And don’t forget to tell them thank you! 😊 the guy with the beard was so patient, he repeated himself multiple times to please use the kiosk if paying with a card, bc customers do not listen nor give grace to fast food workers busting their tails to get them their orders. I would have def been irritated if I was him but he maintained a pleasant attitude and for that I will continue to come to this location. To fellow customers: please remember that we are all just trying to survive in this life!

This is an absolutely great location for Dunkin’ Donuts. The service and quality of food is A+. Obviously there’s no parking in this part of town. They do a good job of keeping it clean and safe from the homeless people.

The worst donuts easily by far. Stale dry and tastes like baking soda. Also, they say they have bags of coffee here on the app but they don't.

They put more technology on and lay off more workers. I hate that the screens are for dispatch, only one then I have questions and nobody helps me because there are not many staff.

I had the pleasure of trying the Frozen Matcha Latte at Dunkin' Donuts in downtown San Diego, and it was a delightful experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The dining area was clean. Food and drink were made fresh. No complaints here aside from wishing there was more parking or a dribe thru. I'll be back soon.

We came on a Saturday morning and it was slow but our orders took a while. I ordered their iced matcha latte with ube marshmallow and it was really good! Their $6 meal is a really good deal if you want a drink and food.

I have been here a few times but have never left a review. I stopped in today since it was national donut day. I havent been in here for a while and I was glad to see that they have more food options. I want to give a shoutout to the gentleman who was preparing the drink orders today. He had so many online orders on top of the customers inside and he was flying out those orders so quick. He had a good attitude at the same time, didnt seemed rushed or overwhelmed. Keep it up dude!

I normally don't review chains, but this Dunkin' is pretty top notch. I was walking around downtown San Diego and got caught in a vicious rainstorm. Dunkin' was right down the block so I ran inside to avoid getting soaked! Since it was chilly, I decided to order a small cappuccino. I placed my order through the Dunkin' app because I love earning points, and my coffee was made quickly by a very friendly employee! Dunkin' fans understand that their espresso can be hit or miss, but my cappuccino was extremely tasty. The foam was a bit thin, but the coffee tasted delicious and wasn't burned at all. She even made it properly with the sugar free coconut syrup, and my local Dunkin' always messes that up (most of the time they either put one pump in a large espresso or they leave it out altogether). This was sort of a gold standard cappuccino for the chain. The store was large and bustling, and they still had a lot of donuts left at 1:30 in the afternoon. I was tempted, but I didn't get a sweet. While it's a bigger store inside, most of the seating is outside -- which would be perfect with San Diego's climate, but certainly not during a rain shower. I hung out and enjoyed my piping hot cappuccino in their comfortable indoor dining room, which is a very welcoming space. They have lots of LGBTQ+ friendly signs hanging around, so when they say "everyone is welcome here," they mean it. What positive, happy vibes this Dunkin' gives out. It radiates kindness and inclusivity -- and their coffee is pretty good, too.

You all ought to be ashamed of yourself. How dare you send me five freaking donuts with nothing on them stay as hell some pink cold donuts, and some Christmas donuts. How dare you you guys need to shut that store down ASAP?

The food is delicious I ordered a sourdough sandwich and a bacon egg and sausage bagel. The donuts are freshly made and the coffee is done just right. There isn't something missing where the taste if off. The service is quick and professional which is the real reason I'm writing this up. The ambience is perfect it's quiet and gives off a peaceful vibe while the city is hustling and bustling outside the dunkin doors.

Dunkin Doughnuts has been one location that has the greatest creations of Doughnuts that are hot and fresh and the many Introductions of Hot Breakfast Sandwiches what can you have but a great hot morning coffee and the best in breakfast sandwiches. To have a great location at the Horton Plaza Circle the Broadway has so much History behind it to have good doughnuts and have wonderful doughnuts that you can share with your coworkers. Dunkin Doughnuts has been around since 1948 it was called the " Open Kettle " that Dunkin Doughnuts was founded in Quincy Massachusetts when you have such a great company that has been around for that many years and the way doughnuts have changed that Dunkin Doughnuts has the many great years of History and the many delicious creations that it makes and serves to the general public .

This Dunkin is the BEST! The service is always great and the food/coffee is consistently very good. This is also a very nice and updated Dunkin with a decent amount of seating indoors and outdoors. They have also been consistently pet friendly if you have a pup with you. I love coming here and I have never had a bad experience at this location!

This review is for the young lady seemingly working by herself on a super busy Saturday morning during San Diego comic con at the 6am opening. You kept your composure, you apologized for the delay (even though it was wildly unnecessary because I think we all understood you were doing your best) and you kept a smile throughout despite clearly being stressed out. Just wanted to say you did a fantastic job and I hope you are recognized for holding the fort during this time.

Huge shout out to the young man working behind the counter today around 1045 am. Amazing patience helping my young friend select their donut. Even bigger shout out for their commitment to cleanliness. At some point, the man sneezed he immediately said I will be right back and washed his hands up to his elbow. He also re gloved. I am very impressed with the food safety. I hope his manager sees this.

Of all the places to get donuts in SD, I would think Dunkin of all places would have their sh** together! Sold me old donuts! And I should've known better. Tbh, I had a gut feeling. This was my first time here, and my last! The entire experience just didn't seem right. Now, wtf do I do? I got these donuts for my team. They're gonna think I'm a terrible manager if I give them these donuts!!

Waited for 30 minutes and everyone got their orders and drinks before me. I ended up just leaving without anything, it was an absolute mess.

When you're in downtown in hopefully the last rounds of the COVID pandemic, the options are not as plentiful. Dunkin Donuts is an oasis in the bare landscape. You're taking about very good tasting coffee, mouth-watering donuts, and some good eats for breakfast too. Service was friendly and professional. I've been meaning to try out this Dunkin' Donuts location and I finally had the chance to stop by over the weekend while I was waiting for my friend who getting her eyebrows microbladed. I thought I'd come in for a pick-me-up. I saw on their menu that they had a special for Girl Scout Cookie flavored coffee drinks which looked pretty good. I ordered the Thin Mint Iced Cappuccino and a Bavarian Kreme Donut (Yes, that's how DD spells it-Kreme... some jerk messaged me on another DD review and tried to bully me for thinking I spelled cream wrong...smdh). Anywho, it turns out that they had a special that day and it was BOGO free donut so I was able to get one for my friend too which was cool. Service was kinda blah and quiet, when I first came in there wasn't anyone behind the counter and when someone did come out they don't say hi or anything like that.The girl who made my drink just placed it on the counter without saying anything. The drink flavor tasted ok however, even though I know it's a cappuccino the girl made my drink bone-dry aka all foam? I used to work at Starbucks back in the day and whenever someone orders a cappuccino you usually just top it off with a bit of foam, in this case it was like 100% foam. I thought it was kinda weird when I picked up my drink at the counter that it seemed to weigh super light? I would have said something but they employees didn't seem too friendly. The donut was ehh... I love Bavarian Kreme Donuts from DD but this one tasted a day old already? Maybe that's why it was BOGO free? Anyway, I'll still give them 3 Stars because I love Dunkin' Donuts and I'm happy they made their way out to California a few years ago and I do hope they continue opening more locations.

I was pregnant (and very hormonal) last time I visited this Dunkin'. I hadn't had caffeine in quite a while and was craving their iced latte. Place the order... seemed to take forever, but I figured maybe I was just being impatient. 10 minutes though? Come on. They weren't that busy... its a simple drink. I get the drink and it's literally just a cup of iced almond milk. Gross. I go back to the counter and nicely say, Excuse me...this doesn't have any espresso in it, can I please have another? The woman says sure. 5 min later..ANOTHER cup of iced milk. The cup is white. Doesn't even look like their regular latte. Wtf. I started crying (hormones) because I was really looking forward to this! Getting a refund seemed like a hassle, so I take it up one more time... um, still no espresso. They take my cup and add some. But it was still disgusting. Watered down milk with 1 shot. Lol... I could barf. The staff seemed to lack knowledge of how to do anything there. Other customers were complaining that their orders weren't correct, about wait times, cleanliness, etc. Apparently they were out of everything, too. This may be the worst Dunkin' of all time! I wanted to throw my drink at them, but had enough self control to just toss it in the trash where it belonged!

This Dunkin location continues to deliver quality products and service every time I go. It's a little closer to my job although few parking spaces due to it being right in the heart of downtown. The staff is top notch, friendly, helpful, always welcoming. They even have pumpkin coffee flavors into April

I'm really mad. I just got to work after stopping to get a hot tea with 6 sugars and cream. I get here and find that they didn't put ANY sugar or cream in my tea. And I can't go back. Not only that but it took them 10 minutes and there were only 4 customers and 4 people behind the counter just standing there.

Hey now, I am not one to turn down a Dunkin' Donut. This new location nestled on the bottom floor of the NBC building said to me when I walked by, "come on in!" And you know what? I did! In fact, I not only had a cinnamon roll, I think they call it a "coffee roll", but also their Black Forest ham, cheese, and eggs breakfast sandwich on an English Muffin bread. They were both very good. The coffee roll was soft and moist and not overly sweet. It had a mild cinnamon flavor and the light sugar glaze on top was just grand. The breakfast sandwich was very good too. The Black Forest ham was savory and tasty, the American cheese was melted, and the egg was cooked to an over hard and needed some seasoning. I had to ask for a little salt and pepper which they had. They offer a good selection of Dunkin's donuts. The staff members were friendly enough and quite expedient.

I walked in this morning at 6:15am and this young man was handling a fairly long line, making breakfast sandwiches, serving up coffees and being polite and professional and making small talk with the customers. I was fascinated with his pace and even taking the time to make sure each and every order was to the customer's liking. Where did they find this guy?? He's amazing! I even asked why he was doing everything alone and, without breaking stride, explained that his wingman comes in at 7am - and he said this with a smile! This guy puts you in a good mood for the day!

Who could resist a donut right? Well the name says donuts but you can actually get something else besides the sweet round dough. I love deals and who can resist a $2 latte after 2:00 p.m.? Well you guessed it... me! I ordered a toffee nut latte which very delicious. The cool thing about Dunkin is that they also have a morning special (actually all day)... Bacon Egg & Cheese, Sausage Egg & Cheese and Ham Egg & Cheese for only $2 when paired with any one of their drinks. I am pretty happy and the donuts are not bad either. I don't have a particular favorite so I just go with the flow of what ever in the flavor or the month or the day is good enough for me. This particular location is located near Horton Plaza so it's really easy to get to. Terryl is the one that made my drink and he knows his stuff. Friendly staff and it has a great location.

Good for a donut fix. Coffee? I ordered an iced coffee however it was terrible. Shots of vanilla requested and it was still bitter. Good luck with the transients in the area also.

Four stars for the cold brew coffee. It was strong and tasty. 2 stars for the glazed donut holes. They were kinda sad...they were deflated and stale. It tasted like day old donut that you left out and didn't cover.

Ordered online via the app, very easy and quick. We ordered the breakfast sausage croissant and it was delicious.

The service here is consistently poor. I ordered ahead this time, and even though there were few customers, the order took a long time. It was an ice coffee and donought...nothing complicated. The person at the register was on her phone and the back area just looks disorganized. I had the same experience last time I went to this location, so it seems to be the norm.

The people who work here go above and beyond to help. I spilled devil sauce on me and they provided me with wet paper towels. The food is great and so are the drinks. Get the app for maximal value. André is the man!

Being from the East Coast, Dunkin' Donuts was all I knew when it came to coffee. After moving to San Diego, I still can't get used to Starbucks! Fortunately, there are Dunkin' Donuts in downtown San Diego! DD not only offers robust coffee and a variety of flavors you can add, the prices are unbelievably low! Plus, the app offers a variety of deals and savings! You can even earn a free coffee for purchasing just a few cups! Amazing savings and even better coffee at Dunkin'!

I don't know why I keep coming back. 50/50 that my order will be correct. Extremely long wait times, even when using the App - and ordering 10mins away The service is either hit or miss. The atmosphere is chaotic - and a touch dirty. Overall the feeling is just disorganized - seems there are few people that know what they are doing.

Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut: Nothing but good vibes from this. No to overbearing with spice but you do feel the spice when it hits the back of your esophagus. The sweetness of the frosting balances this out perfectly. This is a great holiday treat or anytime donut.

Filthy! The floor was so sticky I should have walked out. Then they were out of croissants, then every where I looked there were non service dogs (unsanitary), then I noticed flies in the donut case. Why doesn't it have any doors on the donut case. Also, not one employee smiled once. They all looked completely miserable. So many things were wrong with this visit!

Dunkin Donuts is in a small shopping plaza so parking can be a problem! Seemed somewhat busy for this small branch but the lines move very quickly. The staff is very friendly and pleasant and always seem to get the orders completed quickly and correctly. Tried the Girl Scout Thin Mint Cappuccino-YUM! The coffee, donuts, muffins, sandwiches, etc. are consistently fresh and tasty at all DD's; but prompt friendly service is an added treat!

The ladies here are so sweet. There was no line and everything came out quickly. Way better than the National city and hillcrest location. Will be coming here from now on.

As an East Coaster, I grew up with Dunkin. Now as an adult, their coffee is my go-to whenever I am in the neighborhood. Their cold brew is the best around, in my opinion. This location, however, is inconsistent with its cold brew. On average, every third or fourth visit I have to this specific store has resulted in light and weak CB. When I bring this to the attention of the staff, they are typically very polite and apologetic. They do not (or perhaps cannot) remedy the problem, though. Having already paid, it is a hassle to request a refund. I do not like any of their other drinks, so I politely decline an even exchange. I usually accept the CB, which, when substandard is akin to iced coffee, and walk away disappointed. I have not had this experience at any other locations, though, so I am unsure whether this is an equipment malfunction or training error. Either way, there is room for improvement here. Donuts, however, are still on point!

Only 3 stars because service has never been great and seems to have gotten a bit worse. I stopped ordering coffee through the app because my request for almond milk instead of regular milk was ignored most of the time...not fun when you're lactose intolerant and at work...lol. I went in today (3/15/19) for a croissant and donut bites, got my donut bites right away but waited forever for my croissant...they forgot about it. They apologized but it was still annoying. Some other guy ordered a coffee and was waiting for it when I walked in and 3 people that came in after me got their coffee first. At least he got his coffee before I got my croissant.

The ham, egg 'n cheese sandwich comes with a rather heavy English muffin that is not toasted or buttered and the ham is not as good as the Canadian bacon McDonald's uses. Both could use a little sauce of some sort. I think whoever develops the perfect sauce (a condiment to enhance the product) will have a serious advantage, but no company appears to grasp that. There is always a McDonald's relatively closed to a Dunkin' Donuts (the reverse is definitely not true). Unless I want a donut I won't be back for breakfast, probably ever.

I'm so glad they finally opened another Dunkin Donuts in downtown San Diego. While the other location at Pacific Highway is just as good, the parking situation is a nightmare to get in and out very easily. At least at this spot near Horton Plaza, there's plenty more street parking and structures near by. I've been able to visit here several times over the last month or so and haven't had any issues with getting my orders quickly and correctly. Employees are friendly, talkative and do well making sure things move smoothly. This place offers plenty of seating outside and a clean interior inside. I usually stop by here for a quick coffee by ordering through their app, coffee is ready right when I walk in and I'm out without having to wait.

Came in today for some coffee and got amazing customer service. The two managers were so great. Everyone was nice but the managers were amazing. So lively and willing to help. Got the coffee and some donuts. Everything was fresh and all employees were following the covid guidlines. Will be back tomorrow!

I order pickup using the app, I frequently arrive to find something not available that I ordered. Sorry, but we are out of doughnuts. Sorry, we did not make your bagel because the toaster is broken. Sorry we underfilled your coffee because we are out of lids. Sorry, we are out of the breakfast sandwiches. And when these things are not available, there is no offer to refund the money I paid, no, I just get to pick something else or come back later. WTH. Every other place you can imagine handles this better. Start out with keeping the store stocked.

"Glazed" donut holes with zero glaze on them and completely stale!! Also had to go back because they forgot one of my donuts that they had charged me for...
