Our experience was better than earlier reviews state, so seems there's either been an improvement/training or the staff does much better when there's no line at the store. However, the coffee was so horrible, our low-star review stands. We did receive good customer service, though, and the sandwich we got was tasty.
With no one in front of us, we ordered more than we planned to: 2 donuts (vanilla iced with sprinkles), an egg and cheese sourdough sandwich, and a latte (no dunkacchino available :'(
Two donuts, the right ones, were quickly delivered by the same polite lady who rang us up. Donuts were fresh and tasty. So far so good.
Just a few minutes later, we received our sandwich and "latte..." Ohhh boy, that poor coffee. "Latte" was made with burnt American drip coffee, def not espresso. The oat milk poured was either too little, too cheap/thin or both. Almost $5 for a medium "latte" was a travesty. Wawa is gourmet coffee in comparison. I'm assuming if their latte is this bad, all other hot coffees also are, so never ordering coffee here again. Just go a bit further down Central (5 min or so) to The Blend Coffee and you'll have some of the best local coffee there is.
Our sourdough egg and cheese sandwich was very good, however. Came with 2 perfectly-cooked fried eggs, fresh and spongy (but w/ crispy corners!) sourdough bread, and good quality white cheddar cheese. Not sloppily put together either.
I wish I could have given this Dunkin more stars, but with the coffee served being so terrible, I just couldn't recommend or give more than 2 out of 5 stars. Customer service, the sandwich and donuts were good, but for the same price and service, you can eat an excellent variety of sandwiches (AND coffee!!) just down nearby Central Ave at either The Blend or Craft Kafe -- and with both being local, I rather support them than Dunkin.
