Annoying beyond words that they do not have parking for this stadium. All these cars blocking resident’s parking. And half of em the parents are just sitting in their car taking up a spot. Go around the block or have your kid walk a bit. A lot of them are blocking ramps and driveways too. Ridiculous. Every game day.

Manual Stadium is a cathedral of Kentucky high schools sports. No other venue can touch its history or prominence over the last nearly 100 years. Is it upgraded and modern? No, but that’s part of its charm. Manual Stadium offers spectators a chance to go back in time.

The baseball field has a Sandlot feel to it. It brings me back to the days of being a kid playing at the local park, the crunch of rock under foot. The smell of decaying leaves, the hint of wet sand baking in the sun.

Great School, the parents and the students are exceptional people. Definitely worth the drive and the time. The only bad thing is the location of Manuel Stadium. Couple of miles from the school off Eastern Parkway.
