Discover a cozy gem on Calle Ocho where fresh, artisanal pastries and welcoming vibes make Duran Bakehouse a must-visit for Miami food lovers.
"We’re skeptical of croissants and pastries that are too pretty. But if the bread creations from this Calle Ocho spot are as good as they look, we might have a new reason to flock to Little Havana in the mornings." - mariana trabanino
"Little Havana’s Duran Bakehouse makes croissants that, for the most part, look better than they taste. This is also the case with the croissant spin-offs they bake, like a “crownie” that’s too dense in the center. Or the beautiful, red-striped croissant whose strawberry flavor tastes artificial. The classic plain croissant, however, is excellent. They also have a few savory danishes we could easily have a dozen of, but that would cost about $70. So just come for one croissant and call it a day." - Mariana Trabanino
