Durian 36

I chose this shop as I cant find the street that has the row of shops with durian. After looking around looking at the freshness, I decided to take black thorn. Taste wise is not up to my expectation, price is a bit on the high side. Anyone just wanting for a bite, this place can be considered. If you have a real pallet for durian, then might need to scout around. Overall, this shop is ok for me and recommended. Coming from Malaysia, there are better options ofcourse 😅 happy hunting

Today I ordered durian online from Durian 36. This is the first time I bought durian from this vendor. I called the contact number to check what is good. Alvin recommended me to buy blackthorn MSW. I trust his advice and placed order. The durian is so fantastic and so fresh. I would like to thank Alvin for his honest advice and good fruit.

We came across Durian 36 at lorong 36 and sat down to eat the durian at SGD 25 per durian at buy 3 get 1. Pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality as good as Ah Seng. Hence we vacuum back some more durians home. 👍

Been patronising for a very long time because this seller is honest and always selects good durians. Never felt cheated. Hope to see more sellers like this — a great representation of the shop 👍😁 Very satisfied each time! 👏🏻

Our family of 10 came to try the Black Thorn Durian and Musang King. It was so sweet and delicious. Even with our large group they moved tables for us and we all sat down on the street and enjoyed our first night in Singapore from Sydney Australia

Durian nights hit different when shared with the right people. Delicious and yummy durians, thanks durian 36. We have MSW and it’s so creamy. Craving for durians again, and I just want to say the durians taste awesome. I just bought some back home. When put in fridge cold it taste even better.

Top notch Musang King and D24! Creamy, bitter and well balanced. Well sealed and delivered. Frequently have them instead of dinner :) too good However, quality dropped in more recent purchase with hard bits and seed was much bigger.

Me and my daughter was at Durian 36 on 29 November 2025. Were very happy with the services Friendly staff and over welcome owner Alvin. Will be back in the future if next time we in Singapore.

It was a huge bummer when we were in Singapore late April and found most of the durian stores closed due to off season time. Luckily we spoke with the taxi driver and he told us this place was open! They were very nice and honest and told us the Durians are all hybrids and not pure. The price is likely on the higher end but if you can't find durian anywhere - what can you do when you are crazy for durian?! We wanted to try the different types of durians so we got 3 large ones (see pictures!). We ate until our tummy said no more and vacuum packed the rest to go. The vacuum packing was free of charge and the packing was very good because you can not smell the durian at all! Honestly I didn't taste much of a difference between the 3 types of durians we got but they all tasted delicious! Super pungent like durian should be! Sadly in LA we can only get frozen durians that's edible! The fresh ones I have tried in LA were really bland and makes me wanna spit it back out! We ended up bring the left over back to LA! Warning: the package durian became overly pungent from the travel but still edible. I ended up using it to make durian ice cream which was just right after the dilution!

Fair durian prices, a little high for the area, but it's not bad. They cut the durian for you to eat there or take home. I ate it there. The attendant was super nice and chopped it for me. They have napkins at the table incase you need.
