"Durian 36 on 608 Geylang Road. At Durian 36, prices of mao shan wang durians from Johor was at $16 per kg at one point this month; it has now gone up to $22 per kg. Owner Alvin Teoh adds that the durian supply could have been reduced by the surge of customers over the past two weeks—his shop has seen 'good crowds'." - Kenneth Goh

A real gem & durian lovers paradise! Spectacular place! Great variety of durians, friendly staff, amazing local vibe, and other delicious fruits also available. Attended a Premium Durian Tasting event there and it was just a perfect spot. Don't miss this one when in Singapore.

I went to Durian 36 with my clients the first time after checking on google for some reputable durian stall and saw their reviews was quite good. My clients wanted one sweet and one bitter durian. So was recommended by their friendly staffs their old tree MSW and Blackgold and they was satisfied. Went back today again, while waiting for my turn saw the staff opening a durian and told the customer not good and asked to choose another one. So they are making effort to ensure the quality of the durian opened for consumption . Got myself a Blackgold durian after telling the staff I want bitter durians. Durian quality was great; Soft, thick and creamy flesh, bitter and mostly flat seeds. Mangosteens and coconut water is good too.

Friendly staff. There are various durian types but if you are not a fan you can buy other fruits as well. Parking is available on the side of the road as other people will park for a short time to get in to Fairprice too.

Yesterday, I purchased a watermelon for SGD20, only to find it was already soft and overripe inside when I cut it open just 30 minutes after buying. Additionally, I spent SGD46 on a box of durian, which I ate at the stall due to a strong craving. Unfortunately, it tasted terrible, and I couldn't finish the second piece. Given the poor quality, I didn't bother reporting the issue to the stall staff, assuming it would be futile. Overall, both purchases were disappointing and not worth the money and effort to go down.

Randomly drove to this store to satisfy my durian craving. When I was there after 10pm on a Friday night, the place was packed with people and there wasn’t empty seats. In my mind, thought that’s a good sign and proceeded to look around. They sell some of their durians by a fixed dollar a piece and the A fruits by weight. First time trying so didn’t want to risk it. Choose the $28 per piece MSW. But it wasn’t in a good shape but the server who attended to me did mention that there wasn’t much fruit inside. But I proceeded to choose it, and true enough, it only had 4 seeds. I do appreciate the server honesty to start with. The quality and the taste of the MSW was good, butter sweet with a strong alcoholic after taste. All in all, I felt that it’s just another typical durian seller. Prices were not cheap either as most people had mentioned. As buying durian can be very random and the quality of fruits is highly dependable on its suppliers, I would give it a three star which is slightly above average based on the taste of the durian that I had selected.

Their old tree MSW is the best. Been ordering through online during covid and coming down personally to their store to buy for many years. 包吃, staff very friendly to accommodate if you tried and dislike. They will vacuum seal if you cannot finish
