The 23 Best Restaurants In Providence - Providence - The Infatuation

"Come to Durk’s to kick back with a glass of the rotating house punch (likely made with whiskey or bourbon) and a damn good brisket sandwich loaded with fall-apart meat and charred jalapeños and onions. While barbecue is the main draw here, the pierogi are downright excellent: they’re plush and oniony, the dough has just the right amount of chew, and bits of smoked pastrami are scattered on top because, yes, they smoke meat here. They have sidewalk seating when it gets warm, so you can watch fancy folks strutting into Gracie’s as you dab barbecue sauce from your mouth and take another bite of your smoked meatloaf sandwich." - grace kelly

Hands down one of the best barbecued food I have tasted. The flavor is espectacular. The ribs, the pulled pork, the brisket, the chicken... everything was amazing. Their sides were great, too, especially the Mac and Cheese. Their drinks were pretty good, too, even though they were a little small. Their prices are "downtown" prices, if you know what I mean. I would go back for sure!

My friends and I had tickets to go see a show at Trinity Rep for 6pm on Father's Day. We had reservations for 4 pm at Durks. The restaurant was pretty busy even at 4 on a Sunday. I sat at the bar waiting for my friend. The bartender was nice, but clearly going on break, shift change or something. I asked about a cider from NY. Out she said. I asked for Gansett. Out she said. I ordered a cream soda instead. It was very smooth and the vanilla note was strong. The bartender left me and one of my friend. We tried to pay, but the guy at the bar now just said he would switch it to our table. Our party was seated. We were able to chat. There were two tvs playing sports (30 30 and one with a game review on). Lots of water is available. We had a glass pitcher available. The silverware is in a metal container. I ordered 1/4 brisket for $12 which came with homemade pickles and a potato roll, I added a side of Mac and cheese for $4. Everything was very nice. Their house BBQ sauce was nice and mild. The pickles also had pickled onions served with them. (A). The brisket had a great smokey flavor. My friend had a Dr. Pepper. The entree was pulled pork with an added side of French fries (Their rating was a B+). This was definitely a nice BBQ joint.

Slept like a baby after eating the pulled pork sandwich, mac n cheese, n cornbread. Reasonably priced and tasted great. I even got banana pudding to go!

I have eaten here a lot over the last 4-5 years and have always enjoyed the food. I often get takeout and take advantage of their half off sandwiches and starters on Wednesdays and Thursdays. That being said it’s always extremely quiet here at lunch time and today was weird. The host was sitting at the bar with the bartender and there was one server managing two tables. I had ordered take out online and showed up after my pick up time. When I got there they said there was an issue with the ticketing machine and that they had just fired my order now that i had arrived. This would normally not be an issue but it just seemed like the employees were sitting around instead of working and that’s why the ticket for my order wasn’t seen. After they fired my order, the host went back and sat at the bar again. I’ve worked at restaurants before and this would never fly. The food came out 10 mins after and it was good as usual, but it would have been nice to offer to comp part of the order or throw in some extra food to make up for my time spent waiting/their mistake.

Loved this place. Plan to go back for lunch (before we leave Providence) so that we can try the things we missed tonight. The smoked tomato sliders (missing one in pic) and brussel sprouts were amazing as were the cornbread, pulled pork and brisket. The portions were perfect and the flavours, spot on. We’ve seen other not-so-complimentary reviews but none applied to the meal we had this evening.

Went to this location couple of weeks ago and based on the reviews I was expecting a lot more. Let’s start with the good points. The service was excellent, very fast and eager to help out. On the day we visited there was a promotion to get the appetizers half price. Also there was a great variety of beers. We got a half tray of nachos, one corn dog, ribs and mac and cheese. The nachos were very tasty and worth to try. While the corn dog and the mac and cheese were also very tasty, you could taste that this was a pre-made meal you buy from the market and you heat up. But the biggest disappointment was the ribs. I was not expecting ribs like the ones in Texas, but this was even hard to chew. Just look at the picture I took and you can understand that this was either overcooked or cooked days in advance. On top of that, the toilets were very sticky ( like you are on a club or something ) and the place was not busy so I am sure someone could easily clean them in no time. Honestly not a great experience.

Google
The food is just spectacular. Cleaned up epicure BBQ that hits all the high notes minus the heavy cheap greasiness that can drag BBQ into ow my belly territory. The ribs are simply sublime, the pulled pork simple & spectacular with delightful soft bun. Seating is meh - hard wood benches and chairs - the service satisfactory, but come and stay for the meats!

Google
In my never ending quest for BBQ, it was Durk’s for tonight. Voted “Best in RI” 🏆 was definitely an incentive to go and try it out. Not sure who voted Durks as best, but hey, anyone can have a bad night. Walked in to the middle of Saturday night service and saw max 10-12 people sitting…. Should have seen that as a warning ⛔️ FYI, all wine selections come in cans…micro beer choices are okay at best. Also, this place has a heavy selection of whiskeys, but what if you just want a cold Narragansett with a meal? Ordered a sangria….got what tasted like a sweet whiskey 🥃 punch 👎 Wanted to try a little bit of everything since it was my first time there…. The food was somewhat disappointing at best ….. Wings were overcooked/ charred/ no flavor. Brisket Chili was probably the best thing ordered Meatloaf Sandwich tasted just like a burger The Pork Ribs had a great smoke ring and although cooked perfectly, lacked any flavor. The Beans and Mac n Cheese also were both plain and had little to no flavor. I guess I just expected more….. Very little value for the cost. Kept thinking of where else to go tonight and leaving as quickly as possible. Not recommended for several reasons. Plenty of other great places to eat BBQ in Providence…..those 10 patrons on a Saturday night spoke volumes to me without uttering a single word. 👎👎

Yelp
I had another good meal at Durk's. They still have their Thursday special where all appetizer are 50% off and from 4-7pm, you get double the points on their Rewards program. I got their chopped salad and their chicken wings. The salad was really good, the ingredients tasted fresh and the dressing, which I got on the side was very flavorful. The chicken wings were meaty and tasty..with a tangy spicy mustard sauce on the side. Overall a great meal and excellent service from my server.

Yelp
I have heard great things about Durk's over the years and unfortunately this experience just didn't do it for me. I came in around 8PM on a Saturday night and everyone in the restaurant was waiting for food. We were sat and shortly after someone asked us about a drink order, but it took a while for the server to come back and ask us about meals. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, slice of cornbread and two sides of mac and cheese. The pulled pork was fine but was not very seasoned and the house BBQ sauce was more vinegary than anything else. The brisket sandwich was also decent. I do have to say that the amount of meat on the bun was excellent, but the BBQ sauce kind of ruined that for us. The Mac & Cheese was good, but cold. The corn bread was something I'd be interested in having again. For people who haven't had much BBQ I can see why it would be well-liked, but for my first "official" BBQ experience in RI it left a lot to be desired.

Yelp
Really good place for ribs. I noticed this restaurant on a walk in Providence. For lunch hours, this place was empty on a Sunday. Plenty of seating and prompt seating service. We got seats at the open windows side, give us great fresh air. Server was good at explaining size portions and recommendations on what to order in order to get a bit of everything. Ordered the half stack ribs, chicken, cheese filled sausage, corn cob, and brisket. The brisket was juice and soft. My favorite part was the ribs! They are on the drier side, with more lean on the bone, which made meal great! I preferred it this way, especially since the seasoning was so good! I'd get these again! The chicken was also on the dry side, but again, the seasoning was so good and every bit had good flavor. Platters came with sweet buns to contrast the savory meats. Fries were crispy and crunchy, just how I like them. I need to come back for these ribs which were my favorite!

Yelp
Rating: 4.3 Came to try the place for lunch on a weekend. Parking is street only. The place was pretty empty when we got there. Pretty big space on the alley in providence. The place offers BBQ, sandwiches, some interesting appetizers and alcoholic/non alcoholic drinks. We ordered Brisket, ribs, cheddar sausage, and chicken leg with side of mac and cheese, corn dog and fries. Some things were pretty standard others were more notable. Most of the side dishes were pretty standard including corn dog, mac and cheese, fries, bread and pickles. The meats were pretty good overall. Cheddar Jalapeño sausage was cheesy with a hint of spice and savory. Ribs were seasoned and spiced very well and were flavorful without BBQ sauce. Less fatty and saucy than most I've had but I preferred it that way. The chicken was also seasoned and spiced well. Flavorful and moist. The brisket was ok. A but fatty and not a lot of seasoning so needed some BBQ sauce. The service was good and the staff was attentive besides the part we awkwardly waited a bit before they noticed we were here to be seated since everyone was watching T.V. Overall I did like the place and it's a good BBQ option in RI. Only thing is that the parking may be difficult to find as it's located in downtown providence and that the price can be a bit high. I would come back for their ribs, sausage and chicken.

Yelp
Realllllly tasty Q! I ordered a half pound of brisket and it was the best brisket I've ever had and with a wonderful accompanying sauce. However, I took a star off because the second piece was so fatty that I threw it out. That first 1/4 pound was GOLD though. Service was friendly and very efficient. Ambiance was much nicer than your average BBQ place...at least the ones I've visited in MA! I'd come here again when visiting Providence. If you're a big BBQ fan, you should try it too.

Yelp
I loved them on Thayer and I love them on Aborn. And let me say, this place is so consistent in hiring the best bartenders. They are knowledgeable, friendly and personable. I had the Chilton. My daughter ordered the punch of the day. We were both loved them. Alex, the bartender, is truly good. He and my daughter got into a discussion about whiskeys. He showcased various bottles and gave a history on them. But the ribs I ordered were the showstopper. We had ordered to go but got so engrossed with our knowledgeable bartender, we ate half the meal there

Yelp
UPDATE: I've also tried the brisket nachos and the smoked wings (1/2 off on Thursdays). The wings were delicious and I would definitely go back for them. I had them plain with bleu cheese and white BBQ sauce on the side- It was my first time trying white BBQ so I didn't know what to expect (to me it is something between ranch and caesar tasting- pretty good)! The nachos were good but probably not the smartest choice for takeout- I knew that going in and still enjoyed them. Again- LOVE LOVE LOVE their burger and I dig their wings- can't wait to try other menu items- maybe ALL of their appetizers if I can get enough friends to go one night, haha!

Yelp
Sweet Moses, this place is good. Even after living in Texas, I would still say this is my favorite barbecue place. (Note: I am not *from* Texas, nor do I actually like barbecue generally, so...take that however you will.) I hadn't been here in a couple of years, but I surprised my husband with lunch at Durk's for his birthday, and he LOVED it (he, unlike me, actually likes bbq and said it surpassed several places in Dallas). He got sliced brisket and jalapeño cheddar stuffed sausage that I stole half of. Also kale and cornbread. I had the pulled brisket sandwich and completely annihilated it. We also had our 11 month old with us, and they were super accommodating and helpful, which I appreciated. All I can say is that anyone who can make me want to return for barbecue is best in its class, and that is Durk's! Ten stars.

Yelp
Food: Very tasty food! We had the chicken leg with white barbecue and the ribs-- both were fantastic. The fries were also super crispy. We are excited to try more of their dishes. Service: very quick and friendly service ! Ambience: great bar for a chill night or for watching sports with friends.

Yelp
The food was awesome. I was skeptical before arriving as BBQ can be very hit or miss but Durk's nailed it. The food doesn't look massive but it is rich & filling. The menu is simple, as it should be. Their homemade bbq sauce was also addicting & I found myself adding it to everything. The service while sitting at bar was excellent & quick. The inside of the place is more modern & clean than I've seen at other BBQ restraints but the Whiskey Wall was really cool with plenty of different options to choose from. I look forward to going back & trying the few menu items I didn't try the first time.

Ally W.

Yelp
My husband and I ordered takeout. First important to note is that there is nowhere to park. You will have to find street parking likely a few blocks away or pay to park in a lot which was $25 when I went. We got brisket and chicken and added sides of potato salad, coleslaw, beans & mac & cheese. Everything is very strongly vinegar based. I love vinegar and there were a few items that were hard to eat. The chicken was so overcooked and dry, they did achieve a crispy skin, but unfortunately the meat itself was also pretty crispy and dry. The portions were also fairly low for how much we spent, though we did just move here, so it could be standard for the area.

Yelp
Okay, I get it now. The rumors are true: This place is unbelievably good. Drinks: The bartender was wicked friendly & talented. I ordered the "Chilton" cocktail which is a very out-of-character drink for me, but I'm SO glad I did. Grapefruit vodka, house-made grapefruit cordial, lemon, soda, & a salt rim. I asked for extra salt & she delivered. I think I drank my first drink in 5 seconds flat, because it was that good. I ordered another, of course. My partner had the "Old Fashioned On Draft" - Yes that's right. On draft. I snuck a sip & it was pretty good. *Very* good for $10. Food: Oh my god? Phenomenal. We had the wood grilled shishito peppers to start. They came with bbq mayo dip that paired perfectly. Off to a great start. For the main event, we went with brisket, pork belly, wood grilled wings (sweet & spicy mustard style), & potato salad. We ate mostly in silence because of how good it all was. Bonus points for passing the gluten-free test. Even more bonus points for passing the microwaved-leftovers-the-next-day test. Somehow the pork belly (which might be the best pork belly I've ever had in my life) was even better the next day. Thank you, Durk's, for blowing my mind. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Amazing BBQ. Every thing was so Good. Service and food. Out first time to Providence, Rhode Island and had to try. Thank you TikTok!!!

Yelp
unacceptable for it to take 40 minutes for our order of half rack of ribs to come out, especially when people who came in after us got their food before us. waitress didn't check back with us until 25 minutes afterward; pretty clear she forgot to put the order in. a manager type brought the food out, offered no apology and didn't acknowledge my comment about the lateness of the food. this was my second visit, and there won't be another. good thing there are plenty of other places to eat in downtown if you want a meal before a P-Bruins game.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
Wanted to like this place - the spicy chicken sausage was legit good, and the creamy coleslaw (it's the only kind) was rich yet simple and tasty. However the pork ribs were kind of dry, and service, despite a mostly empty restaurant, was a bit erratic. Unsure if they were understaffed or lunch was just the wrong time to show up? With an arrival just before noon, I had originally ordered the barbecue pork belly too, only to be told they wouldn't have any for another 30 minutes, so maybe just too early?

William F.

Yelp
Ordered Brisket Nachos for an appetizer served ice cold and tasteless, ordered 1/2 rack of ribs and Mac and cheese also stone cold and flavorless worst Bbq EVER, everyone at the table had a awful experience, informed the server about the appetizers being cold and it was removed from our bill , but other than that , nothing would ever make me believe that the establishment was rated the best BBQ in Rhode Island!!! Never again man bad experience
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
Holy smoked meat! What's up Durks??? One of our fav spots in PVD let us down, big. A quiet Wed night and we waited almost an hour for our food. Spoiler alert, it never came . Crabby manager finally told us "NOW they're starting your order". Surly service, non existent food, sad once-loyal diners. You broke our bbq lovin hearts. Btw, Malted Barley is quite nice
google avatar

Jon B.

Yelp
Was craving BBQ so I waltzed into Durk's which seemed to be the local joint in town. Service is very friendly with a casual vibe. The menu is small which is a good thing in my mind . I went with beer , ribs and brisket ( greens as my side ) . Food was quite good and the sauce was as well . A good choice next time you visit providence !
google avatar

Yelp
We Enjoyed Durk's takeout for the 4th of July with family. My dad had his first Durk's experience at a party just days before and HAD to order it for us. Food is delicious and very generous portions, with all the extras of chaffing dishes, serving spoons, a lot of their bbq sauce and salad dressing. Easy pick up for takeout and very helpful staff.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, really nice people. And the food for what you pay is an exceptional value. Do come and eat here.
google avatar

Hasan K.

Yelp
We come here regularly, this time with three friends visiting from England. We like the vibe of this place and its appropriate wooden design. We started with shishito peppers, smoked mushrooms and Brussels sprouts which were very tasty indeed. We shared a number of different dishes: two half lbs of Brisket, three portions of cornbread, beans, and for the first time for us the Jalapeño cheddar sausage and smoked chicken leg - the last two were a revelation. For drinks various beers - two tilted barn dark lager, witbier, two 'slow joy' Pilsners and something called a pink Friday - pronounced good. Our server Elias was lively and attentive and looked after us well. We ate to our full and enjoyed it. The check came to $190 and well worth it. We will keep coming back when we are in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
The BBQ was great! The sausage is bomb. Great drinks and a good attentive and friendly staff.
google avatar

Yelp
We came here to grab lunch during one of the open air Saturdays in Providence. The restaurant was not too crowded. There is seating outside and inside. We started with the house punch and Downeast peach bellini. This was my first time trying Downeast and I really enjoyed it. We ordered 1/2lb brisket, coffee cured pork belly, Mac & cheese, and potato salad. Everything tasted very good. We did add Durk's BBQ sauce to the meats. The staff were very friendly and definitely recommend if you are craving bbq meats.
google avatar

Karen V.

Yelp
I promise my customers, barbecue and I wanted a place close to their office. Durks had weight reviews so we decided to try it. Everyone enjoyed their meal immensely. The menu is not that large but everything on it is absolutely delicious. We ate so much. We didn't save room for dessert. Pulled pork was excellent. Cornbread and kale. Super delicious it was raining and I got there early so the staff let me in no problem they were happy to accommodate all of our needs, the vibe is a little picnic but still upscale and clean. Totally enjoyed eating here you will too.
google avatar

Mishka O.

Yelp
Unimpressive. Location is not super welcoming, across from parking and garage. Industrial vibe, I guess. Portions are small. Felt uncomfortable paying $7 for side dish or cornbread.
google avatar

Frankie G.

Yelp
The food was terrible and save your time. The service was terrible and to top it off the manager (Lindsey) had an attitude from the time we got there until we left. We was there with Foreign dignitaries from several countries that all received the same treatment. It was good to chat with the people I came with but if a manager gives a treatment like this and accompanies other people differently makes a person feel very discriminated against.
google avatar

Oscar G.

Yelp
After my second visit to Durk's, I can share that I enjoyed this BBQ joint. Their bourbon list is one of the best that I've seen. I had the pulled pork sandwich the last visit, but tried the sliced brisket this time. It was a more fatty than I would desire. However, the chicken sausage was as good the second time as it was the first. The wait staff was very attentive to my needs. I stayed in longer than expected just listening to the Spotify playlist, and it was a vibe.

Anna L.

Yelp
There were 6 of us one was a 2 yr old and they counted her as the 6th person so because of that they did the gratuity It was 31 dollars the bill was 187.00 I don't agree that they counted a 2 yr old as #6

Thadeus M.

Yelp
Couldn't even get to the food! Brought our grandson for dinner and put our order in. It was a relatively slow evening at 5:45. We inquired a few times about the order and were told it will come out shortly. After 45 minutes we asked again and were told this time the order was just about to go in. To top it off the manager was quite rude and arrogant. Stay away from here. Many other friendly BBQ locations in the area!

Yelp
This place was voted number one BBQ in Rhode Island. Not due to its horrible lack of service. Grabbing a bar seat at 1:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon, or any seat for that matter, might come with some customer service. Not here. Four customers in the entire building, and between the two employees up front, they still couldn't figure out how to wait on the customers. I had the BBQ ribs, they were actually quite delicious. Season just right. Ribs had that Carolina vinegar flavor. Atmosphere was a step up from your typical BBQ joint. I felt like they were going for that posh appeal. I'd like to give a five star review, but I just can't with the lack of customer service.

Maryann D.

Yelp
Was there for a private event and look forward to going back for an off the menu meal. The barbecue is sone of the best I've had anywhere. Brisket is tender and juicy bursts with flavor. All the meats were spectacular. I never eat greens and could not get enough of the braised kale. The bar staff obviously take pride in their work and everything is done with fresh ingredients and a great deal of attention. On top of the great food and drinks, the staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is casual and fun. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Came to try out Durk's for lunch and had a half pound of brisket ($22). It was fine but BBQ snobs would sneer. The crust looked great but didn't actually taste like anything. Brisket itself was tough and dry. I hoped some sauce would save it but it was watery and too tangy for my taste. Partially scratched the BBQ itch but definitely left me wanting more. Still may be the best in PVD, but I recently had some good brisket and it was night and day. Can't speak to the service in general but the bartender was cool and I liked the casual atmosphere.
google avatar

Scott M.

Yelp
The food here isn't that great. Actually I would say the brisket is better at Wholefoods or Buckys gas stations. The Shishito peppers were nice with the barbecue mayonnaise. The Mac n cheese is quite sloppy and very overcooked where the pasta is way too soft. The beer selection isn't bad, but there are no IPAs on draft greater than 6% , nor are there any red wine selections.

Trav H.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Anytime we're craving good BBQ, Durks is our number 1 choice! We love this place! Cocktails are also awesome! We visit every couple of months and it always delivers!
google avatar

Brandi R.

Yelp
Ambience and service were good! But to state the is TX BBQ was over stepping a bit. True the meat wasn't sauced but that was about the only TX thing. The brisket had decent flavor but was dry. The sides were okay but nothing I would order again. We had Brisket and Pork Belly, sides Mac N Cheese and Slaw. Vinegar based sauce was another clue to it not being TX style.

Eve F.

Yelp
If you are looking for great bbq food in providence this definitely the best. The atmosphere was so comfortable; the service was on top of everything, we went with a large party and it all went so smoothly!
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, food was mediocre. If you like whisky, you might want to check out their huge selection. I really wanted to like it here but won't be back.

Yelp
Have eaten here several times usually before Trinity Rep. location to the theater is great. The food was good. It was typical bar.b.q. I was good but not fantastic. The restaurant was nicely decorated. The service staff were very attentive. Maybe I was a little too critical on the food. My wife thought her meal was great
google avatar

Megan S.

Yelp
Durks is an absolute gem! I swear, everything on their menu is delicious and you cannot go wrong with anything. My personal favs are the pulled pork sandwich, BBQ chicken wings, corn bread, mac and cheese, and the dirt pudding. Great atmosphere. Great food. Would definitely recommend you check this place out!

Lori R.

Yelp
Amazing BBQ joint!!! Clean (especially the RR) HUGE PLUS!!!! This little joint on a side street ROCKS!!! Great staff, clean and DELICIOUS with incredibly reasonable prices. As a Texan I HIGHLY recommend the food. Cold beer and again AMAZINGLY CLEAN and inviting Staff is pretty AMAZING TOO!!!

Gracie Lou F.

Yelp
Service is terrible. And the food is way over priced for what you're getting. It's unfortunate there aren't more BBQ options around.
google avatar

Morgan F.

Yelp
Durks was a fun place to go. The food was very good, the pulled pork, brisket, and coleslaw especially. The food and drinks took quite a long time to come out for such a causal restaurant. Overall a nice place.

Ian B.

Yelp
Swung by Durk's on a Sunday afternoon around 5pm. My wife and I were able to be seated right away, and we decided to sit indoors. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, and our server, Erin, was fantastic. For drinks I got the Peach Perfect and my wife had the punch of the day (rum, Passionfruit, etc.). Both drinks were great. For food I had the sliced brisket and poblano cheddar sausage. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich, and we split corn bread and Mac n cheese. The food was all great, and the brisket was some of the best I've had outside of Texas. We'd definitely return.

Yelp
The wings were sooo good! Beautiful smoky and yet delicate flavor! The entrees were okay, but I think wings win it all

Yelp
Attended a meeting and decided to stop at Durk's for lunch with a party 12. We were greeted and seated together however, we were served room temperature water to start. As the waiter took orders he seemed slightly agitated. With 10 customers present waited over 40 minutes before we mentioned the delay of food delivery. Not sure if the other employee was a waiter or management however, he displayed frustration and irritation when he delivered, collected and returned change to us. We ended up taking our food to go. Terrible customer service but the food was very good.

Yelp
We wanted something to snack on with outdoor seats. That's how we ended at Durk's Bar.B.Q. Their homemade lemonade is delicious! The smoked mushrooms were like eating BBQ without eating meat... Super smokey and full of delicious flavors. It paired really well with the mac & cheese that were also delicious. The patio was super cute and the staff was extremely friendly.

Yelp
I love Durk's! I have it at least once a fall. I don't live that close or it would probably be more. Their food is very tasty- great for catering harvest parties. I prefer the ribs and brisket myself but everything is tasty. It is on the heavier side so pace yourself but a great BBQ that RI desperately needs!

Yelp
Food was absolutely disgusting. Spanish people should not eat here. Especially if you use saźon like some adobo.

Yelp
Barbecue isn't exactly a Rhode Island tradition. In fact, the search for a good smoke ring is pretty much a treasure hunt around here. A half a pound of Durk's sliced Brisket is a pretty good prize. Not as fine a prize as the pierogies, those hammy cheesy bonbons are mana from heaven, but I've learned not to look a gift horse in the mouth. $20 pours of Parker's Heavy Char are a Smokey sweet treat as well. B+ prizes for everyone.
