Dutch Bros Coffee

This is the very first Dutch Bros location so it was a must see for me being a big Dutch Bros fan. I noticed they offer soft serve ice cream at this location only so I was excited to see what that was all about. Upon entering the store, I was warmly greeted by two very friendly broistas. There were quite a few people inside but there was no wait. I went to order my normal drink and she highly recommended I try the ice cream since you can only get it at this location. *Twists my arm* 🤣 I immediately ordered it without hesitation and she even offered several options for me to add to the ice cream. All I can say is if you ever get the chance to come to this location, GET THE ICE CREAM! It was absolutely delicious and had the best flavor ever. I'd be in serious trouble if I lived in Grants Pass because I'd be coming here all the time! This is a must see location with awesome broistas and a very chill and fun vibe! Don't miss out!

Big DB fan here. There is something for everyone, even the littles. Smoothies, hot chocolate, lemonades, teas, energy drinks, hot coffee, cold coffee, blended coffee, espresso, chocolate milk, and the muffin tops are excellent. I was so excited to stop by here since learning there was DutchBros ice cream. The broista was absolutely phenomenal. She didn't judge me for fanning out at all, she made an excellent drink, and was super kind💙 I got a double torture blended freeze with salted caramel, the smallest ice cream as it was 6am, and a bag of their premium coffee beans. I am so excited to brew some DB at home. The ambiance is incredible. For a fan as big as myself it is absolutely magical.

What a treat to take a Sunday drive from the Medford area over to Grants Pass for the lush, green mountains and sweet delicious coffee, ice cream. The creamy ice cream base and coffee shots mixed in is a light delicious treat for anyone looking for something unique. It is a pretty penny to pay, but worth savoring every bite for such a local coffee taste.

Very unfortunate for me (takes a few hours to drive there), that this is the only Dutch Bros facility that sells coffee ice cream. But it is very good! I wish they would expand ice cream to at least their 24 hour stands, or even all of there facilities that have inside seating

This is the first brick and mortar Dutch Bros that I've ever seen. Much better than those drive through shacks! This is a beautiful place! Cozy... nice! Love the coffee, love the chai tea. Sad though that the menu is small and unclear on a monitor behind the counter. We can't see what we want until it's our turn to order and then struggle to navigate through the options. This is clearly a place for people who already know what to order. Also the youngsters behind the counter seem to love yelling at each other about their personal adventures. I couldn't hear my wife ask me things about the menu because of their shouting. I wish they had a menu posted outside or at least in more places inside so that we (and others) can make a selection without holding everyone up and needing to stress.

My wife and I had the pleasure of picking up our Rebels from the this Dutch Bros location, the ambience was cozy and the hostess/barista was so friendly. She made my wife’s drink perfectly and was so welcoming.

This group of employees has taken such good care of me for 2 years I've been facing horrible grief and I have a support group and every Sunday they're here to support us we love and love them love them

The staff here are super friendly and will help you find a good fit on the menu if you're unsure what to order. As a non-coffee drinker I appreciate that they have plenty of other drink options. I like the Ninja if you like mint.

I love EVERYTHING Dutch. I'm doing low carb no sugar right now and my go to is the medium iced golden eagle with sugar free syrup.

really cool to see the inside of a dutch. my partner has worked at dutch for years and she wanted to see the original. we were both very happy!! drinks were good, service was pretty good but it was slow inside!!

Had to stop in and check out this shop before my long drive back to Cali. It was trendy filled with lots of modern decor, this is not a drive through like the others Dutch Bros. Tried the Blended Vampire Slayer Rebel and the Electric Berry Rebel for the first time. It was perfect not too sweet either, this is my new go to drink for now on.

We're just obsessed w/ Dutch Bros & we were j. Hopes of finding the original location while in Oregon & check out the headquarters & were quite disappointed when we were unable to locate it and even asked multiple locations & no one was ever able to say where it was hence the 2 star rating..

Rudest girl ever. Wanted to seriously cry after ordering for her. Drinks were decent. It was my first time going to Dutch Bros and probably not going back because she was so terrible to us.

Are these paid reviews?!? Family members? Friends? People without taste buds? Several attempts with different D.B. coffee drinks, and different Dutch Bros. locations have all yielded the same experience: Exceptional customer service. Inordinately horrible tasting beverages. The coffee is worse than flavorless...it has a bitter, nasty, chemical flavor, no matter what type of drink. I've tried their lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, macchiatos, some kind of flavored caramel thing, mocha...However, even the cloyingly sweetness of it, couldn't mask the coffee bitterness underneath. I've discovered better cup of Joes just around the corner.

Surprisingly good coffee with an original selection of coffees and specialty drinks in a drive thru only format. My wife and I had cappuccinos and found them to be smooth and delicious. A great first experience thanks to the REALLY friendly service. Sometimes, the service you receive can exceed the product you're being served and that was the case here. Will definitely hit their other locations while visiting the area.

The best coffee with the best service! I am hooked on hot kicker. I am a serious coffee drinker so the fancy cold drinks are not for me. If you want to have a real cup of coffee , go for Americano. I am so blessed to be living at Grants Pass, the home of Dutch Bros.

Super friendly staff! My son and his wife wanted to come here because they love Dutch Brothers. I don't drink coffee and asked if they had black iced tea. I was told that they definitely had black iced tea and ordered one. The tea I received was a flavored tea that did not taste good at all. The color was also very light. My son and his wife enjoyed their drinks, but I did not. I would not go back and order tea. Just a FYI...black tea is just tea...not a flavored tea or whatever it is that you guys are serving. Definitely not just a black tea. Yuck. So disappointed. :(

What a great experience! The young people working here are truly excited about their jobs and the opportunity to serve you! We are from Tennessee and have been driving up the coast from LA headed to Portland and stopped by to get our morning coffee! Free!!! Since it was our first visit with Dutch Bros Coffee! Friendly, fun and yes.... The coffee was great!

Well, yelpers are telling the truth! Staff are indeed awesome! They are so helpful and does not make ordering complicated for first timers. They gave us "on us" coffee and in return, I gave $ tip and a smile that deserves their excellent customer service! Coffee tastes good! And cheaper than starbucks. Cocomo was the best for me. There will definitely be a next time!!!

My favorite coffee place!! They get my drink almost correct every time, even though I order right off their menu lol. Which I find funny when it's made wrong. But it's delicious coffee about 95% of the time.

Everybody loves Dutch bros here in town. Their coffee and their drinks are always amazing if you don't like it you can always ask them to make you another one they're very helpful and friendly. They're always helping around grants Pass donating their time. They help with the high school they gave them a new football field they help with the fairgrounds in donations there an amazing company. The employees are always happy.

I think we went to this original stand back in 1992! They have never disappointed us, ever! The people are the best! So friendly, and upbeat, says a lot about the company. The coffee is so good. They now have cold brew in a can. I am hoping to find some closer to home, it is that good! Since I am on a weird diet they even accommodated me by running to the grocery store to buy me the correct milk! They even gave it to me to take with me to finish my trip! I swear to god I couldn't look them in the eye when I said thank you because I didn't want them to see that I had tears. We will be back, every time we pass through Oregon. Well, when in the home of Dutch Bros you need to go to the epicenter. This little coffee shop has sit down areas, just like star____s. I don't really drink coffee, but did order some for my family and added a hot chocolate for myself. The girl was very helpful, and was quick to take care of me. The other guy, all tatted up with piercings, too numerous to mention were moving quickly and gave it a hipster feel.

So yummy!! Love my cold brew with soft top! Fast and fun! I love to surprise my sons and employees with a db!

Probably one of the best coffees I've had while traveling! It's definitely a great idea drive thru! I had the Irish kick and it was perfect! If only we had this in California! I would probably make this my regular coffee stop next to my keurig at home seriously! Very friendly service , quick and ideal for on the road and I'm definitely coming back before we return home from our Oregon trip! Happy new year! Dutch bros!

I tried an iced drink here, the German Chocolate Freeze. The medium is HUGE! Way more than I needed (but I drank it all anyway!) and it had a nice chocolate coconut flavor. Sweet and like dessert. Friendly staff, super convenient drive thru, a really fun place to visit on our vacation here in Oregon, and I would be back for sure if I lived here!

The coffee is spot on, these guys know what they're doing! Also, $1 for a mug of house coffee? It's a steal! This place is perfect if you're a high school student looking for a place to look cool, hang with your friends, and generally just loiter. Nothing against them, I used to be in high school too (the Safeway parking lot was our location of choice -- super cool, I know). But as a grad student wanting to enjoy some coffee and do some studying, this joint is the most unproductive environment imaginable. No other option, though, as this is the only coffee shop open past 5 in town. I'd give this place more stars save for the surplus of pubescents. Interesting tidbit: open mic every Thursday starting at 7PM.

Dutch Bros Coffee is an excellent Grants Pass, Oregon-based chain. Unlike more ambitious chains like Peet's&Starbucks, they don't have sit-down areas&extensive menus. While Starbucks tried to become a lifestyle brand with its own record label, Dutch Bros focuses on what it does best.... coffee. They have a wonderful signature Irish creme that they highlight in their Kicker&911. They focus on fast, friendly service. Perfect way to start the day! Or be awake for a drive back. Dutch Bros has about 94 stores&it's worth it!

Nothing like Starbucks! We always look forward to enjoying Dutch Brothers coffee when we travel to the PNW. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, their focus is totally making sure you are happy with your fresh and properly brewed coffee or tea!

I'm a big Dutch Bros fan. I prefer it over most other chains. I visited this location a few times on my trip. Every time my drink was perfect and service was great. My favorites are white mocha or chai tea. We finally got one in Vegas (soon to be 30!) so now I can get my fix back home.

It was nostalgic to come to the original location, where it all started. When you step inside it is vibrant - lots of bright colors to stimulate your eyes. There's a cool exposed brick atmosphere with decor to show that this location is the originator. The staff was friendly and helpful in selecting my drink. I can never really understand what the names of the drinks actually portray so I barely ever know what to order. It was early January when I stopped by here and they still had the holiday cup design so that made my experience even better. There's a lot of sitting space in the coffee shop and there seemed to be a lot of happy customers.

I called Dutch Bros corporate office in Grant's Pass Oregon to ask questions about sizing on t shirts for a Christmas present. One of their employees offered to place the order for me. They sent the wrong shirt. After a bunch of hassle, I returned it. I ended up with no Christmas present, and I am out $5.15 shipping for nothing. They don't respond to emails, don't answer phones. I don't care how their coffee is at this point. I would stay as far away from this unproffessional company as possible. Since posting this, Dutch Bros have refunded my shipping costs. Thank you.

These guys are amazing. Drove in from Los Angeles Ca to spend time with my father who is passing from cancer. Never been here and they gave my hubby and I our coffees. It was amazing flavor I'd move here just for the wonderful people and great coffee alone. You guys are the best.

Yes, I am biased because they started in my hometown however, for a smooth cup of Joe...Hit up Dutch Bros.

I love the flavored coffee drinks of all sorts that Dutch brothers provides. The pumpkin and caramel are probably my favorites though chocolate raspberry is very close. Unlike other places in town I can actually taste the flavor and I like my jolts of caffeine and energy with lots of yummy sweet goodness which this coffee shop definitely provides. The pastries are always yummy too and a very good and unique selection at great prices. The sit down version of Dutch Brothers is sometimes a bit too cold for my liking and the music is a bit loud, as in having to raise voices for conversation so if both of these were a little less it would be the perfect coffee shop. Either way it's probably my favorite in town for the flavored coffee and pastries.

Today was our first experience at Dutch Bros. AWESOME!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! The service, the drinks were GREAT!!

And thank you, Brain Freeze (or whatever you're called now), for keeping me awake -- a 31-year old woman, pretend slaloming and hip-slinging imaginary Hoola-Hoops on a Wii in my friends' living room -- 'til 3am.

When your 12 year old has boycotted The Human Bean because his classmate is like the owners son, and his parents made my sons last year in elementary school last year sort of rad by donating dutch unicorn shirts for field day, I've gotta give a great rating. I mean-not that I don't occasionally (a few times a week) go get a sugar free ER-911 or Double Torture, but that's amazing. Thank you for supporting the kids, and being involved even though you all have to be crazy busy! Now if you can just throw a few locations in Tucson AZ, I'll be super happy!

I'm not sure if the above address is for the one that I've been to twice on my random Oregon/Washington road trips, but this coffee is soooooooooo good! The one that I'm talking about is NOT a drive through and YES this is a chain, but the Grants Pass town makes it feel like it's its own little secret. The espresso drinks are awesome and the staff is so friendly, even to outsiders. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by... it's close to highway 5 and it's worth the break. They even have the typical pastries and bagels. According to the website, they also have sites in California (along the 5 of course) so map out your destination and make sure you get some Dutch Bros. coffee in between!

Nice to stop at a friendly place with chatty, friendly staff in the middle of a road trip. Great to see such a diverse mix of people enjoying their Saturday morning coffees: from soccer moms in too-tight spandex to cigarette-smoking semi-homeless bicycle-riding dudes.

Are you fricken kidding me? Best experience ever. We have never been to a Dutch Bros before. We pulled up and someone came up to our car to take our order. We explained to her what we were craving and got exactly what we wanted. Pull up to the window and I can tell it was a cool place because of the music and the people working and all their cute stuff and the good mood everyone was in. The gentleman at the window asked if it was our first time there. We told him it was and we were traveling from out of state. He said first times free. We were so blown away. My husband tried to pay but the guy wouldn't take his credit card. This was an excellent experience and I'm so glad we stopped here! Thank you!

only went here once for the hot coco with whip cream. And man this shit rocks BIG time bro. I havnt had hot coco since i was a kid, and it was worth every penny indeed. It seems that they have a monopoly in this part of oregon.

Best coffee chain there is, hands down. Their menu items are delicious every time. The staff is always happy and friendly. Orders are filled quickly and accurately. I like their coffee and their style. The relaxed, fun atmosphere they've created makes it comfortable to get a coffee, unlike many of their counterparts. With locations that are open 24 hours I can get a fix anytime. Love this place.

During a recent road trip through N. CA and Oregon, we were turned on to the Dutch Bros Coffee chain. My goodness. The service at all of the locations we visited (Crescent City, Grant's Pass sit-down, Grant's Pass drive thru, Cave Springs and Redding) was simply outstanding. The 3 attendants at this spot, (white mustached male, male from Vallejo and dark haired woman with a smiley smile) absolutely nailed it and we each ended up purchasing two drinks during this stop. As mentioned in another Yelp review, the music is loud... which would make for a challenging study environment. However, before coffee shops became office spaces, they were places for folks to congregate, chat and debate. Refreshing to find a space that doesn't feel like a library. Coffee is good. Service is out of the this world. Note- There is wifi available for those with noise canceling headphones.

Definitely the best place to go if you live in the Grants Pass-Portland area. The employees are hilarious, they are fast, and very flexible when it comes to "customizing" your drink. A great stop if you want coffee, an energy drink, a muffin, etc. They always have great deals like when it's your birthday, you get a free drink, also mothers day, fathers day, etc.

Consistantly friendly service and a great product. I'd choose them anyday over Starbuttocks.
