I am a regular customer at this location—I drive a white Jeep and come almost every single day. Normally, the girls who take my order are so sweet and respectful, but unfortunately, today was a very disappointing experience.
After placing my drive-through order, I pulled up to the window and even tipped before any interaction. The girl at the window mispronounced my name, which I politely corrected, but she looked visibly annoyed. That already set the tone, but I let it go.
Then, when she read back my order, she only mentioned one substitution. I asked politely if the others were included, and instead of simply confirming, she gave me attitude while reading it back, finishing with, “is that good?” in a tone that came across as snarky and condescending. I said yes, just to move on.
A second employee behind her noticed the drink had been made incorrectly and fixed it right away, which I appreciated—thank you to her for paying attention. But the way I was treated at the window was unnecessary and unprofessional.
I don’t expect anyone to go out of their way for me, but I do expect basic respect, especially as a loyal customer. The difference between how I’m normally treated here and how I was treated today was unfair and discouraging. Sadly, after this experience, I will not be returning.
