Seeing the B1-B doing Touch and Go's was an awesome sight! Also seeing the KC-135 tankers flying in formation to land at Dyess AFB was equally spectacular!

I was stationed there in 1970.It was my first assignment out of medical school at the time at Shepherd Air force base. I enjoy my time at the base. I met a lot of people who I would call friends. I remember the hospital was just inside the main gate. And the barracks were in the center of the base..🏥👨‍✈️🛩
