Dynamite Donuts

We ordered an egg and cheese on their jalapeño bagel and my oh my it’s amazing! Such a soft buttery bagel and delicious cheese on the inside and out. We also ordered a smorgasbord of donuts to try. Coffee is pretty good as well, a tasty vanilla latte with oat milk and iced white mocha.

Anyone that knows me knows I LOVE donuts. We got banana nut fritter, chocolate twist, cinnamon roll. All very absolutely delicious. One of the best donuts I've had in a long time. Staff could have been a little more friendly. We'll definitely be back for the donuts.

While I may have been overly cautious, it's essential to remain vigilant about cybersecurity in today's digital age. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this donut shop and would recommend it as a charming spot to indulge in a few treats and a cup of coffee. Despite the slightly higher prices, the quality and variety of donuts make it a worthwhile stop for any donut enthusiast.

Friendly staff. Wonderful service. Ambience is casual with seating for 2 or at the counter. Lots of wonderful donut options from mochi, to vegan, to the OG classics, and everything else in between. Donuts range from $2.25 to $3.50 or 1/2 dozen or dozen pricing. There are lots of variety to choose from and they are both visually and tastefully appealing. In addition, coffee type drinks are also available. A great spot for your sweet fix.

Outstanding donut shop a lot of donut shops I’ve been to don’t merit a review. You must know it’s very good if you see that the local law-enforcement frequent the place . What a selection of donuts plus they make espresso drinks and I believe they have breakfast sandwiches too..

These are the best donuts I've had in the Pinole/El sobrante/Hercules area. I ordered a chocolate bar which they were able to fill with custard. It was slightly expensive at $3.50 but they didn't cheap out with the filling, plus the donut was very good; it tasted like it had just been made. They also threw in 3 other donuts while only charging me for 1. I've been to other donut places in the area, and all of them are similarly priced, or more expensive, and have pretty terrible donuts. I will definitely return here and recommend this as the top donut shop in the area.

I really tried my hardest to like this place. I always wanna give my business to the small donut shops because I know it's a challenging time so whenever I have client visits, I use this donut shop as the option and usually spend over $100 on items in every visit. At this point, I've ordered donuts from here at least three or four times. The first time was OK. The second time left a lot to be desired, but these last two instances they entirely forgotten my order. I make it a point to order days in advance, and also not to order immediately when the store opens, I'm thinking about the employees that work there I want to give them time to prep my order which usually consist of six or more dozens of donuts. On today, December 5, I did frequent the donut shop and had placed in advance order to start at 8:15 AM. I arrived early and sat in the parking lot and waited till close to my donut. Pick up time. I went inside at 8 o'clock and inquired about my order and pick up time. The associate had no clue what order I had. She went to the back and came back and said I don't have any order for any donuts under the name, Michael, I went into my email and showed her the purchase history and then she went to a tablet device and printed out a ticket. She then went ahead and started prepping the order. I let them know that it was unfortunate that this was yet again another time where they weren't managing their software appropriately and that my order was being prepped late she said well you came in the store 15 minutes early that's why it wasn't ready. I said had I not come into the store you still would not have had it ready. It's not like you came and said oh yeah we're working on it. Give us 10 minutes. You didn't even know that my order existed. Now and moving forward, I will not be patronizing this donut shop due to the lack of customer service. I would much rather give my money to Dunkin' Donuts or Krispy Kreme, where I think customer service is at the forefront of their model.

We tried this spot because of the good reviews and they don't do it justice. The only thing better than these donuts is the customer service. I love it when good people do good things and this is one of them. Highly recommend!!!

I went here for the first time and loved this place!! Got half a dozen for $11 for a friend's birthday gift. The worker was very nice and gave me 2-3 extra donuts to try. Thank you!! They have such fun flavors! I tried the fruity pebbles, ube, matcha, sprinkles, glazed & chocolate. I want to come back to try their bfast sandwiches, I heard they're tasty!

There is a nice choice of donuts here. Staff is nice and friendly. Kinda pricey maybe, but donuts are very good. There are creative flavors and well executed classics. I will definitely come here again.

This is a great place for donuts. They look delicious and taste delicious as well and also service was nice and fast. We will be back again.

Why bore yourself with glaze and chocolate frosting donuts when you can have next level dynamite donuts? Flavors and presentation are dynamite and the staff is DYNO-MITE! They truly do live up to their name by not only having some of the prettiest donuts you've seen, but by bringing very unique and inventive flavors to the otherwise run of the mill treat. I always make it a point to go outside the box and try something new and every time I visit, they always have something new in the box so be sure to fill up your pink box as much as you can because who knows how long the new tastes will be around.

Summary: I recommend this place. Good food, great customer service, clean and chic place. Food: We ordered Oooh-bae and custard-filled chocolate donuts. Both are moist and just enough sweetness. Good for those who are craving sugar but are also watching sugar level intake. The ube flavored donut had ube flavor. I know I know - duh, right?! No. I've tried so many ube flavored pastries but only tastes sweet. This one though is the opposite. Though the flavor is not strong, it is there. Next time, I'll order the Cookie Monster, Elmo, Unicorn, Panda and other cute donuts. It doesn't have to be a kids party right? An adult could enjoy these. They offer two types of donuts: the regular flour donuts and the cake dough donut. Both are good. We also had medium regular oat milk latte (there is a vanilla latte, hence, "regular") and a black coffee. To my delight, the drink size here is bigger than other places? Well I'm not sure if it's because they are bigger or the server, a young gentleman (more on this guy down at 'Service' section of this review), just hooked us up. Anyway, my latte was 'perfect' - just enough sweetness to curb my craving for a sweet coffee but not diabetes inducing. (BTW, this kept me up the whole night! I literally finally felt sleepy at 730AM the following day when it's time to work. So for those non-coffee drinkers, don't drink this in the afternoon, like the way I did.) Service: We came here on Sunday, 21Jan2024, afternoon around 4PM. A young and good looking (to my fellow lady readers, he's an eye candy) gentleman served us. He was friendly and approachable, always smiling. I could tell he does not bring personal issues while doing his duties. He is genuinely happy serving customers. He also gave us free donuts, two . Thank you! Keep up the good work. Space: This is where the soft serve yogurt (then became the Filipino spot for Spanish Señorita bread) used to be at in the Hercules Sycamore strip along San Pablo avenue (where Shell is at). Space is big enough to accommodate a few customers but note that their tables are restricted to two people - you can always get a chair from the other tables or connect tables, just make sure to ask them if that is alright. They also have a bar type table for those who'd like to watch the street while enjoying their delicious donuts and coffee. Clean space. I love the hanging trailing Pothos plant, it relaxes you, making the place more homey. I'd describe it as chic. Parking: Public parking and it's free.

One of my favorite donut spots in the bay! This place has a wide variety of donuts to choose from and huge breakfast sandwiches. Great spot for a quick grab and go before heading out since it is right off the freeway!

I really had high expectations for this place, but I was sadly disappointed. The donuts are aesthetically pleasing and they have a wide variety of unique flavors. I ordered the banana walnut fritter, blueberry glazed and the Samoa. The Samoa donut was extremely dry and it was your basic old fashioned with the topping added. The banana walnut fritter was an interesting take on the classic apple. It wasn't bad however, it was incredibly sweet. The blueberry was pretty tasty. I've had donuts with better taste and at a cheaper cost at other donut shops. They also have breakfast sandwiches. I may give them another shot and try the breakfast sandwich.

Our family has been wanting to try Dynamite Donuts ever since a neighbor posted about their grand opening last year. We went on a weekday late afternoon. There was no line. We picked up half a dozen and the gentleman working there threw in a couple plain donuts for free (maybe because it was end of day?). The donuts were all very fresh. We tried various kinds, filled ones, chocolate, unicorn, etc and they were all good. Clean store. Great service. Good donuts. What else can you ask for?

Relatively new donut shop that has opened up in Hercules. My eyes opened in amazement as I walked through the door. We bought a variety of things, some to eat and some to give out to some family members. I can personally vouch for a rainbow sprinkles cake donut (tender and not dry). We got one with pop rocks on it that we should have eaten right away (ate it the next day and it wasn't very poppy). My daughter loved the Unicorn one. Love the variety they have here. Some really fun and unique items. Staff is very helpful as well.

You ever just having a craving for sweets like cake or pie but in smaller form? Then look no further then a donut! I was driving home and thought donuts nearby and found this spot located in a convenient shopping area in Hercules. It was almost closing but I was welcomed with smiles and more than a few options of delicious donuts from jelly filled, maple with bacon, fruity pebble mochi and since they all looked so yummy I was too excited to take pics while in the shop. Ok I've fallen prey in the best and worst way to Hercules's hot new donut shop! Let's just say I've already frequented here more times that I'd like in the past few weeks with up to a dozen per visit. Located conveniently in the Sycamore plaza with the Jack in the Box, I'm sure this place gets a lot of foot traffic with the surrounding businesses. The ambiance is clean and inviting with fresh plants, wood shelves, tasteful decor, and of course a ravishing, whimsical display of freshly made traditional and specialty donuts. Menu also boasts breakfast sammies, hot and cold beverages. The donuts are scrumptious - they have an ube crumb cake donut and beautifully decorated glazed donuts that have always made it into orders. Whatever your fancy is, dynamite donuts will have them. The service from the staff is excellent - one time I came close to closing time and the lady gave me a few extra donuts on the house. How can I not be back?

Came here early in the morning and the shelves were stacked. I ordered half a dozen that came out to be about $17. Maybe it's because of the donuts I picked? But I wasn't told that it would cost more as I was telling the lady my selections either. They offer traditional, mochi, and other unique flavored donuts - a great variety. But at a cost of at least $2.75 per donut, it's kind of pricey. Also, the donuts were cold. I'm not sure if they can warm it up for you if you'd ask, but can they at least offer esp since the establishment is new and many of the customers may not know? A great variety of donuts and a cute interior. But I hope next time, they can provide more information for new customers instead of waiting for the customer to ask questions. Customer service goes a long way esp since customers are already paying a pretty penny for the donuts.

I absolutely love this local donut shop! I've stopped in on several occasions and my only complaint would be the long wait. But I have to say they are well worth the wait. At times there are only two staff persons and with one cooking to order (gotta love that) only one was left to serve the very long line. Nonetheless the staff are very patient and kind. Now on to the donuts... Donuts don't have to be hecka hecka sweet to be good and that's what I love about Dynamite! Even with all the pretty, colorful decorations I don't feel like I've got a mouthful of sugar. And there are so many to choose from. Always fresh and every single one that I've tried are de-fricken-licious! I took a variety of four dozen to the office for a meeting and everyone raved over how good they were. Since then I stop in once or twice a week. This spot is a gem!!

Been dying to check this place out since they opened and finally got the chance to today. They did not disappoint. They have such a variety its so hard to pick. I of course had to go for the ube and red velvet donuts. Both were super good and soft. You cant go wrong with the original glaze. Literally so soft and not too sweet. Ill have to try every single one of their donuts because im sure theyre all bomb. The guy threw in 2 extra donuts for us. Will forsure be my goto donut spot. Cant wait to try the other donuts and other menu items.

A yummy new donut shop in Hercules with a twist! I tried one of their ube donuts last week and loved it so much, I had to go and try a dozen. I tried an assortment of their classic and gourmet donuts. My favorites were the ooh-bae and horchata hour. The best thing about most of these donuts is how they are not too sweet. Their employees were really nice and were patient with me when I was being indecisive about my donuts LOL the inside was also cute! Definitely give them a try! I can't wait to try more different flavors and get some faves again. While looking at their donuts, someone let me know that their fritters, especially apple, was the best they ever had, so I'm definitely trying that next time.

So many selections of donuts. so many to chose from. A cop's favorite place to eat at. Now we know where Hercules Police Department will be hanging out. Hercules struck gold on having a donut place. It is in the same shopping center as Starbucks and Sharetea. The parking lot can be crowded in the afternoon. Every time I come here I always get friendly service. Not only are the donuts are sweet but the people that work here.

I seen this place recently pop up on my IG feed and had to check it out. I love a good donut and they look like they had a huge variety and many to choose from. I had easily found the place right off the freeway and it had a small parking lot. I had to take a few minutes to decide what i wanted to get. I settled on the Matcha Green tea, the Cocoa Krispy chocolate; and a strawberry and blueberry donuts. Like the 80's Sitcom ""Good times!" , as Jimmy Walker would say, These donuts are really Dynamite!! All the donuts tasted fresh and the Chocolate was Soo good and was very delicious. People who worked there were friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back to try more of their selection of donuts.

There's a new donut shop in Hercules and they just opened a few months ago. The place is very clean and they have a lot of donuts to choose from. You can look at their clear glass ordering station and your mouth will be salivating at all of their sweet and delicious donuts. From simple donuts to extra fancy ones, you just can't resist getting a box of them. We didn't see a long line and the patrons were getting in and out quickly. We ended up getting a box of different kinds of donuts. I like ube and I took a few of their ube cake donut. I saw a banana fritter and had to get one. Once you get your donut, don't forget to also have a cup of coffee. It's refreshing in the morning to have a donut with a hot cup of coffee. Since we're staying in Hercules, I don't have to go far to get myself some good-tasting donuts.

Dropped by before work today! The donuts here are delicious! I love the red velvet! It's probably not called that, but that is my favorite donut from here! The service is always quick, and it's nice inside! Everyone is very friendly! Definitely give this place a try if you're craving donuts!

This was my first time here, and I heard about this place a while ago . I love how they have traditional donuts but also the new fun donuts such as the cereal topped donuts. The service was great and friendly, plus it's in my neighborhood. The ambiance was chill, and I would definitely return soon.

The name says it all: they serve dynamite donuts! We enjoyed the classics (old fashioned was delicious!) as well as the more unique flavors on offer. Try blueberry and lemon-- great flavors and not too sweet, considering that they're coated in sugar glaze!

I lived in Hercules between 2006-2017. "Moved on" without any consideration to move back in this community. It's nice to have joined the community Facebook group to stay updated since my mom still lives in this town. That's how I found out about Dynamite Donuts. So glad to see an aesthetically pleasing, clean business dishing out yummy donuts, priced well too, in Hercules. I mean, we're not in San Jose. I got the sugar raised donut and their dulce de leche donut of the month for $4.25. Both donuts were fluffy and "not too sweet". When I'm in the area or talking about Hercules, I will recommend dynamite donuts.

What a TREAT! Great selection of donuts, from all the classics you know and love, to more adventures options! We popped in the other day and I had a matcha donut, while my son chose a chocolate-glazed with m&m's. These donuts were BIG and fluffy, and the matcha frosting on mine was so smooth and tasty. My son also guzzled his right up. We would gladly return.

The service is A+! Walking in my daughter and I were welcomed warmly. They allowed my daughter to make her choice which took a little time but he was so kind and had it ready for her, always with a genuine smile. The donuts are awesome! The design and the taste both are dynamite for sure! The place is also a really cool spot to just hang out and do your work while drinking a good coffee and donut. This is the first time I've been here but will for sure be back!

Went to the new donuts place at 5:30am in the morning and they have already had many donuts ready! Selection are huge and some of the favors are unique eg, lemon blueberry, matcha, key lime....they also have mochi donuts! The donuts were delicious and my team really enjoy them. Will definitely go back for more.

Cute shop with delightfully decorated donuts. We had the turkey decorated donut, which was cute to look at, but I wouldn't order again. I wasn't a fan of the frosting and toppings, very average taste. We also had the Sweet Piggy. A maple donut topped with bacon. You can't really lose when adding bacon to a donut. Will definitely get again.

The donuts here are so good. Probably the best in the area id have to say. We went in about 5 pm on a thursday, glad it is still open til 7 pm. Parking was right in front of the store, there are a lot of parking spaces in this community. We were greeted with a smile and the service was quick. We got the lime donuts, coconut topped, pistachio, sugared and glazed. Amazing selection here and it tastes so goooddd. It was still warm when we got home. We will definitely be back for more and probably sit down and eat to feel the ambiance inside. Really happy that this is just around the corner and surprised that it took us this long to try it out. Come grab a donut here if you are around.

Donuts are not my favorite sweet treat. I really do not have any place to compare the donuts to. They are a new business in town and the only donut shop. They are located in a strip mall with adequate parking. There were a lot of choices. I went with a traditional glazed donut. I enjoyed my sweet treat. If I have a craving for a donut I will stop here. The store was clean and busy. The people behind the counter were pleasant. I am giving them 5 stars because they have a large variety of sweets and the people who were munching on donuts looked like they were enjoying them.

Every time I'm in the Bay Area I have to grab their Ube donuts. It's so good and perfectly most. The Ube flavor is not overwhelming... so good!

It was pretty good! The green tea doughnut was our favourite followed by the crème brûlée. The panda one was aesthetic but tasted like a regular frosted doughnut.

Talk about a banger! Big shout out to my sister for learning about this place. We were able to check it out on its second day and it did not disappoint. The line wrapped around the inside and donuts were flying off the case...so popular that some flavors didn't get to be refilled. Customer service is 10/10z the whole team is hospitable and people didn't mind the wait time of less than 10 minutes in line. The are is so clean and well maintained. Now be aware that the parking lot is tiny as it is a shared plaza. Location is easily accessible and prices are very decent. They have a variety of flavors and they even have one with hot Cheetos on it (I was nervous to try this one but when I left I instantly regret not grabbing one) and they have mochi donuts and donut holes as well. It's style is minimalist and the donuts made me and my sister very happy. Cannot wait to share this place with others.

Hercules needed this donut shop. The glaze cronut was the winner out of all the donuts I got, but the Keroppi donut was the cutest. If you have any Sanrio fans who love Hello Kitty or any "cutesy" type donuts, I recommend this shop. Whenever I come in, the food is fresh and delicious. The staff is always really kind and helpful. There are a lot of choices, so they are patient when you are deciding what to choose. Also, the inside is extremely chill. There's not too much going on, it sort of gives off a cafe vibe. Just be sure to go earlier rather than later because they have been selling out!

Dangerously good donuts!! I think these might be some of my favorite donuts I've ever had. I was humming and signing at first bite. I got the apple fritter, glazed, caramel, and chocolate. All were equally as good. All the donuts were nice thick and fluffy, with the right amount of sweetness, and just overall really good flavoring. The only thing I would possibly change is more apple pieces in the fritter. Ordered these for delivery on a Sunday and they threw in a of couple free donuts. Great business. They earned them a regular.

A new small business that recently opened in Hercules. A donut shop serving coffee and sandwiches. They have a variety of donuts and vegan options too. Donuts are best consumed fresh. Both my girls enjoy coming here, we visited two days in a row. The yeast raised donuts are nice and fluffy but still have some chew. The Apple fritter was nice and moist but still has a crunchy outside. I also tried their chocolate on chocolate donut; it was a bit sweet for me. Ambiance is pretty minimalistic. Overall, I am happy to have a local donut shop down the street which I shall be a frequent visitor of.

What a great new place in Hercules! It's such a cute shop set up in a small plaza. Parking is going to be hard to find sometimes but you can possibly find parking on the far end of the parking lot. The inside has a nice simplistic aesthetic. There is limited seating for small groups. The service was really great! Got greeted when i walked in and helped almost immediately despite the store being quite busy. They even gave me an extra donut :) the owners are very nice and thoughtful. The donuts are pretty to look at and yummy to eat! They actually aren't too expensive and the donuts are pretty big as well. Of course you should have a sweet tooth because these donuts pack a sweet punch :) THEY ALSO HAVE MOCHI DONUTS! I'm not a huge sweets person but i actually enjoyed the donuts here! Even though they just opened they are very on top of serving customers and are open to suggestions and optimistic about changes to the store to meet customer satisfaction. I look forward to coming here again and worth the try if you're looking for some yummy donuts!!

I tried their NEW croissant avocado toast with fried egg and it was delicious, it was just the right avocado, feta and seasoning. I didn't feel so bad eating it because of the avocado. Haha. Service was and is always the best AND the place is clean. You can tell they take pride.

VEGAN DONUTS IN THE HOUSE, its delicious, fresh and moist!!!!!! I'm so happy that it's close to home! I used to drive to Berkeley/Oakland to get some vegan donuts. THANK YOU DYNAMITE DONUTS!

Wonderful wonderful doughnuts! And the young lady at the cashier is superb!!!! Love her! I have never seen such a selection and creativity around this area. They are super fresh and delicious. There is a breakfast sandwich I will be back to try, they serve it in the afternoon too! Who says doughnuts are to be only eaten in the morning? They have mochi doughnuts too.

Had an assortment of donuts, ordered a half dozen and got a few extras thrown in for free. A great surprise! Had an ube crumb, cronuts, and the kids had a pink simpsons like one and a unicorn decorated one. All we're delicious, the raised ones were super fluffy and doughy. Definitely would stop in again if we're in the area

My favorite donuts! I got a random dozen delivered and they are so big and fluffy. I also got a gourmet donut. The frosting was a little thick and sweet but I still liked it.

LOCATION: Address listed is incorrect 3700 San Pablo Ave is the correct location it's right behind the shell gas station the pinned location is correct on yelp, it's the only way i found this place DONUTS: i'm mad i didn't get a dozen, we picked out 4. the cronuts are amazing, perfect moist texture without being oily and not overly sweet. we got a confetti cake type and another with fruity pebbles on top. everything was amazing

Friendly staff and was helpful. the salesperson also provided us info on better value in buying the donuts we picked rather than paying more individually so i like that they do offer some common sense for customers which prompted this review. overall, great donuts... taste fresh and i got a chance to try creme brûlée donut, love it!!! i will buy this creme brûlée again.
