Dzoukou has moved to Delhi’s far South, though, and gotten even better. The casual, comfortable spot serves traditional food from Nagaland, which was once kept at the periphery of the local restaurant scene but now at its center as Naga chefs cook with foraged and well-sourced ingredients from their lush, hill-clad state in Northeast India. I am new to the north eastern kitchen so will not comment on the authenticity of the recipes. The taste was unusual but good. The place itself was boring, dull and unwelcoming. The staff did not help at all to select from the menu.

I had heard a lot about this place from fellow foodies and was able to finally visit after years. Loved the food itself, the menu and it's authenticity. I loved the freshness of the ingredients too. I have reduced one star simply because there is room for improvement in areas like cleanliness, service and time management - the food was all good

The food was super salty, had to add water to reduce the saltiness. The service was overall not good, the receptionist seemed quite in hurry when taking orders. The food was quite expensive considering the quality of the food. I have been to many NE restaurants here in Delhi comparatively quite high in terms of pricing. Overall, not coming back again.

TL;DR - food was great, if you have the chance to go, go! This restaurant was a great spot for a late night dinner. The unique flavors allowed to to learn more about Nagaland which served us well in the rest of our travels around India. Budget a little more time eating here than some other places as the food takes a bit but trust that it’s worth it - the black sesame smoked pork was out of this world and not to be missed. The green tea was stellar too. Giving this a 4 star instead of 5 just because it was not overly clean, but overall the food was delicious and well-prepared.

I come here whenever I’m alone and have a flight to catch to leave Delhi. I have a standard order of Naga rice, axone curry and assorted greens. I look forward to this meal the entire day and I’m happy to report it leaves me fulfilled. There have been inconsistencies in the past, but primarily because I’ve only visited in off hours and only so little a deviation that I still come back wanting more. It’s not for everyone, true, but I love it! Thanks team!

The prices are slightly on the higher side for the ambience and very basic setup. A rural feel to the decor Total of 24seating available with 06 outdoor seating with provision for smoking. The food is tasty and seems authentic. The service is great as the no. of tables are pretty less. Its a Naga kitchen. The board outside is not lighted and hence had to call and cross check if the restaurant is open. Situated on 2nd floor through spiral stairs. Adjoining parking is chargeable at 20/hr.

I love Naga food and have tried and tested it everywhere, but here the food was rather way too bland. The pork overcooked, was a little disappointed. Amazing hospitality however need to up the food game.
