Always a fun place to visit. Love the food and entertainment.

Google
It is a great place to party with your friends! Make sure you are safe though. Although there are police patrolling throughout, but be safe while you’re there, try not to go alone.

It's interesting for someone going to visit for the 1st time. It's a bit "dirty" and not the safest spot to hang out in the later hours of the night and infamously known.

East 6th Street in Austin is raw, loud, and alive. At night, the whole street transforms into a chaotic mix of music, lights, and people from every corner of the city. The bars and pubs range from grungy dive joints with sticky floors and cheap drinks to spots with surprisingly solid cocktails and live bands that actually know what they’re doing. It’s not polished or curated—just energy, noise, and movement. If you’re into places that don’t pretend to be something they’re not, East 6th has a certain honesty to it. That said, it gets crowded and a bit messy after midnight, so it’s best enjoyed earlier in the evening or with a group that can roll with the madness.

Yelp
Best frozen drinks! Nice happy hour pricing. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly service. Crowd of all ages.

Yelp
I haven't been to this bar since it was under the previous management. Unfortunately, that visit was the last stop on a bar crawl for my birthday way back in college, so I can't remember the place well enough to compare. Like my previous time on the premises, I spent way more on drinks than I planned to, but justified my purchases because of the special occasion. This time, the occasion was SXSW, and I feel the venue is optimized for small shows year-round with the well-connected indoor and outdoor segments. The 1970s theming under the new ownership feels very au courant, and I wonder how it will age. Regardless of the theming, the structure of the location is conducive to partying because it's so good as a small music venue.

Yelp
We went in on a Friday night, and the vibe was a bit off. Not that many people, nobody dancing, not my vibe. They have a pool table, and it's a pretty big space so a bit weird that there was nobody there on a weekend. Music was not that great.

Yelp
Place has a good atmosphere & a chill vibe. Good music! Also there's a pool table which is a + to me if you're a billiards person. I got the phil Collin's cocktail + 2 Jell-O shots it was a good price, the drink was a bit bitter but hey can't have everything in life. Cheers

Yelp
We happened upon this bar by chance and had a great time. There is a parking lot across the street, as well as a ton of street parking available. They had signs for their pickle backs so we had to do Jameson shots with pickle backs and they did not disappoint! They also had multiple Austin beers in cans and bottles! There were so many tables inside and outside, with heaters outside as well! The only bummer was that the bathroom was basically flooded. The floor was soaked and smelled quite bad.

Yelp
East 6th corner bar. It's just cool. Retro. Laid back. No frills. But not divey either. A true bar to hang out at. There are 3 small tvs, but no sound, it's Not a sports bar. music is playing. Pool table. 2 bathrooms. Elevated patio to watch people on the sidewalks.

Yelp
We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the patrons, and the bartender. It had a photo booth and some good places to sit. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this place but what makes it a good place to hang is the people. The drinks are cheap and the pool table is only $1. This is honestly my favorite place to play pool cause I get to meet people from all walks of life and just about everyone is really cool. Some of the college girls that come to watch their dudes play are a bit immature at times but other than that, this is a great place. They play a variety of music that get's everyone singing out loud at times and sometimes there is a DJ. The bathrooms are kind of gross but if you have to go, you have to go. Also, Sometimes you can find free parking nearby and if your lucky, you might witness some paranormal activity like my husband and I did, lol.

Yelp
These guys gave me six lemons... I tell you what, Matt can mix a drink better than Chilis. I think he said it was called a "fun collins" but someone else said, "no! That's a Peter Gabriel" I'm not going to argue with it either way, that guy made great music --- have you heard "Sledgehammer"? Best service I've ever had.

Ileanna F.

Yelp
Amazing service with MAT!!! He was amazing. 100% recommend to anyone taking a stop on 6th

Yelp
I had the boozy hot cocoa, three of them actually, so yummy. They have four seasonal hot cocktails :) I love this bar. I love the tvs playing old movies. The DJ was playing some good music. We sat on the covered patio & talked. This is a chill place to hang out amongst the craziness of the other tech-bro-y bars in the area. Also, the bartenders are afraid friendly here.

Yelp
Super chill bar with quite a bit of seating inside. There's one pool table and a few different rooms. The bathrooms could use some help, but the lines were never long. As for their drinks, we kept it pretty basic Friday night, but the bartenders were super nice and showed us some of their specialty drinks, which looked really fun! Would definitely recommend if you're bar hopping down E 6th St.

Yelp
Super cool dive bar with a great vibe and great drinks. Their speciality cocktails are fantastic and reasonably priced. Good beer and wine selection, ample seating, good music, nice staff, and overall a great spot on East Sixth.

Yelp
You can tell the folks at this bar take pride in their frozen drinks. They have two frozen drink options at time and both are always refreshing and delicious. Their patio is covered and really comfortable. The staff is fun and friendly. Stop in, get a frozen drink, enjoy the nice patio.

Yelp
The bouncer was super friendly as was the bartender. We enjoyed our drinks and headed out for the night! Stop by when you're on East!

Yelp
Very laid back, cool bar with some of the best pickle back shots I've ever had! Has a pool table and a large sitting area with a photo booth and old movies playing off of a projector which makes it easy to lose how many hours you spend here!

Yelp
Terrible outing due to one of your door guys. We had a company outing and was treated like crap. He had glasses and was heavy set. Very rude and had a power trip

Yelp
I stopped in the speedy looking bar the other night and it felt just like home. It's the kind of place that you swear that you have been in a hundred times or more... I sat right down at the bar and ordered a fine, local fizzy water that was nice and cool and crisp. Random groups of people started arriving and everyone immediately clicked, and it was a pleasure to be there and experience the synchronicity... it felt like were all a part of something bigger... with a greater purpose than just drinking, one of reflection and appreciation, and a general celebration of life. Maybe it was the inspiring tone of Balboa on the screen as he watched his best friend die, and you could see the resolve in his eyes and how determined he was to make it right. I left the bar and it felt good to have been there, with those people during that time. It was the right place to be, and it will be the right place to be again, the next time I am near there and am thirsty for more than liquid refreshment. And what I mean by that is, when my soul needs to find its center, which is always, so I will be by there again soon.
