Where to start...
Pros: Perfect soft egg, fresh toppings, spacious dining area, decent representation of 4 types of ramen. They also have good gyoza and buns. A wonderful selection of beverages. We had shoyu and tonkotsu ramen for reference...
Areas of improvement:
Food: broth lacked correct salt level, noodles are slightly overcooked, needs more soup, and chashu pork is very overcooked to where it is falling apart. (It should have a bite to it)
The menu is photo copied, no signage anywhere of the menu, no traditional Asian spoons(only standard plastic spoons), in fact, everything served in disposable plastic containers. There's no music, no ambience, and a bit too warm inside considering you're eating hot soup in summer.
Overall, I really hope they fix these things because the truth is I want a place like this to succeed in Miller Place. Variety is the spice of life, but they will need to do better to survive. This place is a distant 2nd place in comparison to Slurp down in Port Jefferson. They aren't exactly neighbors, but I'm guessing many will be willing to drive a bit farther for superior ramen when the craving hits.
