I didn't know it was there! Walking around, I accidentally stumbled into the place for a cold one, I also ordered a burger, and noticed --- how the men were so damn friendly to me!! Then I realized were I was. A beautiful place for a man to go, get a cold one, a decent burger at a reasonable price, and feel welcomed and accepted by beautiful people

These maniacs blast bass rattling music non stop without any breaks. I’ve submitted several noise complaints to the city and they send cops to tell them to turn it down (because it’s illegal), yet they just turn it back up when the cops go away again. Horrible place deserves to be shut down. Insane levels of disrespect. They never answer the phone so don’t bother calling (who could hear a phone ring over that racket?). I even went over in person and asked politely for them to turn it down, but they blew me off and acted extremely entitled and disrespectful. I felt physically unsafe when I was politely and reasonably asking them to stop breaking the law. Culture is top-down - you know staff acts like this because management encourages it. I recorded footage of their illegal behavior for documentation and while I was recording, one of their patrons started recording me back in retaliation! Imagine that being your first response.. not the type of patrons I’d want at my business, but management here clearly disagrees. This place attracts dangerous patrons who should not be wandering around threatening innocent people who live in the neighborhood. I would never spend a penny here and no one else should either. Insane maniacs leaving and entering this premises literally screaming and screeching in addition to the ridiculous bass thrum which SHAKES and RATTLES the walls of nearby buildings. This place is illegal, immoral, and is a blight upon the neighborhood.

Haven't been impressed, personally: Ridiculous level of music volume on the patio at practically all days and hours, even if the patio is empty or near-empty. I'm no square, either - I go to bars. I've stopped in at this place before and gotten a major "us vs them" vibe that made me uncomfortable. The patrons are boorish and rude and have shouted insults at me while I'm on the pool deck of my apartment next door as well. Seems they aren't really interested in anything outside of their current community, and in my opinion they work pretty hard to alienate anyone outside of it. Just not where I'd recommend to anyone, given all the options in town.

Thanks for offering an alternative to the $aloon Block Party for those who don't feel like taking out a second mortgage to enjoy their weekend and celebrate who we are! Happy Pride, y'all 🌈✨🏳️‍🌈🦄

A very welcoming place, ALWAYS. My husband and I live in Little Rock, SR most of the time, but have condo downtown and spend June -August here. As soon as I come in, the bartender, usually Johnny, makes my martini and my husband's cocktail. Sometimes we have to wait if they are really busy, but I don't have to flag anyone down. I'm acknowledged and as soon as they can, our drinks appear.

The staff is very rude and if you’re expecting a drink, be sure to wait for the bar tenders to be done eating their dinner in front of you. Don’t expect friendly people here. I’ve met friendlier people in a DMV.

Love the bar. Been coming for many years. Unfortunately their drinks are tiny and under poured. Exactly 1 ounce for 7.50. And that’s for rail. Maybe it was because it was a Viking game but people still notice. They should take care of their regulars a little better.

Yelp
An airplane mechanical issue left me stranded in Minneapolis for the night. I had prepared for this. My friend in town brought me to the eagle. Kitchen closes early. And things are slow on a week night. There was a gathering out in the ample outdoor area. The staff were courteous and kind. The kind of gay bar that will have Star Trek on the TV and you get served by a guy with a pup hood in his belt (They were a good boy)

Yelp
As a gay/queer bar loyalist, the Eagle has been famous and infamous in many of my circles for awhile! In my opinion, I do recommend this place. The ambiance is so fun with the decorations and the drinks are poured well. It's a bit of a stiff pour for those who aren't familiar but I am a big appreciator of a strong drink. They additionally offer beer, wine, and alcoholic slushies. They feature a provocative slideshow which helps add to the overall vibe of the bar. I've noticed over the years of coming here they have made definite strides to be more welcoming to the lesbian/transgender side of the queer community which is super appreciated. I think it's important to respect and understand that this is a queer space and you should be prepared to conduct yourself appropriately if you are a first timer or someone who doesn't self identify as part of the community. However, for those of us that are within the community this truly does feel like a place of no judgement which is incredibly valuable. They have a bouncer at the door and a large amount of seating and standing room. Service isn't necessarily the fastest or the most polite - but that's not what this place is trying to be. I would definitely recommend this place for a drink to start or end your evening!

Yelp
So excited about the new ownership and direction of the Eagle! The exterior has gotten a much needed facelift and the new signage is awesome, it actually looks like an Eagle bar now. The interior is very clean and inviting and the patio is huge and beautiful. We were there right at opening so since I hadn't had breakfast, I decided to try their French toast and WOW. It is made with a crusty French bread and it was delicious as well as fairly priced. Would definitely order this again! The staff is very friendly and the service is great as well. We look forward to going back!!

Yelp
Tommy is the best personable person and bar tender we have had in a long time downtown! And this is across MANY establishments by the stadium!!! You rock! Thanks Tommy!!!
