Earl Grey Lodge

Absolutely loved our stay here! We booked the entire lodge for our large group, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. Phil and Claire are fantastic hosts, so welcoming and helpful. The lodge was spotless and very comfortable, and the backyard is stunning, offering a perfect spot for group gatherings. Everything is within walking distance, including the pool and other entertainment options. Additionally, the breakfast provided was of excellent quality.

The Condo was perfect for our week’s stay, we loved the high quality decor and cosy fireplace. The bed was very comfy, as was the sofa bed. The kitchen was well equipped & the location is a very short walk to the lifts, restaurants and hot pools. Views look out onto the resort & slopes. Underground parking was a big bonus. Phil and Clare were very welcoming and helpful. If we’re lucky enough to come back to Panorama we’d definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely 3 night stay the Lodge - our first visit despite always wanting to stay. It was a perfect location - short walk to the lifts, restaurants, village and hot tubs. Excellent beds and bedding (I am fussy LOL). But the best was our hosts Phil and Clare, who provided a warm welcome, lots of great tips, a fantastic breakfast every day and a truly comfy environment that makes you want to come back again…and soon! Thank you both :)

We had a great stay. Walking distance to the panorama resort and activities. The host is very accommodating. Have a nice backyard! Great of families.

Great stay. Location is excellent. Hosts were very knowledgeable of the area and gave us good recommendations. The room was very nice (the King bedroom room + seating area was great… would recommend spending the extra money). Everything in and around the B&B is a three minute walk including the hot pools and base of the ski hill. Will be back again.

So many positive reviews already and I'm piling on here. It's so nice to stay in a place where you get to interact with the actual owners, vs a corporate hotel. Phil and Clare are really nice people and we enjoyed our time with them. Our room was very comfortable, the breakfast fueled us up properly for a day of skiing, and we highly recommend staying here.

Phil and Claire are amazing hosts. We love Earl Grey Lodge. We are treated like family every time we stay. The location is perfect with easy access to the lifts. The rooms are well appointed while the beds perfect. A mountain hideaway that we are booking again next year.

Earl Grey is just an awesome place - cosy, clean, friendly, accommodating, and much more. Clare and Phil are amazing hosts and will do whatever to help make you stay enjoyable. The breakfast is terrific. The building is wonderful with views every direction. This is a must stay if you want to enjoy panorama.

Just spent a wonderful night at the Earl Grey Lodge. Phil and Claire were absolutely AMAZING hosts for our party of three. They're there when you need them, and at a distance when you don't. I usually feel bed and breakfasts to be a bit stuffy, but this was the complete opposite. Their property has enough room to spread out, a very "mountain culture" feel, and access to all the amenities of Panorama Resort. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with some unbelievably nice sheets. Breakfast was very European; meat, cheese, good bread, and coffee tea to perk you up. All in all, a fantastic stay and cannot wait to go back. Ditch the Invermere clutter and spend some time on the mountain!

We are staying at Panorama, walked up and looked at the menu and decided to try it. The restaurant is called the Cabin Smokehouse. 3 of us ordered ribs and one ordered paella. Sides are potato and skewered veggies. They were ok with substituting a salad on one order. The ribs were tender and good bbq sauce. I would have liked them heated a little warmer but not enough to send them back. The sundae dessert was good. The paella got high marks. Service was prompt and we were checked on often. Plenty of seating available. I would recommend.

Worst BBQ I have ever had, server was decent and the ambiance is actually nice but the food! Oh boy... the ribs and brisket was cold when it came and the ribs were hard and old, you could tell because they came with a slap of cold bbq sauce on top... Anyway, next day diarrheal! Don't go there

Thank you Clare and Phil for a lovely, warm evening at the Earl Grey Lodge. You two are the perfect hosts and we enjoyed our overnight stay a couple of weekends ago... wished we could have stayed longer, but it's a perfect excuse to visit again. The Earl Grey Lodge is a quaint, charming chalet located in the heart of picturesque Panorama... steps away from the resort and ski lift. Guest rooms are cozy and pristine while the lounge room is convenient and comfortable as we spent the evening relaxing and watching DVDs from the media library. The upstairs serves as a fine dining restaurant with a huge kitchen, views of the mountain and a fireplace off to the side. There's no other way to spend a great weekend than at the Earl Grey Lodge. Wonderful B&B with scenic mountain views. Modern, clean and yet cozy. A chef is brought in to prepare dinner - check out their menu! Clare and Phil, the hosts, are very welcoming and are what makes this place so special. A great experience and we will definitely be back! - Doug and Rosalie, Beaumont, Alberta

This was by far the best restaurant we found at the resort, and that says something about the quality of this ski resort and the lack of options and restaurants there.... My hubby loved it but honestly, it was only because there was nothing else anywhere palatable. We ordered a very expensive Meat Tray $65 the first night and all the food on it except the mac and cheese was just 1 degree warmer than room temperature - how is that even possible? was it just sitting around all day under a hot plate? The brisket was so dry it was almost inedible. I know Im picky because we have a smoker at home and we smoke our own food including brisket and salmon and cheese and etc, but it wasnt just me, there were two other tables nearby and BOTH of them when asked by the server if the food was ok the response was that the meat was too dry. We went there the next night AGAIN only because there is no where else to go so we are a captive audience,,,,, so hubby once again ordered ribs but asked specifically "can you make sure the meat is hot please?" "Oh its the same spice for everyone. sorry we cant make it spicier!" "No I mean hot temperature. It needs to be hotter than last night, please." "OH ! OK !" guess what- still room temperature. Ugh. Also the art work in the bathroom is odd- all concerning musicals in San Fran. Ok fine, maybe the owner used to live there but now you are in BC, maybe find some ski appropriate art or something and keep the keepsakes at home. Doesnt put you in the mood of the setting. Also VERY EXPENSIVE. Rude chefs just standing around glaring at the customers (who are their bosses, lets be honest.) My adorable outgoing naturally friendly 14 yr old when he saw them all looking bored and staring at us thru the little cutout window into the restaurant gave them a big smile and huge exagerrated wave. Did he get a wave or a smile back? Nope. Nothing. Just more glaring. Wow I feel so welcome.

Fantastic food. Would definitely eat here again. Great service from the owners!! Our meals were very tasty. Service was prompt. Owner frequently visited our table to see how things were going. Food was hot right off the grill. Love supporting local family establishments.

We have had the pleasure of dining at Grey's many times. I wish every restaurant invested the time and energy into their business as Phil and Clair. Top quality food served with personal care.

The truffle infused potatoes left nothing to be desired. Unbelievable. Next time you are in the area stop in for dinner and you'll be amazed!
