Nice cozy donut shop in a strip mall in Chatsworth. Plenty and easy parking. This is your go-to place for donuts if you're in the area! Quick service and friendly staff too. Excellent pastrami and cheese sandwich btw! Update: Got a half dozen donuts and they give you one free! Nice new donut box too!

DELICIOUS donuts! I ordered a couple dozen for a party and people went nuts for them!! So fresh and yummy; I love how they have a deal when you get a dozen you get two additional donuts. Best place for when you need a sweet treat

I had a terrible experience here. The employee made me and another customer wait while she stood around discussing the schedule with a coworker, completely ignoring us. When she finally acknowledged me, she refused to let me buy six raspberry jelly donuts as part of my dozen, even though there were at least 20 sitting right there. Her reason? “I have to leave some for others.” Really? She was dismissive, rude, and clearly not interested in providing good service. I left immediately and won’t be back. Thankfully, I found The Donut Shop just a few blocks away. Not only were their donuts incredibly fresh and delicious, but the staff was friendly, professional, and actually cared about their customers. Go there instead. You’ll be glad you did.

Earl’s is the absolute BEST!! I moved to the valley a little over 3 years ago and found this cute donut shop. I’ve turned into a somewhat regular and I adore Dalin. Her customer service is wonderful and she is so sweet. She even recognizes me when I come in. One of the biggest reasons I love Earl’s is because their iced coffee. It’s Vietnamese Iced coffee and I’m obsessed! Also, their donuts are so incredibly fluffy and their sandwiches are yummy & flavorful. Best donuts in the valley!!!!

Earl's is a simple, hole in the wall shop that has the best donuts! Dough is well made and man, these donuts slap especially when they're fresh. Quality is unmatched, haven't had a bad experience yet.

Just picked up some basic donuts, a round cake donut with rainbow sprinkles, a chocolate glaze, & some glazed donut holes. Ate half of each could not stomach it & each one had the same aftertaste. They looked good and on the surface & first bite b4 swallowing tasted as it should but unfortunately there is a dirty greasy flavor in each donut. Which leads me to believe their grease trap where they fry the donuts is either not cleaned properly combined with likely the cheapest frying oil. Leaves a horrible greasy after taste. Coupled with instant indigestion & nausea. Even when opening the donut box that nasty greasy smell is there, yuck 🤮 I don’t recommend this place at all until they can clean up. It used to be okish but I don’t think I’ll be going back. If your in the area go to donut cafe instead it’s over at Tampa & Rinaldi, no weird dirty grease aftertaste or bad dirty grease smells with classic simple donuts available. 2 stars because my husband likes their exotic decadent donut selection, as you can see I’m partial to simple classics.

Loved my turkey sandwich on a bagel. I was able to add avocado and mustard making it very tasty. The cucumber and bell peppers were a nice addition too. I also ordered watermelon. They had yellow watermelon which I was unfamiliar with. It wasn't as sweet as described. Can't wait to try more food from this shop!

These donuts are so great and fresh!!! At almost 5pm the cereal was crispy on top of my donut. My husband says you have to take your time and try it out, it’s so worth making the stop! The customer service was pretty awesome also. We already ate 2 before we took this pic

I have been craving apple fritters for a while! I came here and they have amazing apple fritters. They are huge, crispy and fresh. The shop owner was really nice and gave me a free sprinkles donut. Definitely recommend stopping by!

We stop in here on occasion after leaving our kids' place nearby. It's between them, Earl's, then Chatsworth Fuel, and then the freeway that our car almost knows the route automatically. We don't always include Earl's in that itinerary, but when we do, fresh donuts will be coming home with us. I've been inside the shop several times to observe all the different options they have for sweet treats. Last night I asked Dear Hubby to just order me a chocolate old fashioned while I stayed in the car. They were busy, so it took him a few minutes to get through the line. This was at about 8:45 on a Sunday evening. My own sweet tooth was anxious for a hit of that chocolate, so I enjoyed my donut while we stopped for gas a couple of blocks away. In addition to the great flavor, I appreciate how the consistency of the chocolate icing meant that I could pull apart pieces and not end up with a gushing goo of chocolate all over my fingers. The icing had the right consistency to stay in place, which I appreciated! Now that I'm writing about their donuts I'm starting to crave one all over again.

Great service and good donuts I hoped the trip was crunchy but it was actually soft which makes sense because they do get wet when dipped in the icing. Either way I really enjoyed it. Spacious and good amount of seating available good spot to stop by for late night

We bought 2 dozen of mixed donuts this morning and took them to work place and they have a beater taste afterword, 2 co-workers already mentioned... What a bummer... expensive and tasting NO good. What an embarrassment... very upset and will not buy from them again, they used to be good before. Waste of $$ money.

Absolutely delicious and fresh donut! I got two crumb donuts, one cake and one yeasty and I loved the flavor - it wasn't too oily or sweet, it was perfectly balanced. Service was very friendly and quick, and the treats were beautifully displayed. Ample parking in a shared lot, around the corner from Trader Joe's. Bonus, they have a cute car meet on Thursday mornings.

This was my first visit to Earl's Donuts and it won't be my last. If you are not ordering very many donuts bring cash or you'll need to pay a 50 cent credit card fee. I went around 9am on a Sunday and was surprised that there were not as many options as I am used to with other donut shops. I'm not sure if they sell of some types early or if they have a smaller selection. I was thrilled to see that they have my favorites an old fashion glaze and a sprinkles cake donut. We ordered one chocolate iced cake donut, one vanilla iced cake donut and one old fashion glaze. They were both a bit doughy but overall they tasted good. They have smoothies and other items on the menu but for this visit I only tried the donuts.

Anyplace 24/7 is a place I will try. Wish they had blueberry (cake) doughnuts- a mainstay! Usually can't get these unless @Dunkin but hey, one day! Absolutely love their Apple Fritters tho. A small no-frills in and out type spot. Service has never been bad :) Convenient location, next to a Trader Joe's, grocery store, and Chase Bank, etc.

Not fresh at all. We bought doughnuts for the family and each person said same the same thing, these taste old! We were so disappointed because we don't bring a lot of sugar home so when we do, it's sort of a treat but this went straight to the trash! We will go back to our original place in Granada Hills next time we decide to get doughnuts. But customer service was good and the lady that helped us was very sweet.

This is the go-to spot for excellent, tasty donuts! The customer service is on point, there is plenty of parking and the donuts are soft and super tasty!

I just went to Earl's donuts and not only were they so hospitable and the girls were so nice and sweet but the place is so big has so much variety and choices to choose from. They're open from 4:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. which is amazing and I honestly have to say that this is my new donut place from this day on.

I appreciate that they stay open 24 hours. I work in healthcare and usually do night shift nearby. Very convenient. I love the blended Thai tea. There's a number of drink options to choose from. The matcha and ube donut were both so delicious! There's not very many shops where you could get donuts in those flavors. I definitely want to try a blueberry donut when I come back. The inside is nice and clean. Around 12 am there's a few customers but the wait for my blended Thai tea and donuts was very fast. My go to donut shop!

I came here at 3pm, so take this review with a grain of salt. The donut did not taste the freshest, but I did notice that it had a different taste from all the other donut shops I've been to. I don't know if it was just me, but if I closed my eyes, I get hints of a cookie flavor. Which I don't hate as it's a departure from the traditional. It's also not overly sweet either. If I am ever in the area, I will give this another shot, but I will not be driving all the way here for donuts though. It is more expensive than other donut shops of this nature. I think they just gone through a price increase on most of their items as I saw a sign on their counter with the price increase.

I love a few donut spots but this location is one of my favorites. They have delicious chocolate donuts from plain to filled. The flavors will have you satisfied. Also if you are a breakfast person they have breakfast croissants from simple hame and cheese to stomach fillers of roast beef. The staff is friendly and will answer any of your questions. Parking is in their lot.

One of the best mom & pop donut shop in the valley. The owners are friendly. Service is good. This donut shop sells more than just basic donuts. They offer a variety of drinks, pretty looking/fancy donuts, breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Endless choices, sometimes it's hard to decide on what I want. Today I opted for the dozen, but my usual go to is the Ube donut and Vietnamese coffee.

Moved away 4 years ago and still dream about a #37. Always made fresh to order. Their sandwiches are amazing and service is always amazing. I miss all of you and the vibe of this little donut shop.

Located between Sharkey's and 31 Flavors on Devonshire side of Trader Joe's parking lot. Excellent selection of donuts. An entire case of glazed and another case of cake style. fRESH! I walk in thinking I'll get one w coffee and end up walking out with half dozen. I try to minimize the sugar ( I know that's ridiculous) . My favs are: Boston Cream, buttermilk w chocolate , old fashioned w chocolate, crumb cake, Honestly it's all good. They make bf sandwiches too . Nice staff very efficient service. Tables to sit if you want.

Wow, I've stopped by a few times, but as of yesterday, I noticed something changed! Each donut was a delightful experience, with perfectly balanced flavors--not too sweet, not too bland, and not syrupy and was still fresh and delicious the next day! Grabbed: - Strawberry Red Velvet Mochi - Chocolate Custard donut: whoever made this fresh one deserves to keep making them forever! - Raspberry Filled had a tasty new filling - (Not sure what it's called) Coffee Cake donut was everything you'd want--soft, moist, and with a lovely crumbly topping that added a satisfying crunch. Overall, these donuts were more flavorful. Each one had a distinct flavor profile that showcased new flavors. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I've been here a few times, they usually have some ube donuts, matcha and donuts with art on them.

I love Earls for their sandwiches and drinks mainly. Every donut i've ever head from them tasted old, although last time I got the donut holes were pretty solid. They make some mean breakfast croissant sandwiches, with delicious melty cheese, bacon, hot & fluffy egg, and they can add jalapeño if you choose. (Highly recommend for an extra kick) You could get a sandwich and a drink (boba, lattes, ice blended drinks) for $10 - not bad! Been a customer for years to grab a quick bite on my way to work. I wish they were still open 24/7.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm not a huge donut, or doughnut, guy. I came to Earl's because a friend swore by them. First off, Earl's has an amazing, and varied selection of donuts. Sprinkles, cream filled, nuts, coconut flavor.. You get it. Very impressive. Customer service was interesting. It wasn't bad, but the kid behind the counter just kept staring at me, while I looked over the menu. I told him I wasn't ready to order, but he kept looking. That isn't bad, it just felt awkward having the guy stare at me the entire time. A long with the Donuts. the shop has a bit of everything. Juice drinks, coffee, breakfast food -- and lottery. Yes you can get your lottery fix at Earls' donuts. Now, the donuts were good. Not great. Not mouth watering. Just good. They were a bit doughy for my taste. Meaning they were think and chewy. That may be great for some, not me. Taste was real good, if not a too sweet. Oh yeah, I got the cinnamon sprinkled confection. I got my daughter the chocolate sprinkled. She found it to be alright. I know that 'cause she said, "This is alright." Shop is small, but when I showed up, there were a few tables open. Ambiance is what you'd expect it to be at a donut shop. Would I go there again. Sure. Did it reach the level that my friend set. No.

Happy Hanukkah-First Night and I was introduced to Earl's Doughnuts. Very impressive for what I had. A traditional glazed doughnut. It had all the right hallmarks for a thick, fluffy glazed traditional doughnut. Internal doughnut wasn't greasy, nor fired out. It has the perfect balance for what a doughnut should be! Bravo!

Love their bagel blt for breakfast and their #2 beet juice. They have traditional donuts and more fun creative designs kids would love. You can sit down to eat and anything you order usually comes out quickly. Always a steady stream of people going in and out as they are a nice family owned business that's been there for years.

Thursday morning early is the best time to hit this local donut shop, it's when the gear heads come out with their completed cars or projects to talk shop. Always entertaining and great cars to see...as go the donuts they are delicious and fluffy! Delicious coffee, a little place to buy a lottery ticket, fresh fruit cup and a case full of other things. We run and efficiently done. A definite fav!!!

This place gets busy ... they have great doughnuts. A lot of people go and hangout to play scratchers . I love that they have fresh fruit juices , like the ones they serve at robeks . My fave juice is beets and carrots and apples. So good they also have cute doughnuts for kids with Disney or flower decor .

I've visited Earls Donuts in Chatsworth multiple times, around 5 am every single morning around 1 year and sometimes in the afternoon. One of those visits, unfortunately, I've consistently encountered rude service from the afternoon staff, particularly the lady and Steven. On my most recent visit, they expressed an indifferent attitude, even suggesting that I shouldn't return if I wasn't satisfied with their service. This was the third time I've experienced such treatment, and it's incredibly disappointing. The lack of professionalism and customer care made for a truly unpleasant experience. I won't be returning to Earls Donuts anytime soon. I was hoping for a better experience. Even if it's the first time. I'm a daily client.

The person at the counter is very sweet and nice. The interior is clean and pleasant. Donut shops are some of the happiest places on earth. A good quality donut does not smell of burnt oil, oil that has been used multiple times. The donuts I tried all looked beautiful, but they tasted and smelled like burnt oil which is why I give this place 3 stars. Also, they do not seem to carry sugar donuts or maybe they were out when I went.

Maaannn it's Ben years since I have been here. This most recent visit did not disappoint at all. My son is infatuated with maple bars so we stopped here on our way home. The young man is a very picky eater but soon as he took a bit he was hooked! We ordered two but he was only able to eat about 75% of the first one before passing out on the long ride back home. The food was great to say the least. One think to be mindful of is because this place is so good you may run into a long line or be faced with a packed location creating a very busy vibe.

Took my kid to pick out a donut. He loved it. The people behind the counter were very friendly. Will come back again!

Even though this place is further from my house, it is well worth the drive. It has a huge selection of irresistible donuts. Also they have a good selection of tasty bagel sandwiches and drinks to accommodate any palate.

One of the only places in the SFV that stays open late and ...and when you get there you see the shelves full of tasty donuts. Place looks clean no flying animals or sticky floors. Folks behind the counter are always awake and ready to start packing the kitchen in the box. Buttermilk glazed wow get it. The purple donut is great, don't know what it is but I feel like it's healthy which makes it easier for me to finish it and go for the next one.

This is to amend my previous review of Earl's from 7 years ago. Since then the store has changed hands. The donuts are okay, but the service is poor. The donuts have also doubled in price. While the previous owners were not part of Earl's family, they were welcoming and kind. They also had a variety of donuts to choose from. Today one of the cases was completely empty and there were no cake or buttermilk donuts. Plus, check out the photo for how she packed them. We asked for a dozen and she did not tell us that 2 of our picks did not qualify for the dozen until after she rang us up. It was just disappointing. I can get fairly good donuts anywhere. When this shop goes up for sale again, which I can only imagine is sooner rather than later, I might have to pony up and give it a try myself.

This place was known for their donuts at one time. I used to love going by and getting the occassional apple fritter. In recent years the donuts are no longer being made with quality and it shows. Back in the day you can order an apple fritter and it would be full of apples. The last few months when I order an apple fritter it has no apples its oily and just covered with glaze. I will need to avoid this place altogether. I used to be very supportive but when the owner is trying to outsmart the customers by giving less, then that is a recipe for disaster!

I usually avoid donuts--mainly because so few places offer good vegan donuts--but I was really impressed by the vegan donuts at Earl's. All of the donuts we ordered were freshly made, and beautifully glazed. I worried that the vegan donut's light icing would still be too sweet, but was pleasantly surprised at how well its light sweetness paired with the warm, cakey donut. I'm unsure if the vegan donuts cost more than their regular donuts, as a friend picked them up, but they were certainly worth it. Plenty of parking, but smack in the middle of a ridiculously busy shopping plaza (the south-facing entrance to the Trader Joe's/Smart & Final plaza off of Mason/Devonshire). They're open 24/7 and always have a line out the door (:

Donuts! Delivered donuts! I love that Earl's is open 24 hrs. The donuts are always fresh. Thy always have so many options. And setting an order to be delivered in the morning is possibly the best thing ever!
