Earl's Sandwiches

The best banh mi me and my boyfriend have ever tasted. Crispy bread, filled with our meat of choice and so much veg which made it feel so light and perfect for the hot weather today. I even asked for a lime and they put a little smile, a small thing but I loved it :)

Absolutely lovely banh mi, and great value too! Had the mixed meat and kimchi, IT WAS HUGE! Flavours were excellent and the amount of pickled carrot was much appreciated. I've definitely found a new spot to keep coming back to when I'm in town.

I was shocked when I saw this place had 164 reviews and they were all 5 star - but I completely get it! So much attention to detail, the edamame patê in the Maggi tofu bahn mi was beautiful, and all of the ingredients tasted so fresh. The bread was crunchy on the outside but not painfully so like some baguettes, and soft and airy on the inside. Perfect sandwich.

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I didn't eat it until a couple of hours later when I was on the train and it was still phenomenal. I had the char sui pork banh mi.

- milo dinosaur £3.75 - ca phe sua da £3.75 - pork char siu banh mi £7 - mixed meat w kimchi banh mi £8.25 the place itself is VERY small with only 4 countertop stools inside and a few tables outside so it is def geared towards takeaway BUT the food is most important at the end of the day. their coffee was a bit too sweet for my liking but we were pleasantly surprised to see milo dinosaur on the menu which was so yummy. it is the bread itself that ‘makes or breaks’ a banh mi and theirs was FAULTLESS! their ‘char siu’ was quite thin and more like char siu flavoured ham but actually better practically bc it is a lot easier to eat. the mixed meat had a bit of everything (char siu, chicken, mortadella and kimchi) which may seem a bit overkill but i LOVED IT - 10/10❤️‍🔥

I used Earl’s for the evening food at my wedding and it was absolutely amazing. Everyone told us how tasty these banh mi were - some guests even took the extras home with them! We had made a large order and all the communication was quick and professional and delivered to us with no fuss. Such an affordable option if you don’t fancy shedding out for a food van! Really cute place! I got the tofu banh mi with extra hoisin and sriracha and unfortunately it was just so dry and tasteless😭 there were massive chunks of cucumber which just washed away any flavour. The tofu needs waaaay more marination, more sauce and more flavour. Lovely servers though and it is a lovely atmosphere.

Spectacular bahn mi! I had the spicy miso aubergine and kimchi. Absolutely filled to the brim and bursting with flavour. Highly recommend. Great value too for the giant sandwich you get.
