"In a city that seems to open up a new BBQ spot every other week, you can’t do much better than Earlscourt. It’s a great spot for large, hungry groups to watch sports and eat a lot of meat after a long day of the subway not working for unknown reasons. Get the brisket-covered nachos and split a Pitmaster Platter with a friend (or maybe three or four friends), then choose something from their great craft beer list with options from the Elora Brewing Company and Great Lakes Brewery." - Jake Goldsbie

The pulled pork and beef brisket were top notch. Was also really happy with a $5 pint option during happy hour. Surprisingly our favourite of all the sides was the fries!! Very fresh and salty! We will be back.

Affordable, accessible downtown BBQ. Servings are plentiful, sauces are abundant and service is prompt. Highly recommend the brisket platter and the nachos. Not recommended for people eating low fat diets, vegetarians or vegans. For those eating keto, I'd recommend avoiding the pulled pork as it's quite sweet: stick with the chicken and ribs and you can stay within your macros.

Quite honestly, when I first saw the outside of the resto, it's not fancy or good looking but if you want good BBQ, you know Earlscourt is the place, it's casual, simple spot, you know the meat must be good coz the food sells itself without the need to have a fancy looking place. I was impressed with the pulled pork nacho. Not many resto serves pork, most serves chicken or beef, this pulled pork, along with the cheese, worked perfectly with the nachos. The ribs, beef brisket, wings, all are great stuff. I highly recommend anyone to come to Earlscourt BBQ, it's the REAL deal.

The ribs and wings here were my fav. The brisket was a little dry, so I definitely prefer Adamson’s better- overall not too shabby. Lots of drink options here including some pretty cool craft beers. The staff is also very welcoming and friendly.

We’ve been willing to try it for a long time. We went on a Friday night, no reso required as it was not busy. We ordered the Pitmaster’s Big Plate so we would try a little bit of everything - the brisket and the wings were the winners. Pulled pork and ribs were delicious too, but we would pass on the pork belly. For sides we got the fries and coleslaw, both very good! Not so big on the ambience, maybe the fact that the restaurant is in the basement it might scare some people away. I understand the idea in the red walls and flames, but the place could use a better decor. They have a good selection of beer, house wine is very well priced but the cocktails were a bit pricey.

Finally got a chance to eat here on my last visit to Toronto and I must say, the barbecue was delicious and the portions quite generous as befitting a proper BBQ joint. The brisket was on point as were my sides of slaw and peach baked beans. The biscuit that comes with the meal was quite good, albeit a bit on the small side. Maybe it's because I'm from the States, but I'm used to getting slices of white bread or hunks of cornbread with my BBQ to sop up sauce or make small sandwiches with the delicious meats. My partner's pulled pork nachos were delicious and was such a huge serving that we could only take out about half of it. There's also a rather good-sized craft beer list for those looking for local brews. I did see liquor bottles so you can also maybe get regular mixed drinks as well. For cider fans, there are only a few options available to you. What I liked most about this place was that the decor, lighting, and super friendly staff screams kick-ass BBQ. There's also plenty of large screen TVs if you'd like to take in some sports while eating. All in all, very highly recommended if you're a fan of large quantities of smoked and sauced meats at a super friendly location.

PITMASTERS BIG PLATTER is life changing! So glad they have reopened. True BBQ fans know Pork Ninjas and how delicious every meaty item is. Must try on St Clair! Great patio now open too

Meat, meat glorious meat! Give your guts a treat and pay the family at Earlscourt BBQ a visit. A twelve tap craft selection and a 42 beer can fridge salutes their BBQ menu. I managed to dig into their Alabama fried Chicken and walked out wishing I had room for the Meat Tornado. Once a month they have an all you can eat Pig Roast featuring crackling that will have you smacking your lips until bedtime. Food is prepped from scratch on site and their meat is farmed honestly. Not often you get to meet an owner operator cooking, serving, pouring, greeting and farewelling their guests. ECBBQ is one of those places that will have your belly giving your gob a massive hi5 on the way out. Bag on!!
