"Los Angeles is woefully low on old-school, home-spun diners, which makes Early World all the more compelling. Speaking of compelling, you'd never notice it from its exterior, but inside, it's a giant, unpretentious, kid-friendly, almost all-booth space manned by some of the nicest people in Brentwood. The menu has all the predictable favorites—both for littles and hungover kids from UCLA."

Sadly early world is closing in a month or so. Landlord doubled the rent! Owner decided to retire. Sad. Italian place is going in. It will be really sad to see them go. Brentwood is changing. It is the way of the world but still part of me wish that somethings stayed the same. Go grab a bite there before it goes.

Great breakfast. Large portions, so prepare your stomach. Strong coffee, which is a good thing. It's in Brentwood, so it will be costly.
