Earlybird Breakfast Burritos - Pacific Beach

Early Bird is the place to get the best kick of your day. My kids enjoyed their burritos, and my wife and I had our sandwiches made exactly to our liking and requests. The lady who took our order was very friendly, understanding, and fun. The food was amazing.

Enjoyed the sausage burrito. American cheese, tater tots, seemed liked a jimmy dean sausage patty chopped up. Ingredients well mixed in the burrito. It was heavy but to be expected. Green and red salsas available; I preferred the green with the sausage burrito. Took longer to make than expected.

Story time! This is my absolute favorite breakfast burrito spot in PB and probably in SD. My family and I walk the boardwalk and beach every Sunday and most of the time end here for brunch after the walk. It’s always consistently amazing and delicious but that’s not the point of my review. This last Sunday some of my dearest friends joined us on our walk (since it was my b-day) and I was super excited to bring them to Earlybird specifically for their Firebird burrito. To my utter disappointment I was informed that they had unfortunately run out of the chicken needed for the burrito. I explained that I had brought my friends here specifically to enjoy that burrito but understood the situation and lowered my head and slowly walked away. Before we rounded the corner I heard someone call out to us. She brought us back in and explained that someone from the kitchen had run out to get the ingredients needed and if we were okay waiting a little longer we’d all get the Firebird burrito we went there for. Very excitedly I accepted their offer and after a little (well worth it) wait, our food arrived. Hot, flavorful and absolutely delicious as always! This whole experience just solidified my love for this place and I will be a life long customer for sure!

Tried this place for the first time and the burritos were fire! We had the savory sausage and the Egg’n cheesy and 10/10. Definitely going back.

This is seriously the best breakfast burrito I have ever had!! I tried the chorizo burrito, it had fried eggs, tater tots, guacamole, and for the chorizo- they fried some cheese on the griddle and then put the chorizo into it. The salsa verde was a great addition, it had great flavor and helped balance the heaviness of the meat and cheese. I am so sad that I live in Arizona but every time I come to Mission/Pacific beach I will be returning. It’s close to the beach too! Perfect for a morning walk or picnic. Staff was friendly and site was clean. Only outside seating but great music. Holy moly for burrito!

Decided to try this breakfast burrito place a friend raves about. The menu does not have a wide selection to choose from and is all breakfast. They open at 7am-12pm on Sun-Thurs and 7am-2pm on Fri-Sat. I ordered online the egg and cheesy burrito and picked it up around 9am. At that time there is open spaces available to park quickly but they aren’t necessarily designated for the place. There’s a sign that indicates “order pick up” and someone will come up to the counter and ask the name for the order. There is salsas available as well, green and red with other utensils if needed. The burrito itself was good, it came with crispy tater tots and the melted cheese made it great. However I am not a huge fan of egg that is made in an omelet sort of way. I prefer to have it scrambled if it’s in a burrito. This is how the egg comes it’s thicker and rolled in with the tortilla. The size is thick and extremely filling, I couldn’t finish the whole thing. The red salsa for me was the better than the green. My friend loves the sausage burrito and will add bacon to it.

Absolutely one of the best breakfast burritos around. I get the savory sausage. I highly recommend.

Small menu, but that's not a bad thing at all. Huge portions and great taste is what they nailed. I had the soyrizo burrito and my wife had the breakfast sausage one. Bother we're awesome. The hot sauces are also a great compliment.
