Their other speciality donuts offer an adventurous alternative to the usual selection you’d get at other family-owned establishments. Amazingly yummy donuts and great customer service! The donuts are actually "Gourmet" creations. Very tasty, amazing texture, delicious. It was our first time at the store and they added a free on-the-house donuts. After packing the donuts in the box, they filled the gaps with free mini donuts. Absolutely great customer service. Highly recommend Ernest Donuts!

Not a fan of donuts, BUT THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Donuts always hit the spot, their breakfast sandwiches are too good! You have to get a glazed donut breakfast sandwich with sausage egg and American cheese with jalapeño HITS EVERYTIME! Our favorite spot to go to now

I was so sure I had left a review but shocked I didn’t. I was probably too busy eating their amazing donuts! I’ve been here at least 25 times already. These truly are the freshest and best donuts around!!! I called ahead of time because my ETA was 11:57am knowing they close at 12- they stayed open for me. I go almost every week with my son, and it never disappoints. Their service and donuts are both 5/5. Only one time, I felt the donuts were dry and called to let the staff know. The next time, the owner recognized me, and gave me my order on the house. I would highly recommend you do special orders or regular stops here. They even have donuts that say Happy Birthday- perfect to make someone’s day!! They’ll always offer to add filling if they don’t have it out. I have yet to try the coffee, but I know they use coffee ice cubes instead of water ice cubes! At the end, they’ll always throw in a few freebie holes or a donut, and that always makes my day! Also once you redeem their loyalty card, it’s $10 off your purchase!! That’s so much better than just a free donut. Love earnest!!! Thanks for making our mornings great.

I have been going to Earnest for several years and have never been disappointed. Plain cakes are crisp on the outside fluffy on the inside. Blueberry cake donut is not too sweet, and we just discovered the the cheesecake donut! OMG!

DFW is one of the best cities/metro areas for donuts in the country, and Earnest Donuts has the BEST blueberry donut, croissant donuts and apple fritters in DFW. The blueberry crumb (streusal crumble) donut is my favorite cake donut. The Croissant donuts are to die for, and the croissant dough is flaky and pillowy, collapsing and melting in your mouth. The cinnamon sugar croissant donut give a bit more crunch, and glazed is also very good. Apple fritters have fresh apples and warm cinnamon, and the dough is very plush. The dough at Earnest is remarkably consistent in quality, and the balance of flavors and textures is apparent when eating a classic donut or something fancier like the banana cream pie, or smores donut. It's the quality of the donuts, attention to detail, interesting flavors and friendly staff that keeps me coming back to Earnest Donuts. Looking forward to apple cider this fall. Thanks!

Came to Earnest Donuts just to pick up 1 small Orange juice, 2 small Sausage Rolls with cheese and 1 dozen donuts for my son and his friend. $30.00 bucks. Are you serious, $22.00 bucks for a dozen glaze donuts. I have feed his basketball team breakfast sandwiches for cheaper. Never again will they get my business, nor the teams, and especially not the office.

The go to place for delicious novelty doughnuts. The maple bacon donut itself is worth it no matter what your arteries tell you. All of the donuts are always soft and fluffy. The sandwiches and kolaches are also a popular item that get sold out fairly quickly so come early. Also if you go here frequently, there's a punch card that lets you have $10 when you fill it out completely

Wow! we arrived 9:45AM, had a great selection of donuts. both of the employees were very sweet as their donuts. What truly impresses me are the donuts freshness, I am 100% convinced that they are made with love and care. I have no problem paying a little bit extra for something that's made delicately. The ambience is just like a normal coffee shop with the addition of donuts. They offer sandwiches with any type of meat, cheese and egg. They also have burritos stuffed with potatoes, eggs, and meat. You can also get donuts customized with letters, but you have to order those 72 hours in advanced. This is 100% my new favorite donut shop in the area. 100% recommend all that are allowed to have sweet treats.

Best chocolate glazed with sprinkles for sure!!! The donut was so fresh and soft and delicious. The chocolate and sprinkles made it perfect! This is my first time here. The staff was wonderful! So kind and helpful. I got 2 dozen of the classic to bring into work. She asked if the donuts were for kids or adults! She made all the right choices. So many great options for doughnuts in north Dallas! This one is top 3 on just service let alone the pure freshness. Best crème brûlée doughnut so far with them even making one fresh since the case was sold out. Old-fashioned chocolate was solid and apple fritter was perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. On and the extra glazed doughnut didn't hurt!

What a good little treat for us Las Vegans. We are visiting The Colony for our son's medical treatment. Everything has been very stressful since we arrived from Las Vegas, NV. We wanted something sweet to calm our nerves, and found ED on Yelp! The donut shop is clean & quaint. The female staff (White lady w/ short hair) was incredibly friendly! She suggested old fashion cinnamon roll donut, as well as blueberry cake donut. I'll save the blueberry one for tomorrow. The cinnamon roll donut was delicious, with the right amount of firmness in terms of chewiness and a ton of cinnamon sprinkles enmeshed inside. So happy to have stopped in, and we'll visit again, the next time we are staying in the DFW area!

Pretty delicious donuts and close to me so it's perfect! The cronut holes are delicious and I love the texture of them. I enjoyed the blueberry cake donut I tried as well. I recently got the maple bacon and it was also tasty but a bit more sweet than the others. I have also ordered the kolaches and they are good I just wish they had more cheese in the ones that should have cheese. I've ordered some and thought they gave me ones without cheese because I couldn't find any in the kolaches. I love how they usually add a few extra donut holes to the box. The cinnamon roll wasn't bad but it is on the smaller side. Still good flavor and tastes great warmed up for about 10 seconds.

Very tasty donuts. Best apple fritter, blueberry donut (crumb and regular) and croissant donut in town. Cinammon and sugar dusting is perfect. The dough here: yeast or cake is top notch. Highly recommend!

Ordered these donuts for the first time and my whole family was actually obsessed with them. They were super fresh and the flavors were absolutely amazing. Every donut we tried was so good, this is our new go-to donut spot!

Yummy spot!! Customer service was astounding! I ordered the iced coffee with coffee cubes, blueberry crumble cake donut and a BEC (bacon egg cheese) bagel sandwich-- didn't make it to the photos because it was so good and eaten! Lol I definitely enjoyed and will return. They are a little pricey but worth it ;)

If you get nothing else, you need to order the croissant donut holes and the Rhode Island coffee! The croissant donut holes are perfect portions - complete with delightful flaky texture, and right amount of sweetness! I was really pleased with their specialty coffee. I appreciate that they have implemented covid protocols: masks required, must use hand sanitizer or complementary gloves upon entry, stand 6 ft apart from other patrons. Even the merchandise is packaged individually.

First time and won't be the last. We got the coconut crème, s'mores, raspberry filled, two decorated, cronut holes, chocolate covered donut holes, and two small jalapeño sausage rolls. Every single thing was fantastic!

Always enjoy to trip to earnest. Normally it's a little treat for me and my little guy. We have a go to order. The service is always with a smile-even with their masks. They are always cheery. I guess it could be all the sugar then are around and the coffee, but still! They are quick with your order set up and able to customize when they appear low on a particular regular offered items. I have seen custom orders regularly on their Instagram page and look forward to getting into something this year for my sons birthday! Cronuts!!!!!! OMG they are amazing! Cute place and the donuts were amazing. I little on the pricier side. But the staff was friendly and even a frequent customer ahead of me said I was ordering all the right items. Delicious

$3.99 for a blueberry cake donut that you can get the same donut but better tasting for $1.40 at Shipleys?! Take your inflated money elsewhere because apart from the decoration, the taste ain't all that. Plus, Shipleys gives you a dozen for $12. Here, every donut has its own fee with no dozen bundle option. If you're not spending at least $4 for a specialty donut, go somewhere else where you get more bang for your buck! Until inflation calms down, see you later Earnest donuts! I'll be taking my money to a cheaper spot ‍ Plus, you don't have to worry about that awkward screen that pops up at the end of your transaction asking if you want to tip for them doing their job. I guess we should tip everywhere we go even though they're doing their job...

I only tried the cronut holes and blueberry cake, but they were rather tasty. They threw in a couple glazed holes that were good too. Can't complain about solid donuts.

I love the variety of flavors here! Some notable favorites are the cronut/cronut holes and the earl grey donut (cake) . At some point all these donut establishments blend together and taste very similar with the bulk bucket jams and icings. Nonetheless, earnest is a good place to satisfy the donut craving. The service was excellent and prompt. They have plenty of hand sanitizer available which I appreciate!!

Earnest has the cronut I've been on the hunt for. I prefer a cronut that's more on the croissant-y side: light and soft with flaky layers. I've tried other cronuts and the layers are heavy, dense and saturated with deep fried oil. I've only been here once but will definitely make it a point to stop here and get more cronuts & donuts if I'm in the area.

The donuts are alright, but please do improve the coffee - drip coffee with the over sweet syrups don't pair well with donuts.

The service here is definitely a 5 stars and they have so many options it's crazy! I loved how nice everyone was and how helpful they were too. The donuts are a bit expensive but it is definitely worth a try because they have so many cute and interesting flavors. I tried some donut holes and got a tea flavored donut. The donut holes smelled great and tasted pretty good but also slightly dry because I got the donuts towards the end of the day when they were close to closing and so it probably wasn't as fresh as when they just open.

Green tea and earl grey donuts!!! And also cronuts!!! Loved this donut place. So many unique flavors without going too over-the-top. But their original donuts were superb, as well. Can't go wrong with any flavor you choose They have a punch card so make sure you grab one so you can score some free donuts

Best Gourmet Donuts in DFW. Everything in this box was delicious. My number one is the Boston Cream. Im coming back for more. Service was great as well. Next time Ill try the coffee, I heard its good too. :)

Not only does Earnest have wonderful donuts and sausage rolls, but they are one of the few businesses I've encountered in the area that is enforcing a no-mask/no-entry policy which makes me love them all the more. So they are my favorite donut shop in the area. My favorite donuts are the glazed cronut and the Earl Grey Tea donut. Pretty much everything I have had so far though is good, though I think their cinnamon donuts are actually a little stronger on the cinnamon than I prefer and a little too intense for me (your mileage may vary). The sweets are very sweet though so good to buy one sausage roll to balance the meal. They usually throw in a few Cronut holes with the order for an extra treat. If they added a bacon-free maple cronut to the lineup I'd be in heaven as those are my favorites but their glazed one is pretty spectacular. (Nothing wrong with bacon in general, but I'm just one of those weirdos who likes to keep the savory out of my sweets.. even if I'm eating other savory things like the aforementioned sausage roll).

Ordered a strawberry shortcake donut, s'mores, & pink sprinkled. Strawberry shortcake dough was very light & airy & the cream was very rich S'mores had a hard marshmallow in it which I wish was hot/soft & warm instead Pink sprinkles was just okay. Would not be able to tell if it was from Earnest or a gas station. I think if the donuts were hot or warm or definitely not cold, I would have enjoyed them more. My wife got a jalepeno cheese kolache & said it was spicy. She gave it 5 stars. Overall, I will not come back unfortunately.

A friend brought these donut treats to me and MAN, I was in heaven. I am an avid tea drinker and heard that they had Earl Grey flavored donuts and sure enough, my friend brought me Earl Grey, Matcha tea donuts. They got the flavors spot on.. So delicious. We also got a cronut and the cronut balls as well! They were such a delight! I've never had cronut balls before, lemme tell ya, they are very addictive! So easy to pop them in your mouth. They are flacky, crisp on the inside and have this light sugar crust encapsulating their goodness! I'll have to checkout this spot for myself and see what other delicious flavors that I find. A new donut heaven in my book.

Earnest Donuts, y'all "Earnest" deserve more than 5 stars! All of our donut selections were great!! My flavorite was the cheesecake donut and Mr. G's, the cherry donut - that was a cherry joly rancher flavor on top of fluffy heaven! The cheesecake donut was prefect!! The cheesecake custard was not overly sweet and the berries on top were perfectly ripe. I'll be Earnest, I mean honest, I was concerned the berries would just be picked off due to being too mushy, but nope! Y'all did it right! The coconut cream donut was really delish! Mr. G loved every bite he got of it. I could only have a couple bites if it as the cream middle was too sweet for me. Overall, a really good donut. Maybe a custard middle option would be the way to go for me. Let's talk CV19 controls for a minute...I, we, appreciate businesses who care enough to invest in supplying hand sanitizer and ask their customers to wear a mask. I get it, it's inconvenient and uncomfortable. I have a chronic auto immune disease and these days are scary so precautionary measures are respected in our end. Earnest Donut asks 1 that you wear a mask and 2 you use hand sanitizer at entry. For the nasty alleged "nurse" who argued (in summary) it wouldn't matter and didn't want to comply but inevitably did cause she must know these are the best donuts this side of town - REALLY?? If you can't respect a privately owned business's health and safety requirements, go get a donut at the gas station and leave your drama at home where it belongs. As long as she spent arguing about it she could've ordered and been out the dang door. Times are hard enough. Just sayin.

Donuts donuts oh how you touch my foodie soul in such a way. I decided to do a quick Sunday stop off on my way into work. The donut options seemed almost endless. There are donuts topped with Matcha green tea to the oh so classic caramel bacon donut. There seems to be a donut option for almost everyone. An added plus is this cute donut shop also offers breakfast sandwiches and burritos too. Pair you're favorite sweet with a little savory item to take you're breakfast experience to another level. Fresh brewed coffee and soft drinks are available for purchase. I tried the caramel bacon donut with two donut holes. Everything I ate was delicious! Eats here are a little pricey, however to me it is worth every penny. If you find yourself in the area make sure to try this place out. Enjoy!

Their donuts are works of art! Great variety of unique flavors and cool custom donuts. I ordered the sushi donuts which requires pre ordering a day in advance. I ordered on a Monday morning to pick up on Tuesday but they close on Mondays. They allowed me to order them for Tuesday with a small rush fee. The cost was still reasonable! The sushi's were beautiful and it allowed me to sample a variety of flavors they have in store. Each were unique and delicious. The service was great! We were offered free samples. How nice!

They have gluten free donuts on the weekends after 8am in the morning. This morning we had to wait 10 minutes for fresh donuts. The staff are very friendly and are happy to assist in any way possible. If you are not gluten free they have a wide range of beautiful looking donuts including the unicorn donut. The flavors they have are wonderful. Cinnamon old fashioned, earl gray, strawberry shortcake, and too many more to list. They do have the donuts you find at a typical donut shop too. Plus with school starting next week they have back to school donuts for the parents and kids. There is little area for the kids with a chalkboard and small table. It is really cute and keeps the kids busy once they are done with the goodies.

I love donuts but I'm a purist I guess because I've had fancy type donuts before and I found them excessively sweet which I guess I can't appreciate. I've had ED bookmarked for a while and I had a taste for some donuts so I immediately thought of this place. I was pleasantly surprised to find no line Saturday morning but everybody must have came super early because they were running low on donuts. I will say, everything looked good and though they were running low they still had quite a bit to choose from but I Iiterally had to tell myself not to go overboard when I got in there because the donuts were only for me, so I ordered a glazed twist, a coffee donut, a red velvet cake donut, glazed croissant donut holes and a few glazed donut holes were thrown in for free. After adding a chocolate milk my order was 8.41, so not bad on pricing. The glazed twist was by far the best, super light and tender, and perfectly sweet, not sugar overload. The glazed donut holes were my second favorite same reasons the twist was my favorite The red velvet cake donut was good, but I was expecting a more red velvet taste, it was quite subdued ,but the donut was very moist and not overly sweet. The glazed croissant donut holes were soooooo sweet, like to sweet in my opinion and they were a bit to hard for my liking. The coffee donut was by far my least favorite, I liked the initial coffee flavor but it had slight bitter aftertaste so after 2 bites I was done with it. Overall, the donuts were good albeit overhyped, but the customer service was great and I'll definitely go back for the glazed donuts!

As a die-hard donut fanatic, Earnest Donut has been one of the best places I've been. The croissant donuts are incredibly crispy on the outside and soft and nice on the inside! The owner and staff were super friendly too and gave us extra donut holes to go with the donuts we ordered!

If you get a donut craving, or maybe you promised your mom that you'd buy donuts on Friday morning (you're welcome, Mom!!), Earnest Donuts comes through. With more than just your run-of-the-mill donuts (absolutely no disrespect to the glazed, choco/strawberry glazed donuts of the world), ED can satisfy that yearning for Oreos AND a donut at the same time. Maybe you want a s'mores but in a ...donut? Go for it. All in all, a sweet spot to satiate a sweet tooth. (And to fulfill your promise to your mom that you'll buy donuts the next morning.)

A coworker brought these in this morning, and I had to track down where she got them, so good! I had the key lime pie, cronut holes, and some sort of fried blueberry donut. The key lime pie and cronuts are out of this world amazing, I cannot overstate how delicious they were! The fried blueberry had a delicious, fluffy donut interior, but the thick, crumbly fried outside was just too much for me, wouldn't get that one myself. However, the other ones are enough to get me to make a trip to get more!

Really cute, good service. Sushi donuts are reallly cute and tasty. Just be aware if u can't tell from the pics that they're like 1/3 of the size of a regular donut so don't bank on them being enough to feed that many people. They have really cool flavors- favorites are early grey, citrus honey, and matcha. I'll skip the strawberry shortcake one next time - too sweet. The decor is on point! They have realy cool decor and ideas like giant donuts, letter donuts. It is pretty pricey though so just be aware of that.

Oh my goodness!! We loved this donut place. I can't wait to come back to try more of their specialities. Make sure you try their perfectly creamy creme brulee and their sweet and savory bacon crumble donuts. The kids had a blast with their chalkboard wall and didn't want to leave. My 3 yr old had her own review of the donuts: "these are the best ever ... I want to come back again and again -lots of times". I agree kids! We will be back! If you have a birthday or special event make sure you come here. Their designs are not just the typical cookie cutter happy birthday you've seen at other places. Their donuts are a step above, beautiful decorated and delicious.

Where to start on how great the experience was from beginning to end! It was our first visit and the girl helping us was so patient as my children and myself tried to pick donuts. While they are on the pricier side they are worth the the quality. The cronut was delicious.

Cronuts we're EXCELLENT!!! The ham egg and cheese croissant needed a bit more WORK - Croissant was great but lacking on the egg and ham found/not found within. (taste the cheese but not so much on the other ingredients)
